Core-shell Co(1−x)NixFe2O4/polyaniline nanoparticles, where the core was Co(1−x)NixFe2O4 and the shell was polyaniline, were prepared by the combination of sol-gel process and in-situ polymerization methods. Nanoparticles were investigated by Fourier transform spectrometer, X-ray diffraction diffractometer, Scanning electron microscope, Differential thermal analysis and Superconductor quantum interference device. The results showed that the saturation magnetization of pure Co(1−x)NixFe2O4 nanoparticles were 57.57 emu/g, but Co(1−x)NixFe2O4/polyaniline composites were 37.36 emu/g. It was attributed to the lower content (15 wt%), smaller size and their uneven distribution of Co(1−x)NixFe2O4 nanoparticles in the final microsphere composites. Both Co(1−x)NixFe2O4 and PANI/Co(1−x)NixFe2O4 showed superparamagnetism.  相似文献

The electronic structures of Fe-based superconductor SmFeAsO1−xFx and SmFe1−yIryAsO are compared through X-ray photoemission spectroscopy in this study. With fluorine or iridium doping, the electronic structure and chemical environment of the SmFeAsO system were changed. The fluorine was doped at an oxygen site which introduced electrons to a reservoir Sm–O layer. The iridium was doped at an Fe site which introduced electrons to a conduction Fe–As layer directly. In a parent material SmFeAsO, the magnetic ordering corresponding to Fe3d in the low-spin state is suppressed by both fluorine and iridium doping through suppressing the magnetism of 3d itinerant electrons. Compared to fluorine doping, iridium doping affected superconductivity more significantly due to an iridium-induced disorder in FeAs layers.  相似文献

The influences of Mn doping on the structural quality of the ZnxMn1−xO:N alloy films have been investigated by XRD. Chemical compositions of the samples (Zn and Mn content) and their valence states were determined by X-ray photoelectron spectrometry (XPS). Hall effect measurements versus temperature for ZnxMn1−xO:N samples have been designed and studied in detail. The ferromagnetic transitions happened at different TC should explain that the magnetic transition in field-cooled magnetization of Zn1−xMnxO:N films at low temperature is caused by the strong p-d exchange interactions besides magnetic transition at 46 K resulting from Mn oxide, and that the room temperature ferromagnetic signatures are attributed to the uncompensated spins at the surface of anti-ferromagnetic nano-crystal of Mn-related Zn(Mn)O.  相似文献

We have investigated the electromagnetic (EM) characteristics of CoxMn1−xFe2O4 spinel ferrite (where x=0.0, 0.5 and 1.0) nanoparticles (NPs)/paraffin nanocomposite material at 8-20 GHz. CoxMn1−xFe2O4 NPs have been synthesized by cetyltrimethylammonium assisted hydrothermal route using NaOH. A variation in complex dielectric permittivity and magnetic permeability at room temperature with frequency in the range 8-20 GHz has been studied. Particles showed phase purity and crystallinity in powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. At the same time, CoxMn1−xFe2O4 NPs demonstrated a spinel cubic structure from XRD results. A reflection loss of −46.60 dB was found at 10.5 GHz for an absorber thickness of 2 mm. CoxMn1−xFe2O4 may be attractive candidates for EM wave absorption materials.  相似文献

Magnetic properties of the single-crystalline Lu2Fe17−xMnx compounds, in which x=0, 0.5, and 2, with the Th2Ni17-type crystal structure are reported. The Lu2Fe17−xMnx compounds with x=0 and 0.5 are ferromagnets at low temperatures and antiferromagnets at high temperatures. The compound with x=2 is always a ferromagnet. The easy-plane magnetic anisotropy in the Lu2Fe17−xMnx ferromagnets drastically weakens with increase in Mn content up to x=2. The temperature dependence of the first magnetic anisotropy constant was obtained and compared with the single-ion model prediction.  相似文献

A series of rare-earth doped BiFeO3 samples, Bi1−xRxFeO3 (x=0-1, R=La, Nd, Sm, Eu and Tb), were prepared in this work. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the structure of rare-earth doped BiFeO3 was transformed from rhombohedral lattice to orthorhombic one by increasing x. The lattice constants and unit-cell volume decreased with the increasing of the doping content, while both the Néel temperature and magnetization were enhanced. A magnetic phase transition was observed at about 35 K for BiFeO3. The variation of the magnetization with temperature depended on applied field strength and magnetizing history, which was explained according to the antiferromagnetic exchange interaction between Fe and R sites in Bi1−xRxFeO3(x>0). The magnetocrystalline anisotropy contributed by Fe sublattice gave rise to a large coercivity in BixNd1−xFeO3 with an orthorhombic structure.  相似文献

