An optimal control problem is considered for a two-dimensional elastic body with a straight thin rigid inclusion and a crack adjacent to it. It is assumed that the thin rigid inclusion delaminates and has a kink. On the crack faces the boundary conditions are specified in the form of equalities and inequalities which describe the mutual nonpenetration of the crack faces. The derivative of the energy functional along the crack length is used as the objective functional, and the position of the kink point, as the control function. The existence is proved of the solution to the optimal control problem.  相似文献

In this paper, a problem of equilibrium of two elastic bodies pasted together along a curve is considered. It is assumed that there is a through crack on a part of the curve. Nonlinear boundary conditions providing mutual non-penetration between the crack faces are set. The main objective of the paper is to construct and test a numerical algorithm for solving the equilibrium problem. The algorithm is based on two approaches: a domain decomposition method and Uzawa method for solving variational inequalities. A numerical experiment illustrates the efficiency of the algorithm.  相似文献

A boundary value problem describing the equilibrium of a two-dimensional linear elastic body with a thin rectilinear elastic inclusion and possible delamination is considered. The stress and strain state of the inclusion is described using the equations of the Euler–Bernoulli beam theory. Delamination means the existence of a crack between the inclusion and the elastic matrix. Nonlinear boundary conditions preventing crack face interpenetration are imposed on the crack faces. As a result, problem with an unknown contact domain is obtained. The problem is solved numerically by applying an iterative algorithm based on the domain decomposition method and an Uzawa-type algorithm for solving variational inequalities. Numerical results illustrating the efficiency of the proposed algorithm are presented.  相似文献

A method is proposed for studying the two-dimensional stressed state of a multiply connected anisotropic body with cavities and elastic and rigid inclusions, as well as planar cracks and rigid laminar inclusions. Generalized complex potentials, conformal mapping, and the method of least squares are used. The problem is reduced to solving a system of linear algebraic equations. Formulas are given for finding the stress intensity factors in the case of cracks and laminar inclusions. For an anisotropic plate with a single elliptical hole or a crack and an elastic (rigid) inclusion, some numerical results are presented from a study of the effect of the rigidity of the inclusion and the closeness of the contours to one another on the distribution of stresses and the stress intensity factor. Under study is the problem of bending an elastic plate with a thin rigid inclusion which may delaminate and form a crack. We find a system of boundary conditions valid on the faces of the crack and prove the existence of a solution. The problem of bending a plate with a volume rigid inclusion is also considered. We establish the convergence of solutions of this problem to a solution to the original problem as the size of the volume rigid inclusion tends to zero.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the analysis of equilibrium problems for two‐dimensional elastic bodies with thin rigid inclusions and cracks. Inequality‐type boundary conditions are imposed at the crack faces providing a mutual non‐penetration between the crack faces. A rigid inclusion may have a delamination, thus forming a crack with non‐penetration between the opposite faces. We analyze variational and differential problem formulations. Different geometrical situations are considered, in particular, a crack may be parallel to the inclusion as well as the crack may cross the inclusion, and also a deviation of the crack from the rigid inclusion is considered. We obtain a formula for the derivative of the energy functional with respect to the crack length for considering this derivative as a cost functional. An optimal control problem is analyzed to control the crack growth. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Under consideration is the conjunction problem for a thin elastic and a thin rigid inclusions that are in contact at one point and placed in an elastic body. Depending on what kind of conjunction conditions are set at the contact point of inclusions, we consider the two cases: the case of no fracture, where, as the conjunction conditions, we take the matching of displacements at the contact point and preservation of the angle between the inclusions, and the case with a fracture in which only the matching of displacements is assumed. At the point of conjunction, we obtain the boundary conditions for the differential formulation of the problem. On the positive face of the rigid inclusion, there is delamination. On the crack faces, some nonlinear boundary conditions of the type of inequalities are set, that prevent mutual penetration of the faces. The existence and uniqueness theorems for the solution of the equilibrium problem are proved in both cases.  相似文献

Under study are the boundary value problems describing the equilibrium of twodimensional elastic bodies with thin anisotropic weakly curved inclusions in presence of separations. The latter implies the existence of a crack between the inclusion and the matrix. Nonlinear boundary conditions in the form of inequalities are imposed on the crack faces that exclude mutual penetration of the crack faces. This leads to the formulation of the problems with unknown contact area. The passage to limits with respect to the rigidity parameters of the thin inclusions is inspected. In particular, we construct the models as the rigidity parameters go to infinity and analyze their properties.  相似文献

Fundamental solutions for a three-dimensional wedge are used to investigate problems of a thin, rigid, elliptic inclusion in a wedge. A regular asymptotic form is employed which has previously been used in contact problems for a wedge [1] and in problems of a crack in a wedge [2] in the case of an elliptic shape of the contact region or crack. The method is effective in the case of an inclusion which is sufficiently distant from an edge of the wedge when the known exact solution for the space [3] can be taken as the zeroth approximation. A numerical analysis and comparison of different characteristics of wedge problems is carried out.  相似文献

