In the present investigation, a novel series of pyrazolines 2a–2d were synthesized by the cyclization of various -1-[2-(alkoxy) phenyl]-3-(thiophen-2-yl) prop-2-en-1-one 1a–1d with N-substituted phenyl hydrazine and thiosemicarbazide in the presence of CH3COOH and NaOH in ethanol which lead to the formation of new pyrazolines. The structures of these compounds were elucidated by, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, ESI-MS spectral data and their purities were confirmed by elemental analyes. The in vitro antibacterial activity of these compounds was evaluated against two Gram-positive and two Gram-negative bacteria Aeromonas hydrophila, Yersinia enterocolitica, Listeria monocytogenes, and Staphylococcus aureus by microdilution method and then the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of these compounds was determined. The results showed that compounds 1-[2-(benzyloxy) phenyl]-5-(thiophen-2-yl)-1-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-4-yl (2b) and 1-[2-(naphthalen-2-ylmethoxy) phenyl]-5-(thiophene-2-yl)-1-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-4-yl (2d) showed most promising antibacterial activity as compared to the antibiotics gentamicin and tetracycline in (Table 1, Table 2).  相似文献

We present the synthesis, characterization and in vitro antiplasmodial and antitrypanosomal studies of iron(III) complexes of amodiaquine, trimethoprim and pyrimethamine. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, electronic and IR spectroscopy and room temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements. The spectra are consistent with octahedral geometry around the metal ions. The complexes were tested for in vitro activity against cultures of Plasmodium falciparum, Tripanosoma brucei rhodosiense, L. donovani and Tripanosoma cruzi. One of the complexes showed enhanced activity of about 8.4 times more than chloroquine against the resistant strain of Plasmodium falciparum.  相似文献

A di-n-butyltin(IV) complex with (E)-3-(4-(9H-carbazole-9-yl)phenyl) acrylic acid (HL) of the formula {[n-Bu2SnOL]2O}2 was synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. This complex is a tetranuclear one with ladder framework. Furthermore, this complex was tested in vitro for its cytotoxic activity, using human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line (BEL-7402) and human hepatocellular liver carcinoma cell line (HepG2); 5-Fluorouracil was used as a positive control substance. This complex showed cytotoxicity greater than that of 5-Fluorouracil.  相似文献

Two novel dinuclear organotin(IV) complexes [n-Bu2Sn(imda)(H2O)]2·Bipy (1) and [n-Bu2Sn(imda)(H2O)]2·Phen (2) [H2imda = iminodiacetic acid, Bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine and Phen = 1,10-phenanthroline] were synthesised and characterized employing IR, 1H, 13C, 119Sn NMR, and 119Sn Mössbauer spectroscopic and elemental analyses. Single crystal X-ray crystallography of 1 has confirmed that it is a binuclear Sn(IV) species formed via carboxylate bridges where each metal adopted a seven coordinate distorted pentagonal bipyramidal geometry. The iminodiacetate dianion (imda2−) acts as a potential tridentate [N,O,O] carboxylate bridging ligand. The packing revealed that the additional α-diimine (Bipy or Phen) does not coordinate to metal ion. However, its presence in the crystal lattice as spacer helps for the formation of a supramolecular framework by bringing the two binuclear species close enough through extensive H-bonding. The in vitro cytotoxicity of compounds 1 and 2 indicate better results than cisplatin against three tumor cell lines investigated.  相似文献

A series of quinones (3a-i, 4-9, 11) and aromatic compounds (2a, 2d, 2g) containing the thiophene ring were tested in vitro against the trypomastigote form of Trypanosoma cruzi and the promastigote forms of Leishmania. The quinones 3a-i, 4, 5a, b, 6 and 9 having the thiophene ring fused to a quinone nucleus were the most active members of the series. The electron affinities of the benzo[b]thiophene-4,7-quinones 3, evaluated by their LUMO energies and halfwave potentials, are reported.  相似文献

