We use the Lewis-Riesenfeld theory to determine the exact form of the wavefunctions of a two-dimensionnal harmonic oscillator with time-dependent mass and frequency in presence of the Aharonov-Bohm effect (AB). We find that the auxiliary equation is independent of the AB magnetic flux. In the particular case of quantized AB magnetic flux the wavefunctions coincide exactly with the wavefunctions of the 2D time-dependent harmonic oscillator. PACS: 03.65Ge; 03.65Fd; 03.65Bz  相似文献

The determination of spin and orbital magnetic moments from the free atom to the bulk phase is an intriguing challenge for nanoscience, in particular, since most magnetic recording materials are based on nanostructures. We present temperature-dependent x-ray magnetic circular dichroism measurements of free Co clusters (N=8-22) from which the intrinsic spin and orbital magnetic moments of noninteracting magnetic nanoparticles have been deduced. An exceptionally strong enhancement of the orbital moment is verified for free magnetic clusters which is 4-6 times larger than the bulk value. Our temperature-dependent measurements reveal that the spin orientation along the external magnetic field is nearly saturated at ~20 K and 7 T, while the orbital orientation is clearly not.  相似文献

An expression for the quadrupole moment of any two-body system with structure is derived from a “paralel axes” theorem. Within the weak-field limit of the theory of general relativity, expressions for the gravitational radiation flux of energy and angular momentum from two particles or two spherically symmetric bodies in arbitrary plane motion arising from any type of forces are consequently obtained in terms of time derivatives of the relative coordinates of the system. An estimate of the gravitational flux from any plane motion follows. In particular, the flux from systems with Keplerian and straight-line motion are deduced as special cases. For the general problem of a two-body system with intrinsic quadrupole moment (due to deviation from spherical symmetry), it is found that in addition to the flux from the orbital and the spin motion there is another source of flux—the interaction flux. This is shown explicitly in two special cases—the system of a particle moving in the plane of symmetry of a Jacobi ellipsoid, and that of two spinning rigid rods in plane circular motion with parallel spin and orbital angular momentum. The interaction flux is regarded as the result of interaction of the bodies with gravitational waves. An outline of the method for the calculation of gravitational radiation flux from an n-body system is given. For a three-body system—an astrophysically interesting situation—this is worked out in detail. It is seen that the presence of an unsuspected third body can, by virtue of the interaction power term, increase the generation of gravitational waves significantly.  相似文献

We derive an explicit formula for the quantum mutual entropy as a measure of the total correlations in a multi-level atom interacting with a cavity field. We describe its theoretical basis and discuss its practical relevance. The effect of the number of levels involved on the quantum mutual entropy is demonstrated via examples of three-, four- and five-level atom. Numerical calculations under current experimental conditions are performed and it is found that the number of levels present changes the general features of the correlations dramatically. The supersymetric path integrals in solving the problem of relativistic spinning particle interacting with pseudoscalar potentials is examined. The relative propagator is presented by means of path integral, where the spin degrees of freedom are described by odd Grassmannian variables and the gauge invariant part of the effective action has a form similar to the standard pseudoclassical action given by Berezin and Marinov. After integrating over fermionic variables (Grassmannian variables), the problem is reduced to a nonrelativistic one with an effective supersymetric potential. Some explicit examples are considered, where we have extracted the energy spectrum of the electron and the wave functions. PACS numbers: 03.65. Ca-Formalism, 03.65. In the present paper the integration region Λ with more than one hidden variable is attributed to a pair of particles in the Bell's thought experiment as the local causal events in their common lightcone. Moreover, the possibility of uncommon causal events influencing the spin measurement is not ignored. Then, with regard to the separability of the influence of the uncommon events from configuration of the setup, and by relying on local realism and coherency, each of the Bell's inequality versions is obtained by measuring spin in three and four different directions. Given a constant of motion for the one-dimensional harmonic oscillator with linear dissipation in the velocity, the problem to get the Hamiltonian for this system is pointed out, and the quantization up to second order in the perturbation approach is used to determine the modification on the eigenvalues when dissipation is taken into consideration. By solving the Diras equation for the motion of an electron (c) in the circularly polarized electromagnetic field it is shown that the intrinsic electron spin forms an interaction Hamiltonian with a time independent fieldB (3) of electromagnetic radiation in the vacuum. 基于广义梯度近似密度泛函和全势能线性缀加平面波方法,本文对聚铜络合物[Cu(L)μ-1,3-N3]n(ClO4)n(其中L=tridentate Schiff base为三齿席夫基)的态密度和磁矩进行了计算.磁矩计算结果表明:①该聚铜络合物晶体格子的总磁矩为1.00 μB;②中心铜原子(离子)具有最大的原子磁矩,为0.531 μB;③铜原子和它周围最邻近的氮原子的原子磁矩是该聚铜络合物晶体格子总磁矩的主要来源.通过对中心铜原子及其最邻近氮原子的自旋态密度图进行分析,得出了铜原子和它周围最邻近氮原子的磁性主要分别来源于它们的d轨道和p轨道,同时还发现了中心铜离子的d轨道与叠氮末端氮原子的p轨道之间存在杂化现象, 以及中心铜离子向叠氮末端氮原子的自旋退局域化现象.自旋退局域化效应通过叠氮这一旁道使相邻两中心铜离子发生铁磁性相互作用.  相似文献

