By using the measure of concurrence, the entanglement of the ground state in the one-dimensional Anderson model is studied with consideration of the long-range correlations. Three kinds of correlations are discussed. We compare the effects of the long-rang Gaussian and power-law correlations between the site energies on the concurrence, and demonstrate the existence of the band structure of the concurrence in the power-law case. The emergence of the sharp kink on the concurrence curve shown in the intraband or in the interband indicates the position at which the localization extent of the state may have the severe variation. We use the Rudin-Shapiro model to describe the site energy distribution of the nucleotides of the DNA chain: guanine (G), adenine (A), cytosine(C), thymine (T). This model is a tetradic quasiperiodic sequence and is shown to be long-range correlated. Our results show that correlations between the site energies increase the concurrences.  相似文献

Motivated by recent developments in quantum entanglement, we study the relations among concurrence and phase entropy of a three-level atom interacting with a bimodal cavity field. Analytical results are presented when the photonic band gap is exhibited by the presence of photonic crystals. The evolution of the atomic inversion with the field initially in a coherent state is examined, and different nonclassical effects in its dynamics are discussed. An extension of the notion of concurrence introduced by Wooters is used to quantify the entanglement. We conclusively calculate the phase entropy and entanglement using the Pegg-Barnett phase formalism. Evidence has been found to support the idea that phase entropy and concurrence are correlated in this particular model. One feature of the regime considered here is that closed-form evaluation of the time evolution may be carried out in the presence of the detuning and the photonic band gap, which provides insight into the difference in the nature of the concurrence function for atom-field coupling, mode frequency, and different cavity parameters. We demonstrate how fluctuations in the concurrence and phase entropy are affected by the presence of the photonic band gap. Explicit results with numerical simulations applied to GaAs are obtained.  相似文献

We calculate the concurrence and spin squeezing parameter of three atoms induced by a coherent field.It shows that when the mean numbers of photon of the field is very small, concurrence exhibits a certain kind of approximative periodic vibration. With the increase of the mean numbers of photon, its periodicity will be interrupted.As for the relationship between the concurrence and spin squeezing, numeric result shows that under Dick model, spin squeezing serves as a sufficient but not necessary condition for concurrence.  相似文献

The concurrence evolution of two qubits coupled with one-mode cavity separately is investigated exactly without adopting the rotating-wave approximation. The results show that for the resonant case, the concurrence evolution behaviour of the system is similar to that of the Markovian case when the coupling strength is weak, while the concurrence vanishes in a finite time and might revive fractional initial entanglement before it permanently vanishes when the coupling strength is strong. And for the detuning case, the entanglement could periodically recover after complete disentanglement. These results are quite different from those of system subjected to Jaynes--Cummings model.  相似文献

The pairwise entanglement, measured by concurrence and geometric phase in high dimensional free-Fermion lattice systems have been studied in this paper. When the system stays at the ground state, their derivatives with the external parameter show the singularity closed to the phase transition points, and can be used to detect the phase transition in this model. Furthermore our studies show for the free-Fermion model that both concurrence and geometric phase show the intimate connection with the correlation functions. The possible connection between concurrence and geometric phase has been also discussed.  相似文献

Three-dimensional Heisenberg model in the form of a tetrahedron lattice is investigated. The concurrence and multipartite entanglement are calculated through 2-concurrence C and 4-concurrence C4. The concurrence C and multipartite entanglement G4 depend on different coupling strengths Ji and are decreased when the temperature T is increased. For a symmetric tetrahedron lattice, the concurrence C is symmetric about J1 when J~ is negative while the multipartite entanglement G4 is symmetric about J1 when J2 〈 2. For a regular tetrahedron lattice, the concurrence G of ground state is 1/3 for ferromagnetic case while G = 0 for antiferromagnetic ca.se. However, there is no multipartitc entanglement since C4=0 in a regular tetrahedron lattice. The external magnetic field 13 can increase the maximum value of the concurrence GB and induce two or three peaks in Cn. There is a peak in the multipartite entanglement G4 B when G4B is varied as a function of the temperature T. This peak is mainly induced by the magnetic field B.  相似文献

Magnetic properties and quantum entanglement of Heisenberg model with two-, three- and four-site exchange interactions on zigzag ladder are studied. Magnetic properties and concurrence (measure of quantum entanglement) are analyzed by means of variational mean-field-like treatment based on the Gibbs-Bogoliubov inequality. The magnetization plateau and second-order phase transition are obtained. A comparison of the entanglement and magnetic characteristics for the zigzag ladder is made. Our calculations show that in the antiferromagnetic region the behavior of the concurrence coincides with that of the magnetization.  相似文献

The effects of atmospheric turbulence on the entanglement of spatial two-qubit states that are prepared using the signal and idler photons produced by parametric down-conversion are studied. Utilizing the non-Kolmogorov model for atmospheric turbulence and Rytov approximation method, we quantify the effects of atmospheric turbulence on the entanglement of the two-qubit state in terms of Wootters's concurrence. Our results show that the effects of the zenith angle of communication channel and the outer scale of turbulence on the concurrence of a spatial two-qubit state can be ignored and the smaller inner scale of turbulence, the smaller refractive-index power α, the shorter wavelength of beams and the longer propagation distance will lead to the larger fluctuations of the concurrence of a spatial two-qubit state.  相似文献

