New methods for obtaining representations of solutions of the Cauchy problem for linear evolution equations, i.e., equations of the form u t '(t, x) = Lu(t, x), where the operator L is linear and depends only on the spatial variable x and does not depend on time t, are proposed. A solution of the Cauchy problem, that is, the exponential of the operator tL, is found on the basis of constructions proposed by the author combined with Chernoff’s theorem on strongly continuous operator semigroups.  相似文献

The choice of a differential diffusion operator with discontinuous coefficients that corresponds to a finite flow velocity and a finite concentration is substantiated. For the equation with a uniformly elliptic operator and a nonzero diffusion coefficient, conditions are established for the existence and uniqueness of a solution to the corresponding Cauchy problem. For the diffusion equation with degeneration on a half-line, it is proved that the Cauchy problem with an arbitrary initial condition has a unique solution if and only if there is no flux from the degeneration domain to the ellipticity domain of the operator. Under this condition, a sequence of solutions to regularized problems is proved to converge uniformly to the solution of the degenerate problem in L 1(R) on each interval.  相似文献

We study a Cauchy type problem for a differential equation containing a fractional Riemann-Liouville partial derivative of order α, 0 < α < 2. Conditions under which the solution of the problem tends to zero as |x| → ∞ are obtained. We prove an existence theorem for a classical solution of the Cauchy type problem and show that the solution has a singularity as t → 0 of order 1 ? α if 0 < α ≤ 1 and of order 2 ? α if 1 < α < 2.  相似文献

Let D be an open connected subset of the complex plane C with sufficiently smooth boundary ?D. Perturbing the Cauchy problem for the Cauchy–Riemann system ??u = f in D with boundary data on a closed subset S ? ?D, we obtain a family of mixed problems of the Zaremba-type for the Laplace equation depending on a small parameter ε ∈ (0, 1] in the boundary condition. Despite the fact that the mixed problems include noncoercive boundary conditions on ?D\S, each of them has a unique solution in some appropriate Hilbert space H +(D) densely embedded in the Lebesgue space L 2(?D) and the Sobolev–Slobodetski? space H 1/2?δ(D) for every δ > 0. The corresponding family of the solutions {u ε} converges to a solution to the Cauchy problem in H +(D) (if the latter exists). Moreover, the existence of a solution to the Cauchy problem in H +(D) is equivalent to boundedness of the family {u ε} in this space. Thus, we propose solvability conditions for the Cauchy problem and an effective method of constructing a solution in the form of Carleman-type formulas.  相似文献

In a Banach space E, we consider the abstract Euler–Poisson–Darboux equation u″(t) + kt?1u′(t) = Au(t) on the half-line. (Here k ∈ ? is a parameter, and A is a closed linear operator with dense domain on E.) We obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for the solvability of the Cauchy problem u(0) = 0, lim t→0+t k u′(t) = u1, k < 0, for this equation. The condition is stated in terms of an estimate for the norms of the fractional power of the resolvent of A and its derivatives. We introduce the operator Bessel function with negative index and study its properties.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the compactness of the hypercomplex commutator S γ M a ? M a S γ, where S γ is the Cauchy singular integral operator (in the Douglis sense), a is a Hölder continuous hypercomplex function and M a is the multiplication operator given by M a f = a f. We extend a known compactness sufficient condition for the commutator of the Cauchy singular integral operator to the frame of the hypercomplex analysis, where γ is merely required to be an arbitrary regular closed Jordan curve.  相似文献

We define the set of ordered covering of a mapping that acts in partially ordered spaces; we suggest a method for finding the set of ordered covering of vector functions of several variables and the Nemytskii operator acting in Lebesgue spaces. We prove assertions on operator inequalities in arbitrary partially ordered spaces. We obtain conditions that use a set of ordered covering of the corresponding mapping and ensure that the existence of an element u such that f(u) ≥ y implies the solvability of the equation f(x) = y and the estimate xu for its solution. We study the problem on the existence of the minimal and least solutions. These results are used for the analysis of an implicit differential equation. For the Cauchy problem, we prove a theorem on an inequality of the Chaplygin type.  相似文献

