Conclusions For the first time the authors have obtained an acetate of platinum(III); on the basis of ESCA spectra, polarographic data, and magnetic susceptibility measurements they assign this compound to the metal-metal bond type.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 4, pp. 754–758, April, 1980.The authors also thank N. A. Ezerskaya who helped in the polarographic investigation of the complexes.  相似文献

Platinum silicon antimonide (PtSiSb) was obtained as a byproduct of a reaction of Pt and Sb in a silica tube. Its structure was determined from X-ray diffraction data (orthorhombic, space group Pbca, Z=8, a=6.3128(8) Å, b=6.3347(8) Å, c=11.3945(12) Å). PtSiSb is closely related to PtSiTe, which adopts a ternary ordered pararammelsbergite (α-NiAs2)-type structure. The structure of PtSiSb consists of a three-dimensional network built up by condensing PtSi3Sb3 octahedra through both corner- and edge-sharing. As in all representatives of the parent α-NiAs2-type structure, anion-anion pairs are present in PtSiSb. However, the electron count in PtSiSb is 19e per formula unit, one electron less than that for α-NiAs2-type structures. This oxidation results in a significant distortion in the PtSiSb structure related to the occurrence of metal-metal pairs. Extended Hückel calculations were carried out on PtSiSb and PtSiTe to analyze these structural transformations as a function of electron count. A narrow band gap (<1 eV) is predicted for PtSiSb; experimental measurements revealed that the resistivity is high (ρ300=0.2 Ω cm) and weakly temperature dependent, suggesting a small degree of nonstoichiometry or impurity.  相似文献

Reaction of 1,2-dimethylhydrazine with the platinum hydroxo complex [(dppp)Pt(mu-OH)](2)(BF(4))(2) gives the bridging 1,2-dimethylhydrazido(-2) product [(dppp)(2)Pt(2)(mu-eta(2):eta(2)-MeNNMe)](BF(4))(2) 1. Crystals of 1.CH(2)Cl(2) from CH(2)Cl(2)/Et(2)O are monoclinic (C/2) with a = 19.690(1), b = 18.886(1), c = 17.170 (1) A, and beta = 92.111(1) degrees. Treatment of [(dppp)Pt(mu-OH)](2)(OTf)(2) with 1,1-dimethylhydrazine gives [(dppp)(2)Pt(2)(mu-OH)(mu-NHNMe(2))](OTf)(2) 2. Crystals of 2.CH(2)Cl(2) from CH(2)Cl(2)/Et(2)O are triclinic (P-1) with a = 12.910 (3), b = 13.927(3), c = 17.5872 (3) A, alpha = 87.121(3), beta = 89.997(4), and gamma = 84.728(3) degrees. The effect of the phenanthroline substituents on the structure and reactivity of platinum(II) and platinum(IV) complexes has been investigated. The X-ray crystal structures of the compounds [PtI(2)(4,7-Ph(2)phen)].CHCl(3) (1dz.CHCl(3)), [PtI(4)(4,7-Ph(2)phen)].CHCl(3) (2dz.CHCl(3)), [PtI(2)(2,9-Me(2)-4,7-Ph(2)phen)] (1fz), and [PtI(4)(2,9-Me(2)-4,7-Ph(2)phen)].I(2) (2fz.I(2)) have shown that complexes 1fz and 2fz, containing ortho-substituted phenanthrolines, exhibit a remarkable displacement of the equatorial iodine atoms from the N-Pt-N' plane (average 0.477(2) and 0.199(2) ?, respectively), a bending of the phenanthroline [angle between outer rings of 19.9(7) and 14.2(7) degrees, respectively] and a rotation of the N-C-C'-N' plane with respect to the N-Pt-N' plane [32.3(10) and 26.5(9) degrees, respectively]. Comparison between the structures of 1fz and 2fz, both having the phenanthroline with methyl substituents in the ortho position, indicates that, in the latter case, because of the presence of the two axial iodine ligands, the displacements of the ligands from the equatorial plane are smaller and find a compensation in a narrowing of the I(1)-Pt-I(1') angle (5 degrees ) and a lengthening of the Pt-N bonds (0.07 ?). The electrochemical behavior of the four-coordinate platinum(II) complexes shows that compounds possessing regular planar geometry have access to the one-electron reduced species, whereas those with distorted coordination geometry are irreversibly reduced by collapsing of the complex geometry. This is in sharp contrast with the behavior of related nickel complexes for which the pseudo-tetrahedral coordination imposed by bulky 2,9-substituents of phenanthroline stabilizes the nickel(I) species. Spectroscopic results allow us to assign a significant Pt(I) character to [1d](-) monoanions. The electrogenerated, plus one electron, complexes are not indefinitely stable and, because of conjugation with the phen ligand, progressively restore the Pt(II) oxidation state by transferring the electron to the peripheral organic ligand. The latter process can involve multiple electron additions in the macroelectrolysis time scale. The related platinum(IV) complexes [PtX(4)(L)] undergo irreversible two-electron reduction accompanied by fast release of the axial ligands and formation of the corresponding platinum(II) species.  相似文献