After briefly introducing Akhtarshenas, concurrence vector and subvector for describing many-body entanglement, we investigate the entanglement formation for a system which contains three bodies, i.e. two identical atoms and a single- model cavity field, in the Tavis-Cummings model by calculating the concurrences. The results show that the coupling strength between two atoms, the decay cavity and the atomic spontaneous emission can change the entanglement of formation according to different modes: these factors destroy periodicity and symmetry of all concurrences, and that the coupling strength of two atoms does not change the peak value of concurrence (C), but the strength of decay cavity and the atomic spontaneous emission decline in the peak value of concurrence (C) and the latter is more serious than the former under the same strengths. The concurrence vector and subvector are a useful measure of entanglement for a pure state of the many-body system, in that it can give novel pictures about the entanglements for the entire system and between its inner bodies.  相似文献

The bipartite entanglement is rigorously examined in the spin-1/2 Ising-Heisenberg planar lattice composed of identical inter-connected bipyramidal plaquettes at zero and finite temperatures using the quantity called concurrence. It is shown that the Heisenberg spins of the same plaquette are twice stronger entangled in the two-fold degenerate quantum ground state than in the macroscopically degenerate quantum chiral one. The bipartite entanglement with chiral features completely disappears below or exactly at the critical temperature of the model, while that with no chirality may survive even above the critical temperature of the model. Non-monotonous temperature variations of the concurrence clearly evidence the activation of the entangled Heisenberg states also above classical ground state as well as their re-appearance above the critical temperature of the model.  相似文献

By mapping the Fock space of many local fermionic modes isomorphically onto a many-qubit space and using the measure of concurrence, this paper studies numerically the mode entanglement of two spinless electrons with on-site interaction U moving in the one-dimensional Harper model. Generally speaking, for electrons in extended regimes (potential parameter λ 〈 2), the spectrum-averaged concurrence N(C) first decreases slowly as A increases until its local minimum, then increases with λ until its peak at λ = 2, while for electrons in localized regimes (λ 〉 2), N(C) decreases drastically as λ increases. The functions of N(C) versus λ are different for electrons in extended and localized regimes. The maximum of N(C) occurs at the point λ= 2, which is the critical value in the one-dimensional singleparticle Harper model. From these studies it can distinguish extended, localized and critical regimes for the two-particle system. It is also found for the same λ that the interaction U always induce the decreases of concurrence, i.e., the concurrence can reflect the localization effect due to the interaction. All these provide us a new quantity to understand the localization properties of eigenstates of two interacting particles.  相似文献

We use the quantum renormalization-group(QRG) method to study the entanglement and quantum phase transition(QPT) in the one-dimensional spin-1/2 Heisenberg-Ising model [Lieb E,Schultz T and Mattis D 1961 Ann.Phys.(N.Y.) 16 407].We find the quantum phase boundary of this model by investigating the evolution of concurrence in terms of QRG iterations.We also investigate the scaling behavior of the system close to the quantum critical point,which shows that the minimum value of the first derivative of concurrence and the position of the minimum scale with an exponent of the system size.Also,the first derivative of concurrence between two blocks diverges at the quantum critical point,which is directly associated with the divergence of the correlation length.  相似文献

A new formula of entanglement fidelity has been introduced, which can serve as a measure of the preservation of entanglement between two initially entangled subsystems exposed to local noisy environments. For a simple model we derive analytic expressions of concurrence and entanglement fidelity and draw the relationship between them. We find that such entanglement fidelity exhibits the behavior similar to that of the concurrence in quantum evolutions.  相似文献

We show that although we cannot distil a singlet from many pairs of bound entangled states, the concurrence and the tangle of two entangled quantum states are always strictly larger than those of one of them, even both entangled quantum states are bound entangled. The concept of local concurrence is used to quantify the entanglement between a single qubit and the remainder of a multiqubit system. For the ground state of the BCS model in the thermodynamic limit the set of local concurrences completely describes the entanglement. As a measure for the entanglement of the full system we investigate the average local concurrence (ALC). We find that the ALC satisfies a simple relation with the order parameter. We then show that for finite systems with a fixed particle number, a relation between the ALC and the condensation energy exposes a threshold coupling. Below the threshold, entanglement measures besides the ALC are significant.  相似文献

Quantum resources play crucial roles for displaying superiority in many quantum communication and computation tasks. To reveal the intrinsic relations hidden in these quantum resources, many efforts have been made in recent years. In this work, the correlations of the tripartite W‐type states based on bipartite quantum resources are investigated. The inter‐relations among the degree of coherence, concurrence, Bell nonlocality, and purity are presented. Considering Bell nonlocal and Bell local (satisfied the Clauser–Horne–Shimony–Holt inequality) states for the two‐qubit subsystems derived from the tripartite W‐type states, exact lower and upper boundaries of the degree of coherence versus concurrence are obtained. Interestingly, exact relation among the degree of coherence, concurrence, and purity is obtained. Moreover, coherence is also closely related to entanglement in two specific scenarios: the tripartite W‐type state under decoherence and a practical system for a renormalized spin‐1/2 Heisenberg model.  相似文献
