The c-differential uniformity is recently proposed to reflect resistance against some variants of differential attack. Finding functions with low c-differential uniformity is attracting attention from many researchers. For even characteristic, it is known that permutations of low Carlitz rank have good cryptographic parameters, for example, low differential uniformity, high nonlinearity, etc. In this paper we show that permutations with low Carlitz rank have low c-differential uniformity. We also investigate c-differential uniformity of permutations with Carlitz rank 3 in detail. 相似文献

An artin algebra A is said to be CM-finite if there are only finitely many, up to isomorphisms, indecomposable finitely generated Gorenstein-projective A-modules. We prove that for a Gorenstein artin algebra, it is CM-finite if and only if every its Gorenstein-projective module is a direct sum of finitely generated Gorenstein-projective modules. A subset K of some group C is called twisted if 1 ∈ K and x, y ∈ K implies that xy ?1 x belongs to K. We use the concept of twisted subset to investigate and generalize the concept of involutory decomposition of a group. A group is said to admit involutory decomposition if it contains some involution such that the group is the product of the centralizer of the involution and the set of elements inverted by the involution. We study the twisted subsets with at most one involution. We prove that if a twisted subset has no involutions at all then it generates a subgroup of odd order. 相似文献

We study a family of orthogonal polynomials which generalizes a sequence of polynomials considered by L. Carlitz. We show that they are a special case of the Sheffer polynomials and point out some interesting connections with certain Sobolev orthogonal polynomials. 相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to calculate all the character tables of Hecke algebras associated with finite Chevalley groups of exceptional type and their maximal parabolic subgroups when they are commutative. In the case when the groups are of classical type, the character values of Hecke algebras are expressed by using the q-Krawtchouk polynomials and the q-Hahn polynomials (See [10] and [15]). On the other hand, the character tables of commutative Hecke algebras associated with exceptional Weyl groups and their maximal parabolic subgroups are given in [12]. In §1, we discuss the structure of Hecke algebras and in §2, we calculate all the character tables of these commutative Hecke algebras associated with finite Chevalley groups of exceptional type.
