Two new pyrrole amide–crown ether conjugates have been synthesised and their anion complexation properties studied in the absence and presence of stoichiometric quantities of sodium or caesium cations. Certain anions are sequestered by the metal cation in DMSO-d 6 (0.5% water), however, in one case a 4.7 fold increase in the fluoride affinity of the receptor was observed upon addition of caesium cations.  相似文献

An ion-pair receptor, 1, containing both cation- and anion-recognizing sites, has been synthesized and characterized. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction structural studies and (1)H NMR spectroscopic analyses confirmed that 1 forms stable 1:1 complexes with CsF in solution and in the solid state in spite of the large separation enforced between the receptor-bound anion and cation. In 9:1 CDCl3/CD3OD, binding of fluoride anion within the calix[4]pyrrole core of 1 was not observed in the absence of a cobound cesium cation; however, it was seen in this solvent mixture under conditions where a Cs(+) cation was bound to the crown ether-strapped calix[4]arene subunit.  相似文献

The conformational preference of calix[4]pyrrole and its fluoride and chloride anion-binding properties have been investigated by density functional theory calculations. Geometries were optimized by the BLYP/3-21G and BLYP/6-31G methods, and energies were evaluated with the BLYP/6-31+G method. To model the effect of medium, the SCIPCM solvent model was also employed. Four typical conformations of the parent substituent-free calix[4]pyrrole were studied. Both in the gas phase and in CH(2)Cl(2) solution, the stability sequence is predicted to be 1,3-alternate > partial cone > 1,2-alternate > cone. The cone conformation is predicted to be about 16.0 and 11.4 kcal/mol less stable in the gas phase and CH(2)Cl(2) solution, respectively. This is mainly due to electrostatic repulsions arising from the all-syn pyrrole/pyrrole/pyrrole/pyrrole arrangement present in this conformer. The existence of possible 1:1 and 1:2 anion-binding modes were explored in the case of fluoride anion, and the factors favoring the 1:1 binding mode are discussed. The calculated binding energy for fluoride anion is about 15 kcal/mol larger than that for chloride anion. The calculated binding energy for chloride anion agrees with the experimental value very well. The presence of meso-alkyl substituents destabilizes the cone conformer with respect to the 1,3-alternate conformer and, therefore, reduces the anion-binding affinity by 3-4 kcal/mol. The strength of N-H- - -anion hydrogen bonds in the various structures subject to study were estimated on the basis of the calculated anion-binding energies and the predicted structural deformation energies of substituent-free calix[4]pyrrole.  相似文献

以乙酰乙酸苄酯(4)为原料, 经Knorr缩合制备了2,4-二甲基-3-丙酸甲酯基-5-羧酸苄酯基-1-氢吡咯 (2) 和2,4-二甲基-3-羧酸甲酯基-5-羧酸苄酯基-1-氢吡咯(3)。乙醚介质中,溴水氧化条件下,吡咯 (2) 发生自身缩合生成二吡咯甲烷 (7),吡咯 (3)无反应发生。在Pb(OAC)4氧化条件下,当其浓度为吡咯 (3)浓度的2倍时,在80 ℃,吡咯 (3) 完全转华。所得产物经HCl甲醇溶液回流,以82%的产率制备了新型2-甲氧基甲基-3-羧酸甲酯基-4-甲基-5-羧酸苄酯基-1氢吡咯 (1)。吡咯(1)、(2)、(3)及二吡咯(7)的结构用核磁、元素分析、质谱和红外等测试技术进行了表征。吡咯(1)的构建对进一步研究吡咯构效关系具有一定参考价值。  相似文献

本文通过Knorr合成法制备了四个3-位乙酰基取代的吡咯衍生物:1, 2-二甲基-4-异丙基-5-苯基-3-乙酰基-吡咯(5a); 1, 2, 4-三甲基-5-对甲氧苯基-3-乙酰基-吡咯(5b); 1, 2, 5-三甲基-4-苯基-3-乙酰基-吡咯(5c); 1, 2, 5-三甲基-4-对甲氧苯基-3-乙酰基-吡咯(5d)。通过红外, 质谱, 核磁等方法对其结构进行了表征。测定了其中三个化合物的晶体结构。对这类吡咯环上4或5-位有芳环取代基时化合物的晶体结构特征进行了扼要讨论, 晶体衍射实验结果表明,4, 5-位上的芳环与吡咯环本身处于非共平面结构。  相似文献

