A novel layer-by-layer approach has been developed to synthesize polycrystalline SnO(2) hollow spheres with tunable shell thickness and size using SiO(2) spheres as a template. The surface of the SiO(2) spheres has been first modified by the polyelectrolyte, and subsequently, the compact SnO(2) layer has deposited on the surface of the SiO(2) spheres through a redox reaction because of the electrostatic attraction between the charged species. After HF etching treatment, the uniform SnO(2) hollow spheres have been obtained. The approach presented herein has been extended to synthesize other metal oxide and sulfide hollow spheres such as In(2)O(3) and ZnS. Moreover, the as-synthesized SnO(2) hollow spheres have been applied in lithium-ion battery and show improved performance compared with SnO(2) nanoparticles. The high surface area and stable hollow structure of the SnO(2) hollow spheres may be responsible for the improved performance.  相似文献

The formation of mesoporous TiO2 spheres via a facile chemical process   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
The mesoporous TiO(2) solid and hollow spheres have been synthesized via a controllable and simple chemical route. Structural characterization indicates that these TiO(2) mesoporous spheres after calcined at 500 degrees C have an obvious mesoporous structure with the diameters of 200-300 nm for solid spheres and 200-500 nm for hollow spheres. The average pore sizes and BET surface areas of the mesoporous TiO(2) solid and hollow spheres are 6.8, 7.0 nm and 162, 90 m(2)/g, respectively. Optical adsorption investigation shows that TiO(2) solid and hollow spheres possess a direct band gap structure with the optical band gap of 3.68 and 3.75 eV, respectively. A possible formation mechanism for TiO(2) solid and hollow spheres is discussed.  相似文献

Silica@carbon core-shell spheres have been synthesized via a hydrothermal carbonization procedure with glucose as the carbon precursor and silica spheres as the cores. Such SiO(2)@C core-shell spheres can be further used as templates to produce SiO(2)@C@SiO(2), and SiO(2)@SiO(2) spheres with a vacant region in two SiO(2) shells, noble-metal nanoparticle loaded SiO(2)@C core-shell spheres, and hollow carbon capsules through different follow-up processes. The obtained core-shell materials possess remarkable chemical reactivity in reducing noble-metal ions to nanoparticles, e.g., platinum. These unique core-shell spherical composites could find applications in catalyst supports, adsorbents, encapsulation, nanoreactors, and reaction templates.  相似文献

Y2O3:Eu3+ hollow spheres were successfully prepared with melamine formaldehyde(MF) spheres as template. The MF spheres played a significant role in directing the formation of the hollow shells which are composed of numerous primary nanoparticles. Furthermore, the shell thickness of these hollow spheres could be readily tailored by adjusting the dosage of MF template. Based on the photoluminescence(PL) investigation, the red emission intensities(613 nm) of these Y2O3:Eu3+ hollow spheres are greatly influenced by their shell thickness and it was found that hollow spheres with thin shell thickness and intact hollow structures permit a better PL performance.  相似文献

Ag midnanoparticles (midnanoparticles are those particles whose diameters are in the range from 20 to 80 nm) with average size of 30-50 nm and tunable packing densities were formed on the surface of preformed Tollens-soaked silica spheres by a simple and controlled method. The process mainly involved two steps. In the first step the absorption of Ag(NH3)2(+) ions occurred on the silica spheres and in the second step Ag(NH3)2(+) ions on the silica spheres were reduced to Ag midnanoparticles in the presence of glucose solution. The amount of Ag midnanoparticles on the silica spheres could easily be tuned by varying the washing times in the process of preparing the Tollens-soaked silica spheres. The washing process also effectively avoided the reduction of Ag(NH3)2(+) ions and the nucleation of Ag particles in solution and easily produced more uniform Ag midnanoparticles on the silica spheres. Attributing to the uniform Ag midnanoparticles, the Ag midnanoparticle-coated silica spheres show unique optical properties in the UV-vis absorption spectra. The resulting Ag midnanoparticle-coated silica spheres were characterized with transmission electron microscopy, UV-vis-IR recording spectrophotometry, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.  相似文献

