Coherent structures and the bursting phenomena in the wall region of a turbulent boundary layer play a very important role in determining the characteristics of the boundary layer. Yet the nature and the origin of the coherent structures are unclear until now. In this paper, nonlinear stability calculations for the wall region of a turbulent boundary layer have been made. It was found that there do exist instability waves which may be responsible for the coherent structures. The project is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.  相似文献

根据流动稳定性理论,提出了一种三维波模型来描述湍流边界层外区大尺度相干结构。计算所得流线图和等涡量线图较罗纪生,周恒(1993)的二维波模型更符合实验结果。说明该三维模型能够较好地反映湍流边界层外区大尺度相干结构的物理特征。  相似文献

In this paper, the differences of turbulent coherent structure between the smooth and rough boundary layers are analysed. Based on the discussing the transient properties from the smooth wall to the rough wall, the physical model of coherent structure for the rough boundary layer are established. Coherent motions in the turbulent boundary layer and their relation to the large-scale structures in the intermittent region are investigated experimentally. Using conditional sampling technique, we have shown that a coherent motion is a pair of counter-rotating fluid motions. These coherent motions of various sizes take place in the turbulent boundary layer. Most of them are short and are found only near the wall, but some are tall enough to reach the outer edge of the boundary layer. The turbulent bulges of the intermittent region are formed by these tall coherent motions.  相似文献

In the region of transition from a two-dimensional laminar boundary layer to a turbulent one, three-dimensional flow occurs [1–3]. It has been proposed that this flow is formed as the result of nonlinear interaction of two-dimensional and three-dimensional disturbances predicted by linear hydrodynamic stability theory. Using many simplifications, [4, 5] performed a calculation of this interaction for a free boundary layer and a boundary layer on a wall with a very coarse approximation of the velocity profile. The results showed some argreement with experiment. On the other hand, it is known that disturbances of the Tollmin—Schlichting wave type can be observed at sufficiently high amplitude. This present study will use the method of successive linearization to calculate the primary two- and three-dimensional disturbances, and also the average secondary flow occurring because of nonlinear interaction of the primary disturbances. The method of calculation used is close to that of [4, 5], the disturbance parameters being calculated on the basis of a Blazius velocity profile. A detailed comparison of results with experimental data [1] is made. It developed that at large disturbance amplitude the amplitude growth rate differs from that of linear theory, while the spatial distribution of disturbances agree s well with the distribution given by the natural functions and their nonlinear interaction. In calculating the secondary flow an experimental correction was made to the amplitude growth rate.  相似文献

采用热线风速仪测量受吹吸扰动的壁湍流边界层的流向速度,用傅里叶变换和子波变换研究 吹吸扰动对壁湍流能谱的影响,结果显示施加的低频扰动使边界层内层大尺度结构的能量减 少,小尺度结构的能量有所增强,远离壁面时扰动强度逐步衰减直到在外层中消失;通过VITA 法和子波变换法检测猝发事件,表明该扰动降低了猝发强度,使猝发周期延长,条件平均速 度波形的幅值降低、持续时间变短,说明扰动明显抑制了相干结构的猝发过程. 利用子波变 换可以实现湍谱分析,能有效检测猝发中的湍流结构,是一种客观的分析工具.  相似文献

本文以镶嵌在平板上沿展向对放的两个压电陶瓷振子为主动控制激励器,自主设计了零质量射流主动控制湍流边界层减阻实验方案.在风洞中开展了双压电振子同步和异步振动主动控制湍流边界层减阻的实验研究,实现了压电振子的周期扰动对湍流边界层多尺度相干结构的干扰和调制,施加控制后减小了壁面摩擦阻力,获得减阻效果.当异步控制100 V, 160 Hz工况时得到最大减阻率为18.54%.小波多尺度分析结果表明,施加控制工况中PZT振子的周期性扰动使得小尺度结构的湍流脉动强度增强,改变了近壁区大尺度和小尺度结构的含能分布,且异步控制工况比同步控制工况的减阻效果好.当双振子振动频率为160 Hz时,流向脉动速度的小波系数PDF曲线呈现出波动特征,尾部变宽显著,近壁湍流脉动更加有序和规则,湍流间歇性减弱.对小尺度脉动进行条件相位平均的结果表明,施加PZT周期扰动后使得大尺度结构破碎成为小尺度结构,小尺度脉动强度增强,实现减阻.随着流向位置离PZT振子越来越远,周期性扰动对相干结构的调制作用逐渐减弱.  相似文献

