Complexes of poly(methacrylic acid) (PMAA) and poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) with different PEO molecular weight were studied by solid-state high-resolution 13C NMR spectroscopy, with the emphasis on the PEO molecular weight effect on inter-polymer interaction, morphology and molecular motion. It is found that the crystalline phase of PEO is completely destroyed in the complex. The results of 1H transverse relaxation times and 13C spin-lattice relaxation times indicate that the chain mobility of both PEO and PMAA are greatly restricted by inter-molecular hydrogen-bonding interactions, especially when the molecular weight of PEO is 1500. The bulk structures of the complexes are found to be closely dependent on the molecular weight of PEO. The fraction of “free” PEO segments without forming hydrogen-bonds with PMAA increases with increasing PEO molecular weight.  相似文献

Absolute values of (79) geminal 2J(29Si‐O‐29Si) couplings were measured in an extensive series of (55) unstrained siloxanes dissolved in chloroform‐d. Signs of 2J(29Si‐O‐29Si) in some (9) silicon hydrides were determined relative to 1J(29Si‐1H) which are known to be negative. It is supposed that positive sign of the 2J(29Si‐O‐29Si) coupling found in all studied hydrides is common to all siloxanes. Theoretical calculations for simple model compounds failed to reproduce this sign and so their predictions of bond length and angle dependences cannot be taken as reliable. Useful empirical correlations were found between the 2J(29Si‐O‐29Si) couplings on one side and the total number m of oxygen atoms bonded to the silicon atoms, sum of 29Si chemical shifts or product of 1J(29Si‐13C) couplings on the other side. Two series of poly(acrylamide-co-acrylates) with compositions rangingfrom 10 to 55 mol % acrylate units were prepared by radical polymerization in inverse microemulsions. The compositional analyses of the samples were performed using elemental analysis, potentiometry and13C NMR. The comparison between the three methods indicates that13C NMR is the most reliable one, avoiding errors which often arise from associated water in hydrophilic polymers. The copolymer viscosity exhibits a maximum behavior around 40 mol % acrylate content, a lower value than that already observed for co-polymers prepared in homogeneous solution. The production of copolymers presenting high intrinsic viscosities ( 3700 cm3g) is achieved using an inverse microemulsion as the polymerization medium operating at lower temperature.  相似文献

The crosslinking Diels-Alder reaction between styrene-furfuryl methacrylate copolymer samples (poly(ST-co-FM)) and bismaleimide (BM) at 25 °C in chloroform was studied by following the decay in UV absorbance of the maleimide (MI) group at 320 nm. Reaction conditions were changed by using copolymers with different mole fraction of FM, FFM, and by employing different initial molar ratios of reactants (furan group within FM and MI group within BM). Second order kinetics were obeyed. 13C NMR spectra showed that, even when all reactants had been converted to an insoluble crosslinked network, unreacted MI groups remained, presumably in the form of singly reacted pendant BM molecules. The fractions of MI groups remaining unreacted were found to be 0.49, 0.34 and 0.22 for FM:MI mole ratios in the initial mixture of 2, 1 and 0.5 respectively, when using a copolymer of FFM=0.1354. An attempt was also made to follow the kinetics of network formation by 13C NMR spectroscopy, using the peak areas for reacted and unreacted MI and FM groups, but many of the findings were subject to some uncertainty for reasons, which are discussed. However, because the peak areas were considered reliable for unreacted MI groups, the rate constant, k, was evaluated, thereby. Overall using UV and NMR the values of k lay within the interval (0.8-3.6) × 10−5 dm3 mol−1 s−1.  相似文献

Low-molecular weight poly(ethylene oxide)s (PEO) with extended, once or twice folded chains (as characterized by SAXS), were investigated by solid-state 13C NMR spectra measured under conditions to detect only the signal of the narrow line component. The direct detection and integrated intensities of the signals from hydroxy-terminated chain-end units in these spectra confirm that the narrow line component corresponds to the noncrystalline (amorphous) phase. The NMR line of PEO carbons adjacent to the hydroxy end-groups was used as an intensity standard to obtain information on the mean number of carbons per chain contributing to the amorphous phase. Assuming that amorphous phase is formed by chain ends (cilia) and folds it follows from the spectra that the length of folds is 6-7 monomer units; cilia are 2-3 monomer units long.  相似文献

