In the experiments on 74Ge(d, pγ)75Ge, a 52.5±0.1 keV γ-ray was found in 75Ge with a half-life of 216±5 ns. From the analysis of the γ-ray spectra the conversion coefficient of the 52.5 keV γ-ray was determined. Then, a new level of is confirmed to exist at 192.5 keV. The reduced transition probabilities of the 52.5 keV transition are deduced to be (6.9+5.6 −2.1) × 10−5 for B(M1) and 31+3 −2 for B(E2) in Weisskopf units.  相似文献

The nucleus 102Sn, which is the lightest Sn isotope with known excited states, was investigated with the 50Cr(58Ni,α2n) reaction using delayed in-beam γ-ray and conversion-electron spectroscopy. The experimental setup was designed to study the decay of μs-long isomeric states by placing γ-ray and electron detectors behind the focal plane of the Fragment Mass Analyzer at the Argonne National Laboratory. A 44 keV conversion-electron line corresponding to the (6+)→(4+) transition in 102Sn was identified and a half-life of 0.62+0.43−0.19 μs was measured for the (6+) state. From the available experimental information neutron effective charges from 1.6 to 2.3 e were deduced, based on the comparison with different shell-model calculations.  相似文献

The decay of 24Na levels below 4.3 MeV excitation was studied by means of the 23Na(d, pγ)24Na reaction at Ed = 2.45 MeV. Gamma-ray spectra were measured at three angles, in coincidence with proton groups detected around 180°. Excitation energies, branching ratios and Doppler shifts were determined. Mean lives were obtained for the levels at 1341 keV (62±15 fs), and 1846 keV (200±50 fs). The 1347 keV level has τ >3 ps. For other levels above 1 MeV upper limits of ≈ 60 fs are set. In some cases spin restrictions follow. In particular J = 2 is assigned to the 1341 keV level.  相似文献

Excited states in 24Na have been investigated by means of the 23Na(d, pγ)24Na reaction at incident deuteron energies of 2.5 and 2.8 MeV. Excitation energies and γ-ray decay for levels up to 4.2 MeV have been determined from proton-gamma coincidence spectra obtained with a surface barrier detector and a Ge(Li) detector on-line with a computer. Two new levels at 3944 ± 2 and 4195 ± 3 keV excitation energies are reported.  相似文献

In a data sample of four million hadronic Z decays collected with the ALEPH detector at LEP, four Λb baryon candidates are exclusively reconstructed in the Λb → Λc+π channel, with the Λc+ decaying into pKπ+, , or Λπ+π+π. The probability of the observed signal to be due to a background fluctuation is estimated to be 4.2 × 10−4. The mass of the Λb is measured to be 5614±21 (stat.) ± 4 (syst.) MeV/c2.  相似文献

A partial-wave analysis of the reaction πpηηπp at 18 GeV/c has been performed on a data sample of approximately 4000 events obtained by Brookhaven experiment E852. The JPC=0−+π(1800) state is observed in the a0(980)η and f0(1500)π decay modes. It has a mass of 1876±18±16 MeV/c2 and a width of 221±26±38 MeV/c2. The JPC=2−+π2(1880) meson is observed decaying through a2(1320)η. It has a mass of 1929±24±18 MeV/c2 and a width of 323±87±43 MeV/c2. Both states are potential candidates for non-exotic hybrid mesons.  相似文献

Measurements of 116Cd double beta decay with help of enriched116CdWO4 crystal scintillator are in progress in the Solotvina Underground Laboratory. The last part of the exposition with the background rate less than 0.6 counts/y·kg·keV (in the region of interest 2.7–2.9 MeV) is about 19000 hours. The half-life limit T1/2(0ν)≥3.2·1022 y (90% C.L.) is obtained for neutrinoless 2β decay of 116Cd. It corresponds to restrictions on the values of the neutrino mass mν≤3.9 eV, right-handed admixtures in weak interaction η≤5.7·10−8, λ5.0·10−6 and R-parity violating parameter of minimal supersymmetric standard model ≤1.1·10−3. For neutrinoless modes with emission of one and two Majorons, the limits T1/2(0νM1)≥1.2·1021 y and T1/2(0νM2)≥2.4·1020 y (90% C.L.) are determined. To advance these results to a level of the limit mν≤1–2 eV, the improved set-up with four enriched 116CdWO4 crystals is in mounting low.  相似文献

