以包头某钢铁线材企业生产实际调度问题为背景,研究了一类带组换装时间的单机调度问题.由于该问题是NP难的,本文提出了一类适合该问题的禁忌搜索算法.此外,本文将问题性质引入了禁忌搜索算法以进一步提高算法寻优性能,降低算法运行时间.本文提出的算法在随机问题和实际问题上均进行了测试,实验结果表明,本文提出的算法能在不到10秒的时间内获得实际问题的一个近似最优解.  相似文献

The aim of this research is twofold: Firstly, to model and solve a complex nurse scheduling problem with an integer programming formulation and evolutionary algorithms. Secondly, to detail a novel statistical method of comparing and hence build better scheduling algorithms by identifying successful algorithm modifications. The comparison method captures the results of algorithms in a single figure that can then be compared using traditional statistical techniques. Thus, the proposed method of comparing algorithms is an objective procedure designed to assist in the process of improving an algorithm. This is achieved even when some results are non-numeric or missing due to infeasibility. The final algorithm outperforms all previous evolutionary algorithms, which relied on human expertise for modification.  相似文献

Rollout Algorithms for Stochastic Scheduling Problems   总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8  
Stochastic scheduling problems are difficult stochastic control problems with combinatorial decision spaces. In this paper we focus on a class of stochastic scheduling problems, the quiz problem and its variations. We discuss the use of heuristics for their solution, and we propose rollout algorithms based on these heuristics which approximate the stochastic dynamic programming algorithm. We show how the rollout algorithms can be implemented efficiently, with considerable savings in computation over optimal algorithms. We delineate circumstances under which the rollout algorithms are guaranteed to perform better than the heuristics on which they are based. We also show computational results which suggest that the performance of the rollout policies is near-optimal, and is substantially better than the performance of their underlying heuristics.  相似文献

Pipelines are one of the most economic and safe ways to transport oil derivatives to depots near the local markets. This is so, especially when there is a need for carrying a huge amount of petroleum products to long distance points. A pipeline may connect several refineries and depots where the connected points are able to inject products or receive them, or both (dual purpose depots). The main point of pipeline scheduling is to identify an optimal sequence of batches that satisfy demand with minimum costs. This paper presents an MILP continuous formulation for pipeline scheduling. The proposed model results in the reduction of problem size with respect to available models, and increases the accuracy. Computational results and data are reported.  相似文献

This paper addresses a hot-rolling scheduling problem from compact strip production processes. At first, a mathematical model that consists of two coupled sub-problems is presented. The first sub-problem is the sheet-strip assignment problem that is about how to assign sheet-strips to rolling-turns with the objective of minimizing virtual sheet-strips. The second is the sheet-strip sequencing problem that is about how to sort the sheet-strips in each rolling-turn with the objective of minimizing the maximal changes in thickness between adjacent sheet-strips and the change times of the thickness so as to ensure high quality sheet-strips to be produced. And then, an improved hot-rolling scheduling heuristic is proposed to solve the sheet-strip assignment problem. A multi-objective evolutionary algorithm is developed to find the Pareto optimal or near-optimal solutions for the sheet-strip sequencing problem. Besides, the problem-specific knowledge is explored. The key operators including crossover operator, mutation operator and repair operator are designed for the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm. At last, extensive experiments based on real-world instances from a compact strip production process are carried out. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms for solving the hot-rolling scheduling problem under consideration.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a modified shifting bottleneck heuristic for complex job shops. The considered job shop environment contains parallel batching machines, machines with sequence-dependent setup times and reentrant process flows. Semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities (Wafer Fabs) are typical examples for manufacturing systems with these characteristics. Our primary performance measure is total weighted tardiness (TWT). The shifting bottleneck heuristic uses a disjunctive graph to decompose the overall scheduling into scheduling problems for single tool groups. The scheduling algorithms for these scheduling problems are called subproblem solution procedures (SSPs). In previous research, only subproblem solution procedures based on dispatching rules have been considered. In this paper, we are interested in how much we can gain in terms of TWT if we apply more sophisticated subproblem solution procedures like genetic algorithms for parallel machine scheduling. We conduct simulation experiments in a dynamic job shop environment in order to assess the performance of the suggested subproblem solution procedures. It turns out that using near to optimal subproblem solution procedures leads in many situations to improved results compared to dispatching-based subproblem solution procedures.  相似文献

Motivated by a real-life scheduling problem in a steel wire factory in China,this paper considers the single machine scheduling problem with sequence-dependent family setup times to minimize maximum lateness. In view of the NP-hard nature of the problem, structural (dominance and neighbourhood)properties of the problem are described and used in the tabu search algorithms to find optimal or near-optimal schedules. These proposed structural properties quickly exclude unpromising and/or non-improving neighbours from further search.Empirical results on the randomly generated and real-life problem instances from a factory in China show that the proposed heuristic algorithms utilizing the structural properties can obtain optimal or near optimal solutions with a reasonable computational effort.  相似文献

