The complex (ptppf)Fe(CO)3 has been prepared in high yield by the reaction of ptppf, l-(diphenyl-phosphino)-l'-(phenylthio)ferrocene, with (cis-cyclooctene)2-Fe(CO)3 in THF at ?60°C. The complex has been characterized by IR, 31P NMR, mass spectrometry and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. This compound is the first example of a ferrocenyl ligand having both sulfur and phosphorus donor atoms bound to a Fe(CO)3 moiety. X-ray crystallography shows that the two cyclopentadienyl rings are approximately eclipsed, a rotation of 13° from exactly eclipsed conformation. The tricarbonyl iron center has a trigonal bipyramidal geometry with sulfur occupying the equatorial site and phosphorus the axial site. Crystals of (ptppf)Fe(CO)3 are monoclinic, with a = 11.645(2), b = 14.304(1), c = 17.075(2) Å,β = 109.23(3)°, Z = 4, and space group P 21/n. The structure was solved according to the heavy-atom method and refined by full-matrix least-squares procedures to R = 0.037 for 2098 reflections with I ≥ 2.5σ(I).  相似文献

In this report, 3-((4,6-dimethylpyrimidin-2-yl)amino)isobenzofuran-1(3H)-one have been synthesized via reaction between phthalaldehydic acid and 2-amino-4,6-dimethylpyrimidine in 90% yields and characterized by Infrared (IR), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Ultraviolet–visible (UV–Vis), X-ray single crystal diffraction techniques. The single-crystal X-ray analysis shows that the title compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1 with unit-cell parameters a = 7.9351(4) Å, b = 11.1687(6) Å, c = 16.1281(9) Å, α = 73.713(5)°, β = 80.362(5)°, γ = 72.882(4)° and Z = 4. A theoretical study with hybrid functional B3LYP 6-311G (d, p) basis set have been used in calculations. The structural and electronic properties have been detailed. The title compound was screened for its antioxidant activity by (1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl hydrazyl) free radical scavenging (DPPH), Ferric ion reducing antioxidant power (FRAP), total phenolic contents (TP) assays and its ferrous ions chelating property. Electronic absorption titration, thermal denaturation measurement and viscosity techniques were used to determine the interaction between double stranded DNA (dsDNA) and compound 1. In three techniques, the mode of binding of compound 1 to dsDNA is minor groove. The UV–Vis measurement results allowed the calculation of the binding constant showing the binding strength of compound 1 to dsDNA was calculated as 8.13 × 104 ± 0.07 L mol−1. Moreover, the molecular docking calculations have been performed to investigate the compound–DNA interactions, computationally. In molecular docking calculations, it was observed that for the title compound, the lowest energy docking pose takes place in the minor groove of DNA and in addition to minor groove binding, interactions between the compound and the consecutive base pairs of DNA which may cause a partial intercalation were also observed. Results showed that title compound – DNA complex is stabilized by several hydrogen bonds, and Pi-alkyl interactions also take part in the stabilization of the complex. Binding affinities of the lowest energy docking pose of the title compound was found to be −8.3 kcal/mol.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structures of [tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl]pentacarbonylmanganese, (Me3Si)3SiMn(CO)5, have been determined from three-dimensional X-ray data obtained by counter methods. The compound crystallizes in space group P1 of the triclinic system, with two molecules in a unit cell of dimensions: a = 9.002(2), b = 9.655(2), c = 15.639(3) Å, α = 83.66(1), β = 105.65(1), γ = 114.61(1)°.The observed and calculated densities are 1.20 (±0.03) and 1.23 g-cm?3 respectively. Full-matrix least-squares refinement of the structure has led to a final value of the conventional R factor of 0.059 for the 818 independent reflections having F2 > 3σ(F2).The coordination geometry about the manganese atom is approximately octahedral and, about the silicon atom bonded to the manganese atom, tetrahedral. The relative orientations of carbonyl and trimethylsilyl groups, when viewed down the MnSi bond, appear consistent with minimization of energy due to nonbonded interactions. Two of the equatorial carbonyl groups are displaced out of the equatorial plane towards the silicon ligand by 6°. The SiMn bond is 2.564(6) Å long and has no multiple character.  相似文献

A fungal culture (Penicillium sp., HT-28), isolated from soil has been evaluated for its bioactivity, which showed broad spectrum antimicrobial activity and was effective against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) also. Statistical optimization of the medium by response surface methodology (RSM) enhanced the antimicrobial activity up to 1.8-fold. Column chromatography was used to isolate the active compound (A), which was characterized to be 6-[1,2-dimethyl-6-(2-methyl-allyloxy)-hexyl]-3-(2-methoxy-phenyl)-chromen-4-one by various spectroscopic techniques such as infrared (IR), 1H and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra, and mass spectroscopy. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the active compound (A) ranged from 0.5 to 15 μg/mL. Viable cell count studies of the active compound (A) showed S. aureus, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Salmonella typhimurium 1 to be the most sensitive. The compound retained its bioactivity after treating it at 100 °C for 1 h. Furthermore, the compound (A) when tested for its biosafety was found neither to be cytotoxic nor mutagenic. The study demonstrated that an apparently novel compound isolated from Penicillium sp. (HT-28) seems to be a stable and potent antimicrobial.  相似文献