The influence of the substitution of manganese by boron on the crystal structure and magnetic properties of Ni2Mn1−xBxGa Heusler alloys with 0?x?0.5 has been investigated using X-ray diffraction, thermal expansion, resistivity, and magnetization measurements. The samples with concentrations x<0.25 were found to be of single phase and belonged to the cubic L21 crystal structure at room temperature. Crystal cell parameters of the alloys decreased from 5.830 to 5.825 Å with increasing boron concentration (x) from 0 to 0.25. The alloys were ferromagnetically ordered at 5 K and the saturation magnetization decreased with increasing boron concentration. The ferromagnetic ordering and structural transition temperatures for 0?x?0.3 have been observed and the phase (xT) diagram of the Ni2Mn1−xBxGa system was constructed. The phase (xT) diagram indicates that the ground state of Ni2Mn1−xBxGa alloys belongs to ferromagnetic martensitic, premartensitic, and austenitic phases in x?0.12, 0.12<x?0.18, and 0.18<x?0.3, respectively. The relative influence of cell parameters and electron concentrations on the phase diagram is discussed.  相似文献

We report results on the structural and magnetic properties of the CoxNi1−xTa2O6 series of compounds by X-ray powder diffraction, magnetic susceptibility and magnetization measurements. X-ray refinements carried out by the Rietveld method show that these compounds crystallize in a P42/mnm tetragonal structure. Magnetic susceptibility curves show a broadened maximum witnessing that these compounds exhibit two-dimensional antiferromagnetic behaviors. All the CoxNi1−xTa2O6 compounds order below 10 K and present a large ion anisotropy. The magnetic properties have been determined in both the paramagnetic and antiferromagnetic state. In the hypothesis of two dimensional AF ordering, the near neighbor exchange constants (J1) and the next near neighbor exchange constants for two different paths (J2 and J'2) were determined. The composition dependence of the magnetic properties including ordering temperature, exchange constants and anisotropy factors are discussed. The drastic reduction of the ordering temperature for x=0.20 for CoxNi1−xTa2O6, suggest the hypothesis of a peculiar magnetic behavior for this composition.  相似文献

The nano-structured Fe(III)-doped TiO2 photocatalysts with anatase phase have been developed for the oxidation of non-biodegradable different organic dyes like methyl orange (MO), rhodamine B (RB), thymol blue (TB) and bromocresol green (BG) using UV-Hg-lamp. The different compositions of FexTi1−xO2 (x = 0.005, 0.01, 0.05, and 0.1) nanocatalysts synthesized by chemical method (CM), have been characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectra, specific surface area (BET), transmission electronic microscopy (TEM) analysis, XPS, ESR and zeta potential. From XRD analysis, the results indicate that all the compositions of Fe(III) doped in TiO2 catalysts gives only anatase phase not rutile phase. For complete degradation of all the solutions of the dyes (MO, RB, TB, and BG), the composition with x = 0.005 is more photoactive compared all other compositions of FexTi1−xO2, and degussa P25. The decolorization rate of different dyes decreases as Fe(III) concentration in TiO2 increases. The energy band gap of Fe(III)-doped TiO2 is found to be 2.38 eV. The oxidation state of iron has been found to be 3+ from XPS and ESR show that Fe3+ is in low spin state.  相似文献

Un-hydrogenated and hydrogenated Cu, Co co-doped ZnO (Zn0.96−xCo0.04CuxO, x=0.03, 0.04 and 0.05) nanopowders have been synthesized by co-precipitation method. The synthesized samples have been characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, energy dispersive X-ray spectra, UV–Visible spectrophotometer and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The calculated average crystalline size increases from 37.3 to 50.6 nm for un-hydrogenated samples from x=0.03 to 0.05 and it changes from 29.4 to 34.9 nm for hydrogenated samples. The change in lattice parameters, micro-strain, a small shift of X-ray diffraction peaks towards lower angles and reduction in energy gap reveal the substitution of Cu2+ ions into Zn–Co–O lattice. The hydrogenation effect reduces the particle size and induces the more uniform distribution of particles than the un-hydrogenated samples which is confirmed by SEM micrographs. Photoluminescence spectra of Zn0.96−xCo0.04CuxO system shows that red shift in near band edge ultraviolet emission from 393 to 403 nm with suppressing intensity and a blue shift in green band emission from 537 to 529 nm with enhancing intensity confirms the substitution of Cu into the Zn–Co–O lattice.  相似文献

