大面积PIN探测器性能参数实验测量 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
利用CFC-67型三通道γ源加速器测量了Ф50mm,Ф60mmPIN探测器的时间响应、线性电流及相对灵敏度,并与理论计算结果进行了比较,验证了实验结果的可靠性。Ф60 mm silicon PIN detector is a large area and high sensitive one which has been developed in near years. Using the type CГC-67 γ accelerator, the parameters of PIN detectors such as time response, linear current and relative sensitivity are measured. The experiment results are compared with the theory calculation. The PIN detector can reach high γefficiency of up to 10^-14-10^-16 C·cm2, the rise time is about 10 ns and the FWHM of the time pulse is about 35 ns. The γ efficiency of the PIN detector may provide the sensitive range between 10^-14-10^-16 C·cm^2 that scintillator + photo tubes detecting system and scintillator + photomul tiplier tubes detecting system is not developed. 相似文献

本研究采用双层150 mm×150 mm闪烁条阵列定位宇宙线的入射和出射位置. 阵列信号光使用波移光纤吸收传输,在ICCD相机前插入前置像增强器,使信号光延迟大于200 ns, 使ICCD可以由外部高速触发信号控制,有效记录随机触发事例.该宇宙线定位系统可以同时多点密集测量 通用探测器测试平台的时间分辨和闪烁光的渡越时间.该新方法与传统时间分辨测量方法相比提高了30倍以上 的效率.实验结果显示:时间探测器的时间分辨好于200 ps,满足通用探测器测试平台的设计要求. 相似文献

We have proposed that the cosmic ray spectrum knee, the steepening of the cosmic ray spectrum at energy E 1015.5 eV, is due to new physics, namely new interactions at TeV cm energies which produce particles undetected by the experimental apparatus. In this letter we examine specifically the possibility that this interaction is low scale gravity. We consider that the graviton propagates, besides the usual four dimensions, into an additional , compactified, large dimensions and we estimate the graviton production in pp collisions in the high energy approximation where graviton emission is factorized. We find that the cross section for graviton production rises as fast as (
/M
f)2+, where M
f is the fundamental scale of gravity in 4 + dimensions, and that the distribution of radiating a fraction y of the initial particle's energy into gravitational energy (which goes undetected) behaves as y
– 1. The missing energy leads to an underestimate of the true energy and generates a break in the inferred cosmic ray spectrum (the knee). By fitting the cosmic ray spectrum data we deduce that the favorite values for the parameters of the theory are M

Resistive Plate Chamber (RPC) modules will be used as one part of the cosmic muon veto system in the Daya Bay reactor neutrino experiment. A total of 189 RPC modules will cover the three water pools in the experiment. To achieve track reconstruction and high efficiency, each module consists of 4 layers, each of which contains two sizes of bare chambers. The placement of bare chambers is reversed in different layers to reduce the overlapping dead areas. The module efficiency and patch efficiency were studied both in simulation and test of the data analysis. 143 modules have been constructed and tested. The preliminary study shows that the module and patch 3 out of 4 layers efficiency reaches about 98%. 相似文献
