Let be the weighted Banach space of analytic functions with a topology generated by weighted sup-norm. In the present article, we investigate the analytic mappings and which characterize the compactness of differences of two weighted composition operators on the space . As a consequence we characterize the compactness of differences of composition operators on weighted Bloch spaces.   相似文献

For a degree 2n real d-dimensional multisequence to have a representing measure μ, it is necessary for the associated moment matrix to be positive semidefinite and for the algebraic variety associated to β, , to satisfy rank card as well as the following consistency condition: if a polynomial vanishes on , then . We prove that for the extremal case , positivity of and consistency are sufficient for the existence of a (unique, rank -atomic) representing measure. We also show that in the preceding result, consistency cannot always be replaced by recursiveness of . A Banach space operator TB(χ) is polaroid if points λ ∈ iso σ(T) are poles of the resolvent of T. Let denote, respectively, the approximate point, the Weyl, the Weyl essential approximate, the upper semi–Fredholm and lower semi–Fredholm spectrum of T. For A, B and CB(χ), let M C denote the operator matrix . If A is polaroid on , M 0 satisfies Weyl’s theorem, and A and B satisfy either of the hypotheses (i) A has SVEP at points and B has SVEP at points , or, (ii) both A and A* have SVEP at points , or, (iii) A* has SVEP at points and B * has SVEP at points , then . Here the hypothesis that λ ∈ π0(M C ) are poles of the resolvent of A can not be replaced by the hypothesis are poles of the resolvent of A. For an operator , let . We prove that if A* and B* have SVEP, A is polaroid on π a 0(M C) and B is polaroid on π a 0(B), then .   相似文献

In this paper we obtain a noncommutative multivariable analogue of the classical Nevanlinna–Pick interpolation problem for analytic functions with positive real parts on the open unit disc. Given a function , where is an arbitrary subset of the open unit ball , we find necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a free holomorphic function g with complex coefficients on the noncommutative open unit ball such that
where is the algebra of all bounded linear operators on a Hilbert space . The proof employs several results from noncommutative multivariable operator theory and a noncommutative Cayley transform (introduced and studied in the present paper) acting from the set of all free holomorphic functions with positive real parts to the set of all bounded free holomorphic functions. All the results of this paper are obtained in the more general setting of free holomorphic functions with operator-valued coefficients. As consequences, we deduce some results concerning operator-valued analytic interpolation on the unit ball . Research supported in part by an NSF grant.  相似文献

If denotes the polar decomposition of a bounded linear operator T, then the Aluthge transform of T is defined to be the operator . In this note we study the relationship between the Aluthge transform and the class of complex symmetric operators (T iscomplex symmetric if there exists a conjugate-linear, isometric involution so that T = CT*C). In this note we prove that: (1) the Aluthge transform of a complex symmetric operator is complex symmetric, (2) if T is complex symmetric, then and are unitarily equivalent, (3) if T is complex symmetric, then if and only if T is normal, (4) if and only if T 2 = 0, and (5) every operator which satisfies T 2 = 0 is necessarily complex symmetric. The C*-subalgebra of generated by all multiplication operators by slowly oscillating and piecewise continuous functions, by the Cauchy singular integral operator and by the range of a unitary representation of an amenable group of diffeomorphisms with any nonempty set of common fixed points is studied. A symbol calculus for the C*-algebra and a Fredholm criterion for its elements are obtained. For the C*-algebra composed by all functional operators in , an invertibility criterion for its elements is also established. Both the C*-algebras and are investigated by using a generalization of the local-trajectory method for C*-algebras associated with C*-dynamical systems which is based on the notion of spectral measure. Let k be a finite field of characteristic p, l a prime number different from p, a nontrivial additive character, and a character on . Then ψ defines an Artin-Schreier sheaf on the affine line , and χ defines a Kummer sheaf on the n-dimensional torus . Let be a Laurent polynomial. It defines a k-morphism . In this paper, we calculate the weights of under some non-degeneracy conditions on f. Our results can be used to estimate sums of the form
where are multiplicative characters, is a nontrivial additive character, and f 1 , . . . , f m , f are Laurent polynomials. The research is supported by the NSFC (10525107).  相似文献

We consider one-dimensional difference Schr?dinger equations with real analytic function V(x). Suppose V(x) is a small perturbation of a trigonometric polynomial V 0(x) of degree k 0, and assume positive Lyapunov exponents and Diophantine ω. We prove that the integrated density of states is H?lder continuous for any k > 0. Moreover, we show that is absolutely continuous for a.e. ω. Our approach is via finite volume bounds. I.e., we study the eigenvalues of the problem on a finite interval [1, N] with Dirichlet boundary conditions. Then the averaged number of these Dirichlet eigenvalues which fall into an interval , does not exceed , k > 0. Moreover, for , this averaged number does not exceed exp , for any . For the integrated density of states of the problem this implies that for any . To investigate the distribution of the Dirichlet eigenvalues of on a finite interval [1, N] we study the distribution of the zeros of the characteristic determinants with complexified phase x, and frozen ω, E. We prove equidistribution of these zeros in some annulus and show also that no more than 2k 0 of them fall into any disk of radius exp. In addition, we obtain the lower bound (with δ > 0 arbitrary) for the separation of the eigenvalues of the Dirichlet eigenvalues over the interval [0, N]. This necessarily requires the removal of a small set of energies. Received: February 2006, Accepted: December 2007  相似文献

