This paper solves numerically the full time-dependent Schrdinger equation based on the rigid rotor model, and proposes a novel strategy to determine the optimal time delay of the two laser pulses to manipulate the molecular selective alignment. The results illustrate that the molecular alignment generated by the first pulse can be suppressed or enhanced selectively, the relative populations of even and odd rotational states in the final rotational wave packet can be manipulated selectively by precisely inserting the peak of the second laser pulse at the time when the slope for the alignment parameter by the first laser locates a local maximum for the even rotational states and a local minimum for the odds, and vice versa. The selective alignment can be further optimised by selecting the intensity ratio of the two laser pulses on the condition that the total laser intensity and pulse duration are kept constant. 相似文献

The eigen-frequencies of the axial w-mode oscillations of hyperon stars are examined.It is shown that as the appearance of hyperons softens the equation of state of the super-density matter,the frequency of gravitational waves from the axial w-mode of hyperon star becomes smaller than that of a traditional neutron star at the same stellar mass.Moreover,the eigenfrequencies of hyperon stars also have scaling universality.It is shown that the EURO thirdgeneration gravitational-wave detector has the potential to detect the gravitational-wave signal emitted from the axial w-mode oscillations of a hyperon star. 相似文献

The time calibration for end cap TOF system of BESⅢ is studied in this paper. It has achieved about 110 ps time resolution for muons in dimu events. The pulse height correction using electronic scan curve and the predicted time calculated using Kalman filter method are introduced. Detecting the X-ray emission of pulsars and obtaining the photons' time of arrival are the foundational steps in autonomous navigation via X-ray pulsar measurement. The precision of a pulse's time of arrival is mainly determined by the precision of photon arrival time measurement. In this work, a silicon drift detector is used to measure photon energy and arrival time. The measurement system consists of a signal detector, a processing unit, a signal acquisition unit and a data receiving unit. This system acquires the energy resolution and arrival time information of photons. In particular, background noise with different energies disturbs pulse profile forming, the system can also achieve a high signal-to-noise ratio profile. Ground test results show that this system can be applied in autonomous navigation based on X-ray pulsar measurement. 相似文献

<正>The effects of time delay on the fluctuation properties of a bistable system are investigated by simulating its normalised correlation function C(s).Three cases including linear delay,cubic delay and global delay in the system are considered respectively.The simulation results indicate that the linear delay enhances the fluctuation of the system (reduces the stability of the system) while the cubic delay and global delay weaken it(enforce the stability of the system),and the effect of cubic delay is more pronounced than the linear delay and global delay. 相似文献

The controllable transition between Turing and antispiral patterns is studied by using a time-delayed-feedback strategy in a FitzHugh-Nagumo model.We treat the time delay as a perturbation and analyse the effect of the time delay on the Turing and Hopf instabilities near the Turing-Hopf codimension-two phase space.Numerical simulations show that the transition between the Turing patterns(hexagon,stripe,and honeycomb),the dual-mode antispiral,and the antispiral by applying appropriate feedback parameters.The dual-mode antispiral pattern originates from the competition between the Turing and Hopf instabilities.Our results have shown the flexibility of the time delay on controlling the pattern formations near the Turing-Hopf codimension-two phase space. 相似文献

noise intensity, correlation intensity, and signal frequency, once a

Methods of finding quasi-normal modes of non-rotating relativistic stars have been well established,however,none of the existing treatments which take spacetime and fluid oscillations fully into account can determine modes of long decay time,e.g.,the p and g mode series,or the f modes for stars with low compactness ratio (M/R). In this paper we show how the quasi-normal modes of long lifetime can be determined through refinements of a treatment originally due to Detweiler and Lindblom. The determination of the p mode series has been argued in the literature to have implication on the life time of gravitational wave sources and stellar stability. In this paper we 1) provide detailed steps in our treatment to facilitate future effort in this direction; 2) correct mistakes in the literature on the formulation; and 3) analyse the accuracy of the quasi-normal mode frequencies obtained and the limitations of the treatment. 相似文献

In this paper, the principal resonance response of a stochastically driven elastic impact(EI) system with time-delayed cubic velocity feedback is investigated. Firstly, based on the method of multiple scales, the steady-state response and its dynamic stability are analyzed in deterministic and stochastic cases, respectively. It is shown that for the case of the multivalued response with the frequency island phenomenon, only the smallest amplitude of the steady-state response is stable under a certain time delay, which is different from the case of the traditional frequency response. Then, a design criterion is proposed to suppress the jump phenomenon, which is induced by the saddle-node bifurcation. The effects of the feedback parameters on the steady-state responses, as well as the size, shape, and location of stability regions are studied. Results show that the system responses and the stability boundaries are highly dependent on these parameters. Furthermore, with the purpose of suppressing the amplitude peak and governing the resonance stability, appropriate feedback gain and time delay are derived. 相似文献

