This work is the continuation of the discussion of Refs. [1-5]. In this paper:[A] The Love-Kirchhoff equations of vibration problem with small deflection for orthorhombic misotropic thin shells or orthorhombic anisotropic thin plates on Winkler’s base are classified as several of the same solutions of Schrodmger equation, and we can obtain the general solutions for the two above-mentioned problems by the method in Refs. [1] and [3-5].[B] The. von Karman-Vlasov equations of large deflection problem for shallow shells with orthorhombic anisotropy (their special cases are the von Harmon equations of large deflection problem for thin plates with orthorhombic anisotropy) are classified as the solutions of AKNS equation or Dirac equation, and we can obtain the exact solutions for the two abovementioned problems by the inverse scattering method in Refs. [4-5].The general solution of small deflection problem or the exact solution of large deflection problem for the corrugated or rib-reinforced plates and shells as special cases is included in this paper.  相似文献

In this paper the solutions of von Karman for elastic large deflection problem areclassified as the several solutions of Schr(?)dinger equation for quantum eigenvaluesproblem, and we present the transfrom for elastic large deflection problem from non-linearequation into linear equation. Thus,we create favourable conditions of the adoption ofconverse scattering methnd and B(?)cklund transformation. We also discuss the largedeflection problem of long and narrow plate. We can study the non-linear transition of elastic thin plate by furnished method fromthis paper.  相似文献

The problem of axisymmetric nonlinear vibration for shallow thin spherical and conical shells when temperature and strain fields are coupled is studied. Based on the large deflection theories of yon Ktirrntin and the theory of thermoelusticity, the whole governing equations and their simplified type are derived. The time-spatial variables are separated by Galerkin ‘ s technique, thus reducing the governing equations to a system of time-dependent nonlinear ordinary differential equation. By means of regular perturbation method and multiple-scales method, the first-order approximate analytical solution for characteristic relation of frequency vs amplitude parameters along with the decay rate of amplitude are obtained, and the effects of different geometric parameters and coupling factors us well us boundary conditions on thermoelustically coupled nonlinear vibration behaviors are discussed.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the derivation and the analysis of vibrations of shallow spherical shell subjected to large amplitude transverse displacement. The analog for thin shallow shells of von Kármán’s theory for large deflection of plates is used. The validity range of the approximations is assessed by comparing the analytical modal analysis with a numerical solution. The specific case of a free edge is considered. The governing partial differential equations are expanded onto the natural modes of vibration of the shell. The problem is replaced by an infinite set of coupled second-order differential equations with quadratic and cubic non-linear terms. Analytical expressions of the non-linear coefficients are derived and a number of them are found to vanish, as a consequence of the symmetry of revolution of the structure. Then, for all the possible internal resonances, a number of rules are deduced, thus predicting the activation of the energy exchanges between the involved modes. Finally, a specific mode coupling due to a 1:1:2 internal resonance between two companion modes and an axisymmetric mode is studied.  相似文献

It is extremely difficult to obtain an exact solution of von Karman’s equations because the equations are nonlinear and coupled. So far many approximate methods have been used to solve the large deflection problems except that only a few exact solutions have been investigated but no strict proof on convergence is presented yet. In this paper, first of all, we reduce the von KÁrmÁn’s equations to equivalent integral equations which are nonlinear, coupled and singular. Secondly the sequences of continuous function with general form are constructed using iterative technique. Based on the sequences to be uniformly convergent, we obtain analytical formula of exact solutions to von Karman’s equations related to large deflection problems of circular plate and shallow spherical shell with clamped boundary subjected to a concentrated load at the centre.  相似文献

