We obtain exact results in α′ for open and closed A-model topological string amplitudes on a large class of toric Calabi-Yau threefolds by using their correspondence with five dimensional gauge theories. The toric Calabi-Yaus that we analyze are obtained as minimal resolution of cones over Y p,q manifolds and give rise via M-theory compactification to SU(p) gauge theories on . As an application we present a detailed study of the local case and compute open and closed genus zero Gromov-Witten invariants of the orbifold. We also display the modular structure of the topological wave function and give predictions for higher genus amplitudes. The mirror curve in this case is the spectral curve of the relativistic A 1 Toda chain. Our results also indicate the existence of a wider class of relativistic integrable systems associated to generic Y p,q geometries.  相似文献

We show that the algebra of commuting Hamiltonians of the homogeneous XXX Heisenberg model has simple spectrum on the subspace of singular vectors of the tensor product of two-dimensional -modules. As a byproduct we show that there exist exactly two-dimensional vector subspaces with a basis such that deg f = l, deg gnl + 1 and f (u)g(u − 1) − f (u − 1)g(u) = (u + 1) n . For an N-body Stark Hamiltonian , the resolvent estimate holds uniformly in with Re and Im , where , and is a compact interval. This estimate is well known as the limiting absorption principle. In this paper, we report that by introducing the localization in the configuration space, a refined resolvent estimate holds uniformly in with Re and Im . The notion of a p-adic superspace is introduced and used to give a transparent construction of the Frobenius map on p-adic cohomology of a smooth projective variety over (the ring of p-adic integers), as well as an alternative construction of the crystalline cohomology of a smooth projective variety over (finite field with p elements). We perform a systematic study of the possible molecular states composed of a pair of heavy mesons such as , , in the framework of the meson exchange model. The exchanged mesons include the pseudoscalar, scalar and vector mesons. Through our investigation, we find the following results. (1) The structure X(3764) is not a molecular state. (2) There exists strong attraction in the range r<1 fm for the system with J=0,1. If future experiments confirm Z +(4051) as a loosely bound molecular state, its quantum number is probably J P =0+. Its partner state Φ **0 may be searched for in the π 0 χ c1 channel. (3) Vector meson exchange provides strong attraction in the channel together with pion exchange. A bound state solution may exist with a reasonable cutoff parameter Λ∼1.4 GeV. X(3872) may be accommodated as a molecular state dynamically although drawing a very definite conclusion needs further investigation. (4) The molecular state may exist.  相似文献

The so-called ‘soldering’ procedure performed by Polyakov (Int J Math Phys A5, 833–842, 1990) for a -gauge theory is geometrically explained in terms of a Cartan connection on second-order frames of the projective space P1. The relationship between a Cartan connection and the usual (Ehresmann) connection on a principal bundle allows to gain an appropriate insight into the derivation of the genuine ‘diffeomorphisms out of gauge transformations’ given by Polyakov himself. We show that for a quantum completely integrable system in two dimensions, the L 2-normalized joint eigenfunctions of the commuting semiclassical pseudodifferential operators satisfy restriction bounds of the form for generic curves γ on the surface. We also prove that the maximal restriction bounds of Burq-Gerard-Tzvetkov [BGT] are generically attained for certain exceptional subsequences of eigenfunctions. We use the technique of Harish-Chandra bimodules to prove that regular strongly typical blocks of the category for the queer Lie superalgebra are equivalent to the corresponding blocks of the category for the Lie algebra .  相似文献

The spectral functor of an ergodic action of a compact quantum group G on a unital C *-algebra is quasitensor, in the sense that the tensor product of two spectral subspaces is isometrically contained in the spectral subspace of the tensor product representation, and the inclusion maps satisfy natural properties. We show that any quasitensor *-functor from Rep(G) to the category of Hilbert spaces is the spectral functor of an ergodic action of G on a unital C *-algebra. As an application, we associate an ergodic G-action on a unital C *-algebra to an inclusion of Rep(G) into an abstract tensor C *-category . If the inclusion arises from a quantum subgroup K of G, the associated G-system is just the quotient space K\G. If G is a group and has permutation symmetry, the associated G-system is commutative, and therefore isomorphic to the classical quotient space by a subgroup of G. If a tensor C *-category has a Hecke symmetry making an object ρ of dimension d and μ-determinant 1, then there is an ergodic action of S μ U(d) on a unital C *-algebra having the as its spectral subspaces. The special case of is discussed.  相似文献

We present selected recent results of multi-hadron correlation measurements in azimuth and pseudorapidity at intermediate and high p T in Au+Au collisions at , from the STAR experiment at RHIC. At intermediate p T , measurements are presented that attempt to determine the origin of the associated near-side (small Δφ) yield at large pseudo-rapidity difference Δη that is found to be present in heavy ion collisions. In addition, results are reported on new multi-hadron correlation measures at high-p T that use di-hadron triggers and multi-hadron cluster triggers with the goal to constrain the underlying jet kinematics better than in the existing measurements of inclusive spectra and di-hadron correlations.  相似文献

Let be a finite dimensional complex Lie algebra and a Lie subalgebra equipped with the structure of a factorizable quasitriangular Lie bialgebra. Consider the Lie group Exp with the Semenov-Tjan-Shansky Poisson bracket as a Poisson Lie manifold for the double Lie bialgebra . Let be an open domain parameterizing a neighborhood of the identity in Exp by the exponential map. We present dynamical r-matrices with values in over the Poisson Lie base manifold .*This research is partially supported by the Emmy Noether Research Institute for Mathematics, the Minerva Foundation of Germany, the Excellency Center Group Theoretic Methods in the study of Algebraic Varieties of the Israel Science foundation, and by the RFBR grant no. 03-01-00593.  相似文献