柔性壁面湍流边界层相干结构控制的实验研究   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
本文利用热膜测速技术对刚性壁面和柔性壁面湍流边界层的流向速度分量进行了实验测量,首先研究了柔性壁面对平均速度分布和湍流度分布的影响,结果表明:柔性壁面的边界层速度分布在对数律层向上有所平移,缓冲层加厚,具有一般的壁面减阻特征;而柔性壁的湍流度比刚性壁的湍流度要低,分布也更为平坦。然后综合运用自相关法和条件采样技术研究了湍流近壁区的相干结构,结果表明:刚性壁自相关曲线的第二峰值出现的时间比柔性壁的短,柔性壁的猝发频率比刚性壁的低许多。实验结果表明柔性壁面具有一定的减阻作用。  相似文献

The majority of the studies which consider the flow of a dissociating gas in a turbulent boundary layer are devoted to the investigation of either frozen or equilibrium flows on a flat plate.The frozen turbulent boundary layer has been studied by Dorrance [1], Kutateladze and Leont'ev [2], and Lapin and Sergeev [3]. A study of the effect of catalytic recombination processes at the plate surface on the heat transfer in a frozen turbulent boundary layer was made by Lapin [4].Kosterin and Koshmarov [5], Ginzburg [6], Dorrance [7], and Lapin [8] have studied the turbulent boundary layer on a plate in equilibrium dissociating gas.The calculation of the heat transfer in a turbulent boundary layer on a catalytic plate surface with nonequilibrium dissociation was made by Kulgein [9]. In this study the nonequilibrium nature of the dissociation process was taken into account only in the laminar sublayer, while the flow in the turbulent core was considered frozen. The solution was found numerically using a computer by means of a laborious iteration process.The present paper reports a method for calculating the turbulent boundary layer on a flat catalytic plate with arbitrary dissociation rate. The method, constructed using the assumptions customary for turbulent boundary layer theory, is a successive approximation method. Good convergence of the method is assured by the fact that the effect of the nonequilibrium nature of the dissociation process on the parameter distribution in the boundary layer and, consequently, on the friction and heat transfer may be allowed for merely by finding corrections, usually relatively small, to the distribution of these parameters in the equilibrium or frozen flows. The basis of the study is the two-layer scheme of the turbulent boundary layer. The Prandtl and Schmidt numbers and also their turbulent analogs are taken equal to unity. As the model of the dissociating gas we use the Lighthill model of the ideal dissociating gas [10], extended by Freeman [11] to nonequilibrium flows.  相似文献

20世纪60年代后, 先后从流动显示发现了快慢斑、猝发、上升流、下扫流和多种涡结构等湍流边界层的拟序结构. 它们对湍流边界层的摩阻、传热传质和湍动能的产生等特性有重要影响. 涡结构是上述拟序结构的核心, 它影响其它拟序结构的发展和演变. 发卡涡通常被认为是基本涡结构. 发卡涡等涡结构的再生, 是湍流边界层拟序结构能够自持续的必要的因素.壁面低速流上升产生猝发, 是湍流边界层湍能的主要来源; 条件采样是测量猝发频率和其它拟序结构出现频率的重要手段. 流动显示对湍流边界层拟序结构作了大量定性观察, 有许多减阻和增加传热率等应用性研究在此基础上发展起来. 80年代后, 出现了测量湍流边界层的瞬时流速矢量场的多热线法和PIV技术, 三维PIV技术可望将来为湍流边界层的实验研究带来重大进展. 本文评述了流动显示法、多热线法和PIV技术的优点和不足之处, 以及它们在对湍流边界层拟序结构的研究中的贡献.   相似文献

在用于激光束传输和控制模拟实验的湍流池中温度脉动测量结果表明,原始温度变化曲线上有明显的斜坡(ramp)结构,温度三阶及五阶结构函数和理论预计一致和大气对流边界层的测量相似,斜坡结构的出现对二阶结构函数的影响较小,加热面和冷却附近有明显的猝发现象出现,温度脉动的峰度系数大于3,表现了较大的间歇性。  相似文献

在开口式循环水槽底部湍流边界层外区引入周期性扰动。利用X型热膜探针在扰动下游进行测量。用实验的方法研究了周期性大尺度结构下壁湍流涡黏模式中涡黏系数的形式,结果发现和周期性扰动对应的变形率及与之对应的雷诺应力间存在着相位差。这是目前许多最终导致涡黏系数的湍流模式理论都没有考虑到的一个重要因素。  相似文献

本文研究了沿斜面流动薄层液体的非线性稳定性,即涂布流动的非线性稳定性问题。我们将周恒对平面Poiseuille流提出的弱非线性理论应用于涂布流动。文中对自由表面的世界条件提出了一个合理的简化方法,对亚临界时不同Reynolds数及扰动频率,求出了有限扰动的阈值。  相似文献