(In1−xFex)2O3 (x = 0.02, 0.05, 0.2) powders were prepared by a solid state reaction method and a vacuum annealing process. A systematic study was done on the structural and magnetic properties of (In1−xFex)2O3 powders as a function of Fe concentration and annealing temperature. The X-ray diffraction and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy results confirmed that there were not any Fe or Fe oxide secondary phases in vacuum-annealed (In1−xFex)2O3 samples and the Fe element was incorporated into the indium oxide lattice by substituting the position of indium atoms. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy revealed that both Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions existed in the samples. Magnetic measurements indicated that all samples were ferromagnetic with the magnetic moment of 0.49-1.73 μB/Fe and the Curie temperature around 783 K. The appearance of ferromagnetism was attributed to the ferromagnetic coupling of Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions via an electron trapped in a bridging oxygen vacancy.  相似文献

Sn1−xMnxO2 (x=0.01-0.05) thin films were synthesized on quartz substrate using an inexpensive ultrasonic spray pyrolysis technique. The influence of doping concentration and substrate temperature on structural and magnetic properties of Sn1−xMnxO2 thin films was systematically investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies of these films reflect that the Mn3+ ions have substituted Sn4+ ions without changing the tetragonal rutile structure of pure SnO2. A linear increase in c-axis lattice constant has been observed with corresponding increase in Mn concentration. No impurity phase was detected in XRD patterns even after doping 5 at% of Mn. A systematic change in magnetic behavior from ferromagnetic to paramagnetic was observed with increase in substrate temperature from 500 to 700 °C for Sn1−xMnxO2 (x=0.01) films. Magnetic studies reveal room-temperature ferromagnetism (RTFM) with 3.61×10−4 emu saturation magnetization and 92 Oe coercivity in case of Sn1−xMnxO2 (x=0.01) films deposited at 500 °C. However, paramagnetic behavior was observed for the films deposited at a higher substrate temperature of 700 °C. The presence of room-temperature ferromagnetism in these films was observed to have an intrinsic origin and could be obtained by controlling the substrate temperature and Mn doping concentration.  相似文献

Zn1−xCuxO thin films (x=0, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0%) are prepared on quartz substrate by sol–gel method. The structure and morphology of the samples are investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The results show that Cu ions were effectively penetrated into the ZnO crystal lattices with substitutional and interstitial impurities to form stable solid solutions without changing the polycrystalline wurtzite structure. Two peaks at 420 nm (2.95 eV, violet), 485 nm (2.56 eV, blue) have been observed from the photoluminescence (PL) spectra of the samples. It is concluded that the violet peak may correspond to the exciton emission; the blue emission corresponds to the electron transition from the bottom of the conduction band to the acceptor level of zinc vacancy. The optical test shows that the optical band gap Eg is decreased with the increase amount of Cu doping in ZnO. The band gap decrease from 3.40 eV to 3.25 eV gradually. It is also found that the transmission rate is increased rapidly with the increase of Cu ions concentration.  相似文献

The Zn1−xMgxO thin films were grown on Al2O3 substrate with various O2 flow rates by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy (P-MBE). The growth conditions were optimized by the characterizations of morphology, structural and optical properties. The Mg content of the Zn1−xMgxO thin film increases monotonously with decreasing the oxygen flux. X-ray diffractometer (XRD) measurements show that all the thin films are preferred (0 0 2) orientated. By transmittance and absorption measurements, it was found that the band gap of the film decreases gradually with increasing oxygen flow rate. The surface morphology dependent on the oxygen flow rate was also studied by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). The surface roughness became significant with increasing oxygen flow rate, and the nanostructures were formed at the larger flow rate. The relationship between the morphology and the oxygen flow rate of Zn1−xMgxO films was discussed.  相似文献