We have measured the gamma ray activity of a sample of 6189 grams of metallic Neodimium with a germanium detector. From the gamma energy spectrum recorded during almost 6500 hours we extract lower limits for the halflife of the inclusive (0ν + 2ν) ββ decay of 150Nd to the first excited states of 150Sm : t1/2(0+ → 01+ > 1.0·1020, t1/2(O+ → 02+) > 2.0 · 102), t1/2(0+ → 21+) > 9.1 · 1019.  相似文献

The process e+e→W+Wγ is analysed using the data collected with the L3 detector at LEP at a centre-of-mass energy of 188.6 GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 176.8 pb−1. Based on a sample of 42 selected W+W candidates containing an isolated hard photon, the W+Wγ cross section, defined within phase-space cuts, is measured to be: σWWγ=290±80±16 fb, consistent with the Standard Model expectation. Including the process , limits are derived on anomalous contributions to the Standard Model quartic vertices W+Wγγ and W+WZγ at 95% CL: −0.043 GeV−2<a02<0.043 GeV−2, −0.08 GeV−2<ac2<0.13 GeV−2, −0.41 GeV−2<an2<0.37 GeV−2.  相似文献

Low-lying states below 500 keV excitation in112In have been investigated via the112Cd(p, nγ) reaction. New levels have been established atE x=206.5keV and 456.1 keV from the measuredγ-ray excitation functions,γ?γ coincidences and the precision measurements of the (p, n) threshold energy of the ground state and of the 206.5 keV state of112In. Spins and parities of the 206.5 keV state (2+) and the 456.1 keV state (3+) and multipolarities and mixing ratios of the deexcitationγ-rays have been determined from the angular distributions and linear polarizations of the deexcitation γ-rays as well as the excitation functions of the residual levels. Possible configurations of the newly-found levels are discussed. Half-lives of two states have been remeasured:T 1/2=15.2±0.1 min for the ground state andT 1/2=20.9±0.1 min for the 156.4 keV (4+) state. The ground stateQ-value for the112Cd(p, n)112 In reaction has been measured to be ?3.376±0.006 MeV.  相似文献

We have measured the cross section σ(e+eπ+πγ(γ)) at DAΦNE, the Frascati -factory, using events with initial state radiation photons emitted at small angle and inclusive of final state radiation. We present the analysis of a new data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 240 pb−1. We have achieved a reduced systematic uncertainty with respect to previously published KLOE results. From the cross section we obtain the pion form factor and the contribution to the muon magnetic anomaly from two-pion states in the mass range 0.592<Mππ<0.975 GeV. For the latter we find Δππaμ=(387.2±0.5stat±2.4exp±2.3th)×10−10.  相似文献

From γ-ray linear polarization measurements, γ-ray angular distributions and γ?γ coincidences, the following levels were identified in 48V (EXin keV): 4? at 1099, (5?) at 1685, (6?) at 2397, (7?) at 3171 and (8?) at 3976. Excited states in 102Sn have been identified for the first time, in an in-beam γ-ray spectroscopic experiment. Two γ-ray transitions with energies 1472 and 497 keV following the decay of the seniority 6+ isomer with t1/2 = 1.0(5) μs were unambiguously assigned to 102Sn. Due to the very low cross section of about 2 μb for producing 102Sn in the reaction 50Cr(58Ni,1α2n), a highly selective detector setup utilizing NORDBALL ancillary detectors and a recoil catcher device was used. High γ-ray detection efficiency was achieved with two EUROBALL Ge cluster detectors.  相似文献

An analysis of data on is presented at beam momenta 600 to 1940 MeV/c. There is evidence for an I=1, JPC=2−+ resonance in ηηπ0 with mass M=1880±20 MeV and width 255±45 MeV, decaying strongly to a2(1320)η; it is too strong to be explained as the high mass tail of π2(1670)→a2(1320)η. There is tentative evidence also for weak decays to f0(1500)π. It makes a natural partner to the η2(1860).  相似文献

Effects of Ar+ ion-beam irradiation on solid-phase growth of β-FeSi2 have been investigated. Fe (10 nm)/Si structures were irradiated with 25 keV Ar+ (5.0×1015 cm−2) at a temperature of 25°C (sample A) or 400°C (sample B), and subsequently annealed at 800°C. A reference was obtained after annealing without irradiation (sample C). X-ray diffraction results indicated that β-FeSi2 was formed after annealing at 800°C for 5 h, and the formation rate was the fastest for sample A and the slowest for sample C, i.e., A>BC. However, Auger electron spectroscopy measurements showed that atomic mixing at Fe/Si interface before annealing was B>AC. These results suggested that amorphization of Si substrate, in addition to atomic mixing, enhanced the solid-phase growth of β-FeSi2, which was confirmed experimentally. Moreover, a direct band gap of 0.89 eV was observed for the sample with pre-amorphization by the Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy measurements. These enhancement effects were attributed to that the phase transition to β-FeSi2 was accelerated by atomic arrangement induced during annihilation of excess vacancies. These enhancement effects can be utilized for nano-fabrication of β-FeSi2 by using focused ion-beam irradiation.  相似文献