Throughout this paper, using the p-adic wavelet basis together with the help of separation of variables and the Adomian decomposition method (as a scheme in numerical analysis) we initially investigate the solution of Cauchy problem for two classes of the first and second order of pseudo-differential equations involving the pseudo-differential operators such as Taibleson fractional operator in the setting of p-adic field.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with a class of nonlinear Sobolev type fractional integro-differential equations with delay using Hilfer fractional derivative, which generalized the famous Riemann–Liouville fractional derivative. The definition of mild solutions for studied problem was given based on an operator family generated by the operator pair (AB) and probability density function. Combining with the techniques of fractional calculus, measure of noncompactness and fixed point theorem, we obtain new existence result of mild solutions with two new characteristic solution operators and the assumptions that the nonlinear term satisfies some growth condition and noncompactness measure condition. The results obtained improve and extend some related conclusions on this topic. At last, an example is given to illustrate our main results.  相似文献

The authors study a porous medium equation with a right-hand side. The operator has nonlocal diffusion effects given by an inverse fractional Laplacian operator. The derivative in time is also fractional and is of Caputo-type, which takes into account"memory". The precise model isD_t~αu- div(u(-Δ)~(-σ)u) = f, 0 σ 1/2.This paper poses the problem over {t ∈ R~+, x ∈ R~n} with nonnegative initial data u(0, x) ≥0 as well as the right-hand side f ≥ 0. The existence for weak solutions when f, u(0, x)have exponential decay at infinity is proved. The main result is H¨older continuity for such weak solutions.  相似文献

We study a projection-difference method for approximately solving the Cauchy problem u′(t) + A(t)u(t) + K(t)u(t) = h(t), u(0) = 0 for a linear differential-operator equation in a Hilbert space, where A(t) is a self-adjoint operator and K(t) is an operator subordinate to A(t). Time discretization is based on a three-level difference scheme, and space discretization is carried out by the Galerkin method. Under certain smoothness conditions on the function h(t), we obtain estimates for the convergence rate of the approximate solutions to the exact solution.  相似文献

This paper concerns with the existence of solutions for the following fractional Kirchhoff problem with critical nonlinearity:
$${\left( {\int {\int {_{{\mathbb{R}^{2N}}}\frac{{{{\left| {u\left( x \right) - u\left( y \right)} \right|}^2}}}{{{{\left| {x - y} \right|}^{N + 2s}}}}dxdy} } } \right)^{\theta - 1}}{\left( { - \Delta } \right)^s}u = \lambda h\left( x \right){u^{p - 1}} + {u^{2_s^* - 1}} in {\mathbb{R}^N},$$
where (?Δ) s is the fractional Laplacian operator with 0 < s < 1, 2 s * = 2N/(N ? 2s), N > 2s, p ∈ (1, 2 s *), θ ∈ [1, 2 s */2), h is a nonnegative function and λ a real positive parameter. Using the Ekeland variational principle and the mountain pass theorem, we obtain the existence and multiplicity of solutions for the above problem for suitable parameter λ > 0. Furthermore, under some appropriate assumptions, our result can be extended to the setting of a class of nonlocal integro-differential equations. The remarkable feature of this paper is the fact that the coefficient of fractional Laplace operator could be zero at zero, which implies that the above Kirchhoff problem is degenerate. Hence our results are new even in the Laplacian case.

The Cauchy problem for a class of semilinear pseudo-hyperbolic equations is considered. For the corresponding linear problems, we obtain L p L q estimates. By using these estimates, we prove global solvability theorems. We also establish the behavior of solutions as t → + ∞.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the existence of semiclassical states for some p-Laplacian equation. Under given conditions and minimax methods, we show that this problem has at least one positive solution provided that εE; for any m ∈ ?, it has m pairs solutions if εE m , where E, Em are sufficiently small positive numbers. Moreover, these solutions are closed to zero in W1,p(? N ) as ε → 0.  相似文献

