In this work we report about a new rare-earth oxoborate β-Dy2B4O9 synthesized under high-pressure/high-temperature conditions from Dy2O3 and boron oxide B2O3 in a B2O3/Na2O2 flux with a walker-type multianvil apparatus at 8 GPa and 1000°C. Single crystal X-ray structure determination of β-Dy2B4O9 revealed: , a=616.2(1) pm, b=642.8(1) pm, c=748.5(1) pm, α=102.54(1)°, β=97.08(1)°, γ=102.45(1)°, Z=2, R1=0.0151, wR2=0.0475 (all data). The compound exhibits a new structure type which is built up from bands of linked BO3- (Δ) and tetrahedral BO4-groups (□). The Dy3+-cations are positioned in the voids between the bands. According to the conception of fundamental building blocks β-Dy2B4O9 can be classified with the notation 2Δ6□:Δ3□=4□=3□Δ. Furthermore we report about temperature-resolved in situ powder diffraction measurements and IR-spectroscopic investigations on β-Dy2B4O9.  相似文献

Two new compounds of the AxMOXO4 family, β-LiVOAsO4 and β-VOAsO4, have been synthesized by solid state reaction and electrochemical lithium deintercalation from β-LiVOAsO4, respectively. Both compounds are isostructural and are built like other β-VOXO4 (X=S, P) by (VO5) chains of distorted VO6 octahedra connected via corner-shared AsO4 tetrahedra. For β-LiVOAsO4 the additional Li+ ions occupy chains of edge-shared octahedra running perpendicularly to the (VO5) chains. The one-dimensional antiferromagnetic behavior suggested by the structure has been experimentaly confirmed. It is shown that lithium deintercalation occurs through a first-order transition at 4.02 V vs Li+/Li0. From chemical bond considerations it is shown why the redox potential of a given transition element M in a six-fold coordination involving (M=O)m+ units lies between those observed in oxides and in M2(XO4)3 compounds with (XO4)n oxo anions (X=S, P, As).  相似文献

Chromium(III)-phosphate reactions are expected to be important in managing high-level radioactive wastes stored in tanks at many DOE sites. Extensive studies on the solubility of amorphous Cr(III) solids in a wide range of pH (2.8–14) and phosphate concentrations (10–4 to 1.0 m) at room temperature (22±2)°C were carried out to obtain reliable thermodynamic data for important Cr(III)-phosphate reactions. A combination of techniques (XRD, XANES, EXAFS, Raman spectroscopy, total chemical composition, and thermodynamic analyses of solubility data) was used to characterize solid and aqueous species. Contrary to the data recently reported in the literature,(1) only a limited number of aqueous species [Cr(OH)3H2PO4, Cr(OH)3(H2PO4)2–2), and Cr(OH)3HPO2–4] with up to about four orders of magnitude lower values for the formation constants of these species are required to explain Cr(III)-phosphate reactions in a wide range of pH and phosphate concentrations. The log Ko values of reactions involving these species [Cr(OH)3(aq)+H2PO4⇌Cr(OH)3H2PO4; Cr(OH)3(aq)+2H2PO4⇌Cr(OH)3(H2PO4)2–2; Cr(OH)3(aq)+HPO2–4⇌Cr(OH)3HPO2–4] were found to be 2.78±0.3, 3.48±0.3, and 1.97±0.3, respectively.  相似文献

New ternary metal borides with compositionR. E. T 4B4 (R. E.=rare earth metal,T=transition metal) have been synthesized within the systems [La,Ce,Pr,Nd,Sm]–Os–B and [Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb]–Ir–B. All compounds were found to be crystallizing with NdCo4B4-type structure. Magnetic measurements (80–300 K,Curie-Weiss behaviour, p ~ 16K and µeff=9.94µB for TbIr4B4) indicate Y andR. E. elements (except Ce) to be trivalent in these compounds. The crystal chemistry of the isotypic series [Y,R. E.] [Os,Ir]4B4 is discussed.