The method of direct cutting-out consists of modeling of a finite body, in particular, with thin heterogeneities, using a much simpler problem for a bounded or a partially bounded body with thin heterogeneities located in the same manner and the presence of additional cracks or absolutely rigid inclusions of fairy large length, which are modeled by the boundary conditions of a bounded body. The method is tested on the problems of antiplane deformation of a symmetrically loaded crack in a wedge with free faces and an absolutely rigid inclusion placed with some tension in a wedge with restrained faces. For an elastic inclusion, we construct generalized conditions of interaction, which enable us to unify the procedure of giving different boundary conditions in the case of using the method of direct cutting-out.  相似文献

An equilibrium problem for an elastic body is considered. It is assumed that the body has a thin elastic inclusion and a thin rigid inclusion. We analyze a junction problem assuming that the inclusions have a joint point. Different equivalent problem formulations are discussed, and existence of solutions is proved. A set of junction conditions is found. We investigate a convergence to infinity and to zero of a rigidity parameter of the elastic inclusion. A delamination of the elastic inclusion is also investigated. In this case, inequality‐type boundary conditions are imposed at the crack faces to prevent a mutual penetration between crack faces. In the paper, we consider an optimal control problem of finding the most safe rigid inclusion shapes in elastic plates with cracks from the viewpoint of the Griffith rupture criterion. We make use of a general Kirchhoff–Love plate model with both vertical and horizontal displacements, and nonpenetration conditions are fulfilled on the crack faces. The dependence of the first derivative of the energy functional with respect to the crack length on regular shape perturbations of the rigid inclusion is analyzed. It is shown that there exists a solution of the optimal control problem.  相似文献

We consider a plane viscoelastic body, composed of Maxwell material, with a crack and a thin rigid inclusion. The statement of the problem includes boundary conditions in the form of inequalities, together with an integral condition describing the equilibrium conditions of the inclusion. An equivalent variational statement is provided and used to prove the uniqueness of the problem’s solution. The analysis is carried out in respect of perfect and non-perfect bonding of the rigid inclusion. Additional smoothness properties of the solutions, namely the existence of the time derivative, are also established.  相似文献

We consider a problem of wedging of an elastic wedge by a rigid plate along an edge crack that is located on the axis of symmetry of the wedge and reaches its vertex. The detachment of the crack faces from the surfaces of the plate is taken into account. Using the Wiener–Hopf method, we obtain an analytic solution of the problem. The size of the detachment zone, the stress intensity factor, the distribution of stresses on the line of continuation of the crack and in the contact domain, and circular displacements of the crack faces are determined.  相似文献

This paper shows how an existing algorithm, which is used in computer-aided design problems for solving a set of functional inequalities, may be modified by the inclusion of a Monte Carlo method to give a stochastic algorithm, which is easier to implement than its deterministic original and which solves the given set of functional inequalities almost surely.  相似文献

The equilibrium problem for a two-dimensional body with a crack is studied. We suppose that the body consists of two parts: an elastic part and a rigid thin stiffener on the outer edge of the body. Inequality-type boundary conditions are prescribed at the crack faces providing a non-penetration between the crack faces. For a family of variational problems, dependence of their solutions on the length of the thin rigid stiffener is investigated. It is shown that there exists a solution of an optimal control problem. For this problem, the cost functional is defined by a continuous functional on a solution space, while the length parameter serves as a control parameter.  相似文献

The paper concerns the control of rigid inclusion shapes in elastic bodies with cracks. Cracks are located on the boundary of rigid inclusions and in the bulk. Inequality type boundary conditions are imposed at the crack faces to guarantee mutual non-penetration. Inclusion shapes are considered as control functions. First we provide the problem formulation and analyze the shape sensitivity with respect to geometrical perturbations of the inclusion. Then, based on Griffith criterion, we introduce the cost functional, which measures the shape sensitivity of the problem with respect to the geometry of the inclusion, provided by the energy release rate. We prove existence of optimal shapes for the problem considered.  相似文献

Based on mixed finite-element approximations, a numerical algorithm is developed for solving a geometrically nonlinear contact problem for a prestressed multilayered Timoshenko-type shell undergoing arbitrarily large displacements and rotations. As unknowns, six displacements of faces of the shell are taken, which allows one to use principally new relationships for components of the Green–Lagrange strain tensor in curvilinear orthogonal coordinates, exactly representing arbitrarily large displacements of the shell as a rigid body. As an example, a tire interacting with a rigid foundation is considered.  相似文献

The plane problem in the linear theory of elasticity for a body with a rigid inclusion located within it is investigated. It is assumed that there is a crack on part of the boundary joining the inclusion and the matrix and complete bonding on the remaining part of the boundary. Zero displacements are specified on the outer boundary of the body. The crack surface is free from forces and the stress state in the body is determined by the bulk forces acting on it. The variation in the energy functional in the case of a variation in the rigid inclusion and the crack is investigated. The deviation of the solution of the perturbed problem from the solution of the initial problem is estimated. An expression is obtained for the derivative of the energy functional with respect to a zone perturbation parameter that depends on the solution of the initial problem and the form of the vector function defining the perturbation. Examples of the application of the results obtained are studied.  相似文献
