采用线性组合算符和幺正变换方法,研究了非对称量子点中电子和体纵光学声子强耦合下束缚磁极化子的性质.得到了非对称量子点中强耦合束缚磁极化子的基态能量.讨论了量子点横向和纵向受限长度.磁极化子基态能量,电子-声子耦合强度和外界温度对磁极化子基态寿命的影响.由于电子-声子相互作用和外界温度的影响导致了量子体系的跃迁,即磁极化子吸收了声子的能量由摹态跃迁到激发态,造成极化子在基态的寿命发生变化.通过计算发现束缚磁极化子基态寿命随基态能量的增加而变大,随电子-声子耦合强度,量子点横向和纵向受限长度,外界温度的增加而变小.  相似文献

采用改进的线性组合算符和LLP变分法,研究了外磁场对量子阱中电子与界面光学声子强耦合、与体纵光学声子弱耦合磁极化子的有效质量的影响。对AgCl/KI量子阱进行了数值计算,结果表明,磁极化子的有效质量随阱宽的增加而减小,随磁场的增强而增大,但不同支声子与电子和磁场相互作用对磁极化子有效质量的贡献大不相同。  相似文献

采用线性组合算符和改进的LLP变分法,研究了在考虑电子自旋情况下无限深量子阱中弱耦合磁极化子的性质。导出了弱耦合磁极化子的声子平均数、基态能量和电子自旋能量与磁极化子基态能量之比的绝对值的表达式。并对两种不同阱材料的量子阱进行了数值计算,结果表明:磁极化子的声子平均数随电子-LO声子耦合常数和阱宽的增加而增大,并且最终随着阱宽的增加而趋于体情况下的极限值;由于电子自旋能的作用使磁极化子的基态能量由不考虑电子自旋下的一条分裂为两条,并且它随阱宽和电子-LO声子耦合常数的增加而减小,随回旋共振频率(磁场)的增加而增大。电子自旋作用能否忽略由回旋共振频率和阱材料本身的性质决定。  相似文献

采用线性组合算符和幺正变换方法研究了磁场对非对称Gaussian受限势量子阱中强耦合极化子的振动频率、基态能量和基态结合能的影响.计算结果表明振动频率随磁场的回旋频率的增加而增大,基态能量的绝对值和基态结合能随回旋频率的增加而减少.振动频率是Gaussian受限势量子阱的范围的减函数,而基态能量的绝对值和基态结合能是其增函数.由此,我们得出磁场和Gaussian受限势量子阱的范围是研究非对称Gaussian受限势量子阱中磁极化子性质的重要因素.  相似文献

采用线性组合算符及幺正变换方法研究了磁场对量子阱中弱耦合束缚极化子的性质的影响。导出了量子阱中束缚极化子的基态能量与振动频率、库仑束缚势、磁场和阱宽之间的变化关系。同时也讨论了振动频率与库仑束缚势、磁场之间的变化关系。通过数值计算结果表明:量子阱中束缚极化子的基态能量因振动频率、库仑束缚势、磁场和阱宽的不同而不同,它随振动频率和磁场的增加而增大,随库仑束缚势和阱宽的增大而减小。量子阱中束缚磁极化子的基态能量与振动频率无关,随库仑束缚势和阱宽的增大而减小,随磁场的增大而增大。  相似文献

本文基于Lee-Low-Pines幺正变换法,采用Tokuda改进的线性组合算符法研究了Rashba自旋-轨道相互作用效应下量子盘中强耦合磁极化子的性质.结果表明,磁极化子的相互作用能Eint的取值随量子盘横向受限强度ω0、外磁场的回旋频率ωc、电子-LO声子耦合强度α和量子盘厚度L的变化均与磁极化子的状态性质密切相关;磁极化子的平均声子数N随ωc,ω0和α的增加而增大,随L的增加而振荡减小;在Rashba自旋-轨道相互作用效应影响下磁极化子的有效质量将劈裂为m*+,m*-两种,它们随ωc,ω0和α的增加而增大,随L的增加而振荡减小;在研究量子盘中磁极化子问题时,电子-LO声子耦合和Rashba自旋-轨道相互作用效应的影响不可忽略,但Rashba自旋-轨道相互作用和极化子效应对磁极化子的影响只有在电子运动的速率较慢时显著.  相似文献

采用Pekar变分法和幺正变换相结合的方法研究了各向异性量子点中束缚磁极化子的Rashba效应和Zeeman效应.通过理论推导,得到束缚磁极化子基态能量的表达式.讨论了极化子基态能量与横向有效受限长度、纵向有效受限长度、磁场回旋共振频率、库仑束缚势的关系.由于晶体结构反演非对称性和时间反演非对称性,极化子能量发生Rashba自旋轨道分裂和Zeeman分裂.在强、弱磁场下,分别讨论了Zeeman效应和Rashba效应在能量分裂中所占的主导地位.由于声子和杂质的存在,极化子比裸电子态更稳定.  相似文献

