We investigate one class of perturbations of a closed densely-defined operator in a Hilbert space. These perturbations change the domain of definition of the operator. We prove that the perturbed operator S is closed and densely defined. We construct the adjoint operator S*.  相似文献

We consider an operator function T in a Krein space which can formally be written as (0.1)but the last term on the right of (0.1) is replaced by a relatively form‐compact perturbation of a similar form. We study relations between the operator function T, a selfadjoint operator M in some Krein space, associated with T, and an operator which can be constructed with the help of the operator function –T–1. The results are applied to a Sturm‐Liouville problem with a coefficient depending rationally on the eigenvalue parameter.  相似文献

We describe the relationship between the expansion of a self-adjoint operator in generalized eigenvectors and the direct integral of Hilbert spaces. We perform the explicit diagonalization of a self-adjoint absolutely continuous singular integral operator Y using an Hermitian nonnegative kernel consisting of boundary values of the determining function of the operator T = X + iY with respect to the resolvent of the imaginary part of Y.  相似文献

We prove that every one-dimensional extension of a bitriangular operator has a cyclic commutant. We exhibit a hypercyclic operator whose square is not hypercyclic. Our operator is necessarily unbounded since a result of S. Ansari asserts that powers of a hypercyclic bounded operator are also hypercyclic. We also exhibit an unbounded Hilbert space operator whose non-zero vectors are hypercyclic. We analyze the limit of the spectrum of a geometric Dirac-type operator under a collapse with bounded diameter and bounded sectional curvature. In the case of a smooth limit space B, we show that the limit of the spectrum is given by the spectrum of a certain first-order differential operator on B, which can be constructed using superconnections. In the case of a general limit space X, we express the limit operator in terms of a transversally elliptic operator on a G-manifold X/ with X = X//G. As an application, we give a characterization of manifolds which do not admit uniform upper bounds, in terms of diameter and sectional curvature, on the k-th eigenvalue of the square of a Dirac-type operator. We also give a formula for the essential spectrum of a Dirac-type operator on a finite-volume manifold with pinched negative sectional curvature.  相似文献

In the present paper, we consider the Galerkin method for a quasilinear differentialoperator equation with a leading self-adjoint operator A(t) and a subordinate monotone operator K. For the projection subspaces we take linear spans of eigenelements of an operator similar to the leading operator A(t). We obtain new estimates for the Galerkin method and consider applications to an initial-boundary value problem for a parabolic equation of higher order.  相似文献

Let τ be a faithful normal semifinite trace on a von Neumann algebra. We establish the Leibniz criterion for sign-alternating series of τ-measurable operators and present an analogue of the criterion of series “sandwich” series for τ-measurable operators. We prove a refinement of this criterion for the τ-compact case. In terms of measure convergence topology, the criterion of τ-compactness of an arbitrary τ-measurable operator is established. We also give a sufficient condition of 1) τ-compactness of the commutator of a τ-measurable operator and a projection; 2) convergence of τ-measurable operator and projection commutator sequences to the zero operator in the measure τ.

We introduce the notion of spectralizable operators. A closed operator A in a Hilbert space is called spectralizable if there exists a non-constant polynomial p such that the operator p(A) is a scalar spectral operator in the sense of Dunford. We show that such operators belongs to the class of generalized spectral operators and give some examples where spectralizable operators occur naturally. The aim of this article is to extend results of Maslyuchenko, Mykhaylyuk and Popov about narrow operators on vector lattices. We give a new definition of a narrow operator, where a vector lattice as the domain space of a narrow operator is replaced with a lattice-normed space. We prove that every GAM-compact (bo)-norm continuous linear operator from a Banach-Kantorovich space V to a Banach lattice Y is narrow. Then we show that, under some mild conditions, a continuous dominated operator is narrow if and only if its exact dominant is so.  相似文献

We give an example of an irrational C 2-cofinite vertex operator algebra whose central charge is −2d for any positive integer d. This vertex operator algebra is given as the even part of the vertex operator superalgebra generated by d pairs of symplectic fermions, and it is just the realization of the c = −2-triplet algebra given by Kausch in the case d = 1. We also classify irreducible modules for this vertex operator algebra and determine its automorphism group. In 1990, J. L. Krivine introduced the notion of storage operator to simulate, for Church integers, the “call by value” in a context of a “call by name” strategy. In the present paper we define for every λ-term S which realizes the successor function on Church integers the notion of S-storage operator. We obtain close two-sided estimates for the best approximation of Laplace operator by linear bounded operators on the class of functions for which the square of the Laplace operator belongs to the L p -space. We estimate the best constant in the corresponding Kolmogorov inequality and the error of the optimal recovery of values of the Laplace operator on functions from this class defined with an error. We study the projection-difference methods for approximate solving the Cauchy problem for operator-differential equations with a leading self-adjoint operator A(t) and a subordinate linear operator K(t), whose definition domain is independent of t. Operators A(t) and K(t) are assumed to be sufficiently smooth. In this paper, we consider the symmetric q-Dirac operator. We describe dissipative, accumulative, self-adjoint and the other extensions of such operators with general boundary conditions. We construct a self-adjoint dilation of dissipative operator. Hence, we determine the scattering matrix of dilation. Later, we construct a functional model of this operator and define its characteristic function. Finally, we prove that all root vectors of this operator are complete.  相似文献
