A structurally unique symmetric sulfur-containing biscembranoid, namely, thioflexibilolide A (1), was isolated from the soft coral Sinularia flexibilis. The structure was determined by extensive spectroscopic analyses. Compound 1 has been found to possess significant anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective activities.  相似文献

A novel compound, named sinutriangulin A (1), was isolated from the soft coral Sinularia triangula. The compound possesses a new carbon skeleton that is derived from the cubitane skeleton. The structure was determined by extensive spectroscopic analyses. In addition, compound 1 exhibited weak cytotoxicity toward human tumor cell lines CCRF-CEM and DLD-1.  相似文献

Chemical examination of a Chinese soft coral Sinularia rigida resulted in the isolation and characterization of 19 new cembrane-type diterpenoids, designated as sinulariols A-S (1-19). Their structures were determined on the basis of extensive spectroscopic (2D NMR, IR, and MS) analysis in association with modified Mosher’s method. All compounds featured unusual 19-oxygenated functionalities, which are rarely found from cembranoid family. The biogenetic transformation of the isolated compounds is postulated. Part of the isolated cembranoids showed significant anti-fouling activity.  相似文献

Five new cembrane-based diterpenoids, namely pavidolides A-E (1-5) were isolated from the marine soft coral Sinularia pavida, together with sarcophytin and chatancin. The structures of new compounds were determined on the basis of extensive spectroscopic data analysis. Pavidolide B (2) possesses an unprecedented 6,5,7-tricarbocyclic nucleus, whereas pavidolide C (3) is characteristic of an unusual C-5 and C-9 conjuncted cembranoid. Pavidolides C and D showed moderate antifouling activity against the larval settlement of barnacle Balanus amphitrite, while pavidolides B and C exhibited inhibitory activity against the human leukemia cell line HL-60.  相似文献

The organic extract of the soft coral Sinularia gibberosa, collected from the northern Taiwan, has been investigated and resulted in the isolation of five new xeniaphyllane-type diterpenoids with a rare cyclic peroxyhemiketal (3,6-dihydro-1,2-dioxin-3-ol) moiety, sinugibberosides A-E (1-5). The structures of the new terpenoids, including their stereochemistries, were established on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis, including 1D and 2D NMR (1H-1H COSY, HMQC, HMBC, and NOESY), and by comparison of their NMR data with those of related compounds. Metabolites 1-5 represent the first example of marine terpenoids possessing a cyclic peroxyhemiketal moiety.  相似文献

Two novel tricyclic diterpenoids rubescensins U (1) and V (2) were isolated from the leaves of Isodon rubescens var. taihangensis. They were elucidated as a 8,15-seco-ent-kauranoid and an ent-abietanoid, respectively, by 1D and 2D NMR spectra, and single crystal X-ray analysis. Compound 1 is the first example of an 8,15-seco-ent-kaurane from the plants genus Isodon. A discussion of their biogenesis is described.  相似文献

Chemical analysis of the Indonesian soft coral Sinularia sp. (order Alcyonacea, family Alcyoniidae) afforded two known and three new C-4 norcembranoids, named chloroscabrolides A (3) and B (4) and prescabrolide (5). Chloroscabrolide A is a pentacyclic norcembranoid including an unprecedented THF-type ring to connect C-13 and C-15; furthermore, it is only the second chlorinated cembranoid derivative to be reported in the literature. The relative configuration of chloroscabrolide A has been established on the basis of a comparison between experimental 13C NMR data and DFT-calculated 13C NMR chemical shifts. All the isolated norcembranoids have been evaluated for iNOS protein inhibition.  相似文献

The first A-nor-hippuristanol, A-nor-22-epi-hippurin-2α-carboxylic acid (1), and two 4,5-secosuberosane sesquiterpenoids, isishippuric acids A and B (2 and 3), have been isolated from the gorgonian coral Isis hippuris. Those structures were deduced by extensive 1D and 2D NMR studies. The structure of 1 was further supported by a single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Isishippuric acid B has been shown to exhibit potent cytotoxicity toward a limited panel of cancer cells.  相似文献

Castanolide (1) and epi-castanolide (2), two novel diterpenoids possessing a unique seco-norabietane skeleton, were isolated from Salviacastanea Diels f. pubescens Stib. Their structures and relative stereochemistry were elucidated by extensive NMR analysis and confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. Two novel diterpenoids, luanchunins A (1) and B (2), along with their precursor, kamebakaurin (3), had been isolated from the stems and leaves of Isodon rubescens var. lushanensis. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analyses. Compounds 1 and 2 showed potent cytotoxic activity against HL-60 with IC50 values of 4.81 μM and 3.52 μM, respectively. A short, versatile, and enantioselective synthesis of 1-deoxy-8-epi-castanospermine (5), 1-deoxy-8-hydroxymethyl castanospermine (6), and (6S,7S,8R,8aR)-8-amino-octahydroindolizine-6,7-diol (7) is achieved from a common template 12. The key step utilized is PET provoked amine radical cyclization of 11 to 12 in excellent diastereoselectivity. The exocyclic double bond at C-8 of the template is functionalized to obtain 5-7 as exclusive diastereomers. 1-Deoxy-8-epi-castanospermine exhibited inhibition of α- and β-galactosidase and β-glucosidase. Compounds 6 and 7 were found to be weak inhibitors of β-glucosidase.  相似文献

