The 3He(3He,2p)4He and 3H(3H,2n)su4He reactions are studied in a microscopic cluster model. We search for resonances in the 3He+3He and 4He + p + p channels using methods that treat the two- and three-body resonance asymptotics correctly. Our results show that the existence of a low-energy resonance or virtual state, which could influence the 7Be and 8B solar neutrino fluxes, is rather unlikely. Our calculated 3He(3He,2p)4He and 3H(3H,2n)4He cross sections are in a good general agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

The exclusive 2H( 3He, t)2p reaction has been studied at 2 GeV for energy transfers up to 500 MeV and triton angles up to 3.4°. The protons were measured in the large acceptance magnetic detector DIOGENE, in coincidence with the forward tritons detected in a dedicated magnetic arm. The energy transfer spectra extend well above the pion threshold. However, in the region of Δ excitation, the yield is less than 10% of the inclusive 2H( 3He, t) cross-section, which indicates the small contribution of the ΔN ↦ NN process. The angular distributions of the two protons in their center of mass have been analysed as a function of energy transfer and triton angle and a Legendre polynomial decomposition has been achieved. These data have been compared to a model based on a coupled-channel approach for describing the NN and NΔ systems. We have studied the3H(d, n)4He reaction at low energies within a multi-channel resonating-group calculation based on many-bodyn+ andd+3H configurations and pseudo-states as well as on an effective nucleonnucleon interaction containing central, spin-orbit, and tensor components. The (p, 2p) cross sections on 2H, 3He and 4He were measured at 65, 85 and 100 MeV. The experimental data show rather strong energy and target mass dependence, particularly for 4He.  相似文献

The parametrization of cross-section, polarization, analysing powers, spin-correlation and polarization transfer observables in terms of (l, s, J) matrix elements is given for the3H(d, n)4He reaction at low energies. The 2H(d,p)3H and 2H(d,n)3He reactions have been indirectly studied by means of the Trojan Horse Method applied to the quasi-free 2H(3He, p3H)1H?2H(3He, n3He)1H reaction at 18?MeV of beam energy. This is the first experiment where the spectator (here 1H) has been detected in coincidence with the charged participant, avoiding the limitations of standard neutron detectors. The d ? d relative energy has been measured from 1.5?MeV down to 2?keV, at center of mass angles from 40° to 170°. Indirect angular distributions are compared with the direct behaviour in the overlapping regions.  相似文献

For deuteron energies below 7 MeV, the evaluation of the differential cross sections of the3H(d,n)4He reaction was improved by including three associated4He particle excitation functions between 4 and 11 MeV. Above 7 MeV, the scale agrees within error limits with that of a previous evaluation, and no energy-dependent systematic deviations between measured and predicted values are observed. However, deviations of up to 20% from the Liskien and Paulsen evaluation are observed.  相似文献

Ab initio calculation of the total cross section for the reactions 4He(γ, p)3H and 4He(γ, n)3He is presented, using state-of-the-art nuclear forces. The Lorentz integral transform (LIT) method is applied, which allows exact treatment of the final state interaction (FSI). The dynamic equations are solved using the effective interaction hyperspherical harmonics method. In this calculation of the cross sections the three-nucleon force is fully taken into account, except in the source term of the LIT equation for the FSI transition matrix element.  相似文献

For the 3He(p, pp)2H reaction at 64.8 MeV, angular correlations have been measured in the quasifree scattering region. Angular dependence of the ratio of the cross sections measured to those calculated in the plane-wave impulse approximation is well reproduced by a calculation taking account of the double-scattering effect.  相似文献

A measurement of absolute differential cross sections of the3He(d,3Hp)p reaction atE d=23.083 MeV shows the importance of the quasi-free reaction (QFR) mechanism. The observation of a prominent QFR peak indicates that complicated multiple-scattering processes may not be so important as to prevent a simple phenomenological analysis based on two-body interactions. In this respect we isolate final-state-interaction (FSI) effects related toS andP wave3H-p interactions. In particular, the FSI, associated with the4He level at 25.5 MeV of excitation energy, plays a dominant role.  相似文献

