Using the Monte Carlo samples of about 800 pb-1 and 500pb-1 generated at and around 3.773GeV with BOSS (BESIII Offline Software System) 6.0.2 and BOSS 6.1.0, we have studied the branching fractions for D0 →K-l+νl and D0 →πi-l+νl (l=e, μ). According to the simulation results, the expected precision of these measurements for 20fb-1 ψ(3770) data which will be collected on BESIII are well estimated.  相似文献

Using a data sample of about 33pb^-1 collected at and around √s = 3.773 GeV with the BES-Ⅱ detector at the BEPC, we have directly measured the branching fraction for inclusive semimuonic decay of neutral D mesons to be BF(D^0 → μ^+X) = (7.2 ± 1.5 ± 0.8)%.  相似文献

We discuss the Monte Carlo studies of searching for the rare and forbidden pure-leptonic and semi-leptonic decays of D+,0 and D+s mesons, based on a full Monte Carlo simulation for the BES-III detector, with the BES-III Offline Software System. The experimental sensitivities of searching for 36 rare and forbidden charm meson decays are estimated.  相似文献

The MILC Collaboration has been performing realistic simulations of full QCD with 2 + 1 flavors of improved staggered quarks. Our simulations allow for controlled continuum and chiral extrapolations. I present results for the light pseudoscalar sector: masses and decay constants, quark masses and Gasser-Leutwyler low-energy constants. In addition I will present some results for heavy-light mesons, decay constants and semileptonic form factors, obtained in collaboration with the HPQCD and Fermilab lattice Collaborations. Such calculations will help in the extraction of CKM matrix elements from experimental measurements.  相似文献

We present Monte Carlo studies on the singly tagged D mesons, which are crucial in the absolute measurements of D meson decays, based on a full Monte Carlo simulation for the BES-III detector, with the BES-III Offline Software System. The expected detection efficiencies and mass resolutions of the tagged D mesons are well estimated.  相似文献

We calculate the weak form factors of the decays Be(B) → Dlv^- by using the chiral current correlator within the framework of the QCD light-cone sum rules (LCSRs). The expressions of the form factors only depend on the leading twist distribution amplitude (DA) of the D meson. Three models of the D-meson distribution amplitude are employed. Our prediction, by using the D-meson distribution amplitude with the exponential suppression at the end points, favours the three-points sum rule (3PSR) approach with the Coulomb corrections included, and is compatible with other approaches.  相似文献

The semileptonic decay Bπ is studied starting from a simple quark model that takes into into account the effect of the B*-resonance. A novel, multiply subtracted, Omnès dispersion relation has been implemented to extend the predictions of the quark model to all q2 values accessible in the physical decay. By comparison to the experimental data, we extract | V ub| = (3.4±0.2(exp.)±0.7(theory))0-3. As a further test of the model, we have also studied Dπ and DK decays for which we get good agreement with experiment.  相似文献

The off-center displacement of Co^2+ ion in SrO crystal is investigated by analyzing its anisotropic g factors gx, gy and gz through diagonalization of the 6 × 6 energy matrix within ^4T1 ground state for a 3d^7 ion under rhombic symmetry. In the matrix, the contributions from the admixtures of various J(= 1/2, 3/2, 5/2) states and the fourth-order term Dn of rhombic crystal-fields and the ligand orbitals and spin-orbit coupling interactions, which are usually ignored in the previous studies, are considered. Both g factors (gx = 4.172, gy = 5.004 and gz = 2.133) and the off-displacement value (△ R ≈ 0.023 am) show good agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

In the framework of factorization we study direct CP violation in the decays of bottom hadrons containing a strange quark or a charm quark, H b f ρ 0(ω)→f π + π (H b is the bottom hadron and f is the product hadron) including the effect of ρω mixing. We find that the CP violating asymmetry can be enhanced greatly via the ρω mixing mechanism when the invariant mass of the π + π pair is in the vicinity of the ω resonance. For the processes associated with bd transitions, e.g. , , B c D π + π , B c D *− π + π , Ξ b 0Λ π + π , and Ω b Ξ π + π , the maximum CP violating asymmetries can reach about −84%, while for the processes associated with bs transitions, e.g. , , B c D s π + π , B c D s *− π + π , Ξ b Ξ π + π , and Ω b Ω π + π , the CP violating asymmetries can be enhanced to about 95%. Furthermore, taking ρω mixing into account we calculate the b-hadron decay branching ratios. We also discuss the possibility to observe the predicted CP violating asymmetries at the LHC.  相似文献

