Nanocrystalline Fe-Ti-Si-Al flaky powders with large aspect ratio have been fabricated by high-energy planetary milling melt-spun ribbons. Magnetic composites made of thermally annealed Fe-Ti-Si-Al flaky powders embedded in epoxy resin exhibit excellent electromagnetic wave absorption properties in a wide frequency range from 100 MHz to 2.65 GHz. Ti additions can enhance the electrical resistivity of Fe-Si-Al alloy without changing the crystallographic structure, resulting in the reduction of eddy current loss at high frequencies. Moreover, the substitution of Ti for Fe enhances the cut-off frequency of flaky powder-polymer composites. Meanwhile, compared to the Ti-free composites, reflection loss of the Ti-doped composites (3 mm in thickness) is lower than −10 dB in the frequency range from 593 MHz to 1.83 GHz, indicating that the composites can effectively work in a wider frequency bandwidth.  相似文献

This work focuses on the effect of phosphate modification on the magnetic and surface properties of iron-phenolic soft magnetic composite materials. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra, EDX analysis, distribution maps, X-ray diffraction pattern and density measurements show that the particles surface layer contains a thin layer of nanocrystalline/amorphous phosphate with high coverage of powders surface. Magnetic measurements show that phosphating treatment decreases the loss factor, imaginary part of permeability, increases the electrical resistivity and operating frequencies by decreasing the effective particle size. The operating frequency increases from 200 kHz for uncoated-powders samples to 1 MHz for phosphated-powders samples at optimum concentration. Phosphated iron powders that are covered by 0.7 wt% of phenolic resin exhibits lower magnetic loss and higher frequency stability. The minimum loss factor and maximum permeability at each frequency can be obtained for 0.01 g/ml orthophosphoric acid concentration in comparison with other concentrations including 0.005 and 0.04 g/ml.  相似文献

Magnetoelectric composites of NiFe2O4 and Ba0.8Sr0.2TiO3 were prepared using conventional double-sintering ceramic method. The phase formation of magnetoelectric composites was confirmed by XRD technique. Variation of dielectric constant and loss tangent at room temperature with frequency in the range 100 Hz-1 MHz has been studied. Also the variation of dielectric constant and loss tangent with temperature and composition at fixed frequencies of 1 kHz, 10 kHz, 100 kHz and 1 MHz is reported. The static value of the magnetoelectric conversion factor was measured as a function of intensity of the magnetic field. The ME voltage coefficient of about 430 μV/cm Oe was observed for 15% NiFe2O4+85% Ba0.8Sr0.2TiO3 composite. All the samples show linear variation of magnetoelectric conversion in the presence of static magnetic field.  相似文献

Al2O3/FeCrAl composite coatings were fabricated by atmosphere plasma spraying technique. Microstructure and dielectric properties in the frequency range from 8.2 to 12.4 GHz were investigated. The microstructure of composite coatings shows a uniform dispersion of metal particles with litter pores and microcracks in the composite coatings. The relaxation polarization and interfacial polarization in the coatings would contribute to enhance ?′ with rising FeCrAl content, and the associated loss could be considered as a dominating factor enhancing ?″. By calculating the microwave-absorption as a single-layer absorber, for the composite coatings with 41 wt.% FeCrAl content, the reflection loss values exceeding −10 dB are achieved in the frequency range of 9.1-10.6 GHz when the coating thickness is 1.3 mm.  相似文献

Many applications require micro-vibration measurement, especially multi-points detection at long distance in real-time. In this paper, a micro-vibration measurement approach based on digital holographic interferometry is proposed for middle-low frequency detection. It can be used to monitor irregular frequency/amplitude vibration in selected region over 10 m away simultaneously and synchronously. A series of experiments were conducted including real-time measurement of 300 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz and 3 kHz constant frequency/amplitude periodic vibration, precision and frequency response tests with calibration of LDV, 1 kHz irregular amplitude vibration, irregular frequency/amplitude vibration as well as the real-time measurement and simultaneous display of multi-points vibration. The experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method and reveal its unique advantages.  相似文献