采用Pekar类型的变分方法研究了抛物量子点中强耦合磁极化子的基态和激发态的性质。计算了基态和激发态磁极化子的束缚能以及磁极化子的共振频率。讨论了这些量对回旋频率和有效限制强度的依赖关系,以及磁极化子光学声子平均数的性质,结果表明:由于Zeeman劈裂,抛物量子点中磁极化子的回旋共振频率劈裂为两支。基态和激发态磁极化子的束缚能以及磁极化子的共振频率都随回旋频率的增加而增大,随量子点的有效束缚强度的增大而减小。  相似文献

Large adiabatic polarons in anisotropic crystals in the presence of constant magnetic field have been studied within the Holstein molecular crystal model in the continuum approximation. It was shown that magnetic field directed along the symmetry axis induces transverse confinement which may stabilize large polarons. They represent localized (soliton-like) nonlinear structure uniformly propagating along the symmetry axis and rotating around it in the same time. Such objects exist in 3D lattice provided that coupling constant and magnetic field do not exceed certain critical values. In contrast with pure 1D systems existence of large polarons is possible in a quite wider region of the values of coupling constant which may attain considerably higher values than in the pure 1D media. Furthermore, polaron effective mass, depending on the intensity of the applied magnetic field, may be considerably lighter than that of the the pure 1D polarons for the same values of coupling constant. This is the most significant difference with respect to pure 1D systems in the absence of magnetic field and may have substantial impact on polaron transport properties.  相似文献

Effect of the electron-lattice coupling on the ground state energies of shallow donors in a strong magnetic field is investigated for a few polar semiconductors. Extending the theory of Bajaj for bound polarons in the weak coupling limit, and using the ground state wave function of Yafet et al. for a shallow donor in a magnetic field, it is found that the coupling enhances the ground state energies. While this effect is negligible for most of the semiconductors, the results indicate softening of the coupling in a magnetic field.  相似文献

In Cd(0.8)Mn(0.2)Te, nonlinear photoluminescence (PL) appears only when localized excitons are selectively excited to high-density states. Here, the effect of a magnetic field is compared between nonlinear PL and PL due to localized magnetic polarons. Nonlinear PL shows a shift towards lower energy under an applied magnetic field, whereas PL of a localized magnetic polaron band shows a slight shift towards higher energy. The experimental results support the hypothesis that the origin of the nonlinear PL is a spin-aligned state of high-density exciton magnetic polarons. In the spin-aligned state, most spins of electrons (holes) in many magnetic polarons point in the same direction. In this new high-density photoexcited state, the s, p-d exchange interaction between photoexcited electrons (holes) and magnetic ions plays an important role.  相似文献

We report the study of Stark effect of polarons in infinite parabolic quantum wells under an electric field, taking into account the effects of interaction with bulk LO-phonons. The electron-phonon interaction and the.effective mass in the plane perpendicular to the growth direction for excited states of free polarons have been calculated as functions of the degree of confinement. The general behavior of the excited states is found to be in agreement with previous works on the ground state. It is shown that in the limit of strong confinement the differences in electron-phonon interaction and effective mass between the ground state and excited states vanish. Although the applied electric field has no effect on the electronphonon interaction or the effective mass of a free polaron system, our numerical results for an AlGaAs parabolic quantum well have demonstrated its significance in determining the coupling of electrons with bulk LO-phonons of bound polaron systems.  相似文献

研究磁场中束缚极化子有效质量的性质,采用改进的线性组合算符和变分法讨论了磁场中强、弱耦合极化子的振动频率和有效质量与磁场B和库仑势的关系。以RbCl晶体为例进行了数值计算,结果表明:强耦合束缚磁极化子的振动频率λ和有效质量m*随磁场B的增加而增大。弱耦合磁极化子的振动频率λ也随磁场的增加而增加,并且发现由于库仑势的存在,使得强耦合束缚磁极化子的振动频率λ和有效质量m*有所增大。弱耦合磁极化子的有效质量仅和耦合强度α有关。  相似文献

The temperature and magnetic-field dependences of the conductivity associated with hopping transport of holes over a 2D array of Ge/Si(001) quantum dots with various filling factors are studied experimentally. A transition from the Éfros-Shklovski? law for the temperature dependence of hopping conductivity to the Arrhenius law with an activation energy equal to 1.0–1.2 meV is observed upon a decrease in temperature. The activation energy for the low-temperature conductivity increases with the magnetic field and attains saturation in fields exceeding 4 T. It is found that the magnetoresistance in layers of quantum dots is essentially anisotropic: the conductivity decreases in an increasing magnetic field oriented perpendicularly to a quantum dot layer and increases in a magnetic field whose vector lies in the plane of the sample. The absolute values of magnetoresistance for transverse and longitudinal field orientations differ by two orders of magnitude. The experimental results are interpreted using the model of many-particle correlations of holes localized in quantum dots, which lead to the formation of electron polarons in a 2D disordered system.  相似文献

The quantum states and energy spectrum of an electron in a rectangular step quantum well in a magnetic field parallel to the plane of two-dimensional electronic gas are investigated. It is shown that the joint effect of a magnetic field and confining potential of quantum well results in radical change of the electron energy spectrum. The energy dependencies on the parameters of the quantum well and magnetic field induction are investigated. Numerical calculations are carried out for an AlAs/ GaAlAs/ GaAs/ AlAs step quantum well.  相似文献