Zusammenfassung Es wurden neue Metallboride der ZusammensetzungR. E. T 4B4 (R. E.=Seltenerdmetall,T=Übergangsmetall) innerhalb der Systeme [La,Ce, Pr,Nd,Sm]–Os–B und [Y,La,Ce,Pr,Nd,Sm,Gd,Tb]–Ir–B hergestellt. Alle Verbindungen kristallisieren entsprechend dem NdCo4B4-Typ. Magnetische Messungen (80–300K,Curie-Weiss-Verhalten, p ~ 16K und µeff=9.94µB für TbIr4B4) zeigen an daß Y und dieR. E.-Elemente (ausgenommen Ce) in diesen Verbindungen trivalent sind. Die Kristallchemie der isotypen [Y,R. E.][Os,Ir]4B4-Verbindungen wird diskutiert.

The rotational barriers between the configurational isomers of two structurally related push–pull 4-oxothiazolidines, differing in the number of exocyclic CC bonds, have been determined by dynamic 1H NMR spectroscopy. The equilibrium mixture of (5-ethoxycarbonylmethyl-4-oxothiazolidin-2-ylidene)-1-phenylethanone (1a) in CDCl3 at room temperature to 333 K consists of the E- and Z-isomers which are separated by an energy barrier ΔG# 98.5 kJ/mol (at 298 K). The variable-temperature 1H NMR data for the isomerization of ethyl (5-ethoxycarbonylmethylidene-4-oxothiazolidin-2-ylidene)ethanoate (2b) in DMSO-d6, possessing the two exocyclic CC bonds at the C(2)- and C(5)-positions, indicate that the rotational barrier ΔG# separating the (2E,5Z)-2b and (2Z,5Z)-2b isomers is 100.2 kJ/mol (at 298 K). In a polar solvent-dependent equilibrium the major (2Z,5Z)-form (>90%) is stabilized by the intermolecular resonance-assisted hydrogen bonding and strong 1,5-type S · · · O interactions within the SCCCO entity. The 13C NMR ΔδC(2)C(2′) values, ranging from 58 to 69 ppm in 1ad and 49-58 ppm in 2ad, correlate with the degree of the push-pull character of the exocyclic C(2)C(2′) bond, which increases with the electron withdrawing ability of the substituents at the vinylic C(2′) position in the following order: COPh COEt > CONHPh > CONHCH2CH2Ph. The decrease of the ΔδC(2)C(2′) values in 2ad has been discussed for the first time in terms of an estimation of the electron donor capacity of the S fragment on the polarization of the CC bonds.  相似文献

Variation of the phases of Nd2NiO4+δ with the excess oxygen concentration δ has been examined at room temperature in the range 0.067≤δ≤0.224 using the X-ray powder diffraction technique. The phases observed at room temperature are orthorhombic-I (0.21<δ≤0.224), orthorhombic-IV (0.175<δ≤0.21), orthorhombic-II (0.15<δ≤0.175), orthorhombic-II+quasi-tetragonal-I (0.10<δ≤0.15), and quasi-tetragonal-I (0.067<δ≤0.10).  相似文献

Mo2Cl4 Pic 4·CHCl3 (A) (Pic=4-methylpyridine) and Mo2Br4 Pic 4 (B) crystallize in the monoclinic space group.A inC2/c (No. 15) witha=15.175 (4),b=10.847 (2),c=19.946 (6) and =104.52 (2)°;D o=1.71 (2),D c =1.72 gcm–3 forZ=4.B inP2l/n (No. 14) witha=9.270 (3),b=16.614 (5),c=9.305 (3) and =91.96 (5)°;D o=2.03 (3),D c =2.05 gcm–3 forZ=2.Two halogens and 4-methylpyridines of the MoX 2 Pic 2 group are in the trans position. Mo–Mo bond lengths are 2.153 96) forA and 2.150 92) forB. Both molecules are situated on the inversion center resulting in the eclipsed configuration of the ligands around the molybdenum pair. The structure ofB has been refined to the conventionalR factors of 0.08 and 0.098. Disorder on the part of 4-methylpyridines and chloroform molecules stopped the refinement ofA at the endR value of 0.175.Mean Mo–X and Mo–N bonding distances are 2.40 (2), 2.25 (5) forA and 2.53 (3), 2.25 (1) forB.

