Let X be a smooth projective curve of genus g ≥ 2 over the complex numbers. A holomorphic triple on X consists of two holomorphic vector bundles E 1 and E 2 over X and a holomorphic map . There is a concept of stability for triples which depends on a real parameter σ. In this paper, we determine the Hodge polynomials of the moduli spaces of σ-stable triples with rk(E 1) = 3, rk(E 2) = 1, using the theory of mixed Hodge structures. This gives in particular the Poincaré polynomials of these moduli spaces. As a byproduct, we recover the Hodge polynomial of the moduli space of odd degree rank 3 stable vector bundles.   相似文献

We construct a holomorphic Hermitian line bundle over the moduli space of stable triples of the form (E1, E2,?), where E1 and E2 are holomorphic vector bundles over a fixed compact Riemann surfaceX, and?: E2 E1 is a holomorphic vector bundle homomorphism. The curvature of the Chern connection of this holomorphic Hermitian line bundle is computed. The curvature is shown to coincide with a constant scalar multiple of the natural Kähler form on the moduli space. The construction is based on a result of Quillen on the determinant line bundle over the space of Dolbeault operators on a fixed C Hermitian vector bundle over a compact Riemann surface.  相似文献

Each finite dimensional irreducible rational representation V of the symplectic group Sp2g(Q) determines a generically defined local system V over the moduli space Mg of genus g smooth projective curves. We study H2 (Mg; V) and the mixed Hodge structure on it. Specifically, we prove that if g 6, then the natural map IH2(M~g; V) H2(Mg; V) is an isomorphism where M~_g is tfhe Satake compactification of Mg. Using the work of Saito we conclude that the mixed Hodge structure on H2(Mg; V) is pure of weight 2+r if V underlies a variation of Hodge structure of weight r. We also obtain estimates on the weight of the mixed Hodge structure on H2(Mg; V) for 3 g < 6. Results of this article can be applied in the study of relations in the Torelli group Tg.  相似文献

The moduli space of weighted pointed stable curves of genus zero is stratified according to the degeneration types of such curves. We show that the homology groups of are generated by the strata of and give all additive relations between them. We also observe that the Chow groups and the homology groups are isomorphic. It is well known that for functions , 1p∞. For general functions fLp, it does not hold for 0<p<1, and its inverse is not true for any p in general. It has been shown in the literature, however, that for certain classes of functions the inverse is true, and the terms in the inequalities are all equivalent. Recently, Zhou and Zhou proved the equivalence for polynomials with p=∞. Using a technique by Ditzian, Hristov and Ivanov, we give a simpler proof to their result and extend it to the Lp space for 0<p∞. We then show its analogues for the Ditzian–Totik modulus of smoothness and the weighted Ditzian–Totik modulus of smoothness for polynomials with .  相似文献

We construct a space of fine moduli for the substructures of an arbitrary compact complex space . A substructure of is given by a subalgebra of the structure sheaf with the additional feature that is also a complex space; and are called equivalent if and only if and are isomorphic as subalgebras of .

Since substructures are quotients, it is only natural to start with the fine moduli space of all complex-analytic quotients of . In order to obtain a representable moduli functor of substructures, we are forced to concentrate on families of quotients which satisfy some flatness condition for relative differential modules of higher order. Considering the corresponding flatification of , we realize that its open subset consisting of all substructures turns out to be a complex space which has the required universal property.

In this paper, we define the virtual moduli cycle of moduli spaces with perfect tangent-obstruction theory. The two interesting moduli spaces of this type are moduli spaces of vector bundles over surfaces and moduli spaces of stable morphisms from curves to projective varieties. As an application, we define the Gromov-Witten invariants of smooth projective varieties and prove all its basic properties.

We give an algebro-geometric derivation of the known intersection theory on the moduli space of stable rank 2 bundles of odd degree over a smooth curve of genus g. We study the algebro-geometric aspects of Teichmüller curves parameterizing square-tiled surfaces with two applications.(a) There exist infinitely many rigid curves on the moduli space of hyperelliptic curves. They span the same extremal ray of the cone of moving curves. Their union is a Zariski dense subset. Hence they yield infinitely many rigid curves with the same properties on the moduli space of stable n-pointed rational curves for even n.(b) The limit of slopes of Teichmüller curves and the sum of Lyapunov exponents for the Teichmüller geodesic flow determine each other, which yields information about the cone of effective divisors on the moduli space of curves.  相似文献

This article is concerned with the study of gauge theory, stability and moduli for twisted quiver bundles in algebraic geometry. We review natural vortex equations for twisted quiver bundles and their link with a stability condition. Then we provide a brief overview of their relevance to other geometric problems and explain how quiver bundles can be viewed as sheaves of modules over a sheaf of associative algebras and why this view point is useful, e.g., in their deformation theory. Next we explain the main steps of an algebro-geometric construction of their moduli spaces. Finally, we focus on the special case of holomorphic chains over Riemann surfaces, providing some basic links with quiver representation theory. Combined with the analysis of the homological algebra of quiver sheaves and modules, these links provide a criterion for smoothness of the moduli spaces and tools to study their variation with respect to stability.   相似文献
