Let k be an algebraically closed field of characteristic p and let G \hookrightarrow Autk(k[[ t ]] ){G \hookrightarrow {\rm Aut}_k(k\left[\kern-0.15em\left[ t \right]\kern-0.15em\right] )} be a faithful action on a local power series ring over k. Let R be a discrete valuation ring of characteristic 0 with residue field k. One asks, whether it is possible to find a faithful action G \hookrightarrow AutR(R[[ t ]] ){G \hookrightarrow {\rm Aut}_R(R\left[\kern-0.15em\left[ t \right]\kern-0.15em\right] )} which reduces to the given action, i.e., a lift to characteristic 0. We show that liftable actions exists in the case that G  =  D 4 and p  =  2. In fact we introduce a family, the supersimple D 4-actions, which can always be lifted to characteristic 0.  相似文献

Let k be an algebraically closed field, and let Λ be an algebra of dihedral type of polynomial growth as classified by Erdmann and Skowroński. We describe all finitely generated Λ-modules V whose stable endomorphism rings are isomorphic to k and determine their universal deformation rings R(Λ, V). We prove that only three isomorphism types occur for R(Λ, V): k, k[[t]]/(t 2) and k[[t]].  相似文献

The homology of GL n (R) and SL n (R) is studied, where R is a commutative ‘ring with many units’. Our main theorem states that the natural map H 4(GL3(R), k) → H 4(GL4(R), k) is injective, where k is a field with char(k) ≠ 2, 3. For an algebraically closed field F, we prove a better result, namely, is injective. We will prove a similar result replacing GL by SL. This is used to investigate the indecomposable part of the K-group K 4(R).  相似文献

Let k be an algebraically closed field of characteristic 2,and let W be the ring of infinite Witt vectors over k. Supposethat D is a dihedral 2-group. We prove that the universal deformationring R(D, V) of an endo-trivial kD-module V is always isomorphicto W [/2x/2]. As a consequence, we obtain a similar result formodules V with stable endomorphism ring k belonging to an arbitrarynilpotent block with defect group D. This confirms, for suchV, conjectures on the ring structure of the universal deformationring of V that had previously been shown for V belonging tocyclic blocks or to blocks with Klein four defect groups.  相似文献

 Let ℋ be the Hecke algebra associated with a Coxeter group W. Many interesting ℋ-modules can be described using the concept of a W-graph, as introduced in the influential paper [4] of Kazhdan and Lusztig. In particular, Kazhdan and Lusztig showed that the regular representation of ℋ has an associated W-graph. The purpose of this note is to show that if W J is a parabolic subgroup of W and V is a module for the corresponding Hecke algebra ℋ J , then a W J -graph structure for V gives rise to a W-graph structure for the induced module ℋ⊗ ℋJ V. In the case that W J is the identity subgroup and V has dimension 1, our construction coincides with that given by Kazhdan and Lusztig for the regular representation. For arbitrary J and V of dimension 1 we recover the constructions of Couillens [1] and Deodhar [3]. For any monoid M, any universal variety contains arbitrarily large algebras whose endomorphism monoid is isomorphic to M. A variety universal modulo a group G contains arbitrarily large algebras whose endomorphism monoid is isomorphic to the direct product M x G. One of the results of this paper structurally characterizes all finitely generated varieties of distributive double p-algebras universal modulo a group, and shows that any unavoidable direct factor G is a Boolean group with at most eight elements.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate a certain linear combination K([(x)\vec])=K(a;b,c,d;e,f,g)K(\vec{x})=K(a;b,c,d;e,f,g) of two Saalschutzian hypergeometric series of type 4 F 3(1). We first show that K([(x)\vec])K(\vec{x}) is invariant under the action of a certain matrix group G K , isomorphic to the symmetric group S 6, acting on the affine hyperplane V={(a,b,c,d,e,f,g)∈ℂ7:e+f+gabcd=1}. We further develop an algebra of three-term relations for K(a;b,c,d;e,f,g). We show that, for any three elements μ 1,μ 2,μ 3 of a certain matrix group M K , isomorphic to the Coxeter group W(D 6) (of order 23040) and containing the above group G K , there is a relation among K(m1[(x)\vec])K(\mu_{1}\vec{x}), K(m2[(x)\vec])K(\mu_{2}\vec{x}), and K(m3[(x)\vec])K(\mu_{3}\vec{x}), provided that no two of the μ j ’s are in the same right coset of G K in M K . The coefficients in these three-term relations are seen to be rational combinations of gamma and sine functions in a,b,c,d,e,f,g.  相似文献

Given a homological ring epimorphism from a ring R to another ring S, we show that if the left R-module S has a finite-type resolution, then the algebraic K-group K n (R) of R splits as the direct sum of the algebraic K-group K n (S) of S and the algebraic K-group K n (R) of a Waldhausen category R determined by the ring epimorphism. This result is then applied to endomorphism rings, matrix subrings, rings with idempotent ideals, and universal localizations which appear often in representation theory and algebraic topology.  相似文献

Abstract

Let R be a commutative Noetherian local Gorenstein ring with residue field k. We show that G(k), the Gorenstein injective envelope of k, is an artinian R-module, and we compute G(k) in the case where R = k[[S]] is a semigroup ring and S is symmetric. We also show that a certain subring of the endomorphism ring of G(k) is a complete local (but possibly non-commutative) ring.  相似文献

Let μ be a measurewith a k-concave density W on an open convex set V in Rm, that is, W is an integrable weight satisfying the condition

for all xV, yV, and α ∈ [0, 1]. In this paper, we first show that the Fradelizi μ-distributional inequalities for polynomials P of m variables are sharp for each m and k ∈ (?1/m,∞]. Classes of extremal sets V, weights W, and polynomials P for these inequalities are presented. Sharpness of the Bobkov-Nazarov-Fradelizi dilation-type inequalities is established as well. Second, we find efficient conditions for k-concavity of a weight W and obtain new sharp polynomial inequalities.

Let {ie166-01} be a set of finite groups. A group G is said to be saturated by the groups in {ie166-02} if every finite subgroup of G is contained in a subgroup isomorphic to a member of {ie166-03}. For an Azumaya algebra A with center C of rank n 2 and a unitary involution τ, we study the stability of the unitary SK1 under reduction. We show that if R = C τ is a Henselian ring with maximal ideal \mathfrakm{\mathfrak{m}} and 2 and n are invertible in R then SK1(A, t) @ SK1(A/ \mathfrakm A, overline t){{{\rm SK}_1}(A, \tau) \cong {{\rm SK}_1}(A/ \mathfrak{m} A, overline \tau)}.  相似文献

Let X be a smooth contractible three-dimensional affine algebraic variety with a free algebraic C+-action on it such that S=X//C+ is smooth. We prove that X is isomorphic to S×C and the action is induced by a translation on the second factor. As a consequence we show that any free algebraic C+-action on C3 is a translation in a suitable coordinate system.  相似文献

Let F be a local non-Archimedean field with ring of integers o and uniformizer ?, and fix an algebraically closed extension k of the residue field of o. Let X be a one-dimensional formal o-module of F-height n over k. By the work of Drinfeld, the universal deformation X of X is a formal group over a power series ring R0 in n−1 variables over Wo(k). For h∈{0,…,n−1} let Uh⊂Spec(R0) be the locus where the connected part of the associated ?-divisible module X[?] has height h. Using the theory of Drinfeld level structures we show that the representation of π1(Uh) on the Tate module of the étale quotient is surjective.  相似文献