Summary The lithiation (Bu nLi/THF) of 2-chloro- (1), 3-chloro- (2) and 4-chlorobenzanilides (3) and the subsequent reactions of the corresponding bis-lithiated anilides4–6 with electrophiles (MeI, CH2=CH-CH2Br,Me 3SiCl,MeCHO,o-MeOC6H4CHO,p-MeOC6H4CHO,Me 2NCHO andp-MeOC6H4CONMe 2) towards the synthesis of theortho substituted chlorobenzoesic acids derivatives12–14 have been described. The effect of the chlorine substituent upon the generation and stability of the bis-lithiated chloro-anilides4–6 has been studied. It has been found that the bis-lithiated chloro-anilide5 derived fromm-chloro-benzanilide (2) at a temperature above –30°C converts into the corresponding benzyne9. The anilide moiety (masking group) of the formedortho-substituted chlorobenzanilides appeared to be effectively removable on acid-driven hydrolysis.

Zusammenfassung Die Lithiierung (Bu nLi/THF) der 2-Chlor-(1), 3-Chlor- (2) and 4-Chlorbenzanilide (3) und nachfolgende Reaktion der entsprechenden doppellithiierten Anilide4–6 mit elektrophilen Reagenzien (MeI, CH2=CH-CH2Br,Me 3SiCl,MeCHO,o-MeOC6H4CHO,p-MeOC6H4CHO,Me 2NCHO undp-MeOC6H4CONMe 2) zur Synthese vonortho-substituierten Benzoesäurederivaten12–14 wird beschrieben. Der Einfluß des Chlorsubstituierten auf die Bildung und Stabilität der doppellithiierten Chloranilide4–6 wurde untersucht. Es wurde festgestellt, daß das doppellithiierte, vomm-Chlorbenzanilid erhaltene Chloranilid5 bei Temperaturen über –30°C das entsprechende Arin9 bildet. Der Anilidrest (eine maskierende Gruppe) der gebildetenortho-substituierten Chloranilide kann durch saure Hydrolyse abgespalten werden.

Difluoro(germylthio)phosphine, PF2(SGeH3), has been prepared by the reaction of S(PF2)2 with GeH3Cl, and has been characterised by i.r.,Raman, n.m.r. and mass spectroscopy. Cleavage reactions with Cl2 and HBr, donor reactions of the phosphorus atom and exchange reactions with platinum complexes have been studied. The molecular structure of PF2(SGeH3) in the gas phase has been determined by electron diffraction. Principal parameters (r a) are:r(Ge–S) 225.6(4)pm;r(P–S) 211.5(8)pm;r(P–F) 159.0(9)pm; <(GeSP) 99.0(6)° <(SPF) 99.9(4)° <(FPF) 97.0(10)°. The conformation adopted is such that there are short non-bonded F...H contacts, with the PF2 group twisted 18° from the position in which the FPF angle bisector eclipses the Ge–S bond.

Zusammenfassung PF2(SGeH3) wurde über die Reaktion von S(PF2)2 mit GeH3Cl dargestellt und mittels IR,Raman, NMR and MS charakterisiert. Es wurden Spaltungs-reaktionen mit Cl2 und HBr, Donor-Reaktionen des Phosphor und Austausch-reaktionen mit Platinkomplexen untersucht. Die Molekülstruktur von PF2(SGeH3) in der Gasphase wurde mittels Elektronendiffraktion bestimmt. Die Hauptparameter (r a) sind:r(Ge–S) 225,6(4)pm;r(P–S) 211,5(8)pm;r(P–F) 159,0(9)pm; <(GeSP) 99,0(6)° <(SPF) 99,9(4)° <(FPF) 97,0(10)°.

