Ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) has been used to study the magnetic material in the antennae, head, thorax and abdomen of Solenopsis interrupta ants. The measurements were performed at room temperature (RT). The ferrimagnetic broad lines associated to magnetite/maghemite isolated nanoparticles (high field, HF) and to large nanoparticles or aggregates (low field, LF) in insect spectra are present in the S. interrupta body part spectra, although they slightly differ in resonant fields and lineshapes. The spectral absorption areas show (32±3)%, (24±2)%, (21±2)% and (23±1)% of magnetic material average fractions in antennae, head, abdomen and thorax, respectively. Only the resonance field of the head and antennae showed angular dependence. This work shows that head and antenna of S. interrupta ant present organized magnetic material, indicating a biomineralization process.  相似文献

Ferromagnetic resonance temperature dependence is used to study the magnetic material in smashed head, thorax, and abdomen of Solenopsis substituta ants. These three body parts present the five lines previously observed in other social insects. The magnetic material content is slightly higher in heads with antennae than in abdomen with petiole. Isolated nanoparticle diameters were estimated as 12.5 +/- 0.1 and 11.0 +/- 0.2 nm in abdomen with petiole and head with antennae, respectively. The presence of linear chains of these particles or large ellipsoidal particles are suggested. A bulk-like magnetite particle was observed in the thorax. The Curie-Weiss, the structural-electronic and ordering transition temperatures were obtained in good agreement with those proposed for magnetite nanoparticles.  相似文献

语音带宽扩展是为了提高语音质量,利用语音低频和高频之间的相关性重构语音高频的一种技术。高斯混合模型法是语音带宽技术中被广泛应用的一种方法,但是,该方法的映射函数是分段线性函数,且没有考虑语音前后帧的相关信息。因此,提出了一种基于条件受限玻尔兹曼机的方法。该方法利用条件受限玻尔兹曼机提取了语音信号的帧间信息,同时将语音低频、高频特征参数映射为高阶统计特性,深层发掘和模拟了语音低频和高频之间的非线性关系。客观和主观对比测试结果都表明,该方法性能优于传统的高斯混合模型方法。   相似文献

In this work, a new method to measure in contact the nonlinearity parameter beta of solid plates is presented. A high frequency (HF) tone-burst signal of 20 MHz is inserted in the material by a contact-transducer (with a suitable coupling). A low frequency (LF) pulse (2.5 MHz) is applied to the other face, in the opposite direction, so that the nonlinear interaction of the two waves takes place during the back propagation toward the HF transducer. This collinear interaction creates a phase modulation of the HF tone-burst which is proportional to the beta coefficient and the particle velocity of the LF wave. To determine this particle velocity, in time domain, an extended self-reciprocity calibration of the contact LF transducer is used. A numeric phase demodulation is then performed, giving the beta coefficient of the sample. The proposed method is validated by nonlinearity parameter measurements in Fused Silica. The nonlinear parameter of Fused Silica measured is found to be in good agreement with the literature, and specially the negative sign of this parameter.  相似文献

The low lying excitation energy spectra of two, three and five quantum dot electrons with harmonic model interactions in a large magnetic field are calculated by the Hartree Fock(HF) methods. Correlation effects on the energy level structures are investigated by comparing the HF results with the exact ones. It is found that the pure collective excitations(center of mass mode quanta) existing in the exact energy spectra do not appear in the HF energy spectra. The adsorption of (1) bovine serum albumin in acetate buffer, (2) albumin followed by glutaraldehyde crosslinking, (3) albumin followed by exposure to an albumin/glutaraldehyde solution, and (4) albumin after the surface was subjected to treatment (3), has been studied using Ta oxide/Ta chips and SiO2/Si wafers as substrates. The films were washed, air dried and measured in air using an automatic laser ellipsometer, 6328 Å. The films formed from treatment (3) and treatment (4) have a lower refractive index and are thicker than films formed from treatment (1) and treatment (2). The adsorption of albumin on SiO2/Si wafers seems to be slower than that on the Ta oxide/Ta surfaces.  相似文献