The problem of a relativistic spinning particle interacting with a weak gravitational plane wave in (3+1) dimensions is formulated in the frame work of covariant supersymmetric path integrals. The relative Green function is expressed through a functional integral over bosonic trajectories that describe the external motion and fermionic variables that describe the spin degrees of freedom. The (3+1) dimensional problem is reduced to the (1+1) dimensional one by using an identity. Next, the relative propagator is exactly calculated and the wave functions are extracted. The Dirac-Pauli equation is used to obtain the exact equation of spin motion for spin-1/2 particles with an anomalous magnetic moment in a constant and uniform magnetic field. Exact formulas are established for the angular velocity of the revolution of such particles along circular orbits and the rotation of the particle spin with respect to momentum. Mechanisms of ‘environmental decoherence’ such as surface scattering, Elliot–Yafet process and precession mechanisms, as well as their influence on the spin phase relaxation are considered and compared. It is shown that the ‘spin ballistic’ regime is possible, when the phase relaxation length for the spin part of the wave function (L(s)) is much greater than the phase relaxation length for the ‘orbital part’ (L(e)). In the presence of an additional magnetic field, the spin part of the electron's wave function (WF) acquires a phase shift due to additional spin precession about that field. If the structure length L is chosen to be L(s)>L>L(e), it is possible to ‘wash out’ the quantum interference related to the phase coherence of the ‘orbital part’ of the WF, retaining at the same time that related to the phase coherence of the spin part and, hence, to reveal corresponding conductance oscillations.  相似文献

We adapt ideas coming from Quantum Mechanics to develop a non-commutative strategy for the analysis of some systems of ordinary differential equations. We show that the solution of such a system can be described by an unbounded, self-adjoint and densely defined operator H which we call, in analogy with Quantum Mechanics, the Hamiltonian of the system. We study the dynamics of an electron confined in a one-dimensional double-well potential in the presence of driving external magnetic fields. The orbital motion of the electron is coupled to the spin dynamics by spin-orbit interaction of the Dresselhaus type. We derive an effective time-dependent model Hamiltonian for the orbital motion of the electron and obtain a condition for synchronization of the orbital and the spin dynamics. We find an analytical expression for the Arnold 'tongue' and propose an experimental scheme for realizing the proposed synchronization.  相似文献

Magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) in X-ray absorption has been measured at the L 2, 3 edges of Fe in ex-situ grown Fe and Fe 0.50 Co 0.48 V 0.02 films by means of the transmission method. A new approach is developed for fitting the observed transmittance, which describes the resonance lineshapes as (generalized) Fano profiles. Analytical integration of each single resonance allows a more reliable determination of the orbital and spin magnetic moments based on the MCD sum rules. The results are consistent with an increase of the Fe spin and orbital magnetic moment in Fe-Co alloys as obtained by other experiments and band structure calculations.