The densities of tetraalkylammonium bromide, R4NBr (R = Et, Pr, Bu, Hex, Hep, Oct), solutions in dimethylformamide have been measured for the composition range (0.05–0.4) mol-kg−1 at 25 C. Apparent molar Vφ and limiting partial molar volumes 2o of the electrolytes have been evaluated. Using the extrapolation values, the limiting partial molar volumes of the tetraalkymammonium ions (io) have been calculated. Analysis of different contributions to the ionic io indicated partial penetration of solvent molecules into the van der Waal’s volume of tetraalkylammonium (TAA) ions.  相似文献

Li2O–Cr2O3–GeO2–P2O5 based glasses were synthesized by a conventional melt-quenching method and successfully converted into glass-ceramics through heat treatment. Experimental results of DTA, XRD, ac impedance techniques and FESEM indicated that Li1.4Cr0.4Ge1.6(PO4)3 glass-ceramics treated at 900 °C for 12 h in the Li1 + xCrxGe2 − x(PO4)3 (x = 0–0.8) system exhibited the best glass stability against crystallization and the highest ambient conductivity value of 6.81 × 10−4 S/cm with an activation energy as low as 26.9 kJ/mol. In addition, the Li1.4Cr0.4Ge1.6(PO4)3 glass-ceramics displayed good chemical stability against lithium metal at room temperature. The good thermal and chemical stability, excellent conducting property, easy preparation and low cost make it promising to be used as solid-state electrolytes for all-solid-state lithium batteries.  相似文献

The SrMn1−xFexO3−δ (x=1/3, 1/2, 2/3) phases have been prepared and are shown by powder X-ray and neutron (for x=1/2) diffraction to adopt an ideal cubic perovskite structure with a disordered distribution of transition-metal cations over the six-coordinate B-site. Due to synthesis in air, the phases are oxygen deficient and formally contain both Fe3+ and Fe4+. Magnetic susceptibility data show an antiferromagnetic transition at 180 and 140 K for x=1/3 and 1/2, respectively and a spin-glass transition at 5, 25, 45 K for x=1/3, 1/2 and 2/3, respectively. The magnetic properties are explained in terms of super-exchange interactions between Mn4+, Fe(4+δ)+ and Fe(3+)+. The XAS results for the Mn-sites in these compounds indicate small Mn-valence changes, however, the Mn-pre-edge spectra indicate increased localization of the Mn-eg orbitals with Fe substitution. The Mössbauer results show the distinct two-site Fe(3+)+/Fe(4+δ)+ disproportionation in the Mn- substituted materials with strong covalency effects at both sites. This disproportionation is a very concrete reflection of a localization of the Fe-d states due to the Mn-substitution.  相似文献

[2′,3′,5′,6′-2H4]-2-Hydroxynaringenin is synthesised and incubated with commercially available UDP-glucose and the crude protein extract from Desmoduim uncinatum leaves. The organic extract produces isotopically labelled [2′,3′,5′,6′-2H4]-vitexin and [2′,3′,5′,6′-2H4]-isovitexin. Repeating the experiment with denatured protein or replacing the 2-hydroxynaringenin with [2′,3′,5′,6′-2H4]-apigenin or [2′,3′,5′,6′-2H4]-naringenin results in no observable incorporation. 2-Hydroxynaringenin is therefore the substrate for C-glucosylflavonoid biosynthesis in D. uncinatum.  相似文献