A method of acoustic imaging is discussed that potentially can improve the diagnostic capabilities of medical ultrasound. The method, given the name second order ultrasound field imaging, is achieved by the processing of the received signals from transmitted dual frequency band pulse complexes with at least partly overlapping high frequency (HF) and low frequency (LF) pulses. The transmitted HF pulses are used for image reconstruction whereas the transmitted LF pulses are used to manipulate the elastic properties of the medium observed by the HF imaging pulses. In the present paper, nonlinear propagation effects observed by a HF imaging pulse due to the presence of a LF manipulation pulse is discussed. When using dual frequency band transmit pulse complexes with a large separation in center frequency (e.g., 1:10), these nonlinear propagation effects are manifested as a nonlinear HF propagation delay and a HF pulse distortion different from conventional harmonic distortion. In addition, with different transmit foci for the HF and LF pulses, nonlinear aberration will occur.  相似文献

In preclinical research, genetic studies have made considerable progress as a result of the development of transgenic animal models of human diseases. Consequently, there is now a need for higher resolution MRI to provide finer details for studies of small animals (rats, mice) or very small animals (insects). One way to address this issue is to work with high-magnetic-field spectrometers (dedicated to small animal imaging) with strong magnetic field gradients. It is also necessary to develop a complete methodology (transmit/receive coil, pulse sequence, fixing system, air supply, anesthesia capabilities, etc.). In this study, we developed noninvasive protocols, both in vitro and in vivo (from coil construction to image generation), for drosophila MRI at 9.4 T. The 10*10*80-μm resolution makes it possible to visualize whole drosophila (head, thorax, abdomen) and internal organs (ovaries, longitudinal and transverse muscles, bowel, proboscis, antennae and optical lobes). We also provide some results obtained with a Drosophila model of muscle degeneration. This opens the way for new applications of structural genetic modification studies using MRI of drosophila.  相似文献

Congestive heart failure (CHF) is a chronic cardiovascular condition associated with dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system (ANS). Heart rate variability (HRV) has been widely used to assess ANS. This paper proposes a new HRV analysis method, which uses information-based similarity (IBS) transformation and fuzzy approximate entropy (fApEn) algorithm to obtain the fApEn_IBS index, which is used to observe the complexity of autonomic fluctuations in CHF within 24 h. We used 98 ECG records (54 health records and 44 CHF records) from the PhysioNet database. The fApEn_IBS index was statistically significant between the control and CHF groups (p < 0.001). Compared with the classical indices low-to-high frequency power ratio (LF/HF) and IBS, the fApEn_IBS index further utilizes the changes in the rhythm of heart rate (HR) fluctuations between RR intervals to fully extract relevant information between adjacent time intervals and significantly improves the performance of CHF screening. The CHF classification accuracy of fApEn_IBS was 84.69%, higher than LF/HF (77.55%) and IBS (83.67%). Moreover, the combination of IBS, fApEn_IBS, and LF/HF reached the highest CHF screening accuracy (98.98%) with the random forest (RF) classifier, indicating that the IBS and LF/HF had good complementarity. Therefore, fApEn_IBS effusively reflects the complexity of autonomic nerves in CHF and is a valuable CHF assessment tool.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between proteoglycans (PGs) and collagen fibrils at the early mineralization process of mantle dentin. Ten first molar dental germs of rats were removed and fixed in glutaraldehyde/formaldehyde in cacodylate buffer and post-fixed in osmium tetroxide. The samples were dehydrated and embedded in epoxy resin. Ultrathin sections were contrasted and analyzed in TEM before and after treatment with EDTA, chondroitinases AC and ABC. After EDTA treatment, a electrondense substance associated with collagen fibril was removed, and did not stain again. A high magnification of these areas showed globular structures with 15 nm diameter surrounding collagen fibrils. In advanced mineralization areas, collagen fibrils showed a banded pattern and at high magnification the fibrils presented a light 10 nm ring inside and a dark 10 nm ring outside. After chondroitinase treatment, the electrondense substance associated with collagen fibrils was removed, showing a banded pattern of clear and dark areas along them. From morphological data, the authors proposed a model of interaction between PGs and collagen fibrils, where glicosaminoglycans chains are inside the fibrils, while the protein core remains outside. That stereochemical arrangement would start the crystal nucleation.  相似文献

