Inter- and intramolecular palladium-catalyzed allyl cross-coupling reactions using allylindium generated in situ by treatment of allyl acetates with indium and indium trichloride in the presence of Pd(0) catalyst and nBuNMe(2) in DMF were successfully demonstrated. Allylindium species generated in situ by reductive transmetalation of pi-allylpalladium(II) complexes, obtained from a variety of allyl acetates in the presence of Pd(0) catalyst together with indium and indium trichloride, were found to be capable of acting as effective nucleophilic coupling partners in Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions. A variety of allyl acetates such as but-1-en-3-yl acetate, crotyl acetate, and 2-methylallyl acetate afforded the corresponding allylic compounds in good yields in cross-coupling reactions. Various electrophilic cross-coupling partners such as aryl iodides and vinyl bromides and triflates participate in these reactions. Not only intermolecular but also intramolecular Pd-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions work equally well to produce the desired allylic coupling products in good yields. 相似文献

A catalytic amount of cesium carbonate (10 mol%) was found to be capable of effectively catalyzing the insertion of indium powder into alkyl iodides. The thus‐generated alkyl indium reagents could readily undergo palladium‐catalyzed cross‐coupling reactions with a wide variety of aryl halides, showing compatibility to a range of important functional groups. 相似文献

Sensitive functional groups such as COR, CHO, or CH2OH can be present in benzylic indium reagents prepared by the direct insertion of indium in the presence of LiCl. These reagents undergo palladium‐catalyzed cross‐coupling reactions in the presence of a protic cosolvent after activation with iPrMgCl⋅LiCl (see scheme). Remarkable chemoselectivities are achieved by using various electrophiles containing NH or OH groups.

Iron‐catalyzed cross‐coupling of heteroaromatic tosylates with alkyl and aryl Grignard reagents 下载免费PDF全文
An Fe(III)‐catalyzed cross‐coupling of N‐heteroaromatic tosylates with aryl and alkyl Grignard reagents is presented. The reaction proceeds at ?20°C to room temperature with short reaction time (15–30 min.), and the corresponding products are obtained with moderate to high yields. In particular, low‐cost and abundantly available FeCl3 or Fe(acetylacetonate)3 catalyze the reaction without other special ligands. All tested N‐heteroaromatic tosylates that are available including pyridine and pyrimidine derivatives were subject to the reaction, resulting in the expected products. Added value: A copper-based method is highly efficient for the cross-coupling of alkyl electrophiles with secondary and tertiary alkyl Grignard reagents. The method is distinguished by its broad substrate scope and high functional group tolerance. 相似文献

The cross-coupling reaction of aryl chlorides with aliphatic and aromatic thiols catalyzed by palladium complexes of the strongly binding bisphosphine CyPF-tBu ligand (1) is reported. Most of the reactions catalyzed by complexes of ligand 1 occur with turnover numbers that exceed those of previous catalysts by two orders of magnitude. The reactions occur with excellent yields, broad scope and high tolerance of functional groups. Coupling of aryl halides with thiols in the presence of low loadings of catalysts derived from other Josiphos type ligands, as well as ligands of other structural types, are also described. 相似文献

Details of cobalt-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions of alkyl halides with allylic Grignard reagents are disclosed. A combination of cobalt(II) chloride and 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (DPPE) or 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane (DPPP) is suitable as a precatalyst and allows secondary and tertiary alkyl halides--as well as primary ones--to be employed as coupling partners for allyl Grignard reagents. The reaction offers a facile synthesis of quaternary carbon centers, which has practically never been possible with palladium, nickel, and copper catalysts. Benzyl, methallyl, and crotyl Grignard reagents can all couple with alkyl halides. The benzylation definitely requires DPPE or DPPP as a ligand. The reaction mechanism should include the generation of an alkyl radical from the parent alkyl halide. The mechanism can be interpreted in terms of a tandem radical cyclization/cross-coupling reaction. In addition, serendipitous tandem radical cyclization/cyclopropanation/carbonyl allylation of 5-alkoxy-6-halo-4-oxa-1-hexene derivatives is also described. The intermediacy of a carbon-centered radical results in the loss of the original stereochemistry of the parent alkyl halides, creating the potential for asymmetric cross-coupling of racemic alkyl halides. 相似文献

Despite the problems inherent to metal-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions with alkyl halides, these reactions have become increasingly important during the last few years. Detailed mechanistic investigations have led to a variety of novel procedures for the selective cross-coupling of non-activated alkyl halides bearing beta hydrogen atoms with a variety of organometallic nucleophiles under mild reaction conditions. This Minireview highlights selected examples of metal-catalyzed coupling methods and is intended to encourage chemists to exploit the potential of these approaches in organic synthesis. 相似文献

Tosylhydrazones are useful synthetic intermediates that have been used in organic chemistry for almost 60 years. The recent discovery of a palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction involving a tosylhydrazone coupling partner has triggered renewed interest in these reagents. This reaction shows nearly universal generality with regard to the hydrazone and can be employed for the preparation of polysubstituted alkenes. In the course of this research, novel metal-free C-C and C-O bond-forming reactions have been discovered. Since tosylhydrazones are readily prepared from carbonyl compounds, these transformations offer new synthetic opportunities for the unconventional modification of carbonyl compounds. This Minireview discusses all of these new reactions of a classic reagent. 相似文献
