We construct a fundamental solution of an equation with perturbed diffusion operator on a manifold of nonnegative curvature.     

A Nonlinear Parabolic Equation with Noise

In this paper we study a class of parabolic equations with a nonlinear gradient term. The system is disturbed by white noise in time. We show that the unique solution of this problem can be represented as the Wick product between a normalized random variable of exponential form and the solution of a nonlinear parabolic equation. We allow random initial data which might be anticipating. A relation between the Wick product with a normalized exponential and translation is proved in order to establish our results.     

Remarks on a Nonlinear Parabolic Equation

The equation , , is studied in and in the periodic case. It is shown that the equation is well-posed in and possesses regularizing properties. For nonnegative initial data and the solution decays in as . In the periodic case it tends uniformly to a limit. A consistent difference scheme is presented and proved to be stable and convergent.

Perturbation Method for a Parabolic Equation with Drift on a Riemannian Manifold

We construct a fundamental solution of a parabolic equation with drift on a Riemannian manifold of nonpositive curvature by the perturbation method on the basis of a solution of an equation without drift. We establish conditions for the drift field under which this method is applicable.

Behavior of the Double-Layer Potential for a Parabolic Equation on a Manifold

We prove that, similarly to the double-layer potential in , the double-layer potential constructed in a Riemann manifold of nonpositive sectional curvature has a jump in passing through the surface where its density is defined.

Global Attractor of One Nonlinear Parabolic Equation

We apply the theory of multivalued semiflows to a nonlinear parabolic equation of the reaction–diffusion type in the case where it is impossible to prove the uniqueness of its solution. A multivalued semiflow is generated by solutions satisfying a certain estimate global in time. We establish the existence of a global compact attractor in the phase space for the multivalued semiflow generated by a nonlinear parabolic equation. We prove that this attractor is an upper-semicontinuous function of a parameter.     

A Nonlinear Loaded Parabolic Equation and a Related Inverse Problem

The solvability of the nonlocal-in-time boundary-value problem for the nonlinear parabolic equation $$u_t - \Delta u + c(\bar u(x,T))u = f(x,t),$$ where $\bar u(x,t) = \alpha (t)u(x,t) + \int_0^t {\beta (\tau )u(x,\tau )d\tau } $ for given functions $\alpha (t)$ and $\beta (t)$ , is studied. Existence and uniqueness theorems for regular solutions are proved; it is shown that the results obtained can be used to study the solvability of coefficient inverse problems.
