Berkson测量误差模型在工业、农业、流行病学、经济学 等领域有广泛的应用. 本文考虑了一类多元超结构Berkson测量误差模型, 给出了该模型中参数的相合估计, 推导了估计的渐近分布, 并把该方法应用到一元超结构Berkson测量误差模型中, 最后给出了模拟结果和实例分析来说明本文所提出的估计方法的表现.  相似文献

This paper focuses on robust estimation in the structural errors-in-variables (EV) model. A new class of robust estimators, called weighted orthogonal regression estimators, is introduced. Robust estimators of the parameters of the EV model are simply derived from robust estimators of multivariate location and scatter such as the M-estimators, the S-estimators and the MCD estimator. The influence functions of the proposed estimators are calculated and shown to be bounded. Moreover, we derive the asymptotic distributions of the estimators and illustrate the results on simulated examples and on a real-data set.  相似文献

Efficiencies of the maximum pseudolikelihood estimator and a number of related estimators for the case-cohort sampling design in the proportional hazards regression model are studied. The asymptotic information and lower bound for estimating the parametric regression parameter are calculated based on the effective score, which is obtained by determining the component of the parametric score orthogonal to the space generated by the infinite-dimensional nuisance parameter. The asymptotic distributions of the maximum pseudolikelihood and related estimators in an i.i.d. setting show that these estimators do not achieve the computed asymptotic lower bound. Simple guidelines are provided to determine in which instances such estimators are close enough to efficient for practical purposes.  相似文献

This paper considers a nonparametric varying coefficient regression with spatial data. A global smoothing procedure is developed by using B-spline function approximations for estimating the coefficient functions. Under mild regularity assumptions,the global convergence rates of the B-spline estimators of the unknown coefficient functions are established. Four estimators of the reliability for a composite score based on the factor analysis model and five estimators of the maximal reliability for the composite are presented. When the Wishart maximum likelihood is used for the estimation of the model parameters, it is shown that the five estimators of maximal reliability are the same. Asymptotic cumulants of the estimators and their logarithmic transformations are derived under arbitrary distributions with possible model misspecification. The theoretical results considering model misspecification when a model does not hold are shown to be closer to their simulated values than those neglecting model misspecification. Simulations of the confidence intervals using the normal approximation based on the asymptotically distribution-free theory and the asymptotic expansion by Hall’s method with variable transformation are performed.  相似文献

This paper discusses minimum distance (m.d.) estimators of the paramter vector in the multiple linear regression model when the distributions of errors are unknown. These estimators are defined in terms of L2-distances involving certain weighted empirical processes. Their finite sample properties and asymptotic behavior under heteroscedastic, symmetric and asymmetric errors are discussed. Some robustness properties of these estimators are also studied.  相似文献

The problem of imputing missing observations under the linear regression model is considered. It is assumed that observations are missing at random and all the observations on the auxiliary or independent variables are available. Estimates of the regression parameters based on singly and multiply imputed values are given. Jackknife as well as bootstrap estimates of the variance of the singly imputed estimator of the regression parameters are given. These estimators are shown to be consistent estimators. The asymptotic distributions of the imputed estimators are also given to obtain interval estimates of the parameters of interest. These interval estimates are then compared with the interval estimates obtained from multiple imputation. It is shown that singly imputed estimators perform at least as good as multiply imputed estimators. A new nonparametric multiply imputed estimator is proposed and shown to perform as good as a multiply imputed estimator under normality. The singly imputed estimator, however, still remains at least as good as a multiply imputed estimator.  相似文献

The main object of this paper is to discuss the Bayes estimation of the regression coefficients in the elliptically distributed simple regression model with measurement errors. The posterior distribution for the line parameters is obtained in a closed form, considering the following: the ratio of the error variances is known, informative prior distribution for the error variance, and non-informative prior distributions for the regression coefficients and for the incidental parameters. We proved that the posterior distribution of the regression coefficients has at most two real modes. Situations with a single mode are more likely than those with two modes, especially in large samples. The precision of the modal estimators is studied by deriving the Hessian matrix, which although complicated can be computed numerically. The posterior mean is estimated by using the Gibbs sampling algorithm and approximations by normal distributions. The results are applied to a real data set and connections with results in the literature are reported.  相似文献

This paper considers a general family of Stein rule estimators for the coefficient vector of a linear regression model with nonspherical disturbances, and derives estimators for the Mean Squared Error (MSE) matrix, and risk under quadratic loss for this family of estimators. The confidence ellipsoids for the coefficient vector based on this family of estimators are proposed, and the performance of the confidence ellipsoids under the criterion of coverage probability and expected volumes is investigated. The results of a numerical simulation are presented to illustrate the theoretical findings, which could be applicable in the area of economic growth modeling.  相似文献

We study a multivariate ultrastructural measurement error (MUME) model with more than one response variable. This model is a synthesis of multivariate functional and structural models. Three consistent estimators of regression coefficients, satisfying the exact linear restrictions have been proposed. Their asymptotic distributions are derived under the assumption of a non-normal measurement error and random error components. A simulation study is carried out to investigate the small sample properties of the estimators. Asymptotic expansions are made for the distributions of the Maximum Empirical Likelihood (MEL) estimator and the Estimating Equation (EE) estimator (or the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) in econometrics) for the coefficients of a single structural equation in a system of linear simultaneous equations, which corresponds to a reduced rank regression model. The expansions in terms of the sample size, when the non-centrality parameters increase proportionally, are carried out to O(n−1). Comparisons of the distributions of the MEL and GMM estimators are made. Also, we relate the asymptotic expansions of the distributions of the MEL and GMM estimators to the corresponding expansions for the Limited Information Maximum Likelihood (LIML) and the Two-Stage Least Squares (TSLS) estimators. We give useful information on the higher order properties of alternative estimators including the semi-parametric inefficiency factor under the homoscedasticity assumption.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose three simple closed form estimators for a class of log-symmetric distributions on \({\mathbb {R}}^{+}\). The proposed methods make use of some key properties of this class of distributions. We derive the asymptotic distributions of these estimators. The performance of the proposed estimators are then compared with those of the maximum likelihood estimators through Monte Carlo simulations. In this paper, we introduce some mixed integer-valued autoregressive models of orders 1 and 2 with geometric marginal distributions, denoted by MGINAR(1) and MGINAR(2), using a mixture of the well-known binomial and the negative binomial thinning. The distributions of the innovation processes are derived and several properties of the model are discussed. Conditional least squares and Yule-Walker estimators are obtained, and some numerical results of the estimations are presented. The aim of this work is to construct the parameter estimators in the partial linear errors-in-variables (EV) models and explore their asymptotic properties. Unlike other related references, the assumption of known error covariance matrix is removed when the sample can be repeatedly drawn at each designed point from the model. The estimators of interested regression parameters, and the model error variance, as well as the non-parametric function, are constructed. Under some regular conditions, all of the estimators prove strongly consistent. Meanwhile, the asymptotic normality for the estimator of regression parameter is also presented. A simulation study is reported to illustrate our asymptotic results.  相似文献

Measurement error (errors-in-variables) models are frequently used in various scientific fields, such as engineering, medicine, chemistry, etc. In this work, we consider a new replicated structural measurement error model in which the replicated observations jointly follow scale mixtures of normal (SMN) distributions. Maximum likelihood estimates are computed via an EM type algorithm method. A closed expression is presented for the asymptotic covariance matrix of those estimators. The SMN measurement error model provides an appealing robust alternative to the usual model based on normal distributions. The results of simulation studies and a real data set analysis confirm the robustness of SMN measurement error model.  相似文献