The influence of chemical etching with HF on the nature of the surface of amorphous Ni59Nb40Pt1−xSnx alloys has been studied in situ by electrolyte electroreflectance (EER) and ex situ by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The EER spectrum of the untreated alloy in 0.5 M H2SO4 shows a bipolar band, which disappears after the HF treatment yielding a structureless EER spectrum similar to that of Pt, but reappears after several hours in the 0.5 M H2SO4 electrolyte. This process of dissolution by HF of an oxide species and its reappearance after a few hours cannot be followed by XPS, since the time interval between sample withdrawal from the electrolyte and actual measurement is of a few hours as well. XPS spectra showed the presence of metallic Nb before and after the HF treatment, and that niobium pentoxide was the main species in the as-quenched alloy, but that after treatment with HF it became a minor component, the main one being NbO. The main effect of the HF treatment is to produce a platinum enrichment of the surface, as unequivocally determined by cyclic voltammetry, XPS and EER. After Ar sputtering for 9 min the XPS spectrum of the untreated alloy showed metallic Nb only, while in the HF-treated alloy the peaks of metallic Nb were swamped by those of NbO and some Nb2O5. We interpret this difference as being due to the formation by the HF attack of a porous Nb film which becomes oxidized in the electrolyte and/or during transfer to the spectrometer, and so thick that it is not eliminated by Ar sputtering for 9 min.  相似文献

Long echo time (TE=270 ms) in vivo proton NMR spectra resembling human brain metabolite patterns were simulated for lineshape fitting (LF) and quantitative artificial neural network (ANN) analyses. A set of experimental in vivo 1H NMR spectra were first analyzed by the LF method to match the signal-to-noise ratios and linewidths of simulated spectra to those in the experimental data. The performance of constructed ANNs was compared for the peak area determinations of choline-containing compounds (Cho), total creatine (Cr), and N-acetyl aspartate (NAA) signals using both manually phase-corrected and magnitude spectra as inputs. The peak area data from ANN and LF analyses for simulated spectra yielded high correlation coefficients demonstrating that the peak areas quantified with ANN gave similar results as LF analysis. Thus, a fully automated ANN method based on magnitude spectra has demonstrated potential for quantification of in vivo metabolites from long echo time spectroscopic imaging.  相似文献

A systematic approach towards the fabrication of highly functionalized silica shell magnetic nanoparticles, presently used for enzyme immobilization, is herein fully presented. The synthesis of bare maghemite (γ-Fe2O3) nanoparticles was accomplished by thermal co-precipitation of iron ions in ammonia alkaline solution at harsh reaction conditions, respectively. Primary surface engineering of maghemite nanoparticles was successfully performed by the proper deposition of silica onto nanoparticles surface under strictly regulated reaction conditions. Next, the secondary surface functionalization of the particles was achieved by coating the particles with organosilane followed by glutaraldehyde activation in order to enhance protein immobilization. Covalent immobilization of cholesterol oxidase was attempted afterwards. The structural and magnetic properties of magnetic silica nanocomposites were characterized by TEM and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) instruments. X-ray diffraction measurements confirmed the spinel structure and average size of uncoated maghemite nanoparticles to be around 20 nm in diameter. SEM-EDS spectra indicated a strong signal for Si, implying the coating procedure of silica onto the particles surface to be successfully accomplished. Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra analysis confirmed the binding of amino silane molecules onto the surface of the maghemite nanoparticles mediated Si-O-Si chemical bonds. Compared to the free enzyme, the covalently bound cholesterol oxidase retained 50% of its activity. Binding of enzyme onto chemically modified magnetic nanoparticles via glutaraldehyde activation is a promising method for developing biosensing components in biomedicine.  相似文献