Normal and radial displacements of a shallow thin sheil of revolution are related by theoretical considerations. Radial displacements are calculated from slope measurements on the generatrices of the initial shell surface (before loading) and of the final shell surface (after loading). Membrane and bending stresses over the entire shell surface are then computed from the measured slope values and the calculated radial displacements. A measuring technique is developed which is especially suitable for shallow shells enclosed in small spaces. It consists mainly of making a cast of the initial and final shell surface using an epoxy platic. The disklike cast is cut along its diameter. The slope values are measured optically along the line which is formed by the intersection of the cutting plane with the deflection surface. The method is applied to a shallow thin shell of revolution in contact with a concentric piston and to a clamped circular plate, both experiencing large axisymmetric deflection.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the nonlinear stability of a thin elastic circular shallow spherical shell under the action of uniform normal pressure with a clamped edge. When the geometrical parameter k is large, the uniformly valid asymptotic solutions are obtained by means of the singular perturbation method. In addition, we give the analytic formula for determining the centre deflection and the critical load, and the stability curve is also derived. This paper is a continuation of the author’s previous paper[11].  相似文献

An optimal design technique developed earlier for axisymmetric plates and circular cylindrical shells is accommodated for shallow spherical shells subjected to uniform transverse pressure. Material of the shells is assumed to be rigid-plastic obeying the von Mises yield condition and the associated deformation law. The post-yield behaviour of the shells is taken into account. The weight minimization is performed under the condition that the maximal deflection of the shell of variable thickness coincides with the deflection of the reference shell of constant thickness. The problem is transformed into a non-linear boundary value problem which is solved numerically.  相似文献

A solution is given for the problem of flow past a cascade on an axisymmetric stream surface in a layer of variable thickness, which is a component part of the approximate solution of the three-dimensional problem for a three-dimensional cascade. Generalized analytic functions are used to obtain the integral equation for the potential function, which is solved via iteration method by reduction to a system of linear algebraic equations. An algorithm and a program for the Minsk-2 computer are formulated. The precision of the algorithm is evaluated and results are presented of the calculation of an example cascade. In the formulation of [1, 3] the problem of flow past a three-dimensional turbomachine cascade is reduced approximately to the joint solution of two-dimensional problems of the averaged axisymmetric flow and the flow on an axisymmetric stream surface in an elementary layer of variable thickness. In the following we solve the second problem for an arbitrary cascade with finite thickness rotating with constant angular velocity in ideal fluid flow: the solution is carried out on a Minsk-2 computer. Many studies have been devoted to this problem. A method for solving the direct problem for a cascade of flat plates in a hyperbolic layer was presented in [2]. Methods were developed in [1, 3] for constructing the flow for the case of a channel with variable thickness; these methods are approximately applicable for dense cascades but yield considerable error for small-load turbomachine cascades. The solution developed in [4], somewhat reminiscent of that of [2], is applicable for thin, slightly curved profiles in a layer with monotonically varying thickness. A solution has been given for a circular cascade for layers varying logarithmically [5] and linearly [6]. Approximate methods for slightly curved profiles in a monotonically varying layer with account for layer variability only in the discharge component were examined in [7–9]. A solution is given in [10] for an arbitrary layer by means of the relaxation method, which yields a roughly approximate flow pattern. The general solution of the problem by means of potential theory and the method of singularities presented in [11] is in error because of neglect of the crossflow through the skeletal line. The computer solution of [12] contains an unassessed error for the calculations in an arbitrary layer. The finite difference method is used in [13] to solve the differential equation of flow, which is illustrated by numerical examples for monotonie layers of axial turbomachines. The numerical solution of [13] is very complex. The solution presented below is found in the general formulation with respect to the geometric parameters of the cascade and the axisymmetric surface and also in terms of the layer thickness variation law.The numerical solution requires about 15 minutes of machine time on the Minsk-2 computer.  相似文献

In this paper, the nonlinear bending and stability of thin spherical shallow shell with variable thickness under uniformly distributed loads are investigated by a new modified iteration method proposed by Prof. Yeh Kai-yuan and the author[1]. Deflections and critical loads have been calculated and the numerical results obtained have been given in figures and tabular forms. It is shown that the final equation determining the central deflection and the load obtained coincides with the cusp catastrophe manifold. It has been known for some time that under certain circumstances the axisymmetric solution describing the deformation experienced by a stretched circular thin plate or membrane under sufficiently strong normal pressure does not represent an energy-minimum configuration. By using the method of adjacent equilibrium a set of coordinate-free bifurcation equations is derived here by adopting the Föppl–von Kármán plate theory. A particular class of asymmetric bifurcation solutions is then investigated by reduction to a system of ordinary differential equations with variable coefficients. The localised character of the eigenmodes is confirmed numerically and we also look briefly at the role played by the background tension on this phenomenon.  相似文献