This paper considers the problems of scheduling jobs on parallel identical machines where an optimal schedule is defined as one that gives the smallest maximum tardiness (or the minimum number of tardy jobs) among the set of schedules with optimal total flow-time (the sum of the completion times of all jobs). We show that these problems are unary NP-Hard, develop lower bounds for these two secondary criteria problems, and describe heuristic algorithms for their solution. Results of a computational study show that the proposed heuristic algorithms are quite effective and efficient in solving these hierarchical criteria scheduling problems.  相似文献

针对柔性作业车间调度问题,提出一种新型两阶段动态混合群智能优化算法.算法初始阶段采用动态邻域的协同粒子群进行粗搜索,第二阶段提出了基于混沌算子的蜂群进行细搜索,既增强了种群多样性,又提高了算法搜索精度,实现了全局搜索与局部搜索能力的有效平衡.针对柔性作业车间调度问题特点,采用独特的编码方式和位置更新策略来避免不合法解的产生.最后将此算法在不同规模的实例上进行了仿真测试,并与最近提出的其他几种具有代表性的算法进行了比较,验证了算法的有效性和优越性.  相似文献

We consider a new dynamic edge covering and scheduling problem that focuses on assigning resources to nodes in a network to minimize the amount of time required to process all edges in it. Resources need to be co-located at the endpoints of an edge for it to be processed and, therefore, this problem contains both edge covering and scheduling decisions. These new problems have motivating applications in traffic systems and military intelligence operations. We provide complexity results for the dynamic edge covering and scheduling problem over different types of networks. We then show that existing approximation algorithms for parallel machine scheduling problems can be leveraged to provide approximation algorithms for this new class of problems over certain types of networks.  相似文献

研究一类带有运输且加工具有灵活性的两阶段无等待流水作业排序问题, 其中每阶段只有一台机器, 每个工件有两道工序需要依次在两台机器上加工, 工件在两台机器上的加工及两道工序之间不允许等待. 给出两种近似算法, 并分别分析其最坏情况界. 第一种算法是排列排序, 证明了最坏情况界不超过5/2; 第二种算法将工件按照两道工序加工时间之和的递增顺序排序, 证明其最坏情况界不超过2. 最后, 通过数值模拟比较算法的性能. 对问题中各参数取不同值的情况, 分别生成若干个实例, 用算法得到的解与最优解的下界作比值, 通过分析这些比值的最大值、最小值和平均值来比较上述两个算法的性能.  相似文献

An approach for optimization of trading strategies (algorithms) based on indicators of financial markets and evolutionary computation is described. A new version of differential evolution algorithm for the search for optimal parameters of trading strategies for maximization of trading profit is used. 本文在传统资源受限项目调度问题(resource-constrained project scheduling problem, RCPSP)中引入资源转移时间,为有效获得问题的最优解,采用资源流编码方式表示可行解,建立了带有资源转移时间的RCPSP资源流优化模型,目标为最小化项目工期。根据问题特征设计了改进的资源流重构邻域算子,分别设计了改进的禁忌搜索算法和贪心随机自适应禁忌搜索算法求解模型。数据实验结果表明,相较于现有文献中的方法,所提两种算法均可针对更多的项目实例求得最优解,并且得到最优解的时间更短,求解效率更高。此外,分析了算法在求解具有不同特征的项目实例时的性能,所得结果为项目经理结合项目特征评价算法适用性提供了指导。  相似文献

This paper considers two scheduling problems for a two-machine flowshop where a single machine is followed by a batching machine. The first problem is that there is a transporter to carry the jobs between machines. The second problem is that there are deteriorating jobs to be processed on the single machine. For the first problem with minimizing the makespan, we formulate it as a mixed integer programming model and then prove that it is strongly NP-hard. A heuristic algorithm is proposed for solving this problem and its worst case performance is analyzed. The computational experiments are carried out and the numerical results show that the heuristic algorithm is effective. For the second problem, we derive the optimal algorithms with polynomial time for minimizing the makespan, the total completion time and the maximum lateness, respectively.  相似文献

This paper studies two-machine flowshop scheduling with batching and release time, whose objective is to minimize the makespan. We formulate the scheduling problem as a mixed integer programming model and show that it is a strongly NP-hard problem. We derive a lower bound and develop dynamic programming-based heuristic algorithms to solve the scheduling problem. Computational experiments are carried out to evaluate the performance of the heuristic algorithms. The numerical results show that some of the heuristic algorithms can indeed find effective solutions for the scheduling problem.  相似文献

This article considers flow shop scheduling problems with a learning effect. By the learning effect, we mean that the processing time of a job is defined by a function of its position in a processing permutation. The objective is to minimize the total weighted completion time. Some heuristic algorithms by using the optimal permutations for the corresponding single machine scheduling problems are presented, and the worst-case bound of these heuristics are also analyzed.  相似文献