A weak turbulence of the magnetohydrodynamic waves in a strongly magnetized plasma was studied in the case when the plasma pressure is small as compared to the magnetic field pressure. In this case, the principal nonlinear mechanism is the resonance scattering of fast magnetoacoustic and Alfvén waves on slow magnetoacoustic waves. Since the former waves are high-frequency (HF) with respect to the latter, the total number of HF waves in the system is conserved (adiabatic invariant). In the weak turbulence regime, this integral of motion generates a Kolmogorov spectrum with a constant flux of the number of HF waves toward the longwave region. The shortwave region features a Kolmogorov spectrum with a constant energy flux. An exact angular dependence of the turbulence spectra is determined for the wave propagation angles close to the average magnetic field direction.  相似文献

A super-resolution (SR) reconstruction framework is proposed using regularization restoration combined with learning-based resolution enhancement via sparse representation. With the viewpoint of conventional learning methods, the original image can be split into low frequency (LF) and high frequency (HF) components. The reconstruction mainly focuses on the process of HF part, while the LF one is founded simply by typical interpolation function. For the severely blurred single-image, we first use regularization restoration technology to recover it. Then the regularized output remarkably betters the quality of LF used in traditional learning-based methods. Last, image resolution enhancement with characteristic of edge preserving can implement based on the acquired relatively sharp intermediate image and the pre-constructed over-complete dictionary for sparse representation. Specifically, the regularization can favorably weaken the dependence of atoms on the course of degradation. With both techniques, we can noticeably eliminate the blur and the edge artifacts in the enlarged image simultaneously. Various experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach can produce visually pleasing resolution for severely blurred image.  相似文献

We performed a spectromicroscopic measurement on TmTe single crystal with fractured surface in THz to visible regions (25 meV to 2.5 eV) at 300 K and at pressures up to 6 GPa by using a diamond anvil cell (DAC) at the spectromicroscopy station (BL43IR) of SPring-8 in the THz region and also at Kobe University in the IR–visible regions. At pressures above around 1 GPa, a prominent Drude-like structure due to the appearance of the conduction electrons was resolved in the reflection spectra. From the analysis of the spectra by a simple Drude model, we found that the pressure-induced metallic state behaves as a heavy electron system.  相似文献

Densities of Ar metastable states 1s_5 and 1s_3 are measured by using the tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy(TDLAS) in Ar and Ar/O2 mixture dual-frequency capacitively coupled plasma(DF-CCP). We investigate the effects of high-frequency(HF, 60 MHz) power, low-frequency(LF, 2 MHz) power, and working pressure on the density of Ar metastable states for three different gas components(0%, 5%, and 10% oxygen mixed in argon). The dependence of Ar metastable state density on the oxygen content is also studied at different working pressures. It is found that densities of Ar metastable states in discharges with different gas components exhibit different behaviors as HF power increases. With the increase of HF power, the metastable density increases rapidly at the initial stage, and then tends to be saturated at a higher HF power. With a small fraction(5% or 10%) of oxygen added in argon plasma, a similar change of the Ar metastable density with HF power can be observed, but the metastable density is saturated at a higher HF power than in the pure argon discharge. In the DF-CCP, the metastable density is found to be higher than in a single frequency discharge, and has weak dependence on LF power. As working pressure increases, the metastable state density first increases and then decreases,and the pressure value, at which the density maximum occurs, decreases with oxygen content increasing. Besides, adding a small fraction of oxygen into argon plasma will significantly dwindle the metastable state density as a result of quenching loss by oxygen molecules.  相似文献

Using homo-junction structure and relative thin linear graded InxGa1−xAs as the buffer layer, extended wavelength InGaAs PIN photodetectors with cut-off wavelength of 2.2 and 2.5 μm at room temperature have been grown by using GSMBE, and their performance over a wide temperature range have been extensively investigated. For those 2.2 or 2.5 μm detectors with 100 μm diameter, the typical dark current (VR = 10 mV) and R0A are 57 nA/10.3 Ω cm2 or 67 nA/12.7 Ω cm2 at 290 K, and 84 pA/4.70 kΩ cm2 or 161 pA/3.12 kΩ cm2 at 210 K respectively. The thermal activation energies of the dark current are 0.447 eV or 0.404 eV for 2.2 or 2.5 μm detectors respectively.  相似文献