Films of cellulose acetate containing different concentrations of meso-octamethyl-porphyrinogen (calix[4]pyrrole) were prepared and characterized using UV-vis and FTIR spectroscopy, DSC and SEM. Incorporation of calix[4]pyrrole into cellulose acetate leads to a decrease in the degree of hydrophilicity of the polymeric matrix. However, a slight increase in the percentage of water uptake of the polymer is found with an increase of the initial amount of calix[4]pyrrole in the composite composition. This effect can be related to the plasticizing effect that the calix[4]pyrrole provokes in the cellulose acetate. A comparative study of transport parameters of oxygen and some non-associated electrolytes (sodium, copper(II) and nickel chlorides) was carried out. The diffusion coefficients of molecular oxygen through cellulose acetate films decrease with an increase of the concentration of calix[4]pyrrole in the composite films. The transport (diffusion and permeation) of the above mentioned electrolytes through a set of composite films shows a decrease of permeability and diffusion coefficients with an increase of calix[4]pyrrole concentration. Such behaviour is typical of systems where interactions between the polymer and diffusing species occur. However, from the analysis of the distribution coefficient, it was found that those interactions are only dependent on the calix[4]pyrrole content for 2:1 electrolytes.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] N-alkyl-substituted meso-tetrapyrrolylporphyrin (TPyrP) and its derivatives were synthesized for the first time via an acid-catalyzed condensation between N-alkyl-2,4-diformylpyrrole and unsubstituted pyrrole and a subsequent deformylation reaction. X-ray structural analysis of formyl-substituted TPyrP shows the tilting of meso pyrrole rings ca. 60 degrees to the porphyrin plane. Formyl groups of meso pyrrole rings were removed by treatment with trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) in pyrrole.  相似文献

A siloxane-functionalized calix[4]pyrrole derivative was synthesized starting from the corresponding alcohol-functionalized calix[4]pyrrole. Structural elucidation was carried out by using NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and X-ray diffraction analysis. The use of this siloxane-functionalized calix[4]pyrrole for modification of various silica solid supports (silica gel 60, fume silica, and SiO2 nanopowder) was studied. Characterization of the modified silica solid supports was achieved by FTIR, TGA, and elemental analysis. It was also shown that the production of silica nanoparticles is possible via a sol-gel reaction of siloxane-functionalized calix[4]pyrrole and tetraethoxysilane (TEOS). Calix[4]pyrrole modified silica solid supports were found to sense chloride anions of Azure A dye.  相似文献

A ditopic ion-pair receptor (1), which has tunable cation- and anion-binding sites, has been synthesized and characterized. Spectroscopic analyses provide support for the conclusion that receptor 1 binds fluoride and chloride anions strongly and forms stable 1:1 complexes ([1·F](-) and [1·Cl](-)) with appropriately chosen salts of these anions in acetonitrile. When the anion complexes of 1 were treated with alkali metal ions (Li(+), Na(+), K(+), Cs(+), as their perchlorate salts), ion-dependent interactions were observed that were found to depend on both the choice of added cation and the initially complexed anion. In the case of [1·F](-), no appreciable interaction with the K(+) ion was seen. On the other hand, when this complex was treated with Li(+) or Na(+) ions, decomplexation of the bound fluoride anion was observed. In contrast to what was seen with Li(+), Na(+), K(+), treating [1·F](-) with Cs(+) ions gave rise to a stable, host-separated ion-pair complex, [F·1·Cs], which contains the Cs(+) ion bound in the cup-like portion of the calix[4]pyrrole. Different complexation behavior was seen in the case of the chloride complex, [1·Cl](-). Here, no appreciable interaction was observed with Na(+) or K(+). In contrast, treating with Li(+) produces a tight ion-pair complex, [1·Li·Cl], in which the cation is bound to the crown moiety. In analogy to what was seen for [1·F](-), treatment of [1·Cl](-) with Cs(+) ions gives rise to a host-separated ion-pair complex, [Cl·1·Cs], in which the cation is bound to the cup of the calix[4]pyrrole. As inferred from liposomal model membrane transport studies, system 1 can act as an effective carrier for several chloride anion salts of Group 1 cations, operating through both symport (chloride+cation co-transport) and antiport (nitrate-for-chloride exchange) mechanisms. This transport behavior stands in contrast to what is seen for simple octamethylcalix[4]pyrrole, which acts as an effective carrier for cesium chloride but does not operates through a nitrate-for-chloride anion exchange mechanism.  相似文献