In this paper, the displacement solution method of the conical shell is presented.Fromthe differential equations in displacement form of conical shell and by introducing adisplacement function,U(s,θ),the differential equations are changed into an eight-ordersoluble partial differential equation about the displacement function U(s,θ)in which thecoefficients are variable. At the same time, the expressions of the displacement and internalforce components of the shell are also given by the displacement function. As special casesof this paper, the displacement function introduced by V.Z.Vlasov in circular cylindricalshell, the basic equation of the cylindrical shell and that of the circular plate are directlyderived.Under the arbitrary loads and boundary conditions, the general bending problem of theconical shell is reduced to finding the displacement function U(s,θ),and the generalsolution of the governing equation is obtained in generalized hypergeometric function,Forthe axisymmetric bending deformation of the  相似文献

The inverse problem of the theory of the Laval nozzle is considered, which leads to the Cauchy problem for the gasdynamic equations; the streamlines and the flow parameters are found from the known velocity distribution on the axis of symmetry. The inverse problem of Laval nozzle theory was considered in 1908 by Meyer [1], who expanded the velocity potential into a series in powers of the Cartesian coordinates and constructed the subsonic and supersonic solutions in the vicinity of the center of the nozzle. Taylor [2] used a similar method to construct a flowfield which is subsonic but has local supersonic zones in the vicinity of the minimal section. Frankl [3] and Fal'kovich [4] studied the flow in the vicinity of the nozzle center in the hodograph plane. Their solution, just as the Meyer solution, made it possible to obtain an idea of the structure of the transonic flow in the vicinity of the center of the nozzle.A large number of studies on transonic flow in the vicinity of the center of the nozzle have been made using the method of small perturbations. The approximate equation for the transonic velocity potential in the physical plane, obtained in [3–6], has been studied in detail for the plane and axisymmetric cases. In [7] Ryzhov used this equation to study the question of the formation of shock waves in the vicinity of the center of the nozzle, and conditions were formulated for the plane and axisymmetric cases under which the flow will not contain shock waves. However, none of the solutions listed above for the inverse problem of Laval nozzle theory makes it possible to calculate the flow in the subsonic and transonic parts of the nozzles with large gradients of the gasdynamic parameters along the normal to the axis of symmetry.Among the studies devoted to the numerical calculation of the flow in the subsonic portion of the Laval nozzle we should note the study of Alikhashkin et al., and the work of Favorskii [9], in which the method of integral relations was used to solve the direct problem for the plane and axisymmetric cases. The present paper provides a numerical solution of the inverse problem of Laval nozzle theory. A stable difference scheme is presented which permits analysis with a high degree of accuracy of the subsonic, transonic, and supersonic flow regions. The result of the calculations is a series of nozzles with rectilinear and curvilinear transition surfaces in which the flow is significantly different from the one-dimensional flow. The flowfield in the subsonic and transonic portions of the nozzles is studied. Several asymptotic solutions are obtained and a comparison is made of these solutions with the numerical solution. The author wishes to thank G. D. Vladimirov for compiling the large number of programs and carrying out the calculations on the M-20 computer.  相似文献

This work is the continuation and improvement of the discussion of Ref. [1]. We also improve the discussion of Refs. [2–3] on the elastic large deflection problem by results of this paper. We again simplify the von Kármán equation for elastic large deflection problem, and finally turn it into the nonlinear Schrödinger equation in this paper. Secondly, we expand the AKNS equation to still more symmetrical degree under many dimensional conditions in this paper. Owing to connection between the nonlinear Schrödinger equation and the integrability condition for the AKNS equation or the Dirac equation, we can obtain the exact solution for elastic large deflection problem by inverse scattering method. In other words, the elastic large deflection problem wholly becomes a quantum eigenvalues problem. The large deflection problem with orthorhombic anisotropy is also deduced in this paper.  相似文献