The kinetics of the copper mediated living radical polymerisation of methyl methacrylate initiated by [poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether]-based initiators (MeOPEG) of various molecular weights was followed by 1H NMR. The initiator efficiency of the macroinitiators was investigated. It was found that temperature and solvent have little effect on the reactivity of the macroinitiator, whilst chain length affects greatly the MeOPEG initiating efficiency. Steric hindrance is thought to be a main drawback, as difficult access of the monomer to the MeOPEG active chain-end and coordination of the copper catalyst to the MeOPEG chains can prevent the monomer to react with the macroinitiator.  相似文献

Thermoresponsive colloidal particles were prepared by seeded precipitation polymerization of N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) in the presence of a crosslinking monomer, N,N-methylenebisacrylamide (MBA), using polystyrene latex particles (ca. 50 nm in diameter) as seeds in aqueous dispersion. Phase transitions of the prepared poly(N-isopropylacrylamide), PNIPAM, shells on polystyrene cores were studied in comparison to colloidal PNIPAM microgel particles, in H2O and/or in D2O by dynamic light scattering, microcalorimetry and by 1H NMR spectroscopy including the measurements of spin–lattice (T1) and spin–spin (T2) relaxation times for the protons of PNIPAM. As expected, the seed particles grew in hydrodynamic size during the crosslinking polymerization of NIPAM, and a larger NIPAM to seed mass ratio in the polymerization batch led to a larger increase of particle size indicating a product coated with a thicker PNIPAM shell. Broader microcalorimetric endotherms of dehydration were observed for crosslinked PNIPAM on the solid cores compared to the PNIPAM microgels and also an increase of the transition temperature was observed. The calorimetric results were complemented by the NMR spectroscopy data of the 1H-signal intensities upon heating in D2O, showing that the phase transition of crosslinked PNIPAM on polystyrene core shifts towards higher temperatures when compared to the microgels, and also that the temperature range of the transition is broader.  相似文献

An unexpected six-membered silacycle was obtained using ring-closing metathesis of diallylsilane 3. The ring size of the compound formed was derived using a 2D 13C-13C inadequate experiment. All proton and carbon-13 resonances were assigned from classical 2D NMR experiments and the proton coupling pattern was clarified. Molecular modeling calculation was then applied using NMR data as constraints, giving the 3D structure of the synthesized compound.  相似文献

The reactions of 2-, 3-, and 4-(1-vinylpyrrol-2-yl)pyridines with methyl iodide afford the corresponding quaternary salts. Analysis of their 1H and 13C NMR spectra showed that the quaternization of the nitrogen atom considerably enhances the -acceptor effect of the pyridine ring on the pyrrole ring and on the vinyl group. 1-Methyl-2-(1-vinylpyrrol-2-yl)pyridinium iodide contains no weak intramolecular C--H...N hydrogen bond present in the starting compound.  相似文献

Abstract

Some organolead(IV) complexes derived from biologically active sulfur and nitrogen donor ligands have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, molecular weight determinations and conductivity measurements. The trigonal bipyramidal and octahedral geometries for these complexes have been proposed on the basis of electronic, infrared and NMR (1H and 13C) spectral evidences. The reactions of PbPh2(OAc)2 with alkylglyoxylate thiosemicarbazones (HRGTSC, R = Et, Bu) afforded complexes of the type [PbPh2(GTSC)] · H2O, [PbPh2(RGTSC)2] and [PbPh2Cl(BuGTSC)]. The structures of HRGTSC (R = Me, Et, Bu), [PbPh2(OAc)(RGTSC)](R = Me, Et, Bu), [PbPh2Cl(BuGTSC)] and [PbPh2(GTSC)] · H2O have been studied by X-ray diffraction. [PbPh2(OAc)(RGTSC)] and [PbPh2(GTSC)] · H2O have [PbC2NO3S] kernels and the coordination sphere of the metal is pentagonal bipyramidal. [PbPh2Cl(BuGTSC)] has a [PbC2NOSCl] kernel and the coordination geometry around lead is pentagonal bipyramidal with one vacant site. Analysis of the bond distances in [PbPh2(GTSC)] · H2O suggests a significant affinity between diphenyllead(IV) and carboxylate donor groups, supporting a borderline acidic character for this organometallic cation. 1H and 13C NMR spectra in DMSO-d6 suggest the partial dissociation of the acetate in [PbPh2(OAc)(RGTSC)] solutions and indicate some differences in the coordination mode of the two RGTSC ligands in [PbPh2(RGTSC)2] complexes.  相似文献

