Exceptional functions and normal families of meromorphic functions with multiple zeros

Let k be a positive integer with k?2; let h(?0) be a holomorphic function which has no simple zeros in D; and let F be a family of meromorphic functions defined in D, all of whose poles are multiple, and all of whose zeros have multiplicity at least k+1. If, for each function f∈F, f(k)(z)≠h(z), then F is normal in D.

On some results of Lahiri

Using the idea of weighted sharing of values, we study the problem of uniqueness of meromorphic functions that share three values. The results in this paper improve all theorems given by Lahiri in Nagoya Math. J. 161 (2001) 193-206. Examples are provided to show that some results in this paper are sharp.     

Functions Holomorphic along Holomorphic Vector Fields

The main result of the paper is the following generalization of Forelli’s theorem (Math. Scand. 41:358–364, 1977): Suppose F is a holomorphic vector field with singular point at p, such that F is linearizable at p and the matrix is diagonalizable with eigenvalues whose ratios are positive reals. Then any function φ that has an asymptotic Taylor expansion at p and is holomorphic along the complex integral curves of F is holomorphic in a neighborhood of p. We also present an example to show that the requirement for ratios of the eigenvalues to be positive reals is necessary. Analytic properties for holomorphic matrix-valued maps in ℂ<Superscript>2×2</Superscript>

In this paper, we investigate some analytic properties for a class of holomorphic matrixvalued functions. In particular, we give a Picard type theorem which depicts the characterization of Picard omitting value in these functions. We also study the relation between asymptotic values and Picard omitting values, and the relation between periodic orbits of the canonical extension on C^2×2 and Julia set of one dimensional complex dynamic system.