Arguments coming from Quantum Field Theory are supplemented with a 1-loop perturbative calculation to settle the non-unitarity of mixing matrices linking renormalized mass eigenstates to bare flavor states for non-degenerate coupled fermions. We simultaneously diagonalize the kinetic and mass terms and counterterms in the renormalized Lagrangian. SU(2) L gauge invariance constrains the mixing matrix in charged currents of renormalized mass states, for example the Cabibbo matrix, to stay unitary. Leaving aside CP violation, we observe that the mixing angles exhibit, within experimental uncertainty, a very simple breaking pattern of SU(2) f horizontal symmetry linked to the algebra of weak neutral currents, the origin of which presumably lies beyond the Standard Model. It concerns on the one hand the three quark mixing angles; on the other hand a neutrino-like pattern in which θ 23 is maximal and tan (2θ 12)=2. The Cabibbo angle fulfills the condition tan (2θ c )=1/2 and θ 12 for neutrinos satisfies accordingly the “quark–lepton complementarity condition” θ c +θ 12=π/4. θ 13=±5.7⋅10−3 are the only values obtained for the third neutrino mixing angle that lie within present experimental bounds. Flavor symmetries, their breaking by a non-degenerate mass spectrum, and their entanglement with the gauge symmetry, are scrutinized; the special role of flavor rotations as a very mildly broken symmetry of the Standard Model is outlined.  相似文献

Heavy-flavor semileptonic decays are expected to dominate the spectrum of non-photonic electrons produced from collisions at the energies of the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The non-photonic electron yield is suppressed by approximately a factor of 5 in central Au + Au events at  GeV relative to p+p events with the same collision energy. Most theoretical models predict less non-photonic-electron suppression than is observed experimentally. We present a preliminary measurement of the yield of non-photonic electrons in Cu + Cu events at  GeV, as well as the nuclear modification factor.  相似文献

Single crystal electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) studies on Cu(II)-doped magnesium potassium phosphate hexahydrate have been carried out at room temperature. The temperature dependence of g and A values has been obtained for the polycrystalline sample and the ground state is unambiguously identified. These results indicate the existence of a dynamic Jahn-Teller distortion for Cu(II) ion. The g and A tensor direction cosines are evaluated and compared with Mg-O directions, which confirms that Cu(II) enters substitutionally in the lattice.  相似文献

We evaluate semileptonic and two-meson nonleptonic decays of the B c - meson in the framework of a nonrelativistic quark model. The former are done in spectator approximation using one-body current operators at the quark level. Our model reproduces the constraints of heavy-quark spin symmetry obtained in the limit of infinite heavy-quark mass. For the two-meson nonleptonic decays we work in factorization approximation. We compare our results to the ones obtained in different relativistic approaches.  相似文献

The form factors of the weak currents, which appear in the semileptonic decays of the heavy pseudoscalar mesons are calculated within the quark confinement model by taking into account, for the first time, the structure of heavy-meson vertex and the finite quark mass contribution in the heavy-quark propagators. The results are in quite good agreement with the experimental data. Received: 9 June 2000 / Accepted: 15 August 2000  相似文献

The energy spectrum of neutrino-induced upward-going muons in MACRO has been analyzed in terms of effects of violating relativity principles, keeping standard mass-induced atmospheric neutrino oscillations as the dominant source of ν μν τ transitions. The data disfavor these exotic possibilities even at a subdominant level, and stringent 90% C.L. limits are placed on the Lorentz invariance violation parameter |Δυ| < 6 × 10−24 at sin(2ϑυ) = 0 and |Δυ| < (2.5–5) × 10−26 at sin(2ϑυ) = ±1. These limits can also be reinterpreted as upper bounds on the parameters describing violation of the equivalence principle. The text was submitted by the author in English.  相似文献

The J/ψ radiative decays are suggested as promising modes for glueball search. A full Monte Carlo simulation of J/ψ →γηη and γηη, based on the design of BESIII detector, is performed to study the sensitivity of searching for a possible tensor glueball at BESIII.  相似文献

Based on the naive quark model, we calculate angular distributions for heavy quarkonium decays into pN* (1440), decuplet baryon pairs, and octet-decuplet baryon pairs. The general formulae of angular distributions are given explicitly. Quark mass effects on the violation of the helicity conservation and the prospect to look for them in J/ψ hadronic decays are discussed.  相似文献

By means of Tersoff and Morse potentials, a three-dimensional molecular dynamics simulation is performed to study atomic force microscopy cutting on silicon monocrystal surface. The interatomic forces between the workpiece and the pin tool and the atoms of workpiece themselves are calculated. A screw dislocation is introduced into workpiece Si. It is found that motion of dislocations does not occur during the atomic force microscopy cutting processing. Simulation results show that the shear stress acting on dislocation is far below the yield strength of Si.  相似文献

In this contribution a first STAR measurement on two heavy-flavor particle correlations in p+p collisions at RHIC is presented. Heavy-flavor (charm and bottom) events are identified and separated on a statistical basis by the azimuthal correlation of their decay electrons and open charm mesons, which provide decisive information about the underlying production process. The azimuthal correlation distribution exhibits a two-peak structure which can be attributed to B decays on the near side and predominantly charm pair production on the away side. These assumptions are supported by dedicated simulations using PYTHIA and MC@NLO event generators. This new correlation method has the potential for comprehensive energy loss measurements of heavy quarks in heavy-ion collisions.