Let X be a Banach space and a strongly continuous group of linear operators on X. Set and where is the unit circle and denotes the spectrum of T(t). The main result of this paper is: is uniformly continuous if and only if is non-meager. Similar characterizations in terms of the approximate point spectrum and essential spectra are also derived. Let be the algebra of all bounded linear operators on a complex Banach space X and γ(T) be the reduced minimum modulus of operator . In this work, we prove that if , is a surjective linear map such that is an invertible operator, then , for every , if and only if, either there exist two bijective isometries and such that for every , or there exist two bijective isometries and such that for every . This generalizes for a Banach space the Mbekhta’s theorem [12].   相似文献

We consider the computation of stable approximations to the exact solution of nonlinear ill-posed inverse problems F(x) = y with nonlinear operators F : XY between two Hilbert spaces X and Y by the Newton type methods
in the case that only available data is a noise of y satisfying with a given small noise level . We terminate the iteration by the discrepancy principle in which the stopping index is determined as the first integer such that
with a given number τ > 1. Under certain conditions on {α k }, {g α } and F, we prove that converges to as and establish various order optimal convergence rate results. It is remarkable that we even can show the order optimality under merely the Lipschitz condition on the Fréchet derivative F′ of F if is smooth enough.  相似文献

We consider the 2m-th order elliptic boundary value problem Lu = f (x, u) on a bounded smooth domain with Dirichlet boundary conditions on ∂Ω. The operator L is a uniformly elliptic operator of order 2m given by . For the nonlinearity we assume that , where are positive functions and q > 1 if N ≤ 2m, if N > 2m. We prove a priori bounds, i.e, we show that for every solution u, where C > 0 is a constant. The solutions are allowed to be sign-changing. The proof is done by a blow-up argument which relies on the following new Liouville-type theorem on a half-space: if u is a classical, bounded, non-negative solution of ( − Δ) m u  =  u q in with Dirichlet boundary conditions on and q > 1 if N ≤ 2m, if N > 2m then .   相似文献

Cohen, Goresky, and Ji showed that there is a Künneth theorem relating the intersection homology groups to and , provided that the perversity satisfies rather strict conditions. We consider biperversities and prove that there is a Künneth theorem relating to and for all choices of and . Furthermore, we prove that the Künneth theorem still holds when the biperversity p, q is “loosened” a little, and using this we recover the Künneth theorem of Cohen–Goresky–Ji.  相似文献

We give an explicit construction of any simply connected superconformal surface in Euclidean space in terms of a pair of conjugate minimal surfaces . That is superconformal means that its ellipse of curvature is a circle at any point. We characterize the pairs (g, h) of conjugate minimal surfaces that give rise to images of holomorphic curves by an inversion in and to images of superminimal surfaces in either a sphere or a hyperbolic space by an stereographic projection. We also determine the relation between the pairs (g, h) of conjugate minimal surfaces associated to a superconformal surface and its image by an inversion. In particular, this yields a new transformation for minimal surfaces in .  相似文献

Let (H) be an invertible operator on the complex Hilbert space H. For 0 < λ < 1, we extend Yamazaki’s formula of the spectral radius in terms of the λ-Aluthge transform where T = U|T| is the polar decomposition of T. Namely, we prove that where r(T) is the spectral radius of T and ||| · ||| is a unitarily invariant norm such that (B(H), ||| · |||) is a Banach algebra with ||| I ||| = 1. In this article we extend Milnor’s fibration theorem to the case of functions of the form with f, g holomorphic, defined on a complex analytic (possibly singular) germ (X, 0). We further refine this fibration theorem by looking not only at the link of , but also at its multi-link structure, which is more subtle. We mostly focus on the case when X has complex dimension two. Our main result (Theorem 4.4) gives in this case the equivalence of the following three statements:
(i)  The real analytic germ has 0 as an isolated critical value;
(ii)  the multilink is fibered; and
(iii)  if is a resolution of the holomorphic germ , then for each rupture vertex (j) of the decorated dual graph of π one has that the corresponding multiplicities of f, g satisfy: .
Moreover one has that if these conditions hold, then the Milnor-Lê fibration of is a fibration of the multilink . We also give a combinatorial criterium to decide whether or not the multilink is fibered. If the meromorphic germ f/g is semitame, then we show that the Milnor-Lê fibration given by is equivalent to the usual Milnor fibration given by . We finish this article by discussing several realization problems. Research partially supported by CONACYT and DGAPA-UNAM, Mexico, and by CNRS and ECOS, France.  相似文献