This paper reports the design, fabrication, and performance of miniature micromachined high frequency PMN-PT/epoxy 1-3 composite ultrasonic annular arrays. The PMN-PT single crystal 1-3 composites were made with micromachining techniques. The area of a single crystal pillar was 9 × 9 μm. The width of the kerf among pillars was ∼5 μm and the kerfs were filled with a polymer. The composite thickness was 25 μm. A six-element annular transducer of equal element area of 0.2 mm2 with 16 μm kerf widths between annuli was produced. The aperture size the array transducer is about 1.5 mm in diameter. A novel electrical interconnection strategy for high density array elements was implemented. After the transducer was attached to the electric connection board and packaged, the array transducer was tested in a pulse/echo arrangement, whereby the center frequency, bandwidth, two-way insertion loss (IL), and cross talk between adjacent elements were measured for each annulus. The center frequency was 50 MHz and −6 dB bandwidth was 90%. The average insertion loss was 19.5 dB at 50 MHz and the crosstalk between adjacent elements was about −35 dB. The micromachining techniques described in this paper are promising for the fabrication of other types of high frequency transducers, e.g. 1D and 2D arrays.  相似文献

Traffic noise attenuation at different 1/3-octave frequencies is measured at three vegetation sites and a control site in Delhi, the capital city of India. The study indicates that attenuation generally increases with frequency. At low frequencies, maxima (between 10 and 16 dB) in relative attenuation are observed in the frequency interval between 315 and 400 Hz. Comparatively greater relative attenuation (>20 dB) is observed in the high frequency range between 10 and 12.5 kHz. A significantly higher relative attenuation of more than 24 dB is observed characteristically at 3.15 kHz at all the vegetation sites. The results indicate that vegetation belts could be used as effective barriers for traffic noise control along the roadsides.  相似文献

We investigate the effects of low cut-off frequency of optical receiver on the performance of lightwave systems. The results show that we can reduce the tone-induced power penalty by ∼0.8 dB (tone frequency = 1 MHz) using a high-pass filter in the optical receiver. In addition, our calculation shows that the power penalty can be negligible (<0.1 dB) even when the low cut-off frequency of the 10 Gb/s optical receiver is increased up to ∼10 MHz.  相似文献

This paper investigates the effect of particle size and compaction pressure on the magnetic properties of iron-phenolic soft magnetic composites (50 Hz-1000 kHz). The results showed that the optimum amount of phenolic resin to attain maximum permeability and minimum loss factor at 10 kHz is 0.7 wt% for samples containing iron powder with average particle size ∼150 μm compacted at 800 MPa. In accordance with this resin content, at high frequencies (>300 kHz), the sample with lower particle size ∼10 μm exhibits higher magnetic permeability, higher operating frequencies and lower imaginary part of permeability. With increase in the compaction pressure, specific resistivity decreases and imaginary and real parts of permeability increase at low frequencies.  相似文献

Low-frequency magnetic properties of ferromagnetic composite wires were studied with and without coating by ferrofluid. Non-magnetic CuBe wires of 0.1 mm diameter were electroplated with FeCoNi layer of 1 μm thickness. Magnetization curves were measured in the frequency range of 10 Hz–3 kHz. The composite CuBe/FeCoNi/ferrofluid material shows a hysteretic behaviour in a small field. The hysteresis loop of ferrofluid covered electroplated wire is not a simple sum of the ferrofluid “wire” plus non-covered wire signals. It indicates an interaction between magnetic wire and ferrofluid which can be revealed by low-frequency measurements. The combination “electroplated wire/ferrofluid” can be considered as a new type of composite magnetic material consisting of solid magnetic core coated by complementary liquid magnetic material. Low-frequency measurements in presence of ferrofluid can be a useful method to study magnetic properties of ferromagnets.  相似文献

The conduction noise suppression in radio frequency region using film type of the Fe-filled carbon nanotubes and its epoxy composite was evaluated on a coplanar waveguide. Fe in carbon nanotubes have shown α-Fe crystalline structure and had a coercivity of 650 Oe. The magnitudes of the signal attenuation of Fe-filled carbon nanotubes on coplanar waveguide were shown in the range of about 10–18 dB/cm at 20 GHz (the stop-band frequency region). The power losses of these films exhibited 65–85% at 20 GHz in the stop-band frequency.  相似文献

