Doubly charged NH 3 ++ cations were produced by double photoionization of neutral ammonia molecules by using the synchrotron radiation from ACO as a photon source of variable energy in the 35–49 eV energy range. The fragmentation of NH 3 ++ was studied by the photoion-photoion coincidence (PIPICO) method. NH 3 ++ cations were produced in the \(\tilde X^1 \) A 1 and \(\tilde B^1 \) electronic states of which the onset energies were measured at, respectively, 35.4±0.5 eV and 44.5±0.5 eV. It was shown that the NH 3 ++ ions, initially produced in their \(\tilde X^1 \) A 1 state, rapidly dissociate (in less than 50 ns), into NH 2 + + H+. Furthermore, the comparison with results obtained by other methods indicates that NH 3 ++ ions can either be long-lived (τ>10 µs) or slowly dissociating (1 µs<τ<10 µs) or rapidly dissociating (τ<50 ns), depending on their geometry and/or internal energy in their \(\tilde X^1 \) E A 1 electronic state.  相似文献

The luminescence spectra of the polycrystalline compounds [Cr(CH2NH2COO)3 · H2O] and [Cr2(OH)2(CH2NH2COO)4] are investigated in the temperature range of 120K – 4.2K. From the known crystal structure (P21/c =D 2h /5 ) of the mononuclear compound assignment of the zero-phonon bands based on crystal field theory becomes possible. Both of the highly intense phosphorescence transitions are observed at \(P_1 = 14493 cm^{ - 1} ({}^2A'' \xrightarrow{{0.0}} {}^4A) and P_2 = 14428 cm^{ - 1} ({}^2A' \xrightarrow{{0.0}} {}^4A)\) . Assignment of the accompanying vibronic bands is made from the measured infrared data. Crystal field parameters Dq, B and C are determined from the luminescence and reflectance spectra. In the case of the binuclear compound the Cr3+-Cr3+ interaction via hydroxyl brides may be described by an axchange operator \(H_{ex} = - 2 \sum\limits_{ij} {J_{ij} S_i^a \cdot S_j^a } \) and from this the energy level diagram is calculated. Both observed strong phosphorescence bands at 14369 cm?1 and 14184 cm?1 are assigned to \(\left| {{}^2E \cdot {}^4A_2 \rangle _{s = 2} \xrightarrow{{0.0}}} \right| {}^4A_2 \cdot {}^4A_2 \rangle _{s = 2} and \left| {{}^2E \cdot {}^4A_2 \rangle _{s = 1} \xrightarrow{{0.0}}} \right| {}^4A_2 \cdot {}^4A_2 \rangle _{s = 1} \) transitions.  相似文献

The solubility of carefully characterized magnetite, Fe3O4, in dilute aqueous solutions saturated with H2 has been measured at temperatures from 100 to 300°C in a flow apparatus. Solution compositions included either HCl or NaOH molalities of up to 1 and 40 mmole-kg?1, respectively, and H2 molalities of 0.0779, 0.779, and 8.57 mmole-kg?1. The dependence of the equilibrium solubility on the pH and reduction potential were fitted to a scheme of soluble ferrous and ferric species consisting of Fe2+, FeOH+, Fe(OH)2, Fe(OH) 3 ? , Fe(OH)3, and Fe(OH) 4 ? . Solubility products from the fit, corresponding to the reactions $$\tfrac{1}{3}Fe_3 O_4 + (2 - b)H^ + + \tfrac{1}{3}H_2 \rightleftharpoons Fe(OH)_b^{2 - b} + (4/3 - b)H_2 O$$ and $$\tfrac{1}{3}Fe_3 O_4 + (3 - b)H^ + \rightleftharpoons Fe(OH)_b^{3 - b} + \tfrac{1}{6}H_2 + (4/3 - b)H_2 O$$ were used to derive thermodynamic constants for each species. The extrapolared value for the Gibbs energy of formation of Fe2+ at 25°C is ?88.92±2.0 kJ-mole?1, consistent with standard reduction potentials in the range Eo(Fe2+)=?0.47±0.01 V. The temperature coefficient of the equilibrium Fe molality, (?m(Fe, sat.)/?T)m(H2).m(NaOH), changes from negative to positive as the NaOH molality is increased to the point where Fe(OH) 3 ? and Fe(OH) 4 ? predominate.  相似文献