We consider a self-adjoint elliptic operator Aε, ε> 0, on L2(Rd; Cn) given by the differential expression b(D)*g(x/ε)b(D). Here \(b(D) = \sum\nolimits_{j = 1}^d {b_j D_j }\) is a first-order matrix differential operator such that the symbol b(ξ) has maximal rank. The matrix-valued function g(x) is bounded, positive definite, and periodic with respect to some lattice. We study the operator exponential \({e^{ - i\tau {A_\varepsilon }}}\), where τ ∈ R. It is shown that, as ε → 0, the operator \({e^{ - i\tau {A_\varepsilon }}}\) converges to \({e^{ - i\tau {A^0}}}\) in the norm of operators acting from the Sobolev space Hs(Rd;Cn) (with suitable s) to L2(Rd;Cn). Here A0 is the effective operator with constant coefficients. Order-sharp error estimates are obtained. The question about the sharpness of the result with respect to the type of the operator norm is studied. Similar results are obtained for more general operators. The results are applied to study the behavior of the solution of the Cauchy problem for the Schrödinger-type equation i?τuε(x, τ) = Aεuε(x, τ).  相似文献

We consider a self-adjoint matrix elliptic operator A ε, ε > 0, on L 2(R d ;C n ) given by the differential expression b(D)*g(x/ε)b(D). The matrix-valued function g(x) is bounded, positive definite, and periodic with respect to some lattice; b(D) is an (m × n)-matrix first order differential operator such that mn and the symbol b(ξ) has maximal rank. We study the operator cosine cos(τA ε 1/2 ), where τ ∈ R. It is shown that, as ε → 0, the operator cos(τA ε 1/2 ) converges to cos(τ(A 0)1/2) in the norm of operators acting from the Sobolev space H s (R d ;C n ) (with a suitable s) to L 2(R d ;C n ). Here A 0 is the effective operator with constant coefficients. Sharp-order error estimates are obtained. The question about the sharpness of the result with respect to the type of the operator norm is studied. Similar results are obtained for more general operators. The results are applied to study the behavior of the solution of the Cauchy problem for the hyperbolic equation ? τ 2 u ε (x, τ) = ?A ε u ε (x, τ).  相似文献

Let S be a semigroup, H a 2-torsion free, abelian group and \(C^2f\) the second order Cauchy difference of a function \(f:S \rightarrow H\). Assuming that H is uniquely 2-divisible or S is generated by its squares we prove that the solutions f of \(C^2f = 0\) are the functions of the form \(f(x) = j(x) + B(x,x)\), where j is a solution of the symmetrized additive Cauchy equation and B is bi-additive. Under certain conditions we prove that the terms j and B are continuous, if f is. We relate the solutions f of \(C^2f = 0\) to Fréchet’s functional equation and to polynomials of degree less than or equal to 2.  相似文献

A two-point boundary value problem is considered on the interval [0, 1], where the leading term in the differential operator is a Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative of order 2 ? δ with 0 < δ < 1. It is shown that any solution of such a problem can be expressed in terms of solutions to two associated weakly singular Volterra integral equations of the second kind. As a consequence, existence and uniqueness of a solution to the boundary value problem are proved, the structure of this solution is elucidated, and sharp bounds on its derivatives (in terms of the parameter δ) are derived. These results show that in general the first-order derivative of the solution will blow up at x = 0, so accurate numerical solution of this class of problems is not straightforward. The reformulation of the boundary problem in terms of Volterra integral equations enables the construction of two distinct numerical methods for its solution, both based on piecewise-polynomial collocation. Convergence rates for these methods are proved and numerical results are presented to demonstrate their performance.  相似文献

We consider a closed set S?? n and a linear operator
$\Phi \colon \mathbb{R}[X_1,\ldots,X_n]\rightarrow \mathbb{R}[X_1,\ldots,X_n]$
that preserves nonnegative polynomials, in the following sense: if f≥0 on S, then Φ(f)≥0 on S as well. We show that each such operator is given by integration with respect to a measure taking nonnegative functions as its values. This can be seen as a generalization of Haviland’s Theorem, which concerns linear functionals on ?[X 1,…,X n ]. For compact sets S we use the result to show that any nonnegativity preserving operator is a pointwise limit of very simple nonnegativity preservers with finite dimensional range.