Using the framework of the coupled reaction channels (CRC) the elastic scattering and the elastic transfer in the system 6He + 4He measured at E = 151 MeV have been analysed. It is shown that the structure observed in the backward range of the angular distributions is influenced by the interference of the elastic 2n-transfer with a two-step process passing through the 2+ excitation in 6He. The two-neutron transfer mechanism is studied in the microscopic approach and it is found that for the ground-state transition the one step dominates by a factor 10 over the two-step mechanism at this energy. The left-right asymmetry for the3He(d, p)4He reaction has been measured with a polarized3He target at a bombarding energy of 12 MeV. The experimental results are compared with proton polarization measurements for unpolarized target and beam. The construction of the optically pumped3He target is described. A special design has been chosen to overcome the difficulty that the target contamination caused by the bombarding particles destroys the polarization. The target can easily be purified without removing it from the experimental set-up.  相似文献

The energy integrated absolute cross section of the3He(4He,γ)7Be reaction has been determined by an activation measurement, using the branching of the7Be 53.44d β-decay to the 478 keV state in7Li and its subsequentγ-decay. Depending on the branching ratio used (10.4% or 15.4%) we obtain a zero-energy nuclear cross section factor ofS(0)=0.56±0.03 keV·barn orS(0)=0.38±0.03 keV·barn, respectively.  相似文献

Precision measurement of the angular distribution of polarized protons from the2H(d,p)3H reaction at about 1 MeV is compared with experimental polarization data from the mirror reaction2H(d,n)3He at the same entrance and exit channel energies. In both comparisons, differences in polarizations of outgoing nucleons from the d + d charge symmetric reactions were found to be larger than experimental uncertainties.  相似文献

The differential cross section and the polarization quantities (T11, T20, T21, T22, Pγ') in the deuteron breakup reaction by an α-particle are calculated in the framework of the recently developed three-body model. All values are discussed under the incomplete kinematical condition. All polarization quantities are caused by the difference of the potential between p32 and p12 waves of the N-α interaction. Results of the calculation are compared with the available measurement of (i) the differential cross section and the deuteron vector analysing power in the 4He(d, p)n4He reaction and (ii) the differential cross section and neutron polarization in the 2H(α, n)p4He reaction. The agreement with experiment is very satisfactory in each case. Among the tensor analysing powers of the deuteron the absolute value of T20 is very large. Observables at the FSI peak corresponding to 5Heg.s. are discussed systematically in the energy region of 5.4–20 MeV of the incident deuteron in the 4He(d, p)n4He reaction. Although the differential cross section is not sensitive to the energy of the three-body resonance, the polarization quantities T11, T20, Pγ' are quite sensitive to it.  相似文献

Relativistic corrections to the scattering of electrons by a nonrelativistic nucleus are calculated, using the method of Close and Copley, and Krajcik and Foldy. Particular attention is paid to the deuteron, 3He and 4He. It is found that these corrections are substantially the same as those calculated by F. Gross for the deuteron. The corrections to 3He have the effect of moving the diffraction minimum, as calculated in a nonrelativistic model, outward by as much as 0.32 fm?2. Smaller corrections are found for 4He.  相似文献

The polarization of polarized lithium ions from an atomic beam source was measured by the2H(6Li,4He)4He-reaction at 600 keV lithium energy. The tensor polarization was found to be about 0.7, reaching 70% of the maximum value. The polarized atomic beam was ionized by a hot tungsten surface. Surface ionisation seems not to disturb nuclear polarization.  相似文献

The 3H(3He, pα)n reaction has been studied in a kinematically complete experiment at 3He bombarding energies between 0.31 and 2.80 MeV in order to detect a possible resonant energy dependence of the spin singlet (T = 1) neutron-proton final state interaction (FSI). The data in the region of low n-p relative energies have been analyzed in terms of the Watson-Migdal formalism. Only a slight relative increase of the 1S0 n-p FSI is observed with increasing bombarding energy. This result is not easily related to the strong isospin violations found in the two-body reaction 3H(3He, d)4He at similar 3He energies.  相似文献

We present the recent experimental results on the 6He structure studied by the 6Li(t, 3He)6He reaction at 336 MeV. Above the conspicuous peaks for ground and first excited states for 6He, we have observed a broad structures at E x∼ 5 MeV, and E x∼ 15 MeV. The angular distribution of this structure exhibits the dominance of a ΔL = 1 transition, indicating the existence of intruder dipole states at low excitation energies in 6He. An argument is given that the mechanism of charge polarization cannot give rise to E1 radiation in the 2H(d, Υ)4He reaction. It then follows that E1 radiation produced in this reaction probably arises from the spin-dependent part of the E1 operator, although small E1 admixtures have been shown to arise in coupled-channels calculations as a result of Coulomb-induced isospin mixing in 3H and 3He. A proper calculation of this reaction should consider mesonexchange currents and remains to be performed.
