Summary The chromatographic efficiency and stability of a new octadecyl-bonded polymer (ODP) gel, developed for reversed phase liquid
chromatography (RPLC) by substitution of stearate ester groups for the hydroxyl groups of vinyl alcohol copolymer particles,
were investigated and compared with those of conventional gels. The efficiency of the column packed with the ODP gel was practically
unaffected by repeated alternating passages of distilled water and acetonitrile, apparently because the gel volume was affected
similarly by both solvents. Like conventional ODS columns, the ODP column demonstrated a close correlation between log k’
(capacity factor) and carbon atom number in alkyl alcohols in accordance with Martin’s rule and H ∼ 4 dp, thus indicating
a high column efficiency for these alcohols. The capacity factor of the ODP column for pyridine with acidic eluent was smaller
than that of ODS columns, and the pyridine peak was sharp and symmetrical. 相似文献

Summary Silica whiskers were grown on the inside of an open-tubular glass capillary column according to a modified version of Schieke's method. The surface of the silica whiskers was modified by reaction with a flowing solution of octadecylsilyl trichloride and hexamethyl-disilazane, then with a mixture of trimethylchlorosilane and hexa-methyldisilazane. The whiskers grown and the surface modifications were examined with a scanning electron microscope and an electron microprobe X-ray analyser. Finally, the chemically bonded glasswhisker columns thus prepared were evaluated with mixtures of hydrocarbons, fatty acid methyl esters andn-alcohols under isothermal or programmed-temperature conditions.

Eine Säule mit chemisch gebundenen Whiskers für Zwecke der Gaschromatographie
Zusammenfassung Die Innenseite einer kapillaren Glasrohrkolonne wurde nach den Angaben von Schieke mit Quarz-Whiskers versehen. Deren Oberfläche wurde durch Reaktion mit einer fließenden Lösung von Oktadecylsilyltrichlorid und Hexamethyldisilazan, dann mit einer Mischung von Trimethylchlorsilan und Hexamethyldisilazan modifiziert. Die Whiskers und die veränderte Oberfläche wurden mit einem Raster-Elektronenmikroskop und mit einer Röntgenstrahlensonde untersucht. Schließlich wurden diese Säulen mit Kohlenwasserstoff-Gemischen, Fettsäuremethylestern undn-Alkoholen unter isothermen Bedingungen oder bei programmierten Temperaturen getestet.

Summary A new porous polymer obtained by the copolymerization of two cross-linking agents: 1,4-di(methacryloyloxymethyl) naphthalene
and divinylbenzene was used for the off-line preconcentration of chlorophenols from water solutions by solid-phase extraction.
In order to establish its applicability to preconcentration the recoveries and breakthrough volumes of phenol, 2-; 3-chlorophenols;
2,3-; 2,4-dichlorophenols and 2,4,6-trichlorophenols were studied. The recoveries of the studied compounds were compared with

本文研究出一种用双甲基丙烯酸乙二醇酯作交联剂, 通过二次聚合反应得出新型高分子多孔小球(NKG), 可作为气相色谱法的固定相. 它比通用的商品高分子多孔小球具有较高的分离效能和较广的应用范围, 并且克服了后者由于使用难以纯化的二乙烯苯作交联剂所导致的缺点. 提出以五种有机化合物的保留指数表征高分子多孔小球的极性. NKG有较高的柱效, 表明二次聚合反应大大地增加了它的溶剂效应, 从而使色谱过程中气液色谱占主导地位。通过测定NKG的吸附焓,证明二次聚合加强了组份固定相之间的相互作用. 此外, 本文还对双甲基丙烯酸乙二醇酯的合成方法进行研究, 用一种新的催化剂使酯交换反应时间从一般方法需要8h缩短到2h, 并且收率和纯度分别可达95和98%以上。 相似文献

An interpretation of specific electron-donor-acceptor interactions between the adsorbent coating the walls of a capillary column and adsorbates from the groups of alicyclic and aromatic hydrocarbons is proposed. The adsorbent was based on silica the surface of which was modified with silane containing 3-benzylketoimine groups to improve its adsorption properties. The columns studied had walls coated with 3-benzylketoimine groups, and Cu(II) chloride complexes or with Ni(II) chloride complexes. The adsorbate-adsorbent interactions were interpreted on the basis of the Kovats retention index, specific retention volume, molecular retention index, and ??M e values. The influence of particular elements of spatial structure and the positions of double bonds in the adsorbate molecule was evaluated on the modelling calculations based on the quantitative structure-retention relationships. The introduction of transition metal ions in the form of complexes into the adsorbents studied increased the strength of the interactions between the adsorption layer of the capillary column and the adsorbate molecules. The increased strength of the interactions was accompanied by increased selectivity of the columns with regard to a group of alicyclic and aromatic hydrocarbons. The analytical performance of the columns thus obtained was compared with that of a commercial column coated with the 100 % dimethyl polysiloxane phase. 相似文献

