The theory of L-R smash product is extended to multiplier Hopf algebras and a sufficient condition for L-R smash product to be regular multiplier Hopf algebras is given. In particular, the result of the paper implies Delvaux's main theorem in the case of smash products.  相似文献

We present a general construction producing a unitary corepresentation of a multiplier Hopf algebra in itself and study RR-corepresentations of twisted tensor coproduct multiplier Hopf algebra. Then we investigate some properties of functors, integrals and morphisms related to the categories of the crossed modules and covariant modules over multiplier Hopf algebras. By doing so, we can apply our theory to the case of group-cograded multiplier Hopf algebras, in particular, the case of Hopf group-coalgebras.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a generalized Hopf Galois theory for regular multiplier Hopf algebras with integrals, which might be viewed as a generalization of the Hopf Galois theory of finite-dimensional Hopf algebras. We introduce the notion of a coaction of a multiplier Hopf algebra on an algebra. We show that there is a duality for actions and coactions of multiplier Hopf algebras with integrals. In order to study the Galois (co)action of a multiplier Hopf algebra with an integral, we construct a Morita context connecting the smash product and the coinvariants. A Galois (co)action can be characterized by certain surjectivity of a canonical map in the Morita context. Finally, we apply the Morita theory to obtain the duality theorems for actions and coactions of a co-Frobenius Hopf algebra.  相似文献

Pairing and Quantum Double of Multiplier Hopf Algebras   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
We define and investigate pairings of multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras which are nonunital generalizations of Hopf algebras. Dual pairs of multiplier Hopf algebras arise naturally from any multiplier Hopf algebra A with integral and its dual Â. Pairings of multiplier Hopf algebras play a basic rôle, e.g., in the study of actions and coactions, and, in particular, in the relation between them. This aspect of the theory is treated elsewhere. In this paper we consider the quantum double construction out of a dual pair of multiplier Hopf algebras. We show that two dually paired regular multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras A and B yield a quantum double which is again a regular multiplier Hopf (*-)algebra. If A and B have integrals, then the quantum double also has an integral. If A and B are Hopf algebras, then the quantum double multiplier Hopf algebra is the usual quantum double. The quantum double construction for dually paired multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras yields new nontrivial examples of multiplier Hopf (*-)algebras.  相似文献

Let B be a braided Hopf algebra (with bijective antipode) in the category of left Yetter-Drinfeld modules over a quasi-Hopf algebra H. As in the case of Hopf algebras (J. Algebra 92 (1985) 322), the smash product B#H defined in (Comm. Algebra 28(2) (2000) 631) and a kind of smash coproduct afford a quasi-Hopf algebra structure on BH. Using this, we obtain the structure of quasi-Hopf algebras with a projection. Further we will use this biproduct to describe the Majid bosonization (J. Algebra 163 (1994) 165) for quasi-Hopf algebras.  相似文献

The smash coproduct coalgebra has been generalized to crossed coproduct coalgebra in [3]. It is natural to replace the smash coproduct by the crossed coproduct and consider the conditions under which the smash product algebra structure and the crossed coproduct coalgebra structure will inherit a bialgebra structure or a Hopf algebra structure. We derive necessary and sufficient conditions for this problem. This generalizes the corresponding results in [7]. Finally, we characterize this new structure by introducing a concept of (H, )-comodule and prove that Heisenberg double [4] and smash coproduct do not make a bialgebra.AMS Subject Classification (1991): 16S40 16W30The first and second authors were partially supported by NNSF of China. A Hopf algebra is a pair (A, Δ) whereAis an associative algebra with identity andΔa homomorphism formAtoAAsatisfying certain conditions. If we drop the assumption thatAhas an identity and if we allowΔto have values in the so-called multiplier algebraM(AA), we get a natural extension of the notion of a Hopf algebra. We call this a multiplier Hopf algebra. The motivating example is the algebra of complex functions with finite support on a group with the comultiplication defined as dual to the product in the group. Also for these multiplier Hopf algebras, there is a natural notion of left and right invariance for linear functionals (called integrals in Hopf algebra theory). We show that, if such invariant functionals exist, they are unique (up to a scalar) and faithful. For a regular multiplier Hopf algebra (A, Δ) (i.e., with invertible antipode) with invariant functionals, we construct, in a canonical way, the dual (Â, Δ). It is again a regular multiplier Hopf algebra with invariant functionals. It is also shown that the dual of (Â, Δ) is canonically isomorphic with the original multiplier Hopf algebra (A, Δ). It is possible to generalize many aspects of abstract harmonic analysis here. One can define the Fourier transform; one can prove Plancherel's formula. Because any finite-dimensional Hopf algebra is a regular multiplier Hopf algebra and has invariant functionals, our duality theorem applies to all finite-dimensional Hopf algebras. Then it coincides with the usual duality for such Hopf algebras. But our category of multiplier Hopf algebras also includes, in a certain way, the discrete (quantum) groups and the compact (quantum) groups. Our duality includes the duality between discrete quantum groups and compact quantum groups. In particular, it includes the duality between compact abelian groups and discrete abelian groups. One of the nice features of our theory is that we have an extension of this duality to the non-abelian case, but within one category. This is shown in the last section of our paper where we introduce the algebras of compact type and the algebras of discrete type. We prove that also these are dual to each other. We treat an example that is sufficiently general to illustrate most of the different features of our theory. It is also possible to construct the quantum double of Drinfel'd within this category. This provides a still wider class of examples. So, we obtain many more than just the compact and discrete quantum within this setting.  相似文献

