Heat effects of mixing of aqueous solutions of Cu(NO3)2 and L-valine were measured by the calorimetric method at 298.15 K and a ionic strength of 0.5–1.5 (KNO3). The standard heat effects of formation of the Cu(II) complexes with L-valine in an aqueous solution were obtained by the extrapolation to the zero ionic strength using the equation with one individual parameter. The standard thermodynamic characteristics of complex formation in the Cu2+-L-valine system were calculated.  相似文献

Heats of the interaction of Cu(NO3)2 solutions with L-glutamine solutions were measured directly by calorimetry at a temperature of 298.15 K and ionic strength values of 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 (KNO3). Using RRSU universal software, the experimental data were subjected to rigorous mathematical treatment with allowances made for several concurrent processes in the system. The heats of formation of the CuL+ and CuL2 complexes were calculated from the calorimetric measurements. The standard heats of the complex formation of Cu2+ with L-glutamine were obtained by extrapolation to zero ionic strength. The complete thermodynamic characteristic (Δr H o, Δr G o, Δr S o) of the complex formation processes in a Cu2+—L-glutamine system was obtained.  相似文献

Sulphoxide ligands in piperidinium based ionic liquid were demonstrated as highly efficient, selective and environmentally benign systems for the extraction of plutonium from acidic aqueous solution. The extraction followed ‘cation-exchange mechanism’ via [Pu(NO3)·L]3+ and [PuO2(NO3)·L]+ species. The extraction efficiency followed the trend: APSO > BPSO > BMSO. The phenyl substituted sulphoxides showed higher affinity for plutonium due to a combination of steric as well as electronic factors. Extraction process was thermodynamically spontaneous for all three solvent systems. Oxalic acid and sodium carbonate were suitable for quantitative stripping of Pu4+ and PuO2 2+, respectively. APSO in ionic liquid showed good radiolytic stability.  相似文献

Uranyl–sulphate complexes are the predominant U(VI) species present in acid solutions resulting either from underground uranium ore leaching or from the remediation of leaching sites. Thus, the study of U(VI) speciation in these solutions is of practical significance. The spectra of UO2(NO3)2 + Na2SO4 solutions of different Φ S = [SO42−]/[U(VI)] ratio at pH = 2 were recorded for this purpose. As the presence of uranyl-nitrate complexes should be expected under these experimental conditions, the spectra of UO2(NO3)2 + NaNO3 solutions with different Φ N = [NO3]/[U(VI)] ratio at pH = 2 were also measured. The effects of Φ S and Φ N ratios value were most pronounced in wavelength interval 380–500 nm. Therefore, these parts of experimental overall spectra were used for deconvolution into the spectra of individual species by the method proposed. It enabled to calculate stability constants of anticipated species at zero ionic strength. The Specific Ion Interaction Theory (SIT) was used for this purpose. Stability constants of UO2SO4, UO2(SO4)22−, UO2NO3 + and UO2(NO3)2 coincided well with published data, but those for UO2(SO4)34− and UO2(NO3)3 were significantly lower.  相似文献

The extraction of Pu(IV) and Th with tridodecylamine—xylene mixtures from about 6M nitric acid soil leach solutions was studied as a function of the chemical composition of the aqueous phase (iron and calcium concentration, acidity) and the amine concentration in the extractant. No correlation was found between the partition coefficients of Pu(IV) and Th and the composition parameters mentioned above at any of the amine concentrations examined. The slope, in a bilogarithmic plot, of the partition coefficients versus the amine concentrations was found to be close to 2 for Pu(IV) as well as Th in pure 6.5M nitric acid solution, thus indicating the presence of the complexes Pu(NO3) 6 2− and Th(NO3) 6 2− in the extract. When the pure nitric acid solution was replaced by soil leach solutions of similar molarity in HNO3, the slope remained 2 for Pu(IV), but changed to 1.5 for Th. A possible reason for this slope yielded by Th may be the coexistence of the complexes Th(NO3) 6 2− and Th(NO3) 5 in the extraction phase. The equilibrium constants and heats of formation of complexes of N,N-bis(carboxymethyl)aspartic acid (H4Y) with Cd2+ ions at 298.15 K and ionic strengths of 0.2, 0.5, and 1.0 (KNO3) were determined by potentiometric titration and calorimetrically. The thermodynamic characteristics of formation of the CdY2− complex at fixed and zero ionic strength values were calculated. The values obtained were interpreted.  相似文献

