We study Auslander correspondence from the viewpoint of higher-dimensional analogue of Auslander-Reiten theory [O. Iyama, Higher dimensional Auslander-Reiten theory on maximal orthogonal subcategories, Adv. Math. 210 (1) (2007) 22-50 (this issue)] on maximal orthogonal subcategories. We give homological characterizations of higher dimensional analogue of Auslander algebras in terms of global dimension, Auslander-type conditions and so on. Especially we give an answer to a question of M. Artin [M. Artin, Maximal orders of global dimension and Krull dimension two, Invent. Math. 84 (1) (1986) 195-222]. They are also closely related to Auslander's representation dimension of Artin algebras [M. Auslander, Representation dimension of Artin algebras, in: Lecture Notes, Queen Mary College, London, 1971] and Van den Bergh's non-commutative crepant resolutions of Gorenstein singularities [M. Van den Bergh, Non-commutative crepant resolutions, in: The Legacy of Niels Henrik Abel, Springer, Berlin, 2004, pp. 749-770].  相似文献

We consider a real reductive dual pair (G′, G) of type I, with rank ${({\rm G}^{\prime}) \leq {\rm rank(G)}}$ . Given a nilpotent coadjoint orbit ${\mathcal{O}^{\prime} \subseteq \mathfrak{g}^{{\prime}{*}}}$ , let ${\mathcal{O}^{\prime}_\mathbb{C} \subseteq \mathfrak{g}^{{\prime}{*}}_\mathbb{C}}$ denote the complex orbit containing ${\mathcal{O}^{\prime}}$ . Under some condition on the partition λ′ parametrizing ${\mathcal{O}^{\prime}}$ , we prove that, if λ is the partition obtained from λ by adding a column on the very left, and ${\mathcal{O}}$ is the nilpotent coadjoint orbit parametrized by λ, then ${\mathcal{O}_\mathbb{C}= \tau (\tau^{\prime -1}(\mathcal{O}_\mathbb{C}^{\prime}))}$ , where ${\tau, \tau^{\prime}}$ are the moment maps. Moreover, if ${chc(\hat\mu_{\mathcal{O}^{\prime}}) \neq 0}$ , where chc is the infinitesimal version of the Cauchy-Harish-Chandra integral, then the Weyl group representation attached by Wallach to ${\mu_{\mathcal{O}^{\prime}}}$ with corresponds to ${\mathcal{O}_\mathbb{C}}$ via the Springer correspondence.  相似文献

The Robinson-Schensted-Knuth correspondence RSK associates with any permutation a pair of paths in a Young graph. The duality theorem for finite partially ordered sets associates with each such set a Young diagram. The first part of the present work introduces a new notion of ring of quotients by any filter of one sided ideals. The construction is a generalization of the one by Gabriel which works for idempotent filters. The second part is devoted to an extension of crossed action of Hopf algebras to such a ring of quotients. Multiple taxicab correspondence analysis   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
We compare the statistical analysis of multidimensional contingency tables by multiple correspondence analysis (MCA) and multiple taxicab correspondence analysis (MTCA). We will show in this paper: First, MTCA and MCA can produce different results. Second, taxicab correspondence analysis of a Burt table is equivalent to centroid correspondence analysis of the indicator matrix. Third, along the first principal axis, the projected response patterns in MTCA will be clustered and the number of cluster points is less than or equal to 1+ the number of variables. Fourth, visual maps produced by MTCA seem to be clearer and more readable in the presence of rarely occurring categories of the variables than the graphical displays produced by MCA. Two well known data sets are analyzed.  相似文献

In the article [Spa1], N. Spaltenstein has established a bijection between the irreducible components of χ, the space of full flags fixed by a nilpotent element χ ? M(n, k), where k is an algebraically closed field, and the standard tableaux associated to the Young diagram of χ. In this present work we determine, when χ is of hook type, for each irreducible component X of χ, the unique Schubert cell X of the full flag manifold = (V) (where V is vector space of dimension n over k), such that XX is a dense subspace in X. This result will allow us to optimize the computation of χ and when k = is the complex field, to see that the graph resolution of the partition (2, 1, …, 1) of n is related to the Dynkin diagram of sl(n, ).  相似文献

Let S be a finite solvable group, and suppose S acts on the finite group N, and they have coprime orders. Then, the celebrated Glauberman correspondence provides a natural bijection from the set IrrS(N) of irreducible characters of N which are invariant under the action of S to the set Irr(CN(S)) of all irreducible characters of the centralizer of S in N. Suppose, further, that the semidirect product SN is a normal subgroup of a finite group G. Let θ∈IrrS(N), and let ψ∈Irr(CN(S)) be its Glauberman correspondent. We prove that there is a bijection with good compatibility properties from the set Irr(G,θ) of the irreducible characters of G above θ to Irr(NG(S),ψ) such that, in the case when S is a p-group for some prime p, it preserves fields of values and Schur indices over Qp, the field of p-adic numbers. Using this result, we also prove a strengthening of the McKay Conjecture for all p-solvable groups.  相似文献

The practical aspects of interpreting multiple correspondence analysis are reviewed. The geometric concepts associated with simple correspondence analysis are shown to be inadequate for multiple correspondence analysis. An alternative approach, called joint correspondence analysis, is shown to be a more natural generalization of the simple case. The practical interpretation of homogeneity analysis is also discussed and a compromise is proposed between classical multiple correspondence analysis and joint correspondence analysis, preserving the optimal scaling properties of homogeneity analysis. A simple example is used throughout the discussion to illustrate the issues involved.  相似文献

A bootstrap test is developed for testing models specified by Goodman in 1985 and 1986 for the correspondence analysis of two-way contingency tables. It enables testing goodness-of-fit in relation with the usual matrix decomposition method. An approximate table of critical values for the proposed test statistic is presented. Bootstrap confidence interval construction is also included. The behaviour of the test statistic and the confidence intervals is studied using Monte Carlo simulation.  相似文献