The objective of the present study is to identify possible adsorption configurations of pyrrole on Mo(110) using density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Several adsorption configurations were studied including pyrrole and pyrrolyl adsorption as parallel, perpendicular, and tilted adsorption modes relative to the Mo(110) surface plane. Based on the DFT calculations, pyrrole is suggested to adsorb in a parallel mode with respect to the Mo(110) surface through its pi-orbital as mu3,eta(5)-Pyr-0 degrees with an adsorption energy of -28.7 to -31.5 kcal mol(-1). The possibility of a coexisting mode where pyrrole adsorbs on the surface with a slightly tilted molecular plane as mu3,eta(4)(N,C2,C3,C4)-Pyr-5 degrees is also likely to occur, particularly at higher pyrrole coverages. The slightly tilted configuration is suggested to arise from the lateral interactions of adsorbed pyrrole on Mo(110), and not the result of a phase transformation on the surface since this requires a relatively high activation energy as indicated by additional linear synchronous transit (LST)/quadratic synchronous transit (QST) calculations. Both adsorption geometries bond to three surface Mo atoms, and Mo(110) did not promote hydrogen abstraction. Pyrrolyl adsorption on Mo(110) is energetically possible, but unlikely to occur because gas-phase hydrogen has not been previously experimentally observed as a pyrrole decomposition product on Mo(110).  相似文献

The rate and equilibrium kinetics of the reactions of the biologically important metal species M(+), M(+)(pyrrole) and M(+)(pyrrole)(2) (M = Ni, Cu) have been investigated with the biological gases CO(2), D(2)O, NH(3) and NO in the gas phase at 295 +/- 2 K in helium buffer-gas at a pressure of 0.35 +/- 0.01 Torr. The measurements were taken with an Inductively Coupled Plasma/Selected-Ion Flow Tube (ICP/SIFT) tandem mass spectrometer. Only ligation was observed for the reactions of bare Ni(+) and Cu(+) with CO(2), D(2)O and NH(3) with rates consistent with the known strengths of the resulting ligand-metal bonds. Both metal cations appeared to be oxidized and produce N(2)O in interesting reactions that are second order in NO. One pyrrole ligand was observed to increase the rate of ligation by as much as a factor of 100 and to switch off the oxidation with NO. Equilibrium was achieved for the ligation of CO(2), D(2)O and NO to both Ni(+)(pyrrole) and Cu(+)(pyrrole), and so it was possible to determine absolute values for the standard free energies of ligation. No ligand substitution was observed with M(+)(pyrrole). M(+)(pyrrole)(2) was observed to be generally unreactive towards the small molecules investigated: a notable exception is ammonia. Very fast ligand substitution reactions were observed for reactions of M(+)(pyrrole)(2) with NH(2).  相似文献

We report an inexpensive method for producing a diverse array of pyrrole amides on a large scale and in good yield. The synthetic sequence allows for the preparation of a number of pyrrole amide derivatives in excellent to moderate yields from commercially available compounds. The diketene adduct, in the presence of an amine nucleophile, provides an excellent method for acetoacetylation. For diversity and versatility, a second method utilizing Meldrum's acid was successfully employed for the preparation of additional acetoacetamide derivatives. Using the Knorr pyrrole synthesis, pyrrole amides were readily prepared from the oxime of the acetoacetamides.  相似文献

The binding of different anions to calix[4]pyrrole has been studied by means of molecular dynamics coupled to thermodynamic integration calculations. The effect of different apolar solvents, octafluoro substitution, and the change in binding free energy derived from the presence of cosolute and water traces (the hydrated salt used to introduce the anion in the solution) were examined. Calculations allow us to rationalize the differential binding of ions to calix[4]pyrrole and octafluorocalix[4]pyrrole as well as to predict the behavior in new solvents for which experimental data are not available yet. It is found that both calix[4]pyrrole and octafluorocalix[4]pyrrole have a dramatic preference for F- in the gas phase and pure aprotic solvents, but the situation can change dramatically in protic solvents or in the presence of the hydrated cation which is used as cosolute of the anion. Overall, our results provide interesting clues for a better understanding of the process detected experimentally as "binding".  相似文献

A new compound with electride characteristics, Li@calix[4]pyrrole, is designed in theory. The Li atom in Li@calix[4]pyrrole is ionized to form a cation and an excess electron anion. Its structure with C(4v) symmetry resembles a cup-like shape. It may be a stable organic electride at room temperature. The first hyperpolarizability of the cup-like electride molecule is first investigated by the DFT (B3LYP) method. The result shows that this electride molecule has a considerably large first hyperpolarizability with beta(0) = 7326 au (63.3 x 10(-30) esu), while the beta(0) value of the related calix[4]pyrrole system is only 390 au. Obviously, the Li atom doped in calix[4]pyrrole brings a dramatic change to the electronic structure, so that the first hyperpolarizability of Li@calix[4]pyrrole is almost 20 times larger than that of calix[4]pyrrole. We find that the excess electron from the Li atom plays an important role in the large first hyperpolarizability of Li@calix[4]pyrrole. The present investigation reveals a new idea and different means for designing and synthesizing high-performance NLO materials.  相似文献

