An algebra with bracket is an associative algebra A equipped with a bilinear operation [−,−] satisfying [a · b, c] = [a, cb+a · [b, c]. Our main result claims that the operad corresponding to algebras with bracket is Koszul.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A commutative algebra with the identity (a * b) * (c * d) ? (a * d) * (c * b) = (a, b, c) * d ? (a, d, c) * b is called Novikov–Jordan. Example: K[x] under multiplication a * b = ?(ab) is Novikov–Jordan. A special identity for Novikov–Jordan algebras of degree 5 is constructed. Free Novikov–Jordan algebras with q generators are exceptional for any q ≥ 1.

ABSTRACT

An algebra with identities a(bc)?=?b(ac), (ab)c?=?(ac)b is called bicommutative. We construct list of identities satisfied by commutator and anti-commutator products in a free bicommutative algebra. We give criterions for elements of a free bicommutative algebra to be Lie or Jordan.  相似文献

Let ? = ??, ?1(𝔖 n ) be the Hecke algebra of the symmetric group 𝔖 n . For partitions λ and ν with ν 2 ? regular, define the Specht module S(λ) and the irreducible module D(ν). Define d λν = [S(λ): D(ν)] to be the composition multiplicity of D(ν) in S(λ). In this paper we compute the decomposition numbers d λν for all partitions of the form λ = (a, c, 1 b ) and ν 2 ? regular.  相似文献

Let B be a Galois algebra over a commutative ring R with Galois group G such that B H is a separable subalgebra of B for each subgroup H of G. Then it is shown that B satisfies the fundamental theorem if and only if B is one of the following three types: (1) B is an indecomposable commutative Galois algebra, (2) B = Re ⊕ R(1 ? e) where e and 1 ? e are minimal central idempotents in B, and (3) B is an indecomposable Galois algebra such that for each separable subalgebra A, V B (A) = ?∑ gG(A) J g , and the centers of A and B G(A) are the same where V B (A) is the commutator subring of A in B, J g  = {b ∈ B | bx = g(x)b for each x ∈ B} for a g ∈ G, and G(A) = {g ∈ G | g(a) = a for all a ∈ A}.  相似文献

We examine a universal algebraic abstraction of the semigroup theoretic concept of “divides:” a divides b in an algebra A if for some n ∈ ω, there is a term t(x, y 1,…, y n ) involving all of the listed variables, and elements c 1,…, c n such that t A (a, c 1,…, c n ) = b. The first order definability of this relation is shown to be a very broad generalisation of some familiar congruence properties, such as definability of principal congruences. The algorithmic problem of deciding when a finitely generated variety has this relation definable is shown to be equivalent to an open problem concerning flat algebras. We also use the relation as a framework for establishing some results concerning the finite axiomatisability of finitely generated varieties.  相似文献

This paper gives a systematic study of matching dialgebras corresponding to the operad As (2) in Zinbiel (2012) as the only Koszul self dual operad there other than the operads of associative algebras and Poisson algebras. The close relationship of matching dialgebras with semi-homomorphisms and matched pairs of associative algebras are established. By anti-symmetrizing, matching dialgerbas are also shown to give compatible Lie algebras, pre-Lie algebras and PostLie algebras. By the rewriting method, the operad of matching dialgebras is shown to be Koszul and the free objects are constructed in terms of tensor algebras. The operadic complex computing the homology of the matching dialgebras is made explicit.  相似文献

In this paper, the authors study a class of generalized intersection matrix Lie algebras gim(Mn), and prove that its every finite-dimensional semisimple quotient is of type M(n, a, c, d). Particularly, any finite dimensional irreducible gim(Mn) module must be an irreducible module of Lie algebra of type M(n, a, c, d) and any finite dimensional irreducible module of Lie algebra of type M(n, a, c, d) must be an irreducible module of gim(Mn).  相似文献

Using Bre?ar and ?emrl approach, we give a proof of the extended Jacobson density theorem for Φ-derivations. Further, some applications on Banach algebras will be given. Precisely, for d being a continuous Φ-derivation on a given Banach algebra ?, we show that: d(?) ? rad (?) ? [b,[a, d(a)]] ∈ rad (?) for all a, b ∈ ? and d leaves invariant all maximal ideals of codimension one?for every a ∈ ? there exists a positive integer n such that (d(a)) n is quasi-nilpotent ? [d, Φ](?) ? rad (?) and d 2(a) ∈ rad (?) for all a ∈ ?. Finally, we characterize all pairs d, δ of continuous Φ-derivations such that dδ(a) is quasi-nilpotent for all a ∈ ? and [d, δ](?), [d, Φ](?), [δ,Φ](?) are subsets of rad (?).  相似文献