Six new copper(II) complexes of 2-hydroxyacetophenone-N(4)-phenyl semicarbazone have been synthesized and physico-chemically characterized. The tridentate character of the semicarbazone is inferred from IR spectra. Based on EPR studies, the spin Hamiltonian and bonding parameters have been calculated. The g   values, calculated for all the complexes in frozen DMF, indicate the presence of the unpaired electron in the dx2-y2dx2-y2 orbital. The metal–ligand bonding parameters evaluated showed strong in-plane σ and in-plane π-bonding. The structure of the compound, CuLphen has been resolved using single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The crystal structure revealed a monoclinic lattice with space group symmetry P21/c. The compound adopts a distorted square pyramidal geometry with a N2O2 core as the base.  相似文献

New mononuclear Ru(II) complexes [Ru(A)2(B)]2+, where A?=?2,2′-bipyridine/1,10-phenanthroline and B?=?3,4,5-tri-OCH3-DPC, 4-CH3-DPC, 4-N(CH3)2-DPC, 4-NO2-DPC, N-BITSZ, PTSZ and PINH, were prepared and characterized by spectroscopic methods. The in vitro cytotoxic activities of the complexes and their corresponding ligands were investigated against the human cancer T-lymphocyte cell lines molt 4/c8 and CEM and the murine tumor leukemia cell line L1210, human promyelocytic leukemia cells (HL-60) and Bel-7402 liver cancer cells by MTT assay. The complexes [Ru(A)2(B)]2+ (A?=?1,10-phenanthroline, B?=?3,4,5-tri-OCH3-DPC) exerts rather more potent activities against all of these cell lines, especially for CEM and L1210. Ru complexes and structure–activity relationships and anticancer mechanisms are also discussed.  相似文献

Investigation of N-heterocycle transition metal complexes has led to the discovery of metal-based antitumor agents. Herein, two binuclear complexes, [Cu(p-4-bmb)(Ac)2]2 (1) and [Co(p-4-bmp)Cl2]2 (2), were prepared and characterized. The interactions of 1 and 2 with calf thymus (CT)-DNA and bovine serum albumin (BSA) were detected by absorbance and emission spectroscopy. The complexes bind to CT-DNA via an intercalative mode and show moderate affinity to BSA. Both complexes exhibited remarkable DNA cleavage activity. The MTT assay demonstrated that 1 exhibited higher cytotoxicity against three human alimentary system carcinoma cell lines compared to 2. Further, a cellular uptake assay demonstrated that 1 can accumulate in the nucleus and mitochondria of SMMC7721 cells to induce DNA damage and mitochondrial dysfunction. Fluorescence staining and flow cytometry analyses revealed that 1 can induce cell death by apoptosis. These findings should promote the development of benzimidazole-based transition metal complexes as novel chemotherapy agents with fewer side effects than conventional antitumor drugs.  相似文献

Methyl 2-(2,4-dichloro-5-fluorobenzoyl)-3-(pyrimidin-2-ylamino)acrylate has been prepared. Its crystal structure is discussed. The compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1 with a = 11.6259 (7) Å, b = 11.8789 (7) Å, c = 13.9206 (5) Å, α = 68.0250 (10)°, β = 77.5660 (10)°, γ = 62.4950 (10)°, V = 1579.18 (14) Å3, Z = 4. There are two independent but chemically identical molecules in the asymmetric unit. The molecules are packed in the crystal structure by weak intermolecular C–H···O and C–H···F interactions.  相似文献

Triarylantimony(V) di(N-phenylglycinates) (PhNHCH2COO)2SbAr3 (Ar = Ph, p-CH3C6H4, p-ClC6H4, and p-FC6H4) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, and mass spectra. Reactions of [N(C6H3i-Pr2-2,6)(SiMe3)]2LnCl(THF) (Ln=Nd, Yb) with two equivalents of MeLi in a mixture solution of toluene and Et2O gave [N(C6H3i-Pr2-2,6)(SiMe3)]2LnCH3(μ-CH3)Li(THF)3·PhCH3 (Ln=Nd (1), Yb (2)) in good isolated yields as crystalline solids. The single-crystal structural analysis of 2 revealed that the coordination geometry of ytterbium ion is best described as a distorted pseudo-tetrahedron. Both 1 and 2 are active for the polymerization of methyl methacrylate to give syndiotactic-rich and high molecular weight polymers (Mn>104) with relatively narrow molecular weight distributions (Mw/Mn<2).  相似文献