The temperature dependencies of europium carbonate stability constants were examined at 15, 25, and 35°C in 0.68 molal Na+(ClO 4 ? , HCO 3 ? ) using a tributyl phosphate solvent extration technique. Partial volumes $\bar V^0$ of amino acids in aqueous NH4Cl and NaCl solutions are discussed. The salts have different effects on water structure. The contributions of the charged NH 3 + and COO? groups of amino acids are found. Structural characteristics of hydrated complexes are calculated: partial volumes of water inside and outside the hydration sphere and hydration numbers. The same value of $\bar V^0$ (NH 3 + , COO?) is achieved at a higher NH4Cl concentration. The two salt systems with the same $\bar V^0$ (NH 3 + , COO?) have similar values of the partial volumes of water and hydration numbers.  相似文献

Thermodynamic treatment of the experimental data on the extraction of quadrivalent Pu, U, Th and Zr with tri-n-butyl phosphate (TBP) from nitric acid solutions is presented. It is shown that the extraction of all the quadrivalent metals studied is going according to the same mechanism: M(OH)4?i+(4?i)NO 3 ? +2TBP?M(OH)i(NO3)4?i·2 TBP. For Zr, i=0, 1, and 2; for the remaining M(IV), i=0 and 1. The thermodynamic constants of extraction of M(IV) with the kerosene solutions of TBP according to the above mentioned equation are as follows: Zr: K 0 0 =0.6; K 1 0 =14; K 2 0 =5. Pu: K 0 0 =380; K 1 0 =4.8·104. U: K 0 0 =300; K 1 0 =1.8·104. Th: K 0 0 ~150. It has been established that Zr and Pu(IV) are extracted into 2-thenoyltrifluoracetone (HA) from perchloric acid solutions under the formation of MA4 and M(ClO4)A3 species. For the extraction from nitric acid solutions, the species formed are ZrA4 and Zr(NO3)A3 in the case of Zr, PuA4 and Pu(OH)A3 in the case of Pu. The differences in the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the extraction of M(IV) with TBP and HA from nitric and perchloric acids are explained by the effect of the character of the acid and of ionic potential upon the structure of the hydration shell of M aq 4+ .  相似文献

The apparent molal volumes (φv) and adiabatic compressibilities [φK(S)] of La2(SO4)3 solutions have been determined from density and sound speed data at 25°C. The large positive deviations of φv and φK(S) of La2(SO4)3 from the limiting law have been attributed to the formation of the ion pair LaSO 4 + . The observed values of φv and φK(S) have been used to estimate the change in the apparent molal volume and adiabatic compressibility for the formation of LaSO 4 + from $$\Delta \phi (LaSO_4^ + ) = [\phi (obs.) - \phi (2La^{3 + } ,3SO_4^{2 - } )]/\alpha$$ where ?(2La3+, 3SO 4 2? ) is the apparent molal volume or adiabatic compressibility of the free ions, and α is the degree of association. The value of \(\Delta \phi _v^o (LaSO_4^ + ) = \Delta \bar V^o (LaSO_4^ + ) = 22.8 \pm 1cm^3 - mole^{ - 1}\) and \(\Delta \phi _{K(S)}^o (LaSO_4^ + ) = \Delta \bar K_S^o (LaSO_4^ + ) = 85 \pm 20 \times 10^{ - 4} cm^3 - mole^{ - 1} - bar^{ - 1}\) at infinite dilution are in reasonable agreement with the values determined from the high-pressure conductance data of Fisher and Davis. The number of hydrated water molecules (ca. 11) associated with the formation of LaSO 4 + determined from the volume and compressibility data are in good agreement.  相似文献

We perform in this work a comprehensive first-principles investigation on the geometric and electronic structures of Au(BO) 2 ? and Au(BS) 2 ? which are valent isoelectronic to the well-known Au(CN) 2 ? monoanion. Au(BO) 2 ? and Au(BS) 2 ? complexes prove to possess linear ground-state structures similar to Au(CN) 2 ? and the BO? and BS? ligands in them are found to be coordinated terminally via boron atoms to gold centers which are weakly negatively charged. Au–B bonds in Au(BO) 2 ? and Au(BS) 2 ? appear to have higher Wiberg bond indices (0.79 and 0.80) and more covalent components (60 and 53 %) than the corresponding values of Au–C interaction in Au(CN) 2 ? (0.67 and 39 %, respectively) at the same theoretical levels. Their Au–B bifurcation values of the electronic localization function also turn out to be higher than Au–C. These results strongly suggest that the Au–B bonds in Au(BO) 2 ? and Au(BS) 2 ? with multiple-bond character possess stronger covalent characters than Au–C in Au(CN) 2 ? .  相似文献