ASTROD-GW(ASTROD [astrodynamical space test of relativity using optical devices] optimized for gravitational wave detection) is a gravitational-wave mission with the aim of detecting gravitational waves from massive black holes,extreme mass ratio inspirals(EMRIs) and galactic compact binaries together with testing relativistic gravity and probing dark energy and cosmology. Mission orbits of the 3 spacecrafts forming a nearly equilateral triangular array are chosen to be near the Sun–Earth Lagrange points L3, L4, and L5. The 3 spacecrafts range interferometrically with one another with arm length about 260 million kilometers. For 260 times longer arm length, the detection sensitivity of ASTRODGW is 260 fold better than that of e LISA/NGO in the lower frequency region by assuming the same acceleration noise.Therefore, ASTROD-GW will be a better cosmological probe. In previous papers, we have worked out the time delay interferometry(TDI) for the ecliptic formation. To resolve the reflection ambiguity about the ecliptic plane in source position determination, we have changed the basic formation into slightly inclined formation with half-year precessionperiod. In this paper, we optimize a set of 10-year inclined ASTROD-GW mission orbits numerically using ephemeris framework starting at June 21, 2035, including cases of inclination angle with 0°(no inclination), 0.5°, 1.0°, 1.5°, 2.0°, 2.5°,and 3.0°. We simulate the time delays of the first and second generation TDI configurations for the different inclinations, and compare/analyse the numerical results to attain the requisite sensitivity of ASTROD-GW by suppressing laser frequency noise below the secondary noises. A perturbative method of computing the total travel time of both null and lightlike rays in arbitrary static spherically symmetric spacetimes in the weak field limit is proposed.The resultant total time takes a quasi-series form of the impact parameter.The coefficient of this series at a certain order n is shown to be determined by the asymptotic expansion of the metric functions to the order n+1.For the leading order(s),the time delay,as well as the difference between the time delays of two types of relativistic signals,is shown to take a universal form for all SSS spacetimes.This universal form depends on the mass M and a post-Newtonian parameter y of the spacetime.The analytical result is numerically verified using the central black hole of galaxy M87 as the gravitational lensing center. 相似文献

为了满足在高精度波分复用/时分复用光采样系统中,采样光脉冲时间抖动低于100 fs的要求,开发了一套基于自相关法测量时间延迟的系统。通过光纤耦合器连接一路参考光路将光脉冲在时域上进行"复制",并使初始光脉冲和"复制"光脉冲相关,得到参考光路和被测光路的精确光程差,进而固定参考光路并接入不同被测光路从而得到多路被测光路之间相对延时。实验结果表明,利用自相关法测量脉冲时间间隔精度优于50 fs,满足波分复用/时分复用光采样系统研究需要。 相似文献

In this paper, the Noether symmetries and the conserved quantities for a Hamilton system with time delay are discussed. Firstly, the variational principles with time delay for the Hamilton system are given, and the Hamilton canonical equations with time delay are established. Secondly, according to the invariance of the function under the infinitesimal transformations of the group, the basic formulas for the variational of the Hamilton action with time delay are discussed,the definitions and the criteria of the Noether symmetric transformations and quasi-symmetric transformations with time delay are obtained, and the relationship between the Noether symmetry and the conserved quantity with time delay is studied. A new technique for generating a continuous range of true time delay values is introduced. Heating optical fiber in order to change the effective index of the guided mode produces time delays. A 45-m section of single-mode silica fiber is demonstrated to produce a continuous range of time delay values from 0 to 211 ps over a temperature tuning range of 50°C (30–80°C). A thermal time delay factor is introduced and found to be 0.096 ps/m°C for Corning LEAF fiber. A 7.66-m section of multimode Lucina polymer fiber is demonstrated to produce a range of time delay values from 0 to 32 ps over a temperature tuning range of 30°C (30–60°C). The thermal time delay factor for this fiber is −0.1427 ps/m°C. 相似文献

自时滞同步是指保持混沌系统结构和参数不变的情况下, 使时滞系统和原系统同步, 从而避免了现实中因为时滞而产生的各种问题. 本文以时滞复Lorenz系统为例, 研究其动态特性及时滞因数的影响, 并提出了一种非线性反馈控制器实现了复Lorenz系统的自时滞混沌同步. 数值仿真结果验证了该控制器的有效性. 该控制器只对部分状态进行控制, 实现了所有状态的同步, 原理简单, 易于工程实现.

Interconnect power and repeater area are important in the interconnect optimization of nanometer scale integrated circuits.Based on the RLC interconnect delay model,by wire sizing,wire spacing and adopting low-swing interconnect technology,this paper proposed a power-area optimization model considering delay and bandwidth constraints simultaneously.The optimized model is verified based on 65-nm and 90-nm complementary metal-oxide semiconductor(CMOS) interconnect parameters.The verified results show that averages of 36% of interconnect power and 26% of repeater area can be saved under 65-nm CMOS process.The proposed model is especially suitable for the computer-aided design of nanometer scale systems-on-chip. 相似文献

In this paper, a kind of discrete delay food-limited model obtained by Euler method is investigated, where the discrete delay τ is regarded as a parameter. By analyzing the associated characteristic equation, the linear stability of this model is studied. It is shown that Neimark-Sacker bifurcation occurs when τ crosses some critical values. The explicit formulae which determine the stability, direction, and other properties of bifurcating periodic solution are derived by means of the theory of center manifold and normal form.