Four new perchlorate complexes of tetravalent actinides with dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) molecules (An4+ = Th, U, Np, Pu) are synthesized and studied. According to the X-ray diffraction data, compounds [Th(DMSO)9](ClO4)4 · 2CH3CN (I), [U(DMSO)8](ClO4)4 · CH3CN (II), [Np(DMSO)8](ClO4)4 · CH3CN (III), and [Pu(DMSO)8](ClO4)4 · CH3CN (IV) crystallize in the triclinic crystal system (space group P1). The crystals of compounds IIIV are isostructural. The absorption spectra of the complexes in the IR and visible regions are measured. All compounds exhibit a decrease in the frequencies of stretching vibrations ν(SO) over the spectrum of free DMSO, indicating the formation of the O-bonded complexes of An4+. The optical spectra of the crystalline compounds exhibit shifts of the bands of electronic f-f transitions of the An4+ ions relative to the hydrated ions: the bathochromic shifts for the U and Np complexes and the hypsochromic shift for the Pu complex. The first coordination sphere of the actinide atoms in the studied complexes is highly stable.  相似文献

The adsorption and activation of NO molecules on Cu-ZSM-5 catalysts with different Cu/Al and Si/Al ratios (from 0.05 to 1.4 and from 17 to 45, respectively) subjected to different pretreatment was studied by ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance (UV-Vis DR). It was found that the amount of chemisorbed NO and the catalyst activity in NO decomposition increased with an increase in the Cu/Al ratio to 0.35–0.40. The intensity of absorption bands at 18400 and 25600 cm−1 in the UV-Vis DR spectra increased symbatically. It was hypothesized that the adsorption of NO occurs at Cu+ ions localized in chain copper oxide structures with the formation of mono- and dinitrosyl Cu(I) complexes, and this process is accompanied by the Cu2+...Cu+ intervalence transfer band in the region of 18400 cm−1. The low-temperature activation of NO occurs through the conversion of the dinitrosyl Cu(I) complex into the π-radical anion (N2O2) stabilized at the Cu2+ ion of the chain structure, [Cu2+-cis-(N2O2)], by electron transfer from the Cu+ ion to the cis dimer (NO)2. This complex corresponds to the L → M charge transfer band in the region of 25600 cm−1. The subsequent destruction of the complex [Cu2+-cis-(N2O2)] at temperatures of 150–300°C leads to the release of N2O and the formation of the complex [Cu2+O], which further participates in the formation of the nitrite-nitrate complexes [Cu2+(NO2)], [Cu2+(NO)(NO2)], and [Cu2+(NO3)] and NO decomposition products.  相似文献

The stability constants of the bismuth(III), indium(III), lead(II), and cadmium,(II) monocomplexes with selenourea (seu) and thiourea (tu) were determined spectrophotometrically at the ionic strength 1 (0.5 mol/L HClO4 + NaClO4) or 2 (1 mol/L HClO4 + NaClO4) and 276 and 298 K. For all metals, the stability constants (β1) of the complexes with seu were higher than those of the complexes with tu and changed in the series Bi3+ > Cd2+ ≈ In3+ > Pb2+. A correlation between logβ1(S) and logβ1(Se) was established.  相似文献