Reaction of cis-[Mo(NCMe)2(CO)2(η5-L)][BF4] (L=C5H5 or C5Me5) with 1-acetoxybuta-1,3-diene gives the cationic complexes [Mo{η4-syn-s-cis-CH2CHCHCH(OAc)}(CO)2(η5-L)][BF4], which, on reaction with aqueous NaHCO3/CH2Cl2, afford good yields of the anti-aldehyde substituted complexes [Mo{η3-exo-anti-CH2CHCH(CHO)}(CO)2(η5-L)] 2 (L=C5Me5), 4 (L=C5H5)]. The corresponding η5-indenyl substituted complex 5 was prepared by protonation (HBF4·OEt2) of [Mo(η3-C3H5)(CO)2(η5-C9H7)] followed by addition of CH2=CHCH=CH(OAc) and hydrolysis (aq. NaHCO3/CH2Cl2). An X-ray crystallographic study of complex 2 confirmed the structure and showed that there is a contribution from a zwitterionic form involving donation of electron density from the molybdenum to the aldehyde carbonyl group. Treatment of 2 and 4, in methanol solution, with NaBH4 afforded the alcohols [Mo{η3-exo-anti-CH2CHCHCH2(OH)}(CO)2(η5-L)] [6 (L=C5H5), 8 (L=C5Me5)]; however, prolonged (30 h) reaction with NaBH4/MeOH surprisingly gave good yields of the methoxy-substituted complexes [Mo{η3-exo-anti-CH2CHCHCH2(OMe)}(CO)2(η5-L)] [7 (L=C5H5), 9 (L=C5Me5)], the structure of 7 being confirmed by single crystal X-ray crystallography. This methoxylation reaction can be explained by coordination of the hydroxyl group present in 6 and 8 onto B2H6 to form the potential leaving group HOBH3, which on ionisation affords [Mo(η4-exo-buta-1-3-diene)(CO)2(η5-L)]+ which is captured by reaction with OMe. Complex 8 is also formed in good yield on reaction of 2 with HBF4·OEt2 followed by treatment of the resulting cation [Mo{η4-exo-s-cis-syn-CH2CHCHCH(OH)}(CO)2(η5-C5Me5)][BF4] with Na[BH3CN]. Reaction of 4 with the Grignard reagents MeMgI, EtMgBr or PhMgCl afforded moderate yields of the alcohols [Mo{η3-exo-anti-CH2CHCHCH(OH)R}(CO)2(η5-C5H5)] [11 (R=Me), 12 (R=Et), 13 (R=Ph)]. Similarly, treatment of 2 with MeLi gave the corresponding alcohol 14. An attempt to carry out the Oppenauer oxidation [Al(OPr′)3/Me2CO] of 11 resulted in an elimination reaction and the formation of the η3-s-pentadienyl complex [Mo{η3-exo-anti-CH2CHCH(CHCH2)}(CO)2(η5-C5H5)], which was structurally identified by X-ray crystallography. Interestingly, oxidation of 6 with [Bu4nN][RuO4]/morpholine-N-oxide affords the aldehyde complex, 4 in good yield. Finally, reaction of 11 with [NO][BF4] followed by addition of Na2CO3 affords the fur-3-ene complex [Mo{η2-

Raman spectra of some solid and molten PCl5–ZrCl4 mixtures have been recorded. ZrCl6 2– complex ions accompanied by at least one more chlorozirconate species are present in the solid as well as in the melt. The newRaman frequencies are attributed to ZrCl5 , which fundamentals are given and assignment is proposed to be analogous to TiCl5 . The presence of ZrCl6 2– and ZrCl5 can be explained by the equilibrium ZrCl6 2–+PCl4 +ZrCl5 +PCl5.

The influence of NaClO4, NaCl and Na2SO4 on the oxidation of Fe(phen) 3 2+ by Ce(IV) was investigated by means of the stopped-flow method. At the concentrations range of NaClO4 and NaCl 0.1–1.0M the rate constant values decrease from 1.03·105 to 0.56·105M–1s–1 and from 1.08·105 to 0.81·105M–1s–1 respectively.In varying concentrations of Na2SO4 solutions (0.05–0.35M) the rate constant values decrease from 1.05·105M–1s–1 to 0.45·105M–1s–1.Taking into account the negative salt effect the mechanism of the reaction progress is proposed.

Infrared spectra of the title compounds with kröhnkite-type infinite octahedral–tetrahedral chains, K2Me(CrO4)2·2H2O (Me = Mg, Co, Ni, Zn, Cd), are presented in the regions of the uncoupled O–D stretching modes of matrix-isolated HDO molecules (isotopically dilute samples) and water librations. The strengths of the hydrogen bonds are discussed in terms of the respective OwO bond distances, the Me–water interactions (synergetic effect), the proton acceptor capability of the chromate oxygen atoms as deduced from Brown's bond valence sum of the oxygen atoms. The spectroscopic experiments reveal that hydrogen bonds of medium strength are formed in the chromates. The hydrogen bond strengths decrease in the order Cd > Zn > Ni > Co in agreement with the decreasing covalency of the respective Me–OH2 bonds in the same order, i.e. decreasing acidity of the water molecules. The infrared band positions corresponding to the water librations confirm the claim that the hydrogen bonds in K2Cd(CrO4)2·2H2O are stronger than those formed in K2Mg(CrO4)2·2H2O on one hand, and on the other—the hydrogen bonds in K2Ni(CrO4)2·2H2O are stronger than those in K2Co(CrO4)2·2H2O.  相似文献