Chemical investigation of the Red Sea soft coral Sarcophyton auritum led to the isolation and structure elucidation of two new diterpene cembranoids; 2-epi-sarcophine (2) and (1R,2E,4S,6E,8R,11R,12R)-2,6-cembradiene-4,8,11,12-tetrol (4), as well as two known diterpene cembranoids, reported for the first time from this species, namely sarcophine (1) and (+)-7α,8β-dihydroxydeepoxysarcophine (3). Structure elucidation was achieved using spectroscopic techniques, including 1D and 2D NMR and HRMS. The isolated cembranoids were found to display high cytotoxicity against HepG2 (liver cancer cell line) and MCF-7 (breast cancer cell line).  相似文献

The novel skeleton compounds, chamaecypanone C (3) and obtunorlignan A (4) were isolated from the heartwood of Chamaecyparis obtusa var. formosana. The structure of 3 was elucidated as a dimeric of monoterpene and norlignan with tricyclo[5.2.2.02.6]undecane and the structure of 4 was elucidated as a norlignan skeleton by spectroscopic methods. Compound 3 exhibits potent cytotoxic activity against several human cancer cells with IC50 values ranging from 0.19 to 0.52 μM, whereas 4 has no activity.  相似文献

Four novel eremophilane-type sesquiterpene lactones, 6β,10α-dihydroxy-1-oxoeremophila-7(11),8(9)-dien-12,8-olide (1), 6β-acetyl-2-oxoeremophila-1(10),7(11), 8(9)-trien-12,8-olide (2), 6β,8β-diacetyl-2-oxoeremophila-1(10),7(11)-dien-12,8-olide (3), dimeric eremophilane ligulolide B (5), and known sesquiterpenoid, 6β,8α-diacetyleremophila-1(10),7(11)-dien-12,8-olide (4), were isolated from an extract of the whole plant of Ligularia virgaurea spp. oligocephala. The structure of 1 was confirmed by NMR spectra and single crystal X-ray crystallography investigation, as well as 2, 3, and 5 were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including 1D and 2D NMR spectra. A discussion of biogenesis of 5 was described. Cytotoxicities of compound 1 were measured in vitro against selected cancer cells human promyelocytic leukemia (HL-60), human ovarian (HO-8910) and human lung epithehial (A-549).  相似文献

A novel labdane diterpene was isolated from the plant Acritopappus longifolius. The structure of this compound was established by 1D- and 2D-nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopic techniques and mass spectrometry data. N-Methyl-4-hydroxy-trans-proline, stigmasterol-3-O-β-d-glycoside, and the flavonoids quercetin, luteolin, kaempferol, and rutin were also isolated.  相似文献

The aerial parts of Nauplius graveolens subsp. odorus (Schousb) Wikl. afforded a novel sesquiterpene lactone (1) named naupliolide together with the known 6,7,9,10-tetradehydroasteriscanolide 2 and asteriscunolides A-D 3a-d. The structure of compound 1 corresponds to a novel skeleton of 14,15-dimethyl-7,13-dioxotricyclic[6.4.0.09,11]dodeca-12,13-olide, and was established on the basis of spectroscopic methods including 2D-NMR. The coexistence of naupliolide 1 together with the structurally related sesquiterpene lactones asterisculolides A-D (3a-d) and 6,7,9,10-tetradehydroasteriscanolide 2, seems to indicate their biosynthetic relationship.  相似文献

Seven new diterpenes, featuring the rare 2,6-cyclo-xenicane skeleton, along with eleven previously reported metabolites were isolated from the organic extracts of the brown algae Dilophus fasciola and Dilophus spiralis. The structure elucidation of the isolated natural products was based on detailed analyses of their spectroscopic data (NMR, MS, IR, UV), whereas the assignment of their relative configurations was assisted by molecular modelling studies.  相似文献

Three highly oxidized casbane-type diterpenoids with unique α,β-unsaturated γ-lactones, named Hookerianolides A (1), B (2), and C (3), were isolated from the methylene chloride extracts of Mallotus Hookerianus. Their structures were elucidated based on NMR spectroscopic data and chemical conversions. The stereochemistry was confirmed by combination of ROESY correlations and CD analyses.  相似文献