Single-phase M-type hexagonal ferrites Sr1−xLaxFe12O19 (0≤x≤1) were prepared by a ceramic route. The stability limits of the ferrite phases were determined with a combination of various microscopy techniques, electron-probe micro-analysis, powder X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis. SrFe12O19 (x=0) is stable up to 1420 °C, whereas LaFe12O19 (x=1) exists between 1360 and 1400 °C only. The lattice parameters of Sr1−xLaxFe12O19 exhibit a linear variation with x, i.e. a0 slightly increases and c0 decreases with x, leading to a decrease of the unit cell volume with x. The saturation magnetization at T=5 K decreases with increasing La concentration. Room temperature Mössbauer analysis shows that the Fe3+/Fe2+ valence change occurs in the 2a sites for the whole composition range.  相似文献

We report the growth of cubic MgxZn1−xO alloy thin films on quartz by electron beam evaporation. It can be found that all the samples have sharp absorption edges by the absorption measurements. X-ray diffraction measurements indicate the MgxZn1−xO films are cubic phase with preferred orientation along the (1 1 1) direction. Energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS) demonstrates that the Mg concentration in MgxZn1−xO films is much higher than the ceramic target used, and the composition can be tuned in a small scope by varying the substrate temperature and the beam electric current. The reasons of this phenomenon are also discussed.  相似文献

Bismuth layer-structured (Bi7−xSrx)(Fe3−xTi3+x)O21 (BSFT) ceramics were synthesized and the ferroelectric properties and crystal structure were investigated. X-ray powder diffraction profiles and refinement of the lattice parameters indicated single phase BSFT was obtained in the composition range 0-1.5. The lattice parameter b of BSFT remained almost constant, while a slight decrease in the lattice parameter a was observed by the Sr and Ti substitution for Bi and Fe, respectively, which indicated an increase in the orthorhombicity. The dependence of the BSFT lattice parameter on temperature implied a phase transition from the orthorhombic to the tetragonal phase, which was in good agreement with the Curie temperature. The remnant polarization Pr, of BSFT was significantly improved by the Sr and Ti substitution for Bi and Fe, and ranged from 9 to 16 μC/cm2, although no remarkable variation in the coercive field Ec was observed. As a result, a well-saturated P-E hysteresis loop of BSFT ceramic was obtained at x=0.5 with a Pr of 30 μC/cm at an applied voltage of 280 kV/cm.  相似文献

We report the effects of Al doping on the structure, magnetic properties, and magnetocaloric effect of antiperovskite compounds Ga1−xAlxCMn3 (0≤x≤0.15). Partial substitutions of Al for Ga enhance the Curie temperature (from 250 K for x=0.0 to 312 K for x=0.15) and the saturation magnetization. On increasing the doping level x, the maximum values of the magnetic entropy change (−ΔSM) decreases while the temperature span of ΔSM vs. T plot broadens. Furthermore, the relative cooling power (RCP) is also studied. For 20 kOe, the RCP value tends to saturate at a high doping level (for x=0.12, 119 J/kg at 296 K). However, at 45 kOe, the RCP value increases quickly with increasing x (for x=0.15, 293 J/kg at 312 K). Considering the relatively large RCP and inexpensive raw materials, Ga1−xAlxCMn3 may be alternative candidates for room-temperature magnetic refrigeration.  相似文献

The magnetization and electrical resistivity of Mn3−xFexSnC (0.5≤x≤1.3) were measured to investigate the behavior of the complicated magnetic phase transitions and electronic transport properties from 5 to 300 K. The results obtained demonstrate that Fe doping at the Mn sites of Mn3SnC induces a more complicated magnetic phase transition than that in its parent phase Mn3SnC from a paramagnetic (PM) state to a ferrimagnetic (FI) state consisting of antiferromagnetic (AFM) and ferromagnetic (FM) components, while, with the change of Fe-doped content and magnetic field, there is a competition between the AFM component and FM component in the FI state. Both the Curie temperature (TC) and the saturated magnetization Ms increase with increasing x. The FM component region becomes broader with further increasing Fe-doped content x. The external magnetic field easily creates a saturated FM state (and increased TC) when . Fe doping quenches the negative thermal expansion (NTE) behavior from 200 to 250 K reported in Mn3SnC.  相似文献