By using a suitable Banach space on which we let the transfer operator act, we make a detailed study of the ergodic theory of a unimodal map f of the interval in the Misiurewicz case. We show in particular that the absolutely continuous invariant measure ρ can be written as the sum of 1/square root spikes along the critical orbit, plus a continuous background. We conclude by a discussion of the sense in which the map may be differentiable.  相似文献

A new evaluation of the hadronic vacuum polarization contribution to the muon magnetic moment is presented. We take into account the reanalysis of the low-energy e + e -annihilation cross section into hadrons by the CMD-2 Collaboration. The agreement between e + e -and spectral functions in the channel is found to be much improved. Nevertheless, significant discrepancies remain in the center-of-mass energy range between 0.85 and , so that we refrain from averaging the two data sets. The values found for the lowest-order hadronic vacuum polarization contributions are where the errors have been separated according to their sources: experimental, missing radiative corrections in e + e -data, and isospin breaking. The corresponding Standard Model predictions for the muon magnetic anomaly read where the errors account for the hadronic, light-by-light (LBL) scattering and electroweak contributions. The deviations from the measurement at BNL are found to be (1.9 ) and (0.7 ) for the e + e -- and -based estimates, respectively, where the second error is from the LBL contribution and the third one from the BNL measurement.Received: 7 September 2003, Published online: 30 October 2003  相似文献

For a (co)monad T l on a category , an object X in , and a functor , there is a (co)simplex in . The aim of this paper is to find criteria for para-(co)cyclicity of Z *. Our construction is built on a distributive law of T l with a second (co)monad T r on , a natural transformation , and a morphism in . The (symmetrical) relations i and w need to satisfy are categorical versions of Kaygun’s axioms of a transposition map. Motivation comes from the observation that a (co)ring T over an algebra R determines a distributive law of two (co)monads and on the category of R-bimodules. The functor Π can be chosen such that is the cyclic R-module tensor product. A natural transformation is given by the flip map and a morphism is constructed whenever T is a (co)module algebra or coring of an R-bialgebroid. The notion of a stable anti-Yetter-Drinfel’d module over certain bialgebroids, the so-called  ×  R -Hopf algebras, is introduced. In the particular example when T is a module coring of a  ×  R -Hopf algebra and X is a stable anti-Yetter-Drinfel’d -module, the para-cyclic object Z * is shown to project to a cyclic structure on . For a -Galois extension , a stable anti-Yetter-Drinfel’d -module T S is constructed, such that the cyclic objects and are isomorphic. This extends a theorem by Jara and Ştefan for Hopf Galois extensions. As an application, we compute Hochschild and cyclic homologies of a groupoid with coefficients in a stable anti-Yetter-Drinfel’d module, by tracing it back to the group case. In particular, we obtain explicit expressions for (coinciding relative and ordinary) Hochschild and cyclic homologies of a groupoid. The latter extends results of Burghelea on cyclic homology of groups.  相似文献

We introduce a newfamily of C 2-cofinite N = 1 vertex operator superalgebras , m ≥ 1, which are natural super analogs of the triplet vertex algebra family , p ≥ 2, important in logarithmic conformal field theory. We classify irreducible -modules and discuss logarithmic modules. We also compute bosonic and fermionic formulas of irreducible characters. Finally, we contemplate possible connections between the category of -modules and the category of modules for the quantum group , , by focusing primarily on properties of characters and the Zhu’s algebra . Fix integers g ≥ 3 and r ≥ 2, with r ≥ 3 if g = 3. Given a compact connected Riemann surface X of genus g, let denote the corresponding Deligne–Hitchin moduli space. We prove that the complex analytic space determines (up to an isomorphism) the unordered pair , where is the Riemann surface defined by the opposite almost complex structure on X.  相似文献

New experimental data on inclusive cross section of neutral-vector-meson (ω 0, ϕ, K S 0) production in proton-proton collisions at = 200 GeV obtained at RHIC are analyzed in the framework of z scaling. Properties of z-presentation are used to predict hadron yields over a wide range of transverse momentum p T and collisions energy . The next-to-leading-order perturbative QCD calculations of inclusive cross sections of π 0 mesons produced in pp and collisions over a wide range of and p T are compared with ISR, S pS, RHIC data and predictions of z scaling. The dependence of the spectra in p T and z presentations for different parton distribution and fragmentation functions is studied. The sensitivity of the obtained results to the choice of the renormalization (μ R ), initial-state factorization (μ F ), and final-state factorization (fragmentation) (μ H ) scales is verified. It is shown that self-similar features of particle production dictated by the z scaling give strong restriction on the asymptotic behavior of the inclusive spectra in high-p T region. We exhibit a finitely generated group whose rational homology is isomorphic to the rational stable homology of the mapping class group. It is defined as a mapping class group associated to a surface of infinite genus, and contains all the pure mapping class groups of compact surfaces of genus g with n boundary components, for any g ≥ 0 and n > 0. We construct a representation of into the restricted symplectic group of the real Hilbert space generated by the homology classes of non-separating circles on , which generalizes the classical symplectic representation of the mapping class groups. Moreover, we show that the first universal Chern class in is the pull-back of the Pressley-Segal class on the restricted linear group via the inclusion . L. The space of linear polyvector fields on is a Lie subalgebra of the (graded) Lie algebra , equipped with the Schouten bracket. In this paper, we compute the cohomology of this subalgebra for the adjoint representation in , restricting ourselves to the case of cochains defined with purely aerial Kontsevich’s graphs, as in Pac. J. Math. 218(2):201–239, 2005. We find a result which is very similar to the cohomology for the vector case Pac. J. Math. 229(2):257–292, 2007. This work was supported by the CMCU contract 06 S 1502.