A lotus root-like porous nanocomposite polymer electrolyte (NCPE) based on poly(vinylidene difluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) [P(VDF-HFP)] copolymer and TiO2 nanoparticles was easily prepared by a non-solvent induced phase separation (NIPS) process. The formation mechanism of the lotus root-like porous structure is explained by a qualitative ternary phase diagram. The resulting NCPE had a high ionic conductivity up to 1.21 × 10−3 S cm−1 at room temperature, and exhibited a high electrochemical stability potential of 5.52 V (vs. Li/Li+), lithium ion transference number of 0.65 and 22.89 kJ mol−1 for the apparent activation energy for transportation of ions. It is of great potential application in polymer lithium ion batteries. 相似文献

Novel porous polymers with 4-ethoxy-3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone grafted to the porous surface have been prepared via the secondary functionalization of porous polymer monoliths obtained by the photopolymerization of oligo(carbonate dimethacrylate) and hydroxyethyl methacrylate in methanol solution. These quinone-functionalized polymers have been applied for the synthesis of triphenylantimony(V) catecholate-containing polymers by the oxidative addition reaction of quinone moieties with SbPh3. The obtained antimony-containing porous polymeric material is able to reversibly bind molecular oxygen in nearly quantitative yield. The rate of molecular oxygen sorption is 900 times higher for the porous material than that for the same film material and comparable with the process rate in solution. A porous polymer is deposited on the inner wall of fused silica capillary columns. The retention characteristics of this porous polymer were evaluated and found to be comparable with Porapak Q. The porous polymer has a high retention volume which enables the separation of permanent gases at ambient temperatures or higher. The hydrophobic character of the porous polymer allows the injection of water containing samples without changing retention due to adsorption of water. The inertness of the porous polymer allows the elution of a range of apolar and polar compounds. The maximum temperature of the porous polymer was estimated to be 250°C. With this new type of capillary column, high resolution separations are obtained in combination with short analysis times. 相似文献

The preparation of water-soluble polymers with physiological activity via ion bonding of low molecular weight physiologically active substances to a polymer carrier has been studied. The conditions for obtaining polymer salts of physiologically active substances with acid properties and amino-containing polymer carrier have been established. The maximum conversion degree has been determined. The polymer salts have been characterized by potentiometric titration, 31P-NMR and IR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. A procedure for synthesizing an MSM-41-type mesoporous mesophase material (MMM) layer, that is, a layer of a solid porous material with a regular arrangement of nanoscale calibrated pores and a unified geometry, on the inner wall of a capillary column was developed. Because of the high specific surface area of silica, capillary columns with a porous MMM layer on the basis of silica allow the amount of samples introduced to be increased by an order of magnitude compared with the known capillary porous-layer columns. A robust and water-stable porous coordination polymer [Cd(NDC)(0.5)(PCA)]·G(x) (1) (H(2)NDC = 2,6-napthalenedicarboxylic acid, HPCA = 4-pyridinecarboxylic acid, G = guest molecules) with new network topology has been synthesized solvothermally. The framework is 3D porous material and forms a 1D channel along the c-axis, with the channel dimensions ~9.48 × 7.83 ?(2). The compound has high selectivity in uptake of CO(2) over other gases (H(2), O(2), Ar, N(2), and CH(4)). The framework is highly stable in presence of water vapor even at 60 °C. The high CO(2) selectivity over other gases and water stability makes the compound promising candidate for industrial postcombustion gas separation application. 相似文献

Porous organic polymers (POPs) with high physiochemical stability and pseudocapacitive activity are crucial for supercapacitors with high specific capacitance and long cycle life. We report herein a hexaazatrinaphthylene-based POP (HPOP-1) for high-performance supercapacitor by introducing redox-active hexaazatrinaphthylene (HATN) moiety through Sonogashira–Hagihara coupling reaction. HATN moiety can undergo a proton-induced electron transfer redox reaction, which endows HPOP-1 with high pseudocapacitive activity. As electrode materials for supercapacitor application, HPOP-1 exhibits high specific capacitance (667 F g−1 at 0.5 A g−1) and long-term cyclic stability (90% capacitance retention after 10,000 cycles at 5 A g−1) in a three-electrode system with 1 M H2SO4 as the electrolyte. In addition, HPOP-1 also exhibits a specific capacitance of 376 F g−1 at 0.5 A g−1 in 1 M KOH electrolyte. An asymmetric supercapacitor was further fabricated with HPOP-1 as negative electrode and rGO as positive electrode, respectively. The device delivers a specific capacitance of 63 F g−1 at 0.5 A g−1 and a rate performance of 37 F g−1 at 5 A g−1. Our work provides a facile approach for the design and preparation of pseudocapacitive POPs with high specific capacitance and long cycle life. 相似文献