The ligands 2-(allyl)pyridine(APy), and 2-(1-methallyl)pyridine (1-MAPy) react with [Pt2X4(PEt3)2] (X = Cl or Br), in acetone solution to give complexes of the type [PtX(PEt3)L] [PtX3(PEt3)], (L = APy or 1-MAPy), which contain a bidentate 2-(alkenyl)pyridine, whereas the same reaction in benzene solution gives trans-[PtBr2(PEt3)L], (L = APy or 1-MAPy), which contains a monodentate 2-(alkenyl)pyridine; 1H NMR spectra indicate that both types of product undergo olefin exchange in solution. The same reaction with 2-(3-methallyl)-pyridine [2-(2-butenyl)pyridine] (3-MAPy), 2-(3,3-dimethylallyl)pyridine [2-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)pyridine] (3,3-DMAPy), and 2-(3-butenyl)pyridine (BPy), in either acetone or benzene solution, gives only trans-[PtBr2(PEt3)L]. The reaction of trans-[PtBr2(PEt3)L] (L = APy or 3-MAPy) with AgClO4 gives [PtBr(PEt3)L]ClO4. Complexes of the type [PtCl2L], which contain bidentate 2-(alkenyl)pyridines, result on reaction of L = APy, 3-MAPy, 3,3-DMAPy, BPy, MBPy with [Pt2Cl4(C2H4)2].  相似文献

Platinum(IV) prodrugs are highly interesting alternatives to platinum(II) anticancer therapeutics due to their increased tumor selectivity and reduced side effects. In contrast to the established theory, we recently observed that the equatorial ligand(s) of e.g. oxaliplatin(IV) complexes can be hydrolyzed with formation of [(DACH)Pt(OHeq)2(OAcax)2]. In the work presented here, we investigated the reactivity and synthetic usability of this complex to be exploited as a precursor for the development of novel platinum(IV) complexes, not able to be synthesized by conventional protocols. Indeed, we could substitute the equatorial hydroxido ligand(s) e.g. by one or two monodentate biotin ligands (which would be oxidized under standard methods). The formed complexes turned out to be very stable with slow ligand release after reduction, ideal for long-circulating tumor-targeting strategies. Therefore, two platinum(IV) complexes with equatorial maleimides, capable of exploiting serum albumin as a natural nanocarrier, were synthesized as well. The complexes showed massively prolonged plasma half-life and distinctly improved anticancer activity in vivo compared to oxaliplatin. Taken together, the newly developed synthetic platform allows the simple and specific insertion of equatorial ligands into platinum(IV) complexes. This will enable the attachment of three different (bioactive) moieties generating targeted triple-action platinum(IV) prodrugs within one single platinum complex.  相似文献

Sorption of platinum(II) and platinum(IV) chloride complexes on nitrogen-containing fibrous sorbents derived from polyacrylonitrile with aminoguanidine groups (GLIPAN-3) was studied as influenced by the temperature, platinum concentration in the solution, and pH of the solution. The kinetic sorption parameters and the sorption capacities of the sorbents in hydrochloric acid and chloride solutions were determined. The sorption mechanism and the composition of platinum compounds formed in the sorbent phase were suggested.__________Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Khimii, Vol. 78, No. 5, 2005, pp. 729–735.Original Russian Text Copyright © 2005 by Simanova, Kuznetsova, Konovalov, Shchukarev.  相似文献

