We prove that there exists an automorphism of ℂ2 tangent to the identity with a domain of attraction D to the origin, biholomorphic to ℂ2, along a degenerate characteristic direction. Our automorphism of ℂ2 is conjugate to a translation in D. We also prove the existence of a curve Γ, a biholomorphic copy of ℂ, entirely contained in the boundary of D. In our construction Γ is tangent to the z-axis in a neighborhood of the origin. The automorphisms we construct also fix the w-axis; therefore we obtain D, a Fatou–Bieberbach domain that does not intersect two biholomorphic copies of ℂ locally transversal at the origin.  相似文献

The Roper-Suffridge extension operator provides a way of extending a (locally) univalent functionfεH(U) to a (locally) biholomorphic mappingFH(Bn). In this paper, we give a simplified proof of the Roper-Suffridge theorem: iff is convex, then so isF. We also show that iffS *, theF is starlike and that iff is a Bloch function inU, thenF is a Bloch mapping onB n. Finally, we investigate some open problems. In this paper, a class of biholomorphic mappings named quasi-convex mapping of order α in the unit ball of a complex Banach space is introduced. When the Banach space is confined to ℂ n , we obtain the relation between this class of mappings and the convex mappings. Furthermore, the growth and covering theorems of this class of mappings are given on the unit ball of a complex Banach space X. Finally, we get the second order terms coefficient estimations of the homogeneous expansion of quasi-convex mapping of order α defined on the polydisc in ℂ n and on the unit ball in a complex Banach space, respectively. In this paper, we generalize the Roper-Suffridge extension operator from Cn to Banach spaces. It is proved that this operator preserves the biholomorphic ? starlikeness on some domains in Banach spaces. From these, we may construct a lots of concrete examples about biholomorphic ? starlike mappings on some domains Ω in Cn, or Hilbert spaces, or Banach spaces from univalent ? starlike functions on the unit disc U in C. Meanwhile, the growth theorems of the corresponding mappings are given. Some results of Gong and Liu, Roper and Suffridge, Graham et al. in Cn are extended to Hilbert spaces or Banach spaces.  相似文献

We study whether the basin of attraction of a sequence of automorphisms of k is biholomorphic to k. In particular, we show that given any sequence of automorphisms with the same attracting fixed point, the basin is biholomorphic to k, if every map is iterated sufficiently many times. We also construct Fatou-Bieberbach domains in2 whose boundaries are four-dimensional.  相似文献

In this article, the generalized Roper-Suffridge extension operator in Banach spaces for locally biholomorphic mappings is introduced. It is proved that this operator preserves the starlikeness on some domains in Banach spaces but does not preserves convexity for some cases. Moreover, the growth theorem, covering theorem, and the radius of starlikeness are discussed. Some results of Roper and Suffridge, Gong and Liu, Graham et al in C^n are extended to Hilbert spaces or Banach spaces.  相似文献

LetB n be the unit ball of ℂn and ℤ ≅ Γ ⊂ AutB n be generated by a parabolic element of AutB n. We show that the quotientB n/Γ is biholomorphic to a holomorphically convex domain of ℂn, whose automorphism group is explicity described. It follows thatB n/ℤ is Stein for any free action of ℤ. The model 4-dimensional CR-cubic in ℂ3 has the following “model” property: it is (essentially) the unique locally homogeneous 4-dimensional CR-manifold in ℂ3 with finite-dimensional infinitesimal automorphism algebra \mathfrakg\mathfrak{g} and non-trivial isotropy subalgebra. We study and classify, up to local biholomorphic equivalence, all \mathfrakg\mathfrak{g}-homogeneous hypersurfaces in ℂ3 and also classify the corresponding local transitive actions of the model algebra \mathfrakg\mathfrak{g} on hypersurfaces in ℂ3.  相似文献

In this paper, the authors establish distortion theorems for various subfamilies Hk(B) of holomorphic mappings defined in the unit ball in Cn with critical points, where k is any positive integer. In particular, the distortion theorem for locally biholomorphic mappings is obtained when k tends to oo. These distortion theorems give lower bound son det f(z) and Redet f'(z). As an application of these distortion theorems, the authors give lower and upper bounds of Bloch constants for the subfamilies βk (M) of holomorphic mappings. Moreover, these distortion theorems are sharp. When B is the unit disk in C, these theorems reduce to the results of Liu and Minda. A new distortion result of Re det f'(z) for locally biholomorphic mappings is also obtained.  相似文献

We introduce a new notion of the order of a linear invariant family of locally biholomorphic mappings on then-ball. This order, which we call the norm order, is defined in terms of the norm rather than the trace of the “second Taylor coefficient operator” of mappings in a family. Sharp bounds on ‖Df(z)‖ and ‖f(z)‖, a general covering theorem for arbitrary LIFs and results about convexity, starlikeness, injectivity and other geometric properties of mappings given in terms of the norm order illustrate the useful nature of this notion. The norm order has a much broader range of influence on the geometric properties of mappings than does the “trace” order that the present authors and many others have used in recent years.  相似文献

In this paper we study the dependence of the local geometry of real-analytic hypersuffaces in ℂ n on the dimension of the group of biholomorphic automorphisms of this surface. We also classify the hypersurfaces in terms of this group. We present some examples showing that the classes of the given construction are not empty. Abstract Let SO(n) act in the standard way on ℂn and extend this action in the usual way to ℂn+1 = ℂ ⊕ ℂn. It is shown that a nonsingular special Lagrangian submanifold L ⊂ ℂn+1 that is invariant under this SO(n)-action intersects the fixed ℂ ⊂ ℂn+1 in a nonsingular real-analytic arc A (which may be empty). If n > 2, then A has no compact component. Conversely, an embedded, noncompact nonsingular real-analytic arc A ⊂ ℂ lies in an embedded nonsingular special Lagrangian submanifold that is SO(n)-invariant. The same existence result holds for compact A if n = 2. If A is connected, there exist n distinct nonsingular SO(n)-invariant special Lagrangian extensions of A such that any embedded nonsingular SO(n)-invariant special Lagrangian extension of A agrees with one of these n extensions in some open neighborhood of A. Known results concerning the extension of normalized Loewner chains defined on the unit disk or the euclidean unit ball to higher dimensions, using either a modified Roper-Suffridge extension operator or the Pfaltzgraff-Suffridge extension operator, are shown to hold true in the more general case of L d -Loewner chains. Associated to each L d -Loewner chain on the unit ball, d ∈ [1,∞], is an evolution family and, as we show holds for the case d < ∞, a Herglotz vector field. We consider these with regard to the extended Loewner chains. To accommodate non-normalized mappings and chains, branches of extension operators are developed. As a corollary to our results, we find that these extension operators also preserve the property of starlikeness of the range of a biholomorphic mapping with respect to the point 0 lying in the closure of the range. We consider how these results can be generalized to the setting of complex Hilbert spaces and conclude with several examples.  相似文献

Let X be a complex Banach space with norm ‖ · ‖, B be the unit ball in X, D n be the unit polydisc in ℂ n . In this paper, we introduce a class of holomorphic mappings on B or D n . Let f(x) be a normalized locally biholomorphic mapping on B such that (Df(x))−1 f(x) ∈ and f(x) − x has a zero of order k + 1 at x = 0. We obtain coefficient estimates for f(x). These results unify and generalize many known results.