Summary Theoretical calculation of95Mo-NMR chemical shifts for [MoO4–n S n ]2– (n=0–4) compounds is reported here for the first time on the basis of Fenske-Hall method and Sum-Over-State (SOS) perturbation theory. A systematic decrease in shielding of95Mo nuclei with increase of number of sulfur in [MoO4–n S n ]2–, which is observed experimentally, can be reasonably explained by our calculation. A good linear relationship between chemical shifts of calculation and experiment is obtained. The far-infrared spectra (350–35 cm–1) of gaseous ethyl methyl ether-d 0 and ethyl methyl-d 3-ether have been recorded at a resolution of 0.10 cm–1. For the d 0 species, the fundamental asymmetric torsion of the more stable trans conformer (two methyl moieties are trans to one another) has been observed at 115.40 cm–1 with four upper state transitions falling to lower frequency, whereas, for the gauche form, it has been observed at 93.56 cm–1 with two excited states falling to lower frequency. the corresponding series for the d 3 species start from 106.00 and 87.10 cm–1, respectively. From these data, the asymmetric torsional potential coefficients for the d 0 species have been determined to be: V 1 = 572 ± 30; V 2 = 85 ± 8; V 3 = 619 ± 30; V 4 = 175 ± 18, and V 6 = –28 ± 3 cm–1. The trans to gauche and gauche to gauche barriers were calculated to be 958 cm–1 (11.5 kJ/mol) and 631 cm–1 (7.55 kJ/mol), respectively, with an energy difference of 550 ± 6 cm–1 (6.58 ± 0.07 kJ/mol). Utilizing three conformer pairs, variable temperature studies (–105 to –150°C) of the infrared spectra of the d 0 sample dissolved in liquid krypton gave an enthalpy difference of 547 ± 28 cm–1 (6.54 ± 0.33 kJ/mol) with the trans conformer the more stable rotamer. It is estimated that there is only 4% of the gauche conformer present at ambient temperatures. The structural parameters, conformational stabilities, barriers to internal rotation, and fundamental vibrational frequencies, which have been determined experimentally, are compared to those obtained from ab initio gradient predictions from RHF/6-31G* and with full electron correlation at the MP2 level with three different basis sets. The adjusted r 0 structural parameters have been obtained for the trans conformer from combined ab initio MP2/6-311+G** predictions and previously reported microwave rotational constants. The reported distances should be accurate to 0.003 Å and the angles to 0.5°. These results are compared to the corresponding quantities obtained for some similar molecules.  相似文献

Assembly of 5-sulfosalicylic acid (H3L) and d10 transition metal ions (CdII, AgI) with the neutral N-donor ligands produces five new complexes: [Cd2(HL)2(4,4′-bipy)3]n·2nH2O (1), {[Cd2(μ2-HCO2)2(4,4′-bipy)2(H2O)4][Cd(HL)2(4,4′-bipy)(H2O)2]}n (2), {[Cd(4,4′-bipy)(H2O)4][HL]·H2O}n (3), [Cd(HL)(dpp)2(H2O)]n·4nH2O (4), {[Ag(4,4′-bipy)][Hhbs]}n (5) (4,4′-bipy=4,4′-bipyridine, dpp=1,3-di(pyridin-4-yl)propane, H2hbs=4-hydroxybenzenesulfonic acid, the decarboxylation product of H3L). Complex 1 adopts a 5-connected 3D bilayer topology. Complex 2 has the herring-bone and ladder chain, which are extended to a 3D network via hydrogen bonding. In 3–4 complexes, 3 is a 3D supermolecular structure formed by polymeric chains and 2D network of HL2−, while 4 gives the double-stranded chains. In 5, ladder arrays are stacked with the 2D networks of Hhbs anions in an –ABAB– sequence. Complexes 1–4 display green luminescences in solid state at room temperature, while emission spectra of 3 and 4 show obvious blue-shifts at low temperature.  相似文献