The (Na+) Sternheimer antishielding factor γ (Na+) was determined by 23Na NMR spectroscopy on sodium oxide chloride, Na3OCl. The quadrupolar coupling constant of the sodium ion in Na3OCl was determined to QCC=11.34 MHz, which presents the largest coupling constant of a sodium nucleus observed so far. Applying a simple point charge model, the largest principal value of the electric field gradient at the sodium site was calculated to Vzz=−6.76762·1020 V/m2. From these values we calculated the (Na+) Sternheimer antishielding factor to γ (Na+)=−5.36. In sodium oxide, Na2O, we observed an isotropic chemical shift of δCS=55.1 ppm, referenced to 1 M aqueous NaCl (δ=0 ppm).  相似文献

Accurate values for the27Al chemical shielding anisotropy (CSA) are reported for sapphire (α-Al2O3). The values (δσ= −17.3 ± 0.6 ppm, ησ= 0.03 ± 0.06) are obtained from single-crystal27Al NMR and appear to be the first convincing determination of an27Al CSA.  相似文献

A time-resolved experiment on the A2Π state of gaseous calcium hydride has been performed by applying laser spectroscopic methods. The following zero-pressure lifetime was obtained for the CaH A2Π state: τυ´=0 = 33.2 (±3.2) ns and τυ´=1 = 33.7 (±5.2) ns. The lifetime was found to be the same for the A2Π½ and A2Π3/2 states.  相似文献

The microwave spectrum of m-tolunitrile (3-methylbenzonitrile, m-C6H4CH3CN) has been investigated in the frequency range from 1 to 4 and 8 to 26.5 GHz. The spectra in the two lowest states of internal methyl rotation (m = 0, ±1) were recorded by means of pulsed molecular beam Fourier transform microwave (MB-FTMW) spectrometers. The interpretation of the spectra was based on an asymmetric frame–symmetric top Hamiltonian with inclusion of centrifugal distortion terms and first-order contributions from 14N nuclear quadrupole coupling. A least-squares analysis yielded the rotational constants A = 3295.9103(10) MHz, B = 1199.1188(2) MHz, C = 883.9223(1) MHz, all elements of the nuclear quadrupole coupling tensor χaa = −3.626(1) MHz, χbb = 1.684(1) MHz, χcc = 1.943(1) MHz, and χab = −1.870(3) MHz, as well as the threefold barrier to internal rotation, V3 = 14.2 cm−1, and the angle between the internal rotor axis and the principal moment of inertia a axis, θ = 42.66°, using fixed values for the sixfold barrier term V6 (−11 cm−1) and the moment of inertia of the methyl top Iα (3.16 u Å2).  相似文献

The Coulomb excitation reaction induced by 4He ions selectively excites 2+ and 3? states by direct E2 and E3 Coulomb excitation. In this paper, we present new results from γ-ray spectroscopy with 15 MeV 4He ions on a natural abundance target of W. In particular, a 3? state in each isotope, 182, 184, 196W, was observed by direct E3 excitation. In addition to obtaining B(Eλ, 0 → J = λ) for excitation of each state, information on the reduced transition probabilities for the different decay modes of these states is given. The Coulomb excitation probabilities of the 2'+ states at 786 keV in 166Er and at 737 keV in 186W were measured with 16O and 4He ions by the backscattered particle-gamma coincidence method in order to determine the static electric quadrupole moment Q2'. We obtain for 166Er Q2' = 2.11 ± 0.37 e· b which is in agreement with (Q2')rot and for 186W Q2' = 1.17 ± 0.30 e · b which is in agreement with Kumar-Baranger model calculations and is significantly smaller than (Q2')rot. This deviation of the measured Q2' from (Q2'rot implies in the framework of the Kumar-Baranger calculations a strong coupling between β- and γ-vibrational bands. On the other hand, our observed upper limit for B(E2,2″ → 2′) does not confirm this implication.  相似文献
