We study integrable cases of pairing BCS hamiltonians containing several types of fermions. We prove that there exist three classes of such integrable models associated with classical rational r  -matrices and Lie algebras gl(2m)gl(2m), sp(2m)sp(2m) and so(2m)so(2m) correspondingly. We diagonalize the constructed hamiltonians by means of the algebraic Bethe ansatz. In the partial case of two types of fermions (m=2m=2) the obtained models may be interpreted as N=ZN=Z proton–neutron integrable models. In particular, in the case of sp(4)sp(4) we recover the famous integrable proton–neutron model of Richardson.  相似文献

The generalized (1+1)-D(1+1)-D non-linear Schrödinger (NLS) theory with particular integrable boundary conditions is considered. More precisely, two distinct types of boundary conditions, known as soliton preserving (SP) and soliton non-preserving (SNP), are implemented into the classical glNglN NLS model. Based on this choice of boundaries the relevant conserved quantities are computed and the corresponding equations of motion are derived. A suitable quantum lattice version of the boundary generalized NLS model is also investigated. The first non-trivial local integral of motion is explicitly computed, and the spectrum and Bethe ansatz equations are derived for the soliton non-preserving boundary conditions.  相似文献

An analogue of the correspondence between GL(k)GL(k)-conjugacy classes of matricial polynomials and line bundles is given for KK-conjugacy classes, where K⊂GL(k)KGL(k) is one of the following: maximal parabolic, maximal torus, GL(k−1)GL(k1) embedded diagonally. The generalised Legendre transform construction of hyperkähler metrics is studied further, showing that many known hyperkähler metrics (including the ones on coadjoint orbits) arise in this way, and giving a large class of new (pseudo-)hyperkähler metrics, analogous to monopole metrics.  相似文献

The XXX Gaudin model with generic integrable open boundaries specified by the most general non-diagonal reflecting matrices is studied. Besides the inhomogeneous parameters, the associated Gaudin operators have six free parameters which break the U(1)U(1)-symmetry. With the help of the off-diagonal Bethe ansatz, we successfully obtained the eigenvalues of these Gaudin operators and the corresponding Bethe ansatz equations.  相似文献

The one-loop worldsheet quantum corrections to the energy of spinning strings on R×S3R×S3 within AdS5×S5AdS5×S5 are reexamined. The explicit expansion in the effective 't Hooft coupling λ=λ/J2λ=λ/J2 is rigorously derived. The expansion contains both analytic and non-analytic terms in λλ, as well as exponential corrections. Furthermore, we pin down the origin of the terms that are not captured by the quantum string Bethe ansatz, which only produces analytic terms in λλ. It is shown that the analytic terms arise from string fluctuations within the S3S3, whereas the non-analytic and exponential terms, which are not captured by the Bethe ansatz, originate from the fluctuations in all directions within the supersymmetric sigma model on AdS5×S5AdS5×S5. We also comment on the case of spinning string in AdS3×S1AdS3×S1.  相似文献

Following the approach to pseudo-Riemannian symmetric spaces developed in [I. Kath, M. Olbrich, On the structure of pseudo-Riemannian symmetric spaces, arXiv:math.DG/0408249, 2004] we exhibit examples of indefinite hyper-Kähler symmetric spaces with non-abelian holonomy. Moreover, we classify indecomposable hyper-Kähler symmetric spaces whose metric has signature (4,4n)(4,4n). Such spaces exist if and only if n∈{0,1,3}n{0,1,3}.  相似文献

By employing the higher (N>5N>5)-dimensional version of the Wu–Yang ansatz we obtain magnetically charged new black hole solutions in the Einstein–Yang–Mills–Lovelock (EYML) theory with second (α2α2) and third (α3α3) order parameters. These parameters, where α2α2 is also known as the Gauss–Bonnet parameter, modify the horizons (and the resulting thermodynamical properties) of the black holes. It is shown also that asymptotically (r→∞r), these parameters contribute to an effective cosmological constant—without cosmological constant—so that the solution behaves de-Sitter (anti de-Sitter) like.  相似文献

It is consistent with the measurement of θ13∼0.15θ130.15 by Daya Bay to suppose that, in addition to being unitary, the neutrino mixing matrix is also almost Hermitian, and thereby only a small perturbation from diag(+1,−1,−1)diag(+1,1,1) in a suitable basis. We suggest this possibility simply as an easily falsifiable ansatz, as well as to offer a potentially useful means of organizing the experimental data. We explore the phenomenological implications of this ansatz and parametrize one type of deviation from the leading order relation |Ve3|≈|Vτ1||Ve3||Vτ1|. We also emphasize the group-invariant angle between orthogonal matrices as a means of comparing to data. The discussion is purely phenomenological, without any attempt to derive the condition V≈VVV from a fundamental theory.  相似文献

The large-n expansion is applied to the calculation of thermal critical exponents describing the critical behavior of spatially anisotropic d-dimensional systems at m  -axial Lifshitz points. We derive the leading non-trivial 1/n1/n correction for the perpendicular correlation-length exponent νL2νL2 and hence several related thermal exponents to order O(1/n)O(1/n). The results are consistent with known large-n expansions for d  -dimensional critical points and isotropic Lifshitz points, as well as with the second-order epsilon expansion about the upper critical dimension d?=4+m/2d?=4+m/2 for generic m∈[0,d]m[0,d]. Analytical results are given for the special case d=4d=4, m=1m=1. For uniaxial Lifshitz points in three dimensions, 1/n1/n coefficients are calculated numerically. The estimates of critical exponents at d=3d=3, m=1m=1 and n=3n=3 are discussed.  相似文献