Boiling temperature measurements have been made at ambient pressure for saturated ternary solutions of NaCl + KNO3 + H2O, NaNO3 + KNO3 + H2O, and NaCl + Ca(NO3)2 + H2O over the full composition range, along with those of the single salt systems. Boiling temperatures were also measured for the four component NaCl + NaNO3 + KNO3 + H2O and five component NaCl + NaNO3 + KNO3 + Ca(NO3)2 + H2O mixtures, where the solute mole fraction of Ca(NO3)2, x{Ca(NO3)2}, was varied between 0 and 0.25. The maximum boiling temperature found for the NaCl + KNO3 + H2O system is ≈134.9 C; for the NaNO3 + KNO3 + H2O system is ≈165.1 C at x(NaNO3) ≈ 0.46 and x(KNO3) ≈ 0.54; and for the NaCl + Ca(NO3)2 + H2O system is 164.7 ± 0.6 C at x{NaCl} ≈ 0.25 and x{Ca(NO3)2} ≈ 0.75. The NaCl + NaNO3 + KNO3 + Ca(NO3)2 + H2O system forms molten salts below their maximum boiling temperatures and the temperatures corresponding to the cessation of boiling (dry-out temperatures) of these liquid mixtures were determined. These dry-out temperatures range from ≈300 C when x{Ca(NO3)2} = 0 to ≥ 400 C when x{Ca(NO3)2} = 0.20 and 0.25. Mutual deliquescence/efflorescence relative humidity (MDRH/MERH) measurements were also made for the NaNO3 + KNO3 and NaCl + NaNO3 + KNO3 salt mixture from 120 to 180 C at ambient pressure. The NaNO3 + KNO3 salt mixture has a MDRH of 26.4% at 120 C and 20.0% at 150 C. This salt mixture also absorbs water at 180 C, which is higher than expected from the boiling temperature experiments. The NaCl + NaNO3 + KNO3 salt mixture was found to have a MDRH of 25.9% at 120 C and 10.5% at 180 C. The investigated mixture compositions correspond to some of the major mineral assemblages that are predicted to control brine composition due to the deliquescence of salts formed in dust deposited on waste canisters in the proposed nuclear repository at Yucca Mountain, Nevada.  相似文献

The heat effects of interaction between solutions of D,L-threonine and Ni(NO3)2 were measured by direct calorimetry at 298.15 K and ionic strength values of from 0.5 to 1.5 (KNO3). The heat effects of formation of the NiL+, NiL2, and NiL 3 ? complexes were calculated. The influence of background electrolyte concentration on the heats of complex formation in the Ni2+-D,L-threonine system was studied. The standard heat effects of formation of Ni2+ complexes with D,L-threonine were obtained by extrapolation to zero ionic strength. The standard enthalpies of formation of NiL+, NiL2, and NiL 3 ? in aqueous solution were calculated.  相似文献

The spectra of copper(II)–ammonia solutions in 2 mol-kg–1 NH4NO3(aq) were recorded as a function of pH with a new UV–visible flow cell, capable of operating at conditions up to 325°C and 300 bars. Equilibrium constants for the formation of copper(II)–ammonia complexes Cu(NH3)n 2+, 1 n 4, from 30 to 150°C were determined by evolving factor analysis and nonlinear least-squares regression. Measurements at higher temperatures were limited by thermal decomposition of NH4NO3(aq). The formation constants of Cu(NH3)n 2+ decrease with temperature, consistent with extrapolations of literature data from measurements below 100°C. Measurements above 150°C were carried out in 0.5 mol-kg–1 CF3SO3H (aq), at the very high ammonia concentrations required to avoid the precipitation of CuO(s). The spectra are consistent with Cu(NH3)4 2+ as the predominant species, based on extrapolations of peak maxima and molar absorptivities from lower temperatures. Shifts in the spectra of Cu2+ and the Cu(NH3)n 2+ species to higher wavelength and increases in molar absorbance with increasing temperature are discussed in terms of the structure of the complexes.  相似文献

SrAl2O4:Eu2+, Dy3+ powders were synthesized by sol–gel–combustion process using metal nitrates as the source of metal ions and citric acid as a chelating agent of metal ions. The amounts of citric acid in mole were two times those of the metal ions. By tracing the formation process of the sol–gel, it is found that decreasing the amount of NO3 in the solution is necessary for the formation of transparent sol and gel, and the dropping of ethanol into the precursor solution can decrease the amount of NO3 in the solution. By combusting citrate sol at 600 °C, followed by heating the resultant combustion ash at 1,100–1,300 °C in a weak reductive atmosphere containing active carbon, SrAl2O4:Eu2+, Dy3+ phosphors can prepared. X-ray diffraction, Thermogravimetry–differential thermal analysis, scanning electron microscopy and fluorescence spectrophotometer were used to investigate the formation process and luminescent properties of the as-synthesized SrAl2O4:Eu2+, Dy3+. The results reveal that the SrAl2O4 crystallizes completely when the combustion ash was sintered at 1,200–1,300 °C. The excitation and emission spectra indicate that excitation broadband mainly lies in a visible range and the phosphors emit strong light at 510 nm under the excitation of 348 nm. The afterglow of phosphors lasts for over 10 h when the excited source is cut off.  相似文献