Fe-40 wt%Ni alloys with granular shape and flake shape were prepared by a mechanical alloying (MA) and annealing method. The phase composition and morphology of the FeNi alloys, electromagnetic parameters, and microwave absorbing properties of the silicone rubber composite absorbers filled with the as-prepared FeNi alloy particles were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and vector network analyzer. The XRD results indicate that the crystalline structures of the Fe-40 wt%Ni alloys prepared by both one-step and two-step MA processes are face-centered cubic (fcc) Ni (Fe) solid solutions, and the structures can be retained after annealing at 600 °C for 2 h. SEM images show that the FeNi alloy powders for one-step process have a granular shape; however the particles turned into flake form when they were sequentially milled with absolute ethyl alcohol. With the increase in thickness of composite absorber, the reflection loss (RL) decreases, and the peak for minimum reflection loss shifts towards the lower frequency range. Compared to the absorbers filled with the granular FeNi alloy, the absorbers filled with flaky FeNi alloys possess higher complex permittivities and permeabilities and have a lower RL and peak frequency under the same thickness. Microwave absorbing materials with a low reflection loss peak in the range of 1-4 GHz are obtained, and their microwave absorbing properties can be adjustable by changing their thicknesses.  相似文献

We have developed a practical and precise frequency measurement system at 1.5 μm telecommunication band. An electro-optic-modulator based optical frequency comb is phase-locked to a dither-free acetylene-stabilized laser to realize an optical frequency comb with frequency uncertainty of 10 kHz (5 × 10−11) and the linewidth of 15 kHz. The present frequency comb can be also used as an optical frequency reference grid defined by ITU-T (International Telecommunication Union, Telecommunication Standardization Sector). Using the present frequency measurement system, we have demonstrated the first optical frequency measurement of 12C16O overtone absorption lines around 1.56 μm with the uncertainty of lower than 900 kHz.  相似文献

Silver epoxy was selected to bond transducer plates on glass substrates. The properties and thickness of the bonding medium affect the electrical input impedance of the transducer. Thus, the thickness of the silver epoxy bonding layer was used as a design parameter to optimize the structure for the transducer input impedance to match the 50 Ω output impedance of most radio frequency (RF) generators. Simulation and experimental results show that nearly perfect matching is achieved without using any matching circuit. At the matching condition, the transducer operates at a frequency band a little bit below the half-wavelength resonant frequency of the piezoelectric plate. In experiments, lead titanate (PT) piezoelectric plates were employed. Both full-size, 11.5 mm × 2 mm × 0.4 mm, and half-size, 5.75 mm × 2 mm × 0.4 mm, can be well matched using optimal silver epoxy thickness. The transducer assemblies demonstrate high efficiency. The conversion loss from electrical power to acoustic power in soda-lime glass is 4.3 dB. This loss is low considering the fact that the transducers operate at off-resonance by 12%. With proper choice of silver epoxy thickness, the transducer can be matched at the fundamental, the 3rd and 5th harmonic frequencies. This leads to the possible realization of triple-band transducers. Reliability was assessed with thermal cycling test according to Telcordia GR-468-Core recommendation. Of the 30 transducer assemblies tested, none broke until 2900 cycles and 27 have sustained beyond 4050 cycles.  相似文献

Dielectric properties are reported on polycrystalline cubic ordered-perovskite cuprate Sr2Cu(Re0.69Ca0.31)O6 in the frequency range 10 Hz-100 kHz at temperature from 300 to 500 K. Both the dielectric permittivity and dielectric loss factor are found to be frequency and temperature dependent. The enhanced value of the low frequency dielectric permittivity is associated to ionic polarization and interfacial phenomena. The material is found to possess significantly high dielectric permittivity. The calculated ac conductivity suggests semiconducting behaviour for the Sr2Cu(Re0.69Ca0.31)O6.  相似文献

