A class of biholomorphic mappings named “quasi-convex mappings of type D” is introduced in the unit ball of a complex Banach space, which is the natural generalization of the convex functions in one variable. It is proved that this class of mappings is a subset of the class of “quasi-convex mappings of type A” introduced by K.A. Roper and T.J. Suffridge.  相似文献

When the Banach space is confined to ℂ n , we obtain the relation between this class of mappings and the convex mappings. Finally, we get the second order terms coefficient estimations of the homogeneous expansion of quasi-convex mapping of order α defined on the polydisc in ℂ n and on the unit ball in a complex Banach space, respectively. In this paper, a new class of biholomorphic mappings named “ε quasi-convex mapping” is introduced in the unit ball of a complex Banach space. Meanwhile, the definition of ε-starlike mapping is generalized from ε∈[0,1] to ε∈[−1,1]. It is proved that the class of ε quasi-convex mappings is a proper subset of the class of starlike mappings and contains the class of ε starlike mappings properly for some ε∈[−1,0)∪(0,1]. We give a geometric explanation for ε-starlike mapping with ε∈[−1,1] and prove that the generalized Roper-Suffridge extension operator preserves the biholomorphic ε starlikeness on some domains in Banach spaces for ε∈[−1,1]. We also give some concrete examples of ε quasi-convex mappings or ε starlike mappings for ε∈[−1,1] in Banach spaces or Cn. Furthermore, some other properties of ε quasi-convex mapping or ε-starlike mapping are obtained. These results generalize the related works of some authors.  相似文献

In this paper, the refining growth and covering theorems for f are established, where f is a quasi-convex mapping of order α and x = 0 is a zero of order k + 1 of f(x) − x. As an application, we obtain the upper and lower bounds on the distortion theorem of f(x) defined on the unit polydisc of ℂ n . The upper bound of the distortion theorem for f(x) defined on the unit ball of a complex Banach space is also given. Our results extend the growth and distortion theorems for convex functions of one complex variable to quasi-convex mappings of several complex variables.  相似文献

近年来,双全纯凸(准凸)映照的偏差定理的研究已经获得一些可喜成果,但目前星形映照的偏差定理研究成果还较少.利用α次殆星形映射的增长估计,我们得到了C~n中开单位球B~n上一类α次殆星形映射的偏差估计.对复Banach空间单位球B和Reinhard域Ω_p1,…,p_n,可得到同样的结论,正如猜想的一样.  相似文献

In this paper, a class of biholomorphic mappings called complete quasiconvex mappings is introduced and studied in bounded convex Reinhardt domains of ℂ n . Through a detailed analysis of the analytic characterization for this class of mappings, it is shown that this class of mappings contains the convex mappings and is also a subset of the class of starlike mappings. In the special case of the polydisc, a decomposition theorem is established for the complete quasiconvex mappings, which in turn is used to derive an improved sufficient condition for the convex mappings. The Radon-Nikodym property in a separable Banach spaceX is related to the representation ofX as a weak* first Borel class subset of some dual Banach space (its bidualX**, for instance) by well known results due to Edgar and Wheeler [8], and Ghoussoub and Maurey [9, 10, 11]. The generalizations of those results depend on a new notion of Borel set of the first class “generated by convex sets” which is more suitable to deal with non-separable Banach spaces. The asymptotic-norming property, introduced by James and Ho [13], and the approximation by differences of convex continuous functions are also studied in this context. The authors obtain the estimates of all homogeneous expansions for a subclass of ε quasi-convex mappings on the unit ball in complex Banach spaces. Moreover, the estimates of all homogeneous expansions for the above generalized mappings on the unit polydisk in ?n are also obtained. Especially, the above estimates are only sharp for a subclass of starlike mappings, quasi-convex mappings and quasi-convex mappings of type \(\mathbb{A}\). An important consequence of the Hahn–Banach theorem says that on any locally convex Hausdorff topological space X, there are sufficiently many continuous linear functionals to separate points of X. In the paper, we establish a “local” version of this theorem. The result is applied to study the uo-dual of a Banach lattice that was recently introduced in Gao et al. (Positivity 22(3):711–725, 2018). We also provide a simplified approach to the measure-free characterization of uniform integrability established in Kardaras (J Funct Anal 266:1913–1927, 2014).  相似文献

We exhibit a collection of extreme points of the family of normalized convex mappings of the open unit ball of ℂ n forn≥2. These extreme points are defined in terms of the extreme points of a closed ball in the Banach space of homogeneous polynomials of degree 2 in ℂ n−1, which are fully classified. Two examples are given to show that there are more convex mappings than those contained in the closed convex hull of the set of extreme points here exhibited.  相似文献

The main results of the paper include (a) a theorem containing estimates for the surjection modulus of a “partial composition” of set-valued mappings between metric spaces which contains as a particlar case well-known Milyutin’s theorem about additive perturbation of a mapping into a Banach space by a Lipschitz mapping; (b) a “double fixed point” theorem for a couple of mappings, one from X into Y and another from Y to X which implies a fairly general version of the set-valued contraction mapping principle and also a certain (different) version of the first theorem.  相似文献

The paper contains two groups of results. The first are criteria for calmness/subregularity for set-valued mappings between finite-dimensional spaces. We give a new sufficient condition whose subregularity part has the same form as the coderivative criterion for “full” metric regularity but involves a different type of coderivative which is introduced in the paper. We also show that the condition is necessary for mappings with convex graphs. The second group of results deals with the basic calculus rules of nonsmooth subdifferential calculus. For each of the rules we state two qualification conditions: one in terms of calmness/subregularity of certain set-valued mappings and the other as a metric estimate (not necessarily directly associated with aforementioned calmness/subregularity property). The conditions are shown to be weaker than the standard Mordukhovich–Rockafellar subdifferential qualification condition; in particular they cover the cases of convex polyhedral set-valued mappings and, more generally, mappings with semi-linear graphs. Relative strength of the conditions is thoroughly analyzed. We also show, for each of the calculus rules, that the standard qualification conditions are equivalent to “full” metric regularity of precisely the same mappings that are involved in the subregularity version of our calmness/subregularity condition. A new methodology leading to the construction of a universal connection for Fréchet principal bundles is proposed in this paper. The classical theory, applied successfully so far for finite dimensional and Banach modelled bundles, collapses within the framework of Fréchet manifolds. However, based on the replacement of the space of continuous linear mappings by an appropriate topological vector space, we endow the bundle J 1 P of 1-jets of the sections of a Fréchet principal bundle P with a connection form by means of which we may “reproduce” every connection of P.   相似文献

For mappings of an interval into locally convex spaces, convex and compact convex analogs of absolute continuity, bounded variation, and the Luzin N-property are introduced and studied. We prove that, in the general case, a convex analog of the Banach–Zaretsky criteria can be “split” into sufficient and necessary conditions. However, in the Fréchet-space case, we have an exact compact analog of the criteria.  相似文献