The synthesis of porphyrin precursors requires the successive introduction of substituents at the pyrrole alpha- and alpha'-positions (2- and 5-, respectively). An alpha-pyrrole substituent that serves as a temporary masking agent and is not deactivating would greatly facilitate such syntheses, particularly for beta-(3,4)-unsubstituted pyrroles, but has heretofore not been available. A series of alpha-RS groups (R = Me, Et, n-decyl, Ph) have been investigated in this regard, including the determination of the kinetics of substitution at the pyrrolic 3-, 4-, and 5-positions and the application to dipyrromethane formation. The RS group was readily introduced into the pyrrole alpha-position by the reaction of 2-thiocyanatopyrrole (prepared from pyrrole, ammonium thiocyanate, and iodine) and the corresponding Grignard reagent RMgBr. Each 2-alkylthio group activated the pyrrole ring toward deuteration at the 3- or 5- (vs 4-) position. The dipyrromethane synthesis was carried out using a 2:1 ratio of 2-(RS)pyrrole/benzaldehyde with a catalytic amount of InCl3 at room temperature in the absence of any solvent. The alpha-RS group was removed by hydrodesulfurization using Raney nickel or nickel complexes. This stoichiometric synthesis using the alpha-RS-protected pyrrole is in contrast to the traditional synthesis that employs an aldehyde and 25-100 mol equiv of pyrrole. Six meso-substituted dipyrromethanes were prepared by the reaction of 2-(n-decylthio)pyrrole/aldehyde/InCl3 (2.2:1:0.2 ratio) followed by hydrodesulfurization. Other reactions of the 1,9-bis(RS)dipyrromethane include oxidation to give (i) the 1,9-bis(RS)dipyrrin or (ii) the 1,9-bis(RSO2)dipyrromethane, which underwent subsequent complexation with dibutyltin dichloride. In summary, under mild reaction conditions, the 2-alkylthio group is readily introduced to the pyrrole nucleus, directs electrophilic substitution to the 5-position, and is readily removed as required for elaboration of porphyrinic precursors.  相似文献

The adsorption behavior of pyrrole molecule with external surface of (5.0) on zigzag aluminum nitride nanotube (AlNNT) was studied using density functional theory calculations. It was found that the adsorption energy (Ead) of pyrrole on the surface of pristine nanotubes is about–11.99 kcal/mol. However, when nanotubes have been doped with P atom, the adsorption energy of pyrrole was increased. Calculation showed that for the phosphorus-doped nanotube the adsorption energy range is about–9.04 to?12.80 kcal/mol. AlNNT is a suitable adsorbent for pyrrole, so it can be used in adsorption and separation processes involving pyrrole. The doped AlNNT can potentially be used for pyrrole sensors for detection in environmental systems.  相似文献

Trimethylsilyl (TMS)‐protected alkynes served as selective alkyne cross‐coupling partners in titanium‐catalyzed [2+2+1] pyrrole synthesis. Reactions of TMS‐protected alkynes with internal alkynes and azobenzene under the catalysis of titanium imido complexes yielded pentasubstituted 2‐TMS‐pyrroles with greater than 90 % selectivity over the other nine possible pyrrole products. The steric and electronic effects of the TMS group were both identified to play key roles in this highly selective pyrrole synthesis. This strategy provides a convenient method to synthesize multisubstituted pyrroles as well as an entry point for further pyrrole diversification through facile modification of the resulting 2‐silyl pyrrole products, as demonstrated through a short formal synthesis of the marine natural product lamellarin R.  相似文献

Calixpyrrole-based oligomeric compounds were synthesized by "click chemistry" from the corresponding alkyne- and azide-functionalized calix[4]pyrroles. Calix[4]pyrrole 3, possessing an alkyne functional group, was prepared through a mixed condensation of pyrrole with acetone and but-3-ynyl 4-oxopentanoate. Another alkyne-group-containing calix[4]pyrrole 5 was obtained by treatment of 4'-hydroxyphenyl-functionalized calixpyrrole 4 with propargyl bromide. Tetrakis(azidopentyl)-functionalized calix[4]pyrrole 7 was synthesized by reacting NaN(3) with tetrabromopentyltetraethylcalix[4]pyrrole 6, which was prepared through a condensation reaction of pyrrole and 7-bromohept-2-one. Oligomeric calixpyrrole compounds were found to be capable of extracting tetrabutylammonium chloride and fluoride salts from aqueous media. Extraction abilities of the oligomeric compounds were monitored by NMR and UV/Vis spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis.  相似文献