The efflorescence and deliquescence processes of Mg(NO3)2 aerosol particles deposited on ZnSe substrate have been investigated through in situ Fourier transform infrared-attenuated total reflection (FTIR-ATR) technique at the molecular level. At relative humidity (RH) of ∼3%, Mg(NO3)2 particles existed as amorphous states. The amorphous Mg(NO3)2 particles were transformed into crystalline Mg(NO3)2 · nH2O (n ≤ 5) with slight increasing of RH. Thermodynamically stable Mg(NO3)2·6H2O crystals were gradually formed on the particle surface and started to be dissolved at the saturation point (∼53% RH). At the same time, a continuous phase transition from Mg(NO3)2 · nH2O (n≤5) to Mg(NO3)2·6H2O occurred on the particle surface. This led the solid particles to completely deliquesce at 76% RH, which was much higher than the saturation point of 53% RH. In the efflorescence process, Mg(NO3)2 droplets entered into the supersaturated region due to the gradual evaporation of water. Finally, amorphous particles were formed when RH decreased below 5%. In the FTIR-ATR spectra of the supersaturated Mg(NO3)2 droplets, the absorbance of the symmetric stretching vibration of NO 3 (v 1- NO 3 ) clearly became stronger. It resulted from the continuous formation of solvent share ion pairs (SIPs), and even the contact ion pairs (CIPs) between Mg2+ and NO 3 . Palladium complexation in concentrated nitric acid solutions was studied by UV/Vis absorption spectrophotometry. The ionic strength of the solutions was fixed to I = 1, 3, or 5 mol dm−3 (M) by mixing of HNO3 and HClO4. The major palladium species were found to be Pd2+, PdNO3 +, and Pd(NO3)2. The formation constant of PdNO3 + was determined to be β 1 = 1.32 (I = 1 M), 1.49 (I = 3 M), or 1.47 (I = 5 M), while that of Pd(NO3)2 to be β 2 = 0.45 (I = 3 M) or 0.14 (I = 5 M).  相似文献