The structure of premixisterone (I) — a new ecdysteroid fromS. praemixta M. Pop. (Caryophyllaceae) — has been established. Compound (I) has the composition C27H44O5, mp 110–112°C (from C2H5OH + H2O), [α] D 24 0 ± 4° (c 0.85; MeOH), \(\lambda _{\max }^{{\text{C}}_{\text{2}} {\text{H}}_{\text{5}} {\text{OH}}}\) 202 nm (log ? 3.35), ν max KBr 3415 cm?1 (OH), 1710 cm?1 (C=0), and does not contain the δ7-6-keto grouping that is characteristic of natural ecdysteroids. The acetylation of (I) with (CH3CO)2 in Py gave the amorphous 3,22-diacetylpremixisterone (II), C21H48O7. Compound (I) has the structure of 3β,14α,22R,25-tetrahydroxy-5β-cholest-8-en-6-one. The dependences of anion (phosphate, carbonate, sulfate, chromate, oxalate, tartrate, and citrate) adsorption affinity anions from geometric characteristics, acid-base properties, and complex forming ability are generalized. It is shown that adsorption depends on the nature of both the anions and the ionic medium and adsorbent. It is established that anions are generally grouped into the following series of adsorption affinity reduction: PO 4 3? , CO 3 2? > C2O 4 2? , C(OH)(CH2)2(COO) 3 3? , (CHOH)2(COO) 2 2? > CrO 4 2? ? The hydrolytic behavior of La, Nd, Eu, Gd, Ho, and Tm in KOH solutions was studied at 25°C and a saturated vapor pressure using spectrophotometry with m-cresol purple and 2-naphthol as pH indicators. It was found that freshly prepared solutions of MCl3 (M = La, Nd, Eu, Gd, Ho, and Tm) at pH 6.0–10.1 contain the ions M3+, M(OH)2+, M(OH) 2 + , and M(OH) 3 0 , for Ho and Tm, the complex anions M(OH) 4 ? . were also detected. The formation constants of the hydroxide complexes a ionic strengths I = 0 were obtained as the parameters of linear regression equations that characterize the spectra of the indicators in the solutions under study.  相似文献

Using a one-center-method, treating the inner shells statistically, the valence-shell, however, by quantum mechanics, the equilibrium internuclear distances and total molecular energies have been computed for CH4, SiH4, GeH4, SnH4, PbH4, BH 4 ? , AlH 4 ? , GaH 4 ? , InH 4 ? , TlH 4 ? , NH 4 + , PH 4 + , AsH 4 + , SbH 4 + , and BiH 4 + . Simulation of fragments of potential energy surface for systems CH4 + CBr 3 + , CH4 + CBr 3 + AlBr 4 ? , CH4 + CCl 3 + AlCl 4 ? , and CH4 + CCl 3 + Al2Cl 7 ? was performed by DFT-B3LYP and DFT-PBE methods. The important role of nucleophilic assistance in methane halogenation by these superelectrophiles was confirmed. These reactions occur with a synchronous hydride transfer from methane to the electrophile within the cyclic transition states in linear C-H-C fragment of the rings and a generation of a C-Hlg bond between the carbon atom of the arising methyl group and the halogen atom of the electrophile. The nucleophilic assistance from the unshared electron pair of this halogen atom provides the lowering of the potential barriers to methane halogenation by complexes CBr 3 + AlBr 4 ? , CCl 3 + AlCl 4 ? , and CCl 3 + Al2Cl 7 ? to the values of the order of 20 kcal mol?1. These essential features of the mechanism of methane halogenation are independent of the halogen nature and are retained on going from the model electrophiles to the real ones.  相似文献