Let G be a group and assume that (A p ) pG is a family of algebras with identity. We have a Hopf G-coalgebra (in the sense of Turaev) if, for each pair p,qG, there is given a unital homomorphism Δ p,q : A pq A p A q satisfying certain properties. Consider now the direct sum A of these algebras. It is an algebra, without identity, except when G is a finite group, but the product is non-degenerate. The maps Δ p,q can be used to define a coproduct Δ on A and the conditions imposed on these maps give that (A,Δ) is a multiplier Hopf algebra. It is G-cograded as explained in this paper. We study these so-called group-cograded multiplier Hopf algebras. They are, as explained above, more general than the Hopf group-coalgebras as introduced by Turaev. Moreover, our point of view makes it possible to use results and techniques from the theory of multiplier Hopf algebras in the study of Hopf group-coalgebras (and generalizations). In a separate paper, we treat the quantum double in this context and we recover, in a simple and natural way (and generalize) results obtained by Zunino. In this paper, we study integrals, in general and in the case where the components are finite-dimensional. Using these ideas, we obtain most of the results of Virelizier on this subject and consider them in the framework of multiplier Hopf algebras. Presented by Ken Goodearl.  相似文献

Abstract

This paper, mainly gives a Fundamental Theorem of weak Doi–Hopf modules, which is not only generalizes the Fundamental Theorem of weak Hopf modules but also generalizes the Fundamental Theorem of relative Hopf modules. Moreover, it gives a sufficient and necessary condition for weak smash product algebras to be weak bialgebras, and a sufficient condition for weak smash product algebras to be semisimple weak Hopf algebras.  相似文献

Weak Hopf Algebra in Yetter-Drinfeld Categories and Weak Biproducts   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2

The Yetter-Drinfeld category of the Hopf algebra over a field is a pre braided category. In this paper we prove this result for the weak Hopf algebra. We study the smash product and smash coproduct, weak biproducts in the weak Hopf algebra over a field k. For a weak Hopf algebra A in left Yetter-Drinfeld category HHYD. we prove that the weak biproducts of A and H is a weak Hopf algebra.  相似文献

Let A be a regular multiplier Hopf algebra with integrals. The dual of A, denoted by Â, is a multiplier Hopf algebra so that Â,A is a pairing of multiplier Hopf algebras. We consider the Drinfel'd double, DAcop, associated to this pair. We prove that D is a quasitriangular multiplier Hopf algebra. More precisely, we show that the pair Â,A has a “canonical multiplier” WMA). The image of W in M(DD) is a generalized R-matrix for D. We use this image of W to deform the product of the dual multiplier Hopf algebra via the right action of D on which defines the pair . As expected from the finite-dimensional case, we find that the deformation of the product in is related to the Heisenberg double A#Â.  相似文献

We consider two new algebras from an H-biquasimodule algebra A and a Hopf quasigroup H: twisted smash product A ? H and L-R smash product A?H, and find necessary and sufficient conditions for making them Hopf quasigroups. We generalize the main results in Brzeziński and Jiao [5] and Klim and Majid [9]. Moreover, if H is a cocommutative Hopf quasigroup, we prove that A ? H is isomorphic to A?H as Hopf quasigroups.  相似文献

Let A and B be multiplier Hopf algebras, and let R ∈ M(B ? A) be an anti-copairing multiplier, i.e, the inverse of R is a skew-copairing multiplier in the sense of Delvaux [5 Delvaux , L. ( 2004 ). Twisted tensor coproduct of multiplier Hopf (*)-algebras . J. Algebra 274 : 751771 . [Google Scholar]]. Then one can construct a twisted tensor coproduct multiplier Hopf algebra A ? R  B. Using this, we establish the correspondence between the existence of quasitriangular structures in A ? R  B and the existence of such structures in the factors A and B. We illustrate our theory with a profusion of examples which cannot be obtained by using classical Hopf algebras. Also, we study the class of minimal quasitriangular multiplier Hopf algebras and show that every minimal quasitriangular Hopf algebra is a quotient of a Drinfel’d double for some algebraic quantum group.  相似文献

Let B be a regular multiplier Hopf algebra. Let A be an algebra with a non-degenerate multiplication such that A is a left B-module algebra and a left B-comodule algebra. By the use of the left action and the left coaction of B on A, we determine when a comultiplication on A makes A into a “B-admissible regular multiplier Hopf algebra.” If A is a B-admissible regular multiplier Hopf algebra, we prove that the smash product A # B is again a regular multiplier Hopf algebra. The comultiplication on A # B is a cotwisting (induced by the left coaction of B on A) of the given comultiplications on A and B. When we restrict to the framework of ordinary Hopf algebra theory, we recover Majid’s braided interpretation of Radford’s biproduct. Presented by K. Goodearl.  相似文献

In this article we lay the algebraic foundations to establish the existence of trace functions on infinite-dimensional (multiplier) Hopf algebras. We solve the problem within the framework of multiplier Hopf algebra with integrals. By applying this theory to group-cograded multiplier Hopf algebras, we prove the existence of group-traces on group-cograded multiplier Hopf algebras with possibly infinite-dimensional components. We generalize the results as obtained by Virelizier in the case of finite-type Hopf group-coalgebras.  相似文献

In this paper we generalize the notions of crossed products and L-R smash products in the context of multiplier Hopf algebras. We use comodule algebras to define generalized diagonal crossed products, L-R smash products, two-sided smash products and two-sided crossed products and prove that they are all associative algebras. Then we show the isomorphic relations of them.  相似文献
