We define the concept of a regular object with respect to another object in an arbitrary category. We present basic properties
of regular objects and we study this concept in the special cases of abelian categories and locally finitely generated Grothendieck
categories. Applications are given for categories of comodules over a coalgebra and for categories of graded modules, and
a link to the theory of generalized inverses of matrices is presented. Some of the techniques we use are new, since dealing
with arbitrary categories allows us to pass to the dual category.

We recognize Harada’s generalized categories of diagrams as a particular case of modules over a monad defined on a finite direct product of additive categories. We work in the dual (albeit formally equivalent) situation, that is, with comodules over comonads. With this conceptual tool at hand, we obtain several of the Harada results with simpler proofs, some of them under more general hypothesis, besides with a characterization of the normal triangular matrix comonads that are hereditary, that is, of homological dimension less than or equal to 1. Our methods rest on a matrix representation of additive functors and natural transformations, which allows us to adapt typical algebraic manipulations from Linear Algebra to the additive categorical setting. 相似文献

In this paper we give a complete classification of pointed fusion categories over ? of global dimension 8. We first classify the equivalence classes of pointed fusion categories of dimension 8, and then we proceed to determine which of these equivalence classes have equivalent categories of modules following the procedure presented in [9, 11]. of the congruence Hecke algebras is proven. Let U be congruence subgroup and
(G; U) be the category of smooth representations of G generated by their U-fixed vectors. We also show that this subcategory is closed under taking subquotients. All these results are analogues of
well-known results in the case of p-adic groups. It is also shown that the category of admissible representation of G is Noetherian in the sense that every subrepresentation of a finitely generated admissible representation is again finitely

Let 𝒞 be a triangulated category. When ω is a functorially finite subcategory of 𝒞, Jøtrgensen showed that the stable category 𝒞/ω is a pretriangulated category. A pair (𝒳, 𝒴) of subcategories of 𝒞 with ω ? 𝒳 ∩ 𝒴 gives rise to a pair (𝒳/ω, 𝒴/ω) of subcategories of 𝒞/ω. In this article, we find conditions for (𝒳/ω, 𝒴/ω) to be a torsion pair in terms of properties of the pair (𝒳, 𝒴). In particular, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for (𝒳/ω, 𝒴/ω) to be a torsion pair in the stable category 𝒞/ω when τω = ω, where τ is the Auslander–Reiten translation. 相似文献
