研究了Sobolev圆盘代数R(D)上乘自变量算子M_z的不变子空间,给出了M_z在任何不变子空间上限制的基本性质,证明了M_z分别限制在两个不变子空间上酉等价当且仅当这两个不变子空间相等,并描述了M_z的一类公共零点在边界的不变子空间的结构.  相似文献

In this article, we study the convergence analysis for the initial and boundary value problem of parabolic equations on a disk with singular solutions. It is assumed that the exact solution performs singular properties that its derivatives go to infinity at the boundary of the disk. We propose a fully implicit time-stepping numerical scheme. A stretching polynomial-like function with a parameter is used to construct a local grid refinement. Over the nonuniform partition, we combine the Swartztrauber-Sweet scheme and the backward Euler method in spatial and temporal discretization, respectively. We carry out convergence analysis and analyze the effects of the parameter. It is shown that our numerical scheme is of first order accuracy for temporal discretization and of almost second order accuracy for spatial discretization. Numerical experiments are performed to illustrate our analysis results and show that there exists an optimal value for the parameter to obtain a best approximate solution.  相似文献

This paper gives a survey of the spectral properties of the frequencies of small oscillations, both in and perpendicular to their plane, of cold thin disk galactic models. The spectra can have discrete and continuous parts, with two quite distinct types of continua arising. One type occurs with both kinds of oscillation when the density at the outer edge of the disk becomes sufficiently rarified. It is associated with rapid fluctuations in the outer region. The other type of continuum occurs for non-axisymmetric oscillations in the plane of non-uniformly rotating disks. Some significant discrete oscillations of fundamental type are found that exist in addition to the various continua.  相似文献

We consider Lagrange interpolation polynomials for functions in the disk algebra with nodes on the boundary of the unit disk. In case that the closure of the set of nodes does not cover the boundary of the unit disk we prove that there exists a residual set of functions in the disk algebra, such that the Lagrange interpolation polynomials of each of these functions form a dense subset of the space of all holomorphic functions defined on the unit disk.  相似文献

The classical Schwarz inequality on the boundary of the disk for the functions regular in the disk is refined in various directions. Inequalities involving zeros of the function, an inequality for points mapped to symmetric points on the circle, and an inverse estimate for univalent functions are presented. Given two arbitrary functions f (0), f (1) on the boundary of the unit disk D in \({\mathbb R}^2\), it is shown that there exists a second order uniformly elliptic operator L and a function v in L p , with L p second derivatives (1?p?Lv?=?0 a.e. in D and with v?=?f (0) and \(\frac{ \partial v}{\partial n} = f^{(1)}\) on \(\partial{D}\). Using a computational procedure that imitates tightening of an assembly of billiard balls, we have generated a number of packings of n equal and non-equal disks in regions of various shapes. Our experiments are of three major types. In the first type, the values of n are in thousands, the initial disk configuration is random and a priori one expects the generated packings to be random. In fact, the packings turn out to display non-random geometric patterns and regular features, including polycrystalline textures with "rattlers" typically trapped along the grain boundaries. An experiment of the second type begins with a known or conjectured optimal disk packing configuration, which is then "frustrated" by a small perturbation such as variation of the boundary shape or a relative increase of the size of a selected disk with respect to the sizes of the other disks. We present such frustrated packings for both large n (~ 10, 000) and small n (~ 50 to 200). Motivated by applications in material science and physics, the first and second type of experiments are performed for boundary shapes rarely discussed in the literature on dense packings: torus, a strip cut from a cylinder, a regular hexagon with periodic boundaries. Experiments of the third type involve the shapes popular among mathematicians: circles, squares, and equilateral triangles the boundaries of which are hard reflecting walls. The values of n in these experiments vary from several tens to few hundreds. Here the obtained configurations could be considered as candidates for the densest packings, rather than random ones. Some of these conjecturally optimal packings look regular and the regularity often extends across different values of n. Specifically, as n takes on an increasing sequence of values, n = n(1), n(2), ...n(k), ..., the packings follow a well-defined pattern. This phenomenon is especially striking for packings in equilateral triangles, where (as far as we can tell from our finite computational experiments), not only are there an infinite number of different patterns, each with its own different sequence n(1), n(2), ...n(k), ..., but many of these sequences seem to continue indefinitely. For other shapes, notably squares and circles, the patterns either cease to be optimal or even cease to exist (as packings of non-overlapping disks) above some threshold value n(k0) (depending on the pattern). Noise from a vehicle is always a concern for any automotive industry looking for passenger comfort. This also holds for the different types of brake noise, in particular for squeal, which is a source of discomfort both to passengers and passers‐by. Intensive research on low frequency squeal (noise between 1‐5 kHz) has been carried out. A model of the floating caliper disk brake has been recently proposed by the authors with the aim to predict the onset of squeal. A flutter type instability resulting from nonconservative restoring forces is assumed to be the reason behind squeal in this model. The problem of validating the model against experimental observation lies in the fact that all the system parameters included in the model, especially the disk, are to be carefully chosen. In this work some parameters of the disk are estimated and a method is suggested to estimate these parameters in a systematic way.
