In this paper,the generalized extended tanh-function method is used for constructing the traveling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations.We choose Fisher's equation,the nonlinear schr(o|¨)dinger equation to illustrate the validity and advantages of the method.Many new and more general traveling wave solutions are obtained.Furthermore,this method can also be applied to other nonlinear equations in physics.  相似文献

In this paper, we will introduce how to apply Green’s function method to get the pointwise estimates for the solutions of Cauchy problem of nonlinear evolution equations with dissipative structure. First of all, we introduce the pointwise estimates of the time-asymptotic shape of the solutions of the isentropic Navier-Stokes equations and show to exhibit the generalized Huygen’s principle. Then, for other nonlinear dissipative evolution equations, we will only introduce the result and give some brief explanations. Our approach is based on the detailed analysis of the Green’s function of the linearized system and micro-local analysis, such as frequency decomposition and so on.  相似文献

Implicit-explicit (IMEX) linear multistep methods are popular techniques for solving partial differential equations (PDEs) with terms of different types. While fixed timestep versions of such schemes have been developed and studied, implicit-explicit schemes also naturally arise in general situations where the temporal smoothness of the solution changes. In this paper we consider easily implementable variable step-size implicit-explicit (VSIMEX) linear multistep methods for time-dependent PDEs. Families of order-p, pstep VSIMEX schemes are constructed and analyzed, where p ranges from 1 to 4. The corresponding schemes are simple to implement and have the property that they reduce to the classical IMEX schemes whenever constant time step-sizes are imposed. The methods are validated on the Burgers' equation. These results demonstrate that by varying the time step-size, VSIMEX methods can outperform their fixed time step counterparts while still maintaining good numerical behavior.  相似文献

In contrast to the cognate Laplace equation, for which a vast number of Green's functions is available, the field is not that developed for the static Klein-Gordon equation. The latter represents, nonetheless, a natural area for application of some of the methods that are proven productive for the Laplace equation. The perspective looks especially attractive for the methods of images and eigenfunction expansion. This study is based on our experience recently gained on the construction of Green's functions for elliptic partial differential equations. An extensive list of boundary-value problems formulated for the static Klein-Gordon equation is considered. Computerfriendly representations of their Green's functions are obtained, most of which have never been published before.  相似文献

Game theory is extensively used to study strategy-making and actions of play- ers. The authors proposed an analysis method for study the evolutionary outcome and behaviors of players with preference in iterated prisoner's dilemma. In this article, a preference parameter k was introduced in the payoff matrix, wherein the value of k denotes the player's degree of egoism and altruism (preference). Then, a game-theoretic dynamical model was formulated using Birth-and-Death process. The authors studied how preference influences the evolutionary equilibrium and behaviors of players. The authors get the general results: egoism leads to defection, and altruism can make players build trust and maintain cooperation, and so, the hope of the Pareto optimal solution. In the end, the simulation experiments proved the efficiency of the method.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the Cauchy problem for a semi-linear system of wave equations with Hamilton structure. We prove the existence of global smooth solution of the system for subcritical case by using conservation of energy and Strichartz's estimate. On the basis of Morawetz-Pohozev identity, we obtain the same result for the critical case.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to solve numerically the inverse problem of reconstructing small amplitude perturbations in the magnetic permeability of a dielectric material from partial or total dynamic boundary measurements. Our numerical algorithm is based on the resolution of the time-dependent Maxwell equations, an exact controllability method and Fourier inversion for localizing the perturbations. Two-dimensional numerical experiments illustrate the performance of the reconstruction method for different configurations even in the case of limited-view data.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove some fixed point theorems for generalized contractions in the setting of G-metric spaces. Our results extend a result of Edelstein [M. Edelstein, On fixed and periodic points under contractive mappings, J. London Math. Soc., 37 (1962), 74-79] and a result of Suzuki [T. Suzuki, A new type of fixed point theorem in metric spaces, Nonlinear Anal., 71 (2009), 5313-5317]. We prove, also, a fixed point theorem in the setting of G-cone metric spaces.  相似文献

In this paper we derive LPS's criterion for the breakdown of classical solutions to the incompressible nematic liquid crystal flow, a simplified version of Ericksen-Leslie system modeling the hydrodynamic evolution of nematic liquid crystals in R3.