Analgebra (A, ∘) with the identity [a, b]∘c + [b, c]∘a + [c, a]∘b = 0, where [a, b] = ab−ba, is called 0-Alia. We prove that the algebra (ℂ[x], ∘) with multiplication ab = 2(2a∂(b)+(a)b) is a simple, exceptional 0-Alia algebra. We study certain groupoids generating Abelian, strongly Abelian, and Hamiltonian varieties. An algebra is Abelian if t( a,[`(c)] ) = t( a,[`(d)] ) ? t( b,[`(c)] ) = t( b,[`(d)] ) t\left( {a,\bar{c}} \right) = t\left( {a,\bar{d}} \right) \to t\left( {b,\bar{c}} \right) = t\left( {b,\bar{d}} \right) for any polynomial operation on the algebra and for all elements a, b, [`(c)] \bar{c} , [`(d)] \bar{d} . An algebra is strongly Abelian if t( a,[`(c)] ) = t( b,[`(d)] ) ? t( e,[`(c)] ) = t( e,[`(d)] ) t\left( {a,\bar{c}} \right) = t\left( {b,\bar{d}} \right) \to t\left( {e,\bar{c}} \right) = t\left( {e,\bar{d}} \right) for any polynomial operation on the algebra and for arbitrary elements a, b, e, [`(c)] \bar{c} , [`(d)] \bar{d} . An algebra is Hamiltonian if any subalgebra of the algebra is a congruence class. A variety is Abelian (strongly Abelian, Hamiltonian) if all algebras in a respective class are Abelian (strongly Abelian, Hamiltonian). We describe semigroups, groupoids with unity, and quasigroups generating Abelian, strongly Abelian, and Hamiltonian varieties.  相似文献

We use computer algebra to determine all the multilinear polynomial identities of degree ≤7 satisfied by the trilinear operations (a·bc and a·(b·c) in the free dendriform dialgebra, where a·b is the pre-Lie or the pre-Jordan product. For the pre-Lie triple products, we obtain one identity in degree 3, and three independent identities in degree 5, and we show that every identity in degree 7 follows from the identities of lower degree. For the pre-Jordan triple products, there are no identities in degree 3, five independent identities in degree 5, and ten independent irreducible identities in degree 7. Our methods involve linear algebra on large matrices over finite fields, and the representation theory of the symmetric group.  相似文献

For any field 𝕂 and integer n ≥ 2, we consider the Leavitt algebra L 𝕂(n); for any integer d ≥ 1, we form the matrix ring S = M d (L 𝕂(n)). S is an associative algebra, but we view S as a Lie algebra using the bracket [a, b] = ab ? ba for a, b ∈ S. We denote this Lie algebra as S ?, and consider its Lie subalgebra [S ?, S ?]. In our main result, we show that [S ?, S ?] is a simple Lie algebra if and only if char(𝕂) divides n ? 1 and char(𝕂) does not divide d. In particular, when d = 1, we get that [L 𝕂(n)?, L 𝕂(n)?] is a simple Lie algebra if and only if char(𝕂) divides n ? 1.  相似文献

Let A be a Frobenius Koszul algebra such that its Koszul dual A ! is a quantum polynomial algebra. Co-point modules over A were defined as dual notion of point modules over A ! with respect to the Koszul duality. In this article, we will see that various important functors between module categories over A used in representation theory of finite dimensional algebras send co-point modules to co-point modules. As a consequence, we will show that if (E, σ) is a geometric pair associated to A !, then the map σ:E → E is an automorphism of the point scheme E of A !, so that there is a bijection between isomorphism classes of left point modules over A ! and those of right point modules over A !.  相似文献

We consider two analogues of associativity for ternary algebras: total and partial associativity. Using the corresponding ternary associators, we define ternary analogues of alternative and assosymmetric algebras. On any ternary algebra the alternating sum [abc] = abc − acb − bac + bca + cab − cba (the ternary analogue of the Lie bracket) defines a structure of an anticommutative ternary algebra. We determine the polynomial identities of degree ?7 satisfied by this operation in totally and partially associative, alternative, and assosymmetric ternary algebras. These identities define varieties of ternary algebras which can be regarded as ternary analogues of Lie and Malcev algebras. Our methods involve computational linear algebra based on the representation theory of the symmetric group.  相似文献