Summary Platinum(II) and Palladium(II) complexes with 2-mercaptopyrimidine, 2-thiocytosine (4-aminopyrimidine 2-thione), and isocytosine (2-amino-4-hydroxy pyrimidine) were prepared and characterised by elemental analysis, conductivity data, i.r.,1H n.m.r. and13C n.M.r. spectral studies. 2-Mercaptopyrimidine and 2-thiocytosine are coordinated to the metal ion through N(3) and C2S, thus forming a four-membered chelate ring. Isocytosine acts as a monodentate ligand and coordinates to the metal ion through N(1). All the complexes are non-electrolytes.  相似文献

The action of moisture on the homoleptic organoplatinum(II) compound [NBu4]2[Pt(CF3)4] ( 1 ) gives rise to the carbonyl derivative [NBu4][Pt(CF3)3(CO)] ( 2 ), which is itself moisture stable. However, treatment of compound 2 with HCl(aq) results in the formation of [NBu4][cis‐Pt(CF3)2Cl(CO)] ( 3 ), which undergoes degradation of an additional CF3 group by further treatment with HCl(aq) in large excess, affording [NBu4][cis‐Pt(CF3)Cl2(CO)] ( 4 ). The carbonyl derivatives 2 – 4 are fairly stable species, in which the CO ligand, however, can be readily extruded by reaction with trimethylamine N‐oxide (ONMe3). Thus, compound 2 reacts with ONMe3 in the presence of a number of neutral or anionic ligands affording a series of singly or doubly charged derivatives with the general formulae [NBu4][Pt(CF3)3(L)] [L=CNtBu ( 5 ), PPh3 ( 6 ), P(o‐tolyl)3 ( 7 ), tht ( 8 ; tht=tetrahydrothiophene)] and [NBu4]2[Pt(CF3)3X] [X=Cl ( 9 ), Br ( 10 ), I ( 11 )], respectively. Compound 2 also reacts with ONMe3 and pyridin‐2‐thiol (C5H5NS) giving rise to the five‐membered metallacyclic derivative [NBu4][Pt(CF3)2(CF2NC5H4S‐κCS)] ( 12 ), which can be viewed as a difluorocarbene species stabilized by intramolecular base coordination. On the other hand, treatment of compound 3 with ONMe3 in the presence of C5H5NS yields the four‐membered metallacyclic compound [NBu4][Pt(CF3)2(NC5H4S‐κNS)] ( 13 ). The geometries of the metallacycles in compounds 12 and 13 are compared. In the absence of any additional ligand, compound 3 undergoes dimerization producing the dinuclear species [NBu4]2[{Pt(CF3)2}2(μ‐Cl)2] ( 14 ). Halide abstraction in the latter compound with AgClO4 in THF yields the solvento compound cis‐[Pt(CF3)2(thf)2] ( 15 ). The highly labile character of the THF ligands in compound 15 makes this species a convenient synthon of the “cis‐Pt(CF3)2” unit.  相似文献