Thermo-sensitive colloidal crystals are prepared simply by mixing colloidal silica spheres and large thermo-sensitive gel spheres. The thermo-reversible change in the lattice spacing of colloidal crystals of monodisperse silica spheres (CS82, 103 nm in diameter) depends on the size of the admixed temperature-sensitive gel spheres. For spheres with sizes less and greater than that of the silica spheres, the lattice spacing upon temperature increase above the lower critical solution temperature of poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide) decreases (cf. Okubo et al. Langmuir 18:6783, 2002) and increases, respectively. A mechanism, which is able to explain these experimental findings, is proposed. Moreover, crystal growth rates and the rigidities of the thermo-sensitive colloidal crystals are studied.  相似文献

Uniform CdS colloidal spheres have been successfully synthesized via a simple hydrothermal method.X-ray diffraction(XRD) analyses indicate that the products exhibit a hexagonal structure.Scanning electron(SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) are used to characterize CdS colloidal spheres.The final size of the spheres may be selected from a range of 71±2 nm to approximately 181±5 nm by changing the amount of polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) and hexamethylenetetramine(HMT).The CdS colloidal spheres are not obtained in the absence of either of the capping agents.A synergistic effect between HMT and PVP is proposed to be crucial for the formation of colloidal spheres.  相似文献

Colloidal crystallization of deionized suspensions of the cationic gel spheres of lightly cross-linked poly(2-vinylpyridine), AIBA-P2VP (170~180 nm in diameter) has been studied from the microscopic observation, morphology, phase diagram, and elastic property. Critical concentrations of melting that coexisted with ion-exchange resins were low compared with those without resins and decreased as the degree of cross-linking decreased. The density of a gel sphere in suspension state (ρ), i.e., weight percent of the gel spheres divided by the corresponding volume percent, was between 0.5 and 0.8, and decreased as the degree of cross-linking of the spheres decreased. The ρ values also decreased with decreasing size of gel spheres, which supports the small P2VP gel spheres being softer than the large ones. The closest intersphere distances of the crystals were much longer than the hydrodynamic diameters of the gel spheres especially at low sphere concentrations. Fluctuation parameters evaluated from the rigidities of the crystals of AIBA-P2VP (0.05~0.09) were similar to those of gel crystals of cationic gel spheres of lightly cross-linked poly(2-vinylpyridine) spheres coated with poly(ethylene glycol), 400 nm in diameter, and thermo-sensitive gel spheres of pNIPAm, poly(N-isopropylacrylamide), but larger than those of typical colloidal hard spheres. The stable crystal phase formed beyond the adsorbed monolayer of cationic gel spheres on the surface of the substrate. These experimental findings support important role of the extended electrical double layers around the cationic gel spheres in addition to the excluded volume effect of the sphere themselves on the crystallization.  相似文献

以胶质碳球为模板、六亚甲基四胺为沉淀剂,在乙醇中溶剂热反应,再经500℃煅烧6 h制备了NiO空心球。通过X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)、傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)和低温氮吸附-脱附,对NiO的结构和形貌进行了表征。结果表明溶剂热反应时间是制备完整NiO空心球的关键因素,溶剂热反应12 h,再经空气中煅烧,可制得形貌均一的NiO空心球。所得产物是由NiO纳米粒子组装而成的具有多孔结构的空心球。同时,本文对NiO空心球结构的形成过程和可能机理进行了分析和讨论。  相似文献