To determine the solubility product of PuPO4(cr, hyd.) and the complexation constants of Pu(III) with phosphate and EDTA, the solubility of PuPO4(cr, hyd.) was investigated as a function of: (1) time and pH (varied from 1.0 to 12.0), and at a fixed 0.00032 mol⋅L−1 phosphate concentration; (2) NaH2PO4 concentrations varying from 0.0001 mol⋅L−1 to 1.0 mol⋅L−1 and at a fixed pH of 2.5; (3) time and pH (varied from 1.3 to 13.0) at fixed concentrations of 0.00032 mol⋅L−1 phosphate and 0.0004 mol⋅L−1 or 0.002 mol⋅L−1 Na2H2EDTA; and (4) Na2H2EDTA concentrations varying from 0.00005 mol⋅L−1 to 0.0256 mol⋅L−1 at a fixed 0.00032 mol⋅L−1 phosphate concentration and at pH values of approximately 3.5, 10.6, and 12.6. A combination of solvent extraction and spectrophotometric techniques confirmed that the use of hydroquinone and Na2S2O4 helped maintain the Pu as Pu(III). The solubility data were interpreted using the Pitzer and SIT models, and both provided similar values for the solubility product of PuPO4(cr, hyd.) and for the formation constant of PuEDTA. The log 10 of the solubility product of PuPO4(cr, hyd.) [PuPO4(cr, hyd.) \rightleftarrows\rightleftarrows Pu3++PO43-\mathrm{Pu}^{3+}+\mathrm{PO}_{4}^{3-}] was determined to be −(24.42±0.38). Pitzer modeling showed that phosphate interactions with Pu3+ were extremely weak and did not require any phosphate complexes [e.g., PuPO4(aq), PuH2PO42+\mathrm{PuH}_{2}\mathrm{PO}_{4}^{2+}, Pu(H2PO4)2+\mathrm{Pu(H}_{2}\mathrm{PO}_{4})_{2}^{+}, Pu(H2PO4)3(aq), and Pu(H2PO4)4-\mathrm{Pu(H}_{2}\mathrm{PO}_{4})_{4}^{-}] as proposed in existing literature, to explain the experimental solubility data. SIT modeling, however, required the inclusion of PuH2PO42+\mathrm{PuH}_{2}\mathrm{PO}_{4}^{2+} to explain the data in high NaH2PO4 concentrations; this illustrates the differences one can expect when using these two different chemical models to interpret the data. Of the Pu(III)-EDTA species, only PuEDTA was needed to interpret the experimental data over a large range of pH values (1.3–12.9) and EDTA concentrations (0.00005–0.256 mol⋅L−1). Calculations based on density functional theory support the existence of PuEDTA (with prospective stoichiometry as Pu(OH2)3EDTA) as the chemically and structurally stable species. The log 10 value of the complexation constant for the formation of PuEDTA [ Pu3++EDTA4-\rightleftarrows PuEDTA-\mathrm{Pu}^{3+}+\mathrm{EDTA}^{4-}\rightleftarrows \mathrm{PuEDTA}^{-}] determined in this study is −20.15±0.59. The data also showed that PuHEDTA(aq), Pu(EDTA)45-\mathrm{Pu(EDTA)}_{4}^{5-}, Pu(EDTA)(HEDTA)4−, Pu(EDTA)(H2EDTA)3−, and Pu(EDTA)(H3EDTA)2−, although reported in the literature, have no region of dominance in the experimental range of variables investigated in this study.  相似文献

We have measured the second acid dissociation constant, K 2a , at several ionic strengths for hydrogen telluride (H2Te) using the Charge Transfer to Solvent (CTTS) uv spectra of its anions HTe and Te2−. Since it is produced in our solutions, we have also determined the spectra of Te2 2− both in the uv and in the visible regions. At 25 C, K 2a = (1.28 ± 0.02) × 10−12 by extrapolation to zero ionic strength. Its value at an ionic strength equal to 0.5 mol.dm-3 was estimated to be (8.7 ± 0.2) × 10−12. The solution thermodynamics of these species are also discussed and comparisons are made to related acids.  相似文献

The reductions of [Co(CN)5NO2]3−, [Co(NH3)5NO2]2+ and [Co(NH3)5ONO]2+, by TiIII in aqueous acidic solution have been studied spectrophotometrically. Kinetic studies were carried out using conventional techniques at an ionic strength of 1.0 mol dm−3 (LiCl/HCl) at 25.0 ± 0.1 °C and acid concentrations between 0.015 and 0.100 mol dm−3. The second-order rate constant is inverse—acid dependent and is described by the limiting rate law:- k2 ≈ k0 + k[H+]−1,where k=k′Ka and Ka is the hydrolytic equilibrium constant for [Ti(H2O)6]3+. Values of k0 obtained for [Co(CN)5NO2]3−, [Co(NH3)5NO2]2+ and [Co(NH3)5ONO]2+ are (1.31 ± 0.05) × 10−2 dm3 mol−1 s−1, (4.53 ± 0.08) × 10−2 dm3 mol−1 s−1 and (1.7 ± 0.08) × 10−2 dm3 mol−1 s−1 respectively, while the corresponding k′ values from reductions by TiOH2+ are 10.27 ± 0.45 dm3 mol−1 s−1, 14.99 ± 0.70 dm3 mol−1 s−1 and 17.93 ± 0.78 dm3 mol−1 s−1 respectively. Values of K a obtained for the three complexes lie in the range (1–2) × 10−3 mol dm−3 which suggest an outer-sphere mechanism.  相似文献
