Using a model of long-range interactions between vortices, we investigate numerically the alternating current (ac) response of two-dimensional vortex lattice with randomly distributed point-like pinning centers. Mode-locking steps are observed in the simulated current-voltages characteristics, and the number of steps increases with the superimposed ac amplitude and frequency. Our results are in good agreement with recent experiments.  相似文献

We report the temperature, magnetic field and time dependences of magnetization in advanced Ba122 superconducting tapes. The sample exhibits peculiar vortex creep behavior. Below 10 K, the normalized magnetization relaxation rate S = d ln(-M)/d ln(t) shows a temperature-insensitive plateau with a value comparable to that of low-temperature superconductors, which can be explained within the framework of collective creep theory. It then enters into a second collective creep regime when the temperature increases. Interestingly, the relaxation rate below 20 K tends to reach saturation with increasing the field. However, it changes to a power law dependence on the field at a higher temperature. A vortex phase diagram composed of the collective and the plastic creep regions is shown. Benefiting from the strong grain boundary pinning, the advanced Bal22 superconducting tape has potential to be applied not only in liquid helium but also in liquid hydrogen or at temperatures accessible with cryocoolers.  相似文献

Two-dimensional vector vortex solitons in harmonic optical lattices are investigated. The stability properties of such solitons are closely connected to the lattice depth V0. For small V0, vector vortex solitons with the total zero-angular momentum are more stable than those with the total nonzero-angular momentum, while for large V0, this case is inversed. If V0 is large enough, both the types of such solitons are stable.  相似文献

We have proposed and developed a microscopic model of depinning (escape) of a multiquantum vortex in a superconductor with a cylindrical nonconducting cavity with the transverse size smaller than or on the order of the superconducting coherence length ξ0 at zero temperature. The spectrum of subgap quasiparticle excitations in two- and three-quantum vortices trapped by a cylindrical cavity has been calculated in the quasiclassical approximation. It is shown that the transformation of the spectrum is accompanied by break of anomalous spectral branches due to normal reflection of quasiparticles from the surface of a defect. A microscopic (spectral) criterion for multiquantum vortex pinning has been proposed; according to this criterion, the multiquantum vortex can be trapped in the cavity during the formation of a minigap in the elementary excitation spectrum near the Fermi level. Self-consistent calculations of density of states N(r, ε) for two- and three-quantum vortices trapped by a cylindrical cavity of radius on the order of ξ0 have been performed using quasiclassical Eilenberger equations. In the pure limit and for low temperatures T ? T c , peculiarities observed in the N(r, ε) distribution reflect the presence of M anomalous spectral branches in the M-quantum vortex and confirm the correctness of the spectral criterion of pinning (depinning) of a multiquantum vortex.  相似文献

We introduce a “Coulombian renormalized energy” W which is a logarithmic type of interaction between points in the plane, computed by a “renormalization.” We prove various of its properties, such as the existence of minimizers, and show in particular, using results from number theory, that among lattice configurations the triangular lattice is the unique minimizer. A glass model of vortex pinning in highly disordered thin superconducting films in magnetic fields BHc2 at low temperatures is proposed. Strong collective pinning of a vortex system realized in disordered superconductors that are close to the quantum phase transition to the insulating phase, such as InOx, NbN, TiN, MoGe, and nanogranular aluminum, is considered theoretically for the first time. Utilizing the replica trick developed for the spin glass theory, we demonstrate that such vortex system is in non-ergodic state of glass type with a large kinetic inductance per square LK. The distribution function of local pinning energies is calculated, and it is shown that it possesses a wide gap; i.e., the probability to find a weakly pinned vortex is extremely low.

We investigate the mutual interaction between superconductivity and ferromagnetism in a Nb/Ni81 Ee19 multilayer by ac susceptibility measurements. Compared with a pure superconducting Nb film, the critical current density of the multilayer is apparently enhanced in a low magnetic field region but remains nearly the same in high magnetic fields, which indicates that a continuous ferromagnetic layer with in-plane magnetization can produce strong vortex pinning in a low field region. We interpret this unusual vortex-pinning phenomenon as a consequence of dynamic spin vortex interaction which induces a spin rotation following vortex movement. In addition, we propose that this dynamic interaction could be used for spin manipulation via a superconductor.  相似文献

Interaction of vortex rings with solid is an important research topic of hydrodynamic. In this study, a multiple-relaxation time (MRT) lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is used to investigate the flow of a vortex ring impacting spheroidal particles. The MRT-LBM is validated through the cases of vortex ring impacting a flat wall. The vortex evolution due to particle size, the aspect ratio of a prolate particle, as well as Reynolds $(Re)$ number are discussed in detail. When the vortex ring impacting a stationary sphere, the primary and secondary vortex rings wrap around each other, which is different from the situation of the vortex ring impacting a plate. For the vortex ring impacting with a prolate spheroid, the secondary vortex ring stretches mainly along the long axis of the ellipsoid particle. However, it is found that after the vortex wrapping stage, the primary vortex recovers along the short axis of the particle faster than that in the long axis, i.e., the primary vortex ring stretches mainly along the short axis of the particle. 多平面波干涉(MPWI)是产生光学涡旋晶格(OVL)的一种经典方式.通过定义波矢空间坐标系,提出了一种基于MPWI的OVL调控方法,模拟生成了四个平面波和五个平面波干涉产生的OVL,计算了其梯度力和能流分布,分析了其在微粒操纵领域中的应用.然后,通过调控其部分波矢大小和旋转波矢角度,得到了更加丰富灵活的光场分布.最终,通过分析其梯度力和能流分布,发现该调控方法可以定制适合粒子操纵的特殊光场.该研究丰富了基于MPWI的OVL的空间模式,为OVL的应用提供了新思路.  相似文献

A dynamic model of the nanostructuring burnishing of a surface of metallic details taking into consideration plastic deformations has been suggested. To describe the plasticity, the ideology of dimension reduction method supplemented with the plasticity criterion is used. The model considers the action of the normal burnishing force and the tangential friction force.