Three new diorganotin(IV) complexes, [Me2Sn(BDET] (2), [Bu2Sn(BDET)] (3), and [Ph2Sn(BDET)] (4), were synthesized by reacting R2SnCl2 (R = Me, Bu, and Ph) with 5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde-N(4)-ethylthiosemicarbazone [H2BDET, (1)] in the presence of KOH in absolute methanol. The newly synthesized complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, UV–vis, FT-IR, 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectroscopies. The molecular structure of 4 was confirmed by X-ray crystallography. X-ray crystallography revealed that the doubly deprotonated O,N,S-tridentate thiosemicarbazone coordinates to tin(IV), resulting in a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry. Their 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectra support a five-coordinate tin(IV) in solution for all complexes, in accord with the solid-state X-ray structure determined for 4. Compounds 14 were evaluated for their antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus, Enterobacter aerogenes, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella typhi. The results exhibited that 24 were active with comparable potency compared to the standard drug. Antibacterial studies also indicated that the complexes have potential for biological evaluation.  相似文献

Triphenyl-and tribenzyltin(IV) complexes of the ligand (sodium 5,5-diethyl barbital) have been synthesized and characterized by various spectroscopic methods. Trigonal bipyramidal geometry is assigned to all the complexes on the basis of results obtained by 1H, 13C, and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy, IR, and 119mSn Mössbauer studies. Fungicidal activity of the complexes was studied using various plant pathogens via the hanging drop method. The triphenyltin(IV) complex of this ligand exhibited promising activity against all the plant pathogens at all concentrations used, while the tribenzyltin(IV) complex also showed significant fungicidal activity.  相似文献

Three metal complexes with empirical formulae [Mn(theop)2(H2O)4] (1), [Co(theop)2(H2O)4] (2), [Ni(theop)2(H2O)4] (3), (where: theop?=?theophylline) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR- spectroscopy and thermal decomposition techniques. Their crystal structures were determined by single crystal Xray diffraction analysis. Complexes are isomorphous and crystallise in the monocyclic space group P21/c. Their thermal behavior was studied by TGA methods under non-isothermal condition in air. Upon heating all compounds decompose progressively to metal oxides, which are the final products of pyrolysis. Furthermore, antimicrobial and antioxidant activity of the complexes was examined.  相似文献

Syntheses of various derivatives of 3,5-pyrazolidenedione are reported. This includes 4-arylidene (alkylidene or aralkylidene)-3,5-pyrazolidinediones, which on epoxidation gave unreported oxiranes. The syntheses of these derivatives were based on either the Knoevenagel reaction of carbonyl derivatives with 3,4-pyrazolidinedione or cyclization of arylidene (alkylidene) malonic acid hydrazide with glacial acetic acid. 4-Arylazo-3,5-pyrazolidinedione derivatives were also prepared by coupling of aryldiazonium salts with 3,5-pyrazolidinedione or cyclization of arylazomalonic acid hydrazide. Reduction of 4-benzylidene derivatives gave the corresponding benzyl derivatives. The structure of the new products was confirmed by elemental and spectral analyses and X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

The synthesis of two complex acetyl azides 6 and 10 having an heteroaryl residue bound to the acetyl group through the ring nitrogen, and their further transformations into the corresponding carbamates 7a-b and 11a-b and isocyanates 16 and 14 are described. Hydrolysis of these products results in the elimination of the substituted methyl group from the heterocyclic residue and formation of 1-unsubstituled heterocycles. A similar transformation was also observed under mass measurement conditions.  相似文献

在THF溶液中合成了标题化合物3-氯-4-二苄胺基-5-甲氧基-2(5H)-呋喃酮,并用FT-IR、UV-Vis、1HNMR、13C NMR、MS、元素分析和X-射线衍射等进行了表征。结果表明此化合物属正交晶系,空间群为Pbca,晶胞参数为:a=15.891(16),b=11.126(11),c=19.778(19),α=β=γ=90°,V=3497(6)3,Z=8,Dc=1.306Mg/m3,μ=0.234 mm-1,F(000)=1440。在化合物的分子结构中,两个苯环几乎垂直于呋喃酮平面,且它们与呋喃酮平面的两面角分别为89.38°和88.19°。  相似文献