采用非离子型嵌段高分子表面活性剂EO20PO30EO20 (P65)为结构导向剂, 正硅酸乙酯为硅源, 在酸性介质中, 静置法制备了微米级介孔氧化硅球. 通过改变合成温度、反应时间或者无机盐KCl的加入量, 可以调节介孔氧化硅球的直径(9.0~17.6 μm); 加入1,3,5-三甲苯(TMB)或者调节水热温度, 可以调节介孔氧化硅球的孔径(2.3~4.8 nm). 采用X射线衍射(XRD)、N2吸附-脱附、扫描电镜(SEM)、激光散射粒度分布和对溶菌酶的吸附等方法, 对介孔氧化硅球的结构、孔性质、形貌、吸附性质等进行了表征. 实验发现, 孔径较小的介孔氧化硅球(≤4.3 nm)对溶菌酶的吸附不明显(≤42 mg/g), 而孔径(4.8 nm)大于溶菌酶直径的材料对溶菌酶有较大的吸附量(192 mg/g), 说明孔径均匀可调的介孔氧化硅球材料可以很好地用作体积排阻色谱柱的固定相.  相似文献

报道了水相一步直接合成晶体TiO2空心球的方法. 以水溶性的过氧化钛配合物(peroxo-titanium complex, PTC)为前驱体、聚苯乙烯(polystyrene, PS)球为模板, 在水溶液体系中可直接制备得到锐钛矿型纳米TiO2空心球. 与传统的模板法相比, 模板的包覆、去除及TiO2壳层的晶化等步骤在水相中可一步完成. 利用透射电子显微镜(TEM)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、X射线衍射仪(XRD)及热重分析仪(TGA)对所合成的纳米TiO2空心球进行了表征, 同时推断了可能的反应机理.  相似文献

A simple and cost-effective chemical method was introduced to assemble gold (Au) nanoparticles on smooth silver (Ag) spheres for realizing surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) enhancement by the replacement reaction between chloroauric acid and Ag spheres. In addition, the Ag-Au core-shell spheres were fabricated when a certain amount of chloroauric acid was used in the reaction solution. We found that the Ag particles decorated with small Au nanoparticles demonstrated the strongest SERS enhancement, while Ag-Au core-shell spheres showed the weakest enhancement.  相似文献

Colloidal crystallization and amorphous solidification of deionized suspensions of the polydispersed cationic gel spheres of lightly cross-linked poly(2-vinylpyridine), CAIBA-P2VP (107~113 nm in diameter, ±19~22 nm in dispersity), have been studied from the reflection spectroscopy, morphology, phase diagram, and elastic property. Crystallization takes place even for the polydispersed cationic gel spheres by the significant contribution of the extended electrical double layers formed around the spheres. Critical concentrations of melting coexisted with ion exchange resins were around 0.02 in volume fraction and high compared with those of other cationic and anionic gel crystals examined hitherto. The densities (ρ) of CAIBA-P2VP in suspension state, i.e., weight percent of the gel spheres divided by the corresponding volume percent, was around 0.3. The ρ values decreased sharply with decreasing size of P2VP gel spheres, which supports the small gel spheres containing much water inside and being softer than the large ones. The closest intersphere distances of the crystals and/or amorphous solids were much longer than the hydrodynamic diameters of the gel spheres especially at low sphere concentrations. Fluctuation parameters (b) evaluated from the rigidities of CAIBA-P2VP (0.15~0.28) were large compared with those of gel crystals of large-sized P2VP-based cationic gel spheres, anionic thermosensitive gel spheres of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (0.05~0.09) and further much larger than those of typical colloidal hard spheres (around 0.03). The dispersity in sphere size played an important role for distinguishing crystal and amorphous solid. Importance of the extended electrical double layers around the cationic gel spheres is supported in addition to the excluded volume effect of the sphere themselves on the crystallization and/or solidification.  相似文献

以六氯环三膦腈(HCCP)和4,4′-二羟基二苯砜(BPS)为共缩聚单体,乙腈为溶剂,三乙胺为缚酸剂,在室温条件下,采用沉淀聚合的方法快速合成了一种聚膦腈亚微米球。 红外光谱、元素分析及X射线能谱分析(EDX)测试表明,该聚膦腈亚微米球具有高度交联的化学结构;扫描电子显微镜和透射电子显微镜测试表明,该聚膦腈亚微米球粒径分布在410 nm附近,而且具有光滑的表面和实心的结构;热重分析(TGA)测试表明,该聚膦腈亚微米球的热分解温度达到531 ℃。 并推测了该聚膦腈亚微米球的形成机理。  相似文献