This paper focuses on novel iron-based soft magnetic composites synthesis utilizing high thermal stability silicone resin to coat iron powder. The effect of an annealing treatment on the magnetic properties of synthesized magnets was investigated. The coated silicone insulating layer was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. Silicone uniformly coated the powder surface, resulting in a reduction of the imaginary part of the permeability, thereby increasing the electrical resistivity and the operating frequency of the synthesized magnets. The annealing treatment increased the initial permeability, the maximum permeability, and the magnetic induction, and decreased the coercivity. Annealing at 580 °C increased the maximum permeability by 72.5%. The result of annealing at 580 °C shows that the ferromagnetic resonance frequency increased from 2 kHz for conventional epoxy resin coated samples to 80 kHz for the silicone resin insulated composites.  相似文献

This paper focuses on iron-based soft magnetic composites which were synthesized by utilizing Mn–Zn ferrite nanoparticles to coat iron powder. The nanocrystalline iron powders, with an average particle diameter of 20 nm, were obtained via the sol–gel method. Scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and distribution maps show that the iron particle surface is covered with a thin layer of Mn–Zn ferrites. Mn–Zn ferrite uniformly coated the surface of the powder particles, resulting in a reduced imaginary permeability, increased electrical resistivity and a higher operating frequency of the synthesized magnets. Mn–Zn ferrite coated samples have higher permeability and lower magnetic loss when compared with the non-magnetic epoxy resin coated compacts. The real part of permeability increases by 33.5% when compared with the epoxy resin coated samples at 10 kHz. The effects of heat treatment temperature on crystalline phase formation and on the magnetic properties of the Mn–Zn ferrite were investigated via X-ray diffraction and a vibrating sample magnetometer. Ferrites decomposed to FeO and MnO after annealing above 400 °C in nitrogen; thus it is the optimum annealing temperature to attain the desired permeability.  相似文献

The surface of carbonyl iron powder or a mixture of carbonyl iron and ferrite was coated with polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microspheres by a hybridization method to make hybrid powders, and then electromagnetic wave absorption properties of the hybrid composites prepared with these hybrid powders have been investigated. As for the carbonyl iron/PMMA hybrid composite, the reflection loss less than −20 dB could be achieved in a frequency range of 1.7–5.0 GHz when the composite thickness was below 5.00 mm. In the case of the carbonyl iron-ferrite/PMMA hybrid composite, a similar reflection loss was observed in a frequency range of 4.3–13.0 GHz. Thus, the addition of ferrite was found to be useful for achieving a large absorption in a wide frequency range, especially for higher frequency values. Simulated values for the minimum reflection loss are well agreed with actually measured ones, because of homogeneous distribution of carbonyl iron and/or ferrite in these hybrid composites.  相似文献

A new amorphous alloy has been recently introduced which shows a saturation magnetic induction Bs of 1.64 T which is compared with Bs=1.57 T for a currently available Fe-based amorphous alloy and decreased magnetic losses. Such a combination is rare but can be explained in terms of induced magnetic anisotropy being reduced by the alloy's chemistry and its heat treatment. It has been found that the region of magnetization rotation in the new alloy is considerably narrowed, resulting in reduced exciting power in the magnetic devices utilizing the material. Efforts to increase Bs also have been made for nanocrystalline alloys. For example, a nanocrystalline alloy having a composition of Fe80.5Cu1.5Si4B14 shows Bs exceeding 1.8 T. The iron loss at 50 Hz and at 1.6 T induction in a toroidal core of this material is 0.46 W/kg which is 2/3 that of a grain-oriented silicon steel. At 20 kHz/0.2 T excitation, the iron loss is about 60% of that in an Fe-based amorphous alloy which is widely used in power electronics. Another example is a Fe85Si2B8P4Cu1 nanocrystalline alloy with a Bs of 1.8 T, which is reported to exhibit a magnetic core loss of about 0.2 W/kg at 50 Hz and at 1.5 T induction. This article is a review of these new developments and their impacts on energy efficient magnetic devices.  相似文献

CuBe/Insulator/NiCoP composite wire was prepared by electroless deposition on an insulated CuBe core with a diameter of 90 μm. The conversion relationship between the magneto-impedance and effective magnetic permeability of the composite wire was derived from an energy conversion model. The evolution of the magnetic permeability and the giant magneto-impedance (GMI) effect were investigated. The results show that a distinct GMI effect can be obtained at relatively low frequency. The largest GMI ratio is 240% at 600 kHz, and the maximal field sensitivity is 34%/Oe.  相似文献