Let R be a noncommutative prime ring of characteristic different from 2 with Utumi quotient ring U and extended centroid C, and f(x1,…, xn) be a multilinear polynomial over C, which is not central valued on R. Suppose that F and G are two generalized derivations of R and d is a nonzero derivation of R such that d(F(f(r))f(r) ? f(r)G(f(r))) = 0 for all r = (r1,…, rn) ∈ Rn, then one of the following holds:
  1. There exist a, p, q, c ∈ U and λ ∈C such that F(x) = ax + xp + λx, G(x) = px + xq and d(x) = [c, x] for all x ∈ R, with [c, a ? q] = 0 and f(x1,…, xn)2 is central valued on R;

  2. There exists a ∈ U such that F(x) = xa and G(x) = ax for all x ∈ R;

  3. There exist a, b, c ∈ U and λ ∈C such that F(x) = λx + xa ? bx, G(x) = ax + xb and d(x) = [c, x] for all x ∈ R, with b + αc ∈ C for some α ∈C;

  4. R satisfies s4 and there exist a, b ∈ U and λ ∈C such that F(x) = λx + xa ? bx and G(x) = ax + xb for all x ∈ R;

  5. There exist a′, b, c ∈ U and δ a derivation of R such that F(x) = ax + xb ? δ(x), G(x) = bx + δ(x) and d(x) = [c, x] for all x ∈ R, with [c, a′] = 0 and f(x1,…, xn)2 is central valued on R.

In this work, we investigate some groupoids that are Abelian algebras and Hamiltonian algebras. An algebra is Abelian if for every polynomial operation and for all elements a, b, [`(c)] \bar{c} , [`(d)] \bar{d} the implication t( a,[`(c)] ) = t( a,[`(d)] ) T t( b,[`(c)] ) = t( b,[`(d)] ) t\left( {a,\bar{c}} \right) = t\left( {a,\bar{d}} \right) \Rightarrow t\left( {b,\bar{c}} \right) = t\left( {b,\bar{d}} \right) holds. An algebra is Hamiltonian if every subalgebra is a block of some congruence on the algebra. R. J. Warne in 1994 described the structure of the Abelian semigroups. In this work, we describe the Abelian groupoids with identity, the Abelian finite quasigroups, and the Abelian semigroups S such that abS = aS and Sba = Sa for all a, bS. We prove that a finite Abelian quasigroup is a Hamiltonian algebra. We characterize the Hamiltonian groupoids with identity and semigroups under the condition of Abelianity of these algebras.  相似文献

We prove that the Lie algebra of skew-symmetric elements of the free associative algebra of rank 2 with respect to the standard involution is generated as a module by the elements [a, b] and [a, b]3, where a and b are Jordan polynomials. Using this result we prove that the Lie algebra of Jordan derivations of the free Jordan algebra of rank 2 is generated as a characteristic F-module by two derivations. We show that the Jordan commutator s-identities follow from the Glennie-Shestakov s-identity.  相似文献

We introduce degree n Sabinin algebras, which are defined by the polynomial identities up to degree n in a Sabinin algebra. Degree 4 Sabinin algebras can be characterized by the polynomial identities satisfied by the commutator, associator, and two quaternators in the free nonassociative algebra. We consider these operations in a free power associative algebra and show that one of the quaternators is redundant. The resulting algebras provide the natural structure on the tangent space at the identity element of an analytic loop for which all local loops satisfy monoassociativity, a 2 a ≡ aa 2. These algebras are the next step beyond Lie, Malcev, and Bol algebras. We also present an identity of degree 5 which is satisfied by these three operations but which is not implied by the identities of lower degree.  相似文献

Let A be a von Neumann algebra with no central abelian projections. It is proved that if an additive map δ :A → A satisfies δ([[a, b], c]) = [[δ(a), b], c] + [[a, δ(b)], c] +[[a, b], δ(c)] for any a, b, c∈ A with ab = 0(resp. ab = P, where P is a fixed nontrivial projection in A), then there exist an additive derivation d from A into itself and an additive map f :A → ZA vanishing at every second commutator [[a, b], c] with ab = 0(resp.ab = P) such that δ(a) = d(a) + f(a) for any a∈ A.  相似文献