Mondispersed submicrometer GdPO(4):Eu(3+) hollow spheres were synthesized via an effective one-pot hydrothermal process. These hollow spheres have the average diameter of 200 nm, and the shell thickness is about 20 nm. The surface of the spheres consists of a number of nanorods with diameters of about 10 nm and lengths of about 50-80 nm. Both magnetic and luminescent properties of the obtained Eu(3+)-doped GdPO(4) hollow spheres were investigated. The hysteresis plot (M-H) analysis result indicates their paramagnetic property. The fluorescence spectra demonstrate that they emit orange-red color light originated from the (5)D(0) → (7)F(J) transitions of the Eu(3+) ions. Therefore, the obtained GdPO(4) hollow spheres hold promise for encapsulate drugs with controlled release. Moreover, the GdPO(4):Eu(3+) hollow spheres are attributes for bimodal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)/optical bioimaging labeling.  相似文献

Formation of polymeric spheres in nanometer to sub-micrometer is achieved through a spin-coating process with polyamide (from 4,4(')-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)dianiline and 4,4(')-dicarboxydiphenylether) solutions in N,N-dimethylformamide and N,N-dimethylacetamide. The formation of polymeric spheres and their sizes are dependent on the polymer solution concentrations and the rates in spin-coating. The polymeric spheres could be obtained on various substrates including silicon, mica, and glass.  相似文献

This paper reports a phase inversion method for the preparation of macroporous polysulfone (PS) composite spheres through a single orifice spinneret. Surfactant F127 was pre-added in the polymer solution as a surface pore-forming agent, and different amount of zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) particles were incorporated to form the ZIF-8/polysulfone (ZIF-8/PS)-composite spheres. ZIF-8 and polymer acted as the adsorbent and binder in the final composite spheres, respectively. The fabrication conditions, such as the types of the surfactant, the amount of the surfactant, and ZIF-8 added in the polymer solution, were investigated. Nitrogen and carbon dioxide sorption analysis indicated the ZIF-8/PS composite spheres had similar properties as the pure ZIF-8 particles, and the active sites of ZIF-8 in the polymer composites were well exposed. The composite spheres exhibited advantages of easy handling and recycling over ZIF-8 particles, and this phase inversion method can be extended to prepare other polymer composite spheres.  相似文献

Critical concentrations of melting coexisted with ion-exchange resins were low compared with those without resins and increased but slightly as the degree of cross-linking decreased. The densities of the gel spheres, i.e., weight percent of the gel spheres divided by the corresponding volume percent, were between 0.7 and 0.9 and rather insensitive to the degree of cross-linking of the spheres examined from 0.1 to 1 mol%. This means that the gel spheres are rather dense. The closest inter-sphere distances of the crystals were much longer than the hydrodynamic diameters of the gel spheres especially at low sphere concentrations. Fluctuation parameters evaluated from the rigidities of the crystals of PEGMA-P2VP were similar to those of colloidal crystals of typical hard spheres. Mono-layered adsorption of cationic gel spheres at the nearest-neighbored layer from a cover glass of the cell was observed microscopically. The stable ordered layers, however, formed beyond the monolayer in the suspension phase. These experimental findings support the important role of the extended electrical double layers around the cationic gel spheres in addition to the excluded volume effect of the sphere themselves on the crystallization.  相似文献

A general approach to porous crystalline TiO2, SrTiO3, and BaTiO3 spheres   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Monodispersed porous crystalline TiO(2), SrTiO(3), and BaTiO(3) spheres were produced through a one-step hydrothermal process from amorphous TiO(2) spheres. The resulting samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and nitrogen sorption measurements. On the basis of the characterization results, we proposed a formation process of these porous spheres according to a mechanism analogous to the Kirkendall effect. This study provides a general way to synthesize porous titania-based spheres.  相似文献