Tight contact ion pairs of general formula {Pt(H(2)-R(2)-dto)(2)(2+),(X(-))(2)} have been prepared, and their absorption spectra and luminescence properties (at room temperature in dichloromethane fluid solution and at 77 K in butyronitrile rigid matrix) have been studied (dto = dithiooxamide; R = methyl, X = Cl (1); R = butyl, X = Cl (2); R = benzyl, X = Cl (3); R = cyclohexyl, X = Cl (4); R = cyclohexyl, X = Br (5); R = cyclohexyl, X = I (6)). The absorption spectra of all the compounds are dominated by moderately strong Pt(dpi)/S(p) to dithiooxamide (pi) charge transfer (Pt/S --> dto CT) bands in the visible region (epsilon in the 10(4)-10(5) M(-)(1) cm(-)(1) range). Absorption features are also present at higher energies, due to pi-pi transitions centered in the dto ligands (ligand centered, LC). All the compounds exhibit a unstructured luminescence band in fluid solution at room temperature, with the maximum centered in the 700-730 nm range. The luminescence bands are blue-shifted about 4000 cm(-)(1) on passing to the rigid matrix at 77 K. Luminescence lifetimes are on the 10(-)(8)-10(-)(7) s time scale at room temperature and 1 order of magnitude longer at 77 K. Luminescence is assigned to triplet Pt/S --> dto CT excited states in all cases. Compounds 3-6 also exhibit a second higher-energy luminescence band at room temperature, centered at about 610 nm, attributed to a LC excited state. Charge transfer interactions between halides and dto ligands destabilize dto-centered orbitals, affecting the energy of Pt/S --> dto CT transitions and states. The X counterions and X --> dto CT levels are proposed to play a role in promoting excited state conversion between LC and Pt/S --> dto CT levels. The R substituents on the nitrogen atoms of the dto ligands influence the absorption and photophysical properties of the compounds, by affecting proximity of the ion pairs. The possibility to functionalize the R substituents may open the way to interface these luminescent compounds with desired substrates and to construct supramolecular assemblies.  相似文献

Oxidation of the acetate-bridged half-lantern platinum(II) complex cis-[Pt(II)(NH(3))(2)(μ-OAc)(2)Pt(II)(NH(3))(2)](NO(3))(2), [1](NO(3))(2), with iodobenzene dichloride or bromine generates the halide-capped platinum(III) species cis-[XPt(III)(NH(3))(2)(μ-OAc)(2)Pt(III)(NH(3))(2)X](NO(3))(2), where X is Cl in [2](NO(3))(2) or Br in [3](NO(3))(2), respectively. These three complexes, characterized structurally by X-ray crystallography, feature short (≈2.6 ?) Pt-Pt separations, consistent with formation of a formal metal-metal bond upon oxidation. Elongated axial Pt-X distances occur, reflecting the strong trans influence of the metal-metal bond. The three structures are compared to those of other known dinuclear platinum complexes. A combination of (1)H, (13)C, (14)N, and (195)Pt NMR spectroscopy was used to characterize [1](2+)-[3](2+) in solution. All resonances shift downfield upon oxidation of [1](2+) to [2](2+) and [3](2+). For the platinum(III) complexes, the (14)N and (195)Pt resonances exhibit decreased line widths by comparison to those of [1](2+). Density functional theory calculations suggest that the decrease in the (14)N line width arises from a diminished electric field gradient at the (14)N nuclei in the higher valent compounds. The oxidation of [1](NO(3))(2) with the alternative oxidizing agent bis(trifluoroacetoxy)iodobenzene affords the novel tetranuclear complex cis-[(O(2)CCF(3))Pt(III)(NH(3))(2)(μ-OAc)(2)Pt(III)(NH(3))(μ-NH(2))](2)(NO(3))(4), [4](NO(3))(4), also characterized structurally by X-ray crystallography. In solution, this complex exists as a mixture of species, the identities of which are proposed.  相似文献

When the platinum(II) and palladium(II) salts interact with ligands such as cystamine-(mercamine) HSCH2CH2NH2 and 2-mercaptoethanol HSCH2CH2OH under certain conditions, polynuclear complexes of the compositions are obtained: [Pt6(SCH2CH2NH2)8]Cl4. 5H2O and [Pd6(SCH2CH2OH)8]Cl4. In a comparative study of the IR and X-ray spectra of synthesized complexes and ligands, as well as the results of X-ray diffraction studies, it was established that sulfur atoms of 2-mercaptoethanol occupy a bridge position with a mixed coordination of ligands in the palladium complex. In the platinum(II) complex bidentate coordination of ligands is realized through sulfur and nitrogen atoms.  相似文献

The introduction of fluorine into an organic molecule imparts unique physicochemical properties. Not surprisingly, fluorine is increasingly incorporated into new drugs and agrochemicals. However, aryl fluoride building blocks are only available through synthesis. The ability to cross-couple polyfluoroaromatics selectively could provide a convenient route to functionalized fluoroaromatics. We report herein the first examples of Pt-catalyzed cross-coupling of aryl fluorides. The methylated products can potentially serve as precursors to a wide range of functionalized fluorinated small molecules.  相似文献
