Summary Triethyl- and triphenyl-germanes add to dimethyl 2-propene-1-boronate with formation of dimethyl 3-(triethylgermyl)- and 3-(triphenylgermyl)-1-propaneboronates respectively.The NMR spectrum was measured by V. F. Bystrov, whom the authors thank. The authors also thank V. F. Organoboron compounds. Communication 118. Ethanediboronic acids and some of their derivatives

Summary In the hydroboration of dibutyl ethyleneboronate with subsequent treatment with alcohols 1,2- and 1, 1-ethanediboronic esters are formed in relative amounts of 1 1.3–1.75. From these esters the corresponding acids and the products of their condensation with o-phenylenediamine were prepared.

Summary Diarylchloroborines were prepared by the action of phosphorus pentachloride on diarylborinic esters.     

Organoboron compounds Communication 7. Action of phosphorus pentachloride on areneboronic esters. Synthesis of arenechloroboronic esters

Summary When benzeneboronic and o-tolueneboronic esters were treated with phosphorus pentachloride, benzenechloroboronic and o-toluenechloroboronic esters were obtained, these being the first representatives of a new type of boron compounds.

Summary By the action of primary and secondary aliphatic amines on arenechloroboronic esters, N-alkyl- and N,Ndialkyl-areneamidoboronic esters were prepared.
