We study the notion of dual quasisemigroups of bounded linear operators as a generalization of that for strongly continuous semigroup and prove some properties similar to the dual of a semigroup, among other things we prove that for reflexive Banach spaces the dual quasisemigroup is strongly continuous on (0,+∞). This allows us to extend some recent criteria of controllability to a general class of evolution equations in reflexive Banach spaces.  相似文献

This article studies Volterra evolution equations from the point of view of control theory, in the case that the generator of the underlying semigroup has a Riesz basis of eigenvectors. Conditions for admissibility of the system's control operator are given in terms of the Carleson embedding properties of certain discrete measures. Moreover, exact and null controllability are expressed in terms of a new interpolation question for analytic functions, providing a generalization of results known to hold for the standard Cauchy problem. The results are illustrated by examples involving heat conduction with memory.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the boundary controllability of non-scalar linear parabolic systems. More precisely, two coupled one-dimensional parabolic equations are considered. We show that, in this framework, boundary controllability is not equivalent and is more complex than distributed controllability. In our main result, we provide necessary and sufficient conditions for the null controllability.  相似文献

Motivated by the celebrated example of Y. Kannai of a linear partial differential operator which is hypoelliptic but not locally solvable, we consider a class of evolution operators with real-analytic coefficients and study their local solvability both in L2 and in the weak sense. In order to do so we are led to propose a generalization of the Nirenberg-Treves condition (ψ) which is suitable to our study.  相似文献

This paper studies the soliton perturbation that are described by three nonlinear wave equations. The adiabatic dynamics of the soliton parameters and the soliton velocity is obtained, in the presence of perturbation terms. The fixed point is also determined in a couple of cases.  相似文献

We present some necessary and sufficient conditions for null controllability for a class of general linear evolution equations on a Banach space with constraints on the control space. We also present a result on the existence of time-optimal controls and some partial results on the maximum principle. In this paper, we prove the existence of interior controls for one-dimensional semi-linear degenerate wave equations. By using a duality argument, we reduce the problem to an observability estimate for the linear degenerate wave equation. First, the unique continuation for the degenerate wave equation is established. By means of this, and the multiplier method, we obtain the observability estimate.  相似文献

The purpose of the present paper is to introduce a new computational algebraic procedure that can easily be applied for solving non-linear partial differential equations (nPDE) especially the celebrated evolutions equations describing any time depended sequences.The crucial step needs an auxiliary variable satisfying special class of ordinary differential equations (ODE) of first order which are introduced new in this field for the first time.The validity and reliability of the method is tested by its application to some non-linear evolution equations leading to new class of solutions related with some new types of special functions.Otherwise, for practical use in science and engineering the algebraic construction of new class of solutions is of fundamental interest and moreover, the proposed approach convinced by its easiness and does not need tedious steps of evaluation and can be used without studying the whole theory.The possibility to write a symbolic software using any programming languages is given.Further, the algorithm works efficiently, is clear structured and can be used in any applications independently from the order and the non-linearity of the underlying nPDE.Therefore, the given novel algebraic method is suitable for a wider class of nPDE in order to augment the solution manifold by an alternative approach.  相似文献

We establish general product formulas for the solutions of non-autonomous abstract Cauchy problems. The main technical tools are evolution semigroups allowing the direct application of existing results on autonomous problems. The results obtained are illustrated by the example of an autonomous diffusion equation perturbed with time dependent potential. We also prove convergence rates for the sequential splitting applied to this problem.  相似文献

The complete symmetry group of an 1+1 evolution equation of maximal symmetry has been demonstrated to be represented by the six-dimensional Lie algebra of point symmetries sl(2,R)sW, where W is the three-dimensional Heisenberg-Weyl algebra. We construct a complete symmetry group of a 1+2 evolution equation ut=(Fy(u)ux) for some functions F using the point symmetries admitted by the equation. The 1+2 equation is not completely specifiable by point symmetries alone for some specific functions F. We make use of Ansätze already reported by Myeni and Leach [S.M. Myeni, P.G.L. Leach, Nonlocal symmetries and complete symmetry groups of evolution equations, J. Nonlinear Math. Phys. 13 (2006) 377-392] which provide a route to the determination of the required generic nonlocal symmetries necessary to supplement the point symmetries for the complete specification of these 1+2 evolution equations. Further we find that taking some suitable linear combination of Lie point symmetries helps to optimise the procedure of specifying the equation. A general result concerning the number of symmetries required to form a complete symmetry group of evolution is presented in the Conclusion.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a class of evolution equations up to fifth-order containing many arbitrary smooth functions from the point of view of nonlinear self-adjointness. The studied class includes many important equations modeling different phenomena. In particular, some of the considered equations were studied previously by other researchers from the point of view of quasi self-adjointness or strictly self-adjointness. Therefore we find new local conservation laws for these equations invoking the obtained results on nonlinearly self-adjointness and the conservation theorem proposed by Nail Ibragimov.  相似文献

Consider an evolution family U=(U(t,s))t?s?0 on a half-line R+ and a semi-linear integral equation . We prove the existence of invariant manifolds of this equation. These manifolds are constituted by trajectories of the solutions belonging to admissible function spaces which contain wide classes of function spaces like function spaces of Lp type, the Lorentz spaces Lp,q and many other function spaces occurring in interpolation theory. The existence of such manifolds is obtained in the case that (U(t,s))t?s?0 has an exponential dichotomy and the nonlinear forcing term f(t,x) satisfies the non-uniform Lipschitz conditions: ‖f(t,x1)−f(t,x2)‖?φ(t)‖x1x2‖ for φ being a real and positive function which belongs to certain classes of admissible function spaces.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish some new theorems about the existence of almost automorphic solutions to nonautonomous evolution equations u(t)=A(t)u(t)+f(t) and u(t)=A(t)u(t)+f(t,u(t)) in Banach spaces. As we will see, our results allow for a more general A(t) to some extent. An example is also given to illustrate our results. In addition, by means of an example, we show that one cannot ensure the existence of almost automorphic solutions to u(t)=A(t)u(t)+f(t) even if the evolution family U(t,s) generated by A(t) is exponentially stable and fAA(X).  相似文献
