As is known, the differential equation for two-phase filtration with account for capillarity was obtained in [1], and later integrated numerically for the case of a uniform stratum of finite length in [2]. Other versions of the solution of the Rapoport-Leas equation or the system which is equivalent to it are known [3, 4]. This article presents the results of a numerical solution of an analogous problem with account for nonuniform permeability of the stratum.The authors wish to thank T. V. Startsev and L. Kh. A modification to the model developed in [1] for the nonequilibrium filtration of an inhomogeneous liquid is proposed. Summary Employing the weight function approach it is showed a uniqueness theorem for the euqations governing the motion of a viscous compressible fluid, in unbounded domains. The theorem does not require that the density of the fluid be bounded from below by a positive constant. Moreover, no boundedness assumption is made on the velocity, temperature, density and their first derivatives.
Sommario Con l'uso del metodo della funzione peso si dimostra un teorema di unicità per le equazioni dei fluidi viscosi compressibili, in domini non limitati. Non si richiede che la densità del fluido sia inferiormente limitata da una costante positiva. Inoltre, la velocità, la temperatura e la densità con le loro derivate prime possono essere anche non limitate.

Within the framework of the acoustic approximation a solution of the plane nonstationary problem of impact on a fluid boundary is found. The fluid occupies the lower half-plane and consists of two layers with given speeds of sound and densities. The upper layer has a constant depth and is bounded above by a plate with a given normal velocity. The solution is constructed using the Fourier and Laplace integral transforms. Numerical calculations are performed for piston impact across a rigid screen and the impact of a jet with an aerated head on a rigid wall. It is shown that the presence of an interlayer with reduced speed of sound and/or density considerably changes the evolution of the hydrodynamic pressure distribution over the impacting surface: the absolute pressure maximum decreases but pressures of significant amplitude are maintained for a longer time than for a homogeneous fluid.  相似文献

A new stable structure of the three-phase system formed by a gas, a horizontal liquid layer with a free upper surface and an underlying immiscible liquid substrate is investigated experimentally and theoretically. When the upper layer has a greater surface tension than the lower layer and its thickness is fairly small, a local deformation of its surface can lead to the development of a steady-state concentric discontinuity within whose limits the lower layer os in contact with the gas. The conditions of stability of such a phase system with a steady-state discontinuity are studied and the dependences of the discontinuity parameters on the vessel diameter, the upper layer thickness, and the liquid surface tensions are obtained for various pairs of liquids. The formulation of the analytic problem of the layer discontinuity is discussed. The experimental data are compared with the results of calculations carried out for a model of a discontinuity in an infinite layer.  相似文献

Collective behavior of compressible gas bubbles moving in an inviscid incompressible fluid is studied. A kinetic approach is employed, based on an approximate calculation of the fluid flow potential and formulation of Hamilton's equations for generalized coordinates and momenta of bubbles. Kinetic equations governing the evolution of a distribution function of bubbles are derived. These equations are similar to Vlasov's equations. Conservation laws which are direct consequences of the kinetic system are found. It is shown that for a narrowly peaked distribution function they form a closed system of hydrodynamical equations for the mean flow parameters. The system yields the analogue of Rayleigh–Lamb's equation governing oscillations of bubbles. A variational principle for the hydrodynamical system is established and the linear stability analysis is performed.  相似文献

A transformation is constructed of the independent variables and the unknown functions for the momentum and continuity equations of which one-dimensional unsteady motions of a perfect gas, relative to which the governing system of equations is invariant.When this transformation is used, the governing equation of state of the gas is transformed into a new equation which contains arbitrary parameters. This may enable approximation of the complex equation of state of a given medium to be carried out by selection of the parameters (in particular, for gases with respect of the equilibrium reactions taking place therein), and the use of this transformation may make it possible to reduce the problem to one with a simpler equation of state, for which the corresponding problem is more easily solved.The transformations investigated do not have singularities and do not impose any significant limitations on the hydrodynamic quantitiesthey are applicable both for variable entropy and for flows with shock waves.  相似文献

An efficient (simplified) method for solving problems of spherically symmetric dynamics of a small gas bubble in a compressible fluid is proposed. The method is based on the joint use of the full problem statement (the gas dynamics equations for the gas and the fluid) and its relevant simplifications. Some approximate statements are discussed. In the proposed method, the rarefaction and compression of the gas during the slow motion of the bubble surface is assumed to be uniform over the bubble volume. At the same time the fluid in the thin zone adjacent to the bubble is considered to be slightly compressible. Otherwise the gas dynamics equations are used for the gas and the fluid. The dynamics of the fluid in the thick external zone are described by the linear acoustics only. The proposed simplified method and two others used in literature are estimated by comparison of their numerical results with those obtained in full statement. A new formulation is proposed to describe immiscible compressible two-phase flow in porous media. The main feature of this formulation is the introduction of a global pressure. The resulting equations are written in a fractional flow formulation and lead to a coupled system which consists of a nonlinear parabolic (the global pressure equation) and a nonlinear diffusion–convection one (the saturation equation) which can be efficiently solved numerically.