Modifications (CSEc and CSEh) of recently published SQSQc and SQSQh pulse sequences are proposed and tested on detection of small (~2 Hz) signed silicon-carbon coupling constants. The new sequences increase signal intensity by simplifying the spectra. The signals are about four times stronger than in SQSQc or SQSQh spectra, achieving the sensitivity of E.COSY-type experiment. The information about sign and magnitude of the coupling is preserved. CSEc and CSEh spectra for two silicon compounds are presented and compared. The two new sequences allow editing of heteronuclear correlation spectra according to the sign of the selected heteronuclear coupling constants.  相似文献

Pentavalent bis(triorganosiloxy)triphenylantimony derivatives, Ph3Sb(OSiR3)2 (R = Me, Ph), were synthesized by reaction of triphenylantimony with trimethyl- or triphenylsilanol in the presence of tert-butylhydroperoxide by the mild reaction conditions (0-5 °C, 2 h). The reaction of triphenylantimony with diethanolamine in the presence of tert-butylhydroperoxide gave the cyclic compound Ph3Sb(OCH2CH2)2NH. The mixture of Ph3SbO and Ph3Sb(OCH2CH2NMe2)2 was obtained by the reaction of triphenylantimony with 2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethanol in the presence of tert-butylhydroperoxide.  相似文献

Abstract

Replacement reactions of bis(diethyldithiocarbamato)antimony(III) chloride have been carried out with oxygen and sulfur donor ligands such as disodium oxalate, sodium acetate, sodium salicylate, benzoic acid, thioglycolic acid, acetylacetone, thiphenol, ethane-1,2-dithiol, and 2,2-dimethylpropane-1,3-diol to give mixed bis(diethyldithiocarbamato)antimony(III) derivatives of the corresponding ligands. These derivatives have been characterized by the physicochemical [melting point and molecular weight determination, elemental analysis (C, H, N, S, and Sb)], spectral [FT-IR, far-IR, NMR (1H and 13C)], ESI-mass, powder XRD, and SEM studies.

The 1H, 13C and 15N NMR spectroscopic properties of six thallium tris-(pyrazol-1-yl)borates, including a tetrakis derivative, were determined. The results in solution were necessary to understand those, more complicated, in the solid state. A collection of 205Tl-15N and 205Tl-13C couplings was measured in the latter state. Among those, a very large coupling constant (between 194 and 282 Hz) has been measured on the carbon at the position 4 of the pyrazole ring in several compounds and particularly for the cyclobutyl derivative [Tl(TpCbu)]. It has been assigned to a direct interaction of the 4-C-H ? Tl type and related to the X-ray structures, when available.  相似文献

New azo-azomethine dyes were prepared by reaction of p-aminobenzoic acid, o-anisidine, o-nitroaniline, and p-bromoaniline with salicylaldehyde respectively to form azo compounds and then condensation by urea to form 4-(R-arylazo 2-salicylaldene)-urea azo-azomethine derivatives (I(a-d)). The complexes of these ligands with Ag(I), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Hg(II) metal ions were prepared. The structure of the free ligands and their complexes were characterized by using elemental analysis (C, H, N), (1)H NMR, IR and UV-Vis-spectra. The proton dissociation constants of the ligands and the stability constant of their complexes have been determined potentiometrically in 40% (v/v) alcohol-water medium as well as the stoichiometry of complexes were determined conductometrically. The data reveal that the stoichiometries for all complexes were prepared in molar ratios (1:1) and (1:2) (M:L). The electrolytic and nonelectrolytic natures of the complexes were assigned based on molar conductance measurements. The thermogravimetric (TG), and differential thermal analyses (DTA) were studied in nitrogen atmosphere with heating rate 10°C/min. The kinetic and thermodynamic parameters for thermal decomposition of complexes have been calculated by graphical method using Coats-Redfern (CR) method.  相似文献

The carbonyl signal in the 100 MHz 13C NMR spectra of poly(methyl acrylate) (PMA) recorded in benzene-d6 exhibits configurational sensitivity up to pentads, and the signal of backbone β-CH2 carbons shows splitting up to configurational hexads with traces of octads. Assignment of the sequences to respective signals was confirmed by computer simulation of both carbonyl and methylene signals applying a method of incremental calculation of chemical shifts of individual sequences and second-order Markov statistics for sequence probabilities.  相似文献