The pK 2 * for the dissociation of sulfurous acid from I=0.5 to 6.0 molal at 25°C has been determined from emf measurements in NaCl solutions with added concentrations of NiCl2, CoCl2, McCl2 and CdCl2 (m=0.1). These experimental results have been treated using both the ion pairing and Pitzer's specific ion-interaction models. The Pitzer parameters for the interaction of M2+ with SO 3 2? yielded $$\begin{gathered} \beta _{NiSO_3 }^{(0)} = - 5.5, \beta _{NiSO_3 }^{(1)} = 5.8, and \beta _{NiSO_3 }^{(2)} = - 138 \hfill \\ \beta _{CoSO_3 }^{(0)} = - 12.3, \beta _{CoSO_3 }^{(1)} = 31.6, and \beta _{CoSO_3 }^{(2)} = - 562 \hfill \\ \beta _{MnSO_3 }^{(0)} = - 8.9, \beta _{MnSO_3 }^{(1)} = 18.7, and \beta _{MnSO_3 }^{(2)} = - 353 \hfill \\ \beta _{CdSO_3 }^{(0)} = - 7.2, \beta _{CdSO_3 }^{(1)} = 13.8, and \beta _{CdSO_3 }^{(2)} = - 489 \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ The calculated values of pK 2 * using Pitzer's equations reproduce the measured values to within ±0.01 pK units. The ion pairing model yielded $$\begin{gathered} logK_{NiSO_3 } = 2.88 and log\gamma _{NiSO_3 } = 0.111 \hfill \\ logK_{CoSO_3 } = 3.08 and log\gamma _{CoSO_3 } = 0.051 \hfill \\ logK_{MnSO_3 } = 3.00 and log\gamma _{MnSO_3 } = 0.041 \hfill \\ logK_{CdSO_3 } = 3.29 and log\gamma _{CdSO_3 } = 0.171 \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ for the formation of the complex MSO3. The stability constants for the formation of MSO3 complexes were found to correlate with the literature values for the formation of MSO4 complexes.  相似文献

Graphene platelet (GP)-Ru(phen) 3 2+ assembles have been prepared through self-assembly of poly sodium styrenesulfonate (PSS) functionalized GPs and Ru(phen) 3 2+ driven by electrostatic attraction interactions in aqueous solution. Garnet compounds A 3 2+ B 2 2+ C4+V 2 5+ O12 (A = Ca, Cd; B = Mg, Zn, Co, Ni, Cu, Mn, Cd; C = Ge, Si) (space group \(Ia\bar 3d\) , Z = 8) have been prepared by solid-phase synthesis in air at 900–1250°C. Most of these compounds melt incongruently or decompose in the solid phase. The isomorphic capacity of garnets and their homogeneity fields are discussed. Prior to this study there were no thermodynamic data for isosaccharinate (ISA) complexes of Fe(III) in the environmental range of pH (>~4.5). This study was undertaken to obtain such data in order to predict Fe(III) behavior in the presence of ISA. The solubility of Fe(OH)3(2-line ferrihydrite), referred to as Fe(OH)3(s), was studied at 22?±?2?°C in: (1) very acidic (0.01?mol·dm?3 H+) to highly alkaline conditions (3?mol·dm?3 NaOH) as a function of time (11?C421?days), and fixed concentrations of 0.01 or 0.001?mol·dm?3 NaISA; and (2) as a function of NaISA concentrations ranging from approximately 0.0001 to 0.256?mol·dm?3 and at fixed pH values of approximately 4.5 and 11.6 to determine the ISA complexes of Fe(III). The data were interpreted using the SIT model that included previously reported stability constants for $ {{\text{Fe(ISA}})_{n}}^{3 - n} $ (with n varying from 1 to 4) and Fe(III)?COH complexes, and the solubility product for Fe(OH)3(s) along with the values for two additional complexes (Fe(OH)2(ISA)(aq) and $ {\text{Fe(OH)}}_{ 3} ( {{\text{ISA}})_{2}}^{2 - } $ ) determined in this study. These extensive data provided a log10 K 0 value of 1.55?±?0.38 for the reaction $ ({\text{Fe}}^{ 3+ } + {\text{ISA}}^{-} + 2 {\text{H}}_{ 2} {\text{O}} \rightleftarrows {\text{Fe(OH}})_{ 2} {\text{ISA(aq}}) + 2 {\text{H}}^{ + } ) $ and a value of ?3.27?±?0.32 for the reaction $ ({\text{Fe}}^{ 3+ } + 2 {\text{ISA}}^{-} + 3 {\text{H}}_{ 2} {\text{O}} \rightleftarrows {\text{Fe(OH)}}_{ 3} ( {\text{ISA}})_{2}^{2 - } + 3 {\text{H}}^{ + } ) $ and show that ISA forms strong complexes with Fe(III) which significantly increase the Fe(OH)3(s) solubility at pH?<~12. Thermodynamic calculations show that competition of Fe(III) with tetravalent ions for ISA does not significantly affect the solubilities of tetravalent hydrous oxides (e.g., Th and Np(IV)) in ISA solutions.  相似文献
